Pros: "The first leg had awesome pasta.Then, on the 2nd leg, Philly to Denver, they had a "pay for meal" option for turkey with Chutney sandwich - again, delicious. I should add that the service was very good as well."

Pros: "Staff was great!"
Cons: "Seats were really uncomfortable up and reclined. Overhead baggage was full by the time I boarded and there was no enforcement of the carry-on baggage sizes... This needs to be addressed and contributed to our lack of comfort, noting this was the last leg of an 18 hour journey. My body still hurts today after a good nights sleep."

Pros: "Wonderful, again. Will fly American any chance I get!"

Pros: "The onboard entertainment selection was excellent; great movie selection, wifi connection, and flight details. A winner! So much so that I chose to binge watch movies and not sleep!!"

Cons: "Watched a very weird interaction between Muslim (with a hajib) women with a kiddo and desk crew. She wanted to sit next to her child on the flight and needed to switch seats to be able to. Woman was very gracious and understanding that she was asking for an accommodation. Ends up her flight to Philly had been moved to a different gate after they had found a volunteer to switch seats. Volunteer was totally unfazed but Desk crew made it seem as tho the Muslim mom was at fault for the time and trouble they had had to go through to accommodate her. She apologized profusely and was very appreciative for the trouble evernote had gone to for her. . As she walked away the crew looked at each other and shook their heads. Pretty crummy way to treat customers!"

Cons: "Good service to switch flight pattern from greenville to new bern but still a delay that cause a 2 flight connection. Lots of on-line issues with check-in, overall a stressful day, hopefully it will all work out!"

Cons: "I can't rate it because they canceled my entire itinerary without so much as an email. I did not take my flight to Wilmington via my original flight. I had to book another flight because the change fees were too expensive. I did not know that my return flight to Denver had been canceled until I was checking in a few hours before my flight. I was told my ticket had no value. Awesome! It really stings that I then had to book a new return flight, and because I am a teacher who makes about $23,000 a year, I had to book the cheapest flight, which was with American. I do not plan on giving them any of my hard-earned money in the future if I can help it."

Pros: "More improved than the last trip I took with AA to Denver. Efficient boarding."

Cons: "Three planes with "maintenance" issues and not able to fly? Including flights that weren't ours. Boarding, re-boarding, leaving four hours late and waiting an hour for bags in Denver."

Cons: "The flight was 3 hrs late, of which 1.5 before boarding, and almost 1.5 stuck in the plane."

Cons: "We sat on the runway for 3.5 hours while the crew cleaned up a fuel spill and we waited for a different co-pilot."

Pros: "I fly this route with American pretty often. The cabin crew was good. Everything else seemed sub par."
Cons: "Our take off was delayed, officially due to fueling the plane, but if the plane wasn't fueled ahead of time, someone failed to do their job properly. Also, while I'm starting to think that A320s just suck mechanically for landing (they always seem to land harder than a 737), this one seemed a little extra rough."

Pros: "We were able to get to Denver"
Cons: "Jammed in like sardines, rude flight staff, extremely hot aircraft for November"

Cons: "Unexplained delay in leaving but only arrived about 10 min later than scheduled. Took an hour from pulling into the gate for bags to arrive though which caused me to miss my shuttle. Never had to wait more than 15 min for any other airline at DIA."

Cons: "They did not check the toilets before we left so we were diverted to St. Louis and I arrived in charlotte 3 hours late"

Pros: "Flight not entirely sold out. So they let my 14 month grandson have an empty seat between my daughter and I. That was a great gift since he doesn't sleep and is jumping and crawling all over the place. And I'm sure the other passengers were breathing sighs of relief!! Also super smooth landing and nice flight attendants."
Cons: "Flying with an active 14 month old toddler boy and of his "stuff" is nothing less than anxiety provoking. Not much the airline can do.."

Pros: "The departure time. This left enough time to get to the airport and go through security without rushing!"
Cons: "Sitting in the middle Paying for luggage ( I wish Southwest flew out of ORD)"

Cons: "Had to board three times, two different planes. I understand mechanical problems, but 3 hours later, and on another plane, the captain starts making stuff up, saying that the only reason we hadn't moved in the last hour was because people were using the bathroom, then something about having to deplane because the plane couldn't back up with us on it because of some sensor? And then, surprise ! All of the sudden they noticed there was an issue with his and some of the crews' hours and we had to wait till they could locate more crew. But they gave us each a 1/3 glass of water and later a $12 food voucher which didn't even cover a meal and beverage. Whoop-de-do. 7 hours later we finally boarded for the third and last time. The crew on the other hand stayed professional and friendly."

Cons: "When your on your honeymoon it sure would be nice to have a seat next to my husband like we requested."

Cons: "Seats too small and the gentleman next to me was a big guy so crowded over into my seat some."

Pros: "American Airlines is my favorite Airlines to fly. There is a little more leg room and the seats are a little wider. The staff is very professional and courteous."

Cons: "The customer service from AA representitives in the airport was completely unnacceptable and the absolute worst service I have recieved in an airport to date! One incident during this trip was as follows: When arriving in Charlotte and running to catch my connecting flight, I arrived as the lady at the desk was closing the door, she looked at me and rolled her eyes. When I went up to the desk along with the other passengers arriving from the same flight as me the AA representative said "Hurry up , I want to go home!! At a point I'm just going to cut you off and that will be it!" She was of no help to me in anyway amd was forced tonstay the night in charlotte ; Normally this would not have been such a big deal, However I am on emergency leave from the Navy rushing home because I have a very serious family emergency, that representitive was very lucky I held my temper! From now on thanks to the poor unproffessional customer service I received I will no longer be flying American Airlines!"

Cons: "The first leg of the flight out of Huntington was 4 hours late as the flight was cancelled due to one of the crew members not showing up. It was a very uncomfortable delay. They stated that one of the crew was sick. There was no notice about the delayed flight."

Cons: "Everything. The flight was delayed greatly even though the plane got to Chicago only slightly late. Then they make us board and just sit in the plane for an hour. Then finally we start moving, the plane is uncomfortably hot even with the air blowing on me, the flight attendants look like they hate their life, it was honestly horrible and I will never fly with American Airlines EVER again."

Cons: "I did not like the fact that American Airlines cancelled my 17 Yr old neice's flight from Dallas to Denver over a thing called "timed-out". And had her sleep in a room with a cott instead of a hotel room. And the fact that we as customers pay good money for tickets only to be subject to the airlines way of business. It is absolutely unacceptable!"

Cons: "1st flight delayed. No information as to why, no communication. Plane was very very old, tiny & nasty. Just an overall mess. Plane set on runway at connecting flight - long enough to miss that flight. Fortunately, it was Delayed as well (go figure). Once inside airport, the boarding Gate was changed with absolutely NO Notice!! Flights are WAY overpriced - ESP for NO direct flights. Hopefully never have to use AA again."

Pros: "The flight staff was efficient boarding people and were pleasant despite the close quarters, full plane and bumpy turbulence."
Cons: "The boarding crew woman was completely and unnecessarily rude. I have a small purse I had gotten out of my backpack to get my boarding pass that she insisted I put back in my backpack before loading. I understand the concept and reason for the request but the manner in which she did it was so uncalled for. I don't recal a time in which I've been spoken to in that manner in a very long time. While I was doing it (it took literally 5 seconds), she was screaming at me to walk over to the side and lose my place in line. After I quickly put it in she screams it must go in all the way, which it was. There wasn't even a bulge from it and it closed with ease. I'd be happy to provide a picture of my small backpack/purse."

Cons: "I was dissappointed in the additional baggage fees for checked bags and then have to watch people fight for carry-on baggage space. Ridiculous situation airlines have created. Plus flight was delayed because of mechanical problems coming back. But in flight was comfortable and well done."

Pros: "Absolutely nothing about them. By far worst experience ever."
Cons: "The staff talked to me in a condescending voice. First flight I called the airlines and asked simple questions on what time we should be there and the process. Then we get there by said time and they said she missed her flight. Keep in mind I have a one hour each way drive to lax. Came the next day 3 hours early to stay in the line 3.5 hours and the line was short! They let people cut us left and right and the staff was rude on the phone and there. I lost ANOTHER work day dealing with them. They said she was on standby for next flight 3 hours later only to get to the gate and they said they NEVER EVEN PUT HER ON THE LIST. then she got put on the next flight 3 hours later to get told it was a full flight and so she waited another 3 hour flight and finally got on... on top of the stress I went through, the work I missed out on, the drive and gas it took to get there, her first day of her Job was the next day after that mayhem! It was absolute chaos. I can honestly say I hate that American airlines and I don't think it's right. The person next to us also had a horrible experience with them in the line next to us. She missed her best friends wedding due to three disorganization and horrible service.... SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A BRIDESMAID!!! I wrote the company.... but I expect no return or respect from them if I can't even get that from their condescending customer service "manager" ABSOLUTE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!"
