Overall, we had a very good experience with Alaska Airlines on our flight from Honolulu to Seattle. The First Class cabin was comfortable, boarding was smooth, and the crew was friendly and attentive. The meal service was solid and the overall flight felt well organized. One thing that stood out negatively was the drink service. I was in First Class and, while quietly watching movies and not causing any issues, I was cut off after four drinks. I understand safety policies, but the cutoff felt a bit premature given the context.
Cancelled the flight cuz they sent the WRONG plane and then they promised to rebook us and let us know within the hour what our next flight was. I have heard nothing after 12 hours and can’t get ahold of anyone.
Wheelchair assistance was excellent. I had a saver fare, but was given a seat in Premium. So very nice!! Extra legroom, complimentary beer. The flight crew was very nice and efficient. The gate agent in Seattle double checked to make sure I was able to board the plane all right while using my cane. I boarded first. So considerate! The flight was smooth, and right on time.
I paid for WiFi but it never really worked. That was frustrating.
The cabin crew was absolutely wonderful, the service was great and it was just a good flight overall.
I had entered my TSA pre number when I bought the ticket but TSA pre was not on my boarding pass. I went to find an agent at check in and there was only one agent one duty for first class and a line of people waiting for check in/baggage with no agent manning that area.
I flew Hawaiian Airlines three times during my trip. Each time, when we went to baggage claim, it took about 45 minutes to an hour to receive our luggage.
Everything was great except for one piece of our luggage was severely damaged and crushed. There were no agents available at baggage claim and the hold time on the phone was over 3 hours. So therefore we were unable to file a complaint. We will be speaking to Alaska Airlines about replacing our luggage when we check in for our return flight.
The kiosk was fast. I got in and got my baggage tag right away. There was a long lines at baggaged check in But it moved fast and checked my baggage with no problem. The flight was good. The flight attendants were very helpful, friendly and always smiling.
We were very late to take off, late exit plane, and luggage took a long time.
I took seat 15A in anticipation of window seat, there is no window.
The first class flight attendant was awful to everyone. Very rude; no customer service. She should not be working in first class.
Snacks and included beverages were appreciated. Boarding went smoothly. Plenty of overhead bin space. Seats get very uncomfortable after a couple of hours. After waiting 10 painful minutes for my walker, a very nice Delta guest agent pushed me in a wheelchair to the gate. It was finally delivered to me after another 15 minutes . Our checked bag was on the carousel long b4 I was able to retrieve it. Fortunately it was still there but somewhere along the way the straps we used to secure it were removed and and were not reattached. Wish I had made note of the agents name.
It was fine. 55 minute flight. No snacks or beverage service offered. Boarding went smoothly and my walker was waiting for me on the jet way.
Smaller plane for a longer flight than my first one. Doesn’t make sense.
The cabin temperature was nice and cool. The wifi was not working.
Flight late, the waited for a long time for “personal” to arrive at gate to dock the plane in Rochester. So annoying. This flight was expected, why aren’t personel available for the jet bridge?
As previously noted, this flight was great: departure was timely, the crew was friendly and attentive, and wifi connectivity was seamless. In particular, I appreciated that the flight attendant just told me to stow the laptop right before takeoff/landing, and trusted me to do so (which I did!).
Kayak botched up the booking, i had to call delta and fix. In the process Delta failed to honor my comfort plus seat assignment that i had previously.
Entertainment is ok! Boarding and seat with zone is terrible. I paid for the seats but you didn’t give me what I paid for which is exit isles.
The crew were exceptionally nice and accommodating. My wife was tired after the flight from Haneda, Tokyo. They let her sleep and served her dinner later after she woke up, before we landed in PDX.
Horrible food and crew. Crew were laughing and talking loud while people were trying to sleep
I liked the Starlink WiFi but didn't like how they said they were the only airline to offer a free meal and it turns out to be just a standalone sandwich and then charge for snacks to go with it. Rather have the free snacks like Southwest, but have the option to purchase a decent meal for a 5+ hour flight.
Canceled my flight within 24 hours, causing me arriving home midnight. Will never book Hawaiian airlines anymore
I always love flying Hawaii and I have nothing to add
Flying with Hawaiian Airlines is a treat! They have the best crew, food and drinks! I’ve always enjoyed flying with Hawaiian Airlines and will continue to use them!
We decided to take our mom on vacation but we were worried how well she will do on the flight, she's a senior and required special accommodations such as transport chair since she can't stand for long periods. To our surprise my whole family was given priority boarding, my mom was given chair, we were not standing in line and were given seats in good area next to our mom. A+ experience!
Love you guys are so friendly and kind and wonderful
Ok but why they need to sell the ear buds?
Our flight was delayed, which I know things can happen. The bathrooms were dirty and a mess. It took over an hour to get our bags after the plane landed. Every flight was on the same 2 baggage claims. You would thing if we spent over 5 hours on a flight we would get more then a tiny bag of pretzels. The movie and tv choices were mid.
Flights were on time. Free Wifi on plane. Everything was well organized.
During landing. 2 crew members passed 3 times by my lane and didn't notice that people in front of us had their site to the furthermore reclined... That was uncomfortable and could have been dangerous.
They delayed the flight from 9:00 to 11:55 At 11:45 they canceled the flight. I paid a premium price for the tickets with poor service
We had excellent customer service despite the chaos at George Bush airport in Houston!
It isvvery small flight. No leg room . No space to put my personal item at feet.
I will never fly ANA again. They lost one of my large pieces of checked luggage, the heaviest one with the most valuable items in it, and they said they will not send me an email unless they can't find it, even though the paper they gave me to track the status of my lost luggage requires a code from an email they are supposed to send me so I can do baggage tracing. They claim to be an international airline, but they also insist on calling a Japanese telephone number to confirm where to send the lost baggage if they find it. It is impossible to find an actual contact email address for customer support on their website, and their AI chatbot is unhelpful, directing you to a webpage that says it is for contact information but does not have any actual email addresses or phone numbers listed on it. My seat in economy did not recline at all, even though I was not sitting in an exit row nor the very back row. I had to sit in the fully upright position for over ten hours of international travel. Awful experience overall.
My flight was canceled a few hours before boarding. I was rebooked on Copa airlines and missed an important meeting .
Good quick flight on a small but comfortable plane. I'm 6'3 and had plenty of space.
Experience was great - no complaints. Took off on time, landed early. Got to the gate relatively quickly - took a little bit of extra time to deplane but nothing excessive.
Economy plus was so cramped I could not use my laptop. It was beyond bad.
