Cons: "It was full, Ben if Lufthansa said on their website that they keep physical distance for passangers! Liars!"

Cons: "Connections booked together need more time for larger airports. I had over an hour connection on paper and had to run through the entire airport to even catch my flight. My mother on a separate flight arrived ten minutes before her flight took off even though booking stated a full hour. Also the quality and cleanliness of the plane needs improvement. Lufthansa is normally amazing quality but both flights today were subpar. Bathroom smelled of urine, old and dirty seats with no support. Dirty hand rests and outdated screens which skipped with movies"

Cons: "You, Kayak, sold me economy tickets. When I checked in online I saw it for the first time that our tickets were Economy Light. So even though we are Frequent Flyers, we payed $220 for three checkin luggages. I intend to dispute this case."

Cons: "I din't like the fact that Lufhtansa company uses double standards for the countries where they have their flights. From USA, San Jose, Ca, to Frankfurt, Germany everything was good (flight on 08/31/2018 - 09/01/2018). They have been very profesional, beganing wih the boarding time untill the arrival in Frankfurt. The flight to Romania was a different story. They haven't been very professional at all. The flight had a delay and nobody said a word. It was just a clerck there who didn't tell to the Lufthansa passengers for a while anything about our delay. So, finally, he said after 15-20 minutes that our fligt will be later, 20 minutes, than the scheduled time on our tickets. They seemed do not care too much about the Romanian passengers."

Both luggages are missing. -made the complainment, now we are waiting to show up in Romania and to be delivered at home. -went to pick up the rental car, because of the plane delay, they gave our car away. -after trying several companies, we found a car, 3 times more expensive, but we have a car....yeeyy"

Pros: "They are prompt and very fast at loading and unloading. Quite a bit better than any other airline I have used. Leg room on small airplanes was good in economy, but not as good on larger jet to USA. The servers offered me ice in my water bc I am American. I appreciated that so much since I'd spent the last 12 days in Europe where no one serves with ice!"

Should not have to ask again when i have been assured the problem will be handled by an attendant."

Cons: "I was traveling with my daughter. There was no food choice left for my child and me. Crew member rudely said there is only beef option left do you want to have it? I said no. I asked her are we not going to get anything to eat since you are out of options. She continuously kept on repeating that I said no and that she kept emphasizing that there is only beef option left. Finally she save the supplement To meal. Her tone was very impolite when especially we pay so much and service we get for a long flight is good"
Cons: "The connecting flight to Bremen from Munich was missed due to delayed flying from Munich. Then we had a reconnecting flight and 15 minutes prior to boarding it was cancelled. No more flights to Bremen so we then were redirected to a flight to Hamburg. We had to fly from Munich to Vienna and then from Vienna to Hamburg. The flight from Munich to Vienna was delayed by 40 minutes which made us lose the connecting flight. We had to wait until the next morning for a flight to Hamburg, where as we arrived our luggage was lost. The staff ensured us that our connecting flights were waiting for us, however the flights had left 20 minutes prior to our arrival. The staff was nice but the communication was poor."

Cons: "First time took Lufthansa airlines and it was my one of the worst experience. Hospitality is respected when customer is helped when they are in trouble not when they is happily boarded. I have to travel from Milan to San Francisco and I missed flight of my one leg ( milan to frankfurt) of journeyand I went for help and non of the Lufthansa staff at Milan airport helped me. Although my connecting flight was after 12hr they just gave me some random number which to call. I have never experience this in my 8yr of international travel."

Pros: "The plane was parked away from the gate. We boarded the service bus to get there 20 minutes before departure time. But it took more than 20 minutes while mid way waiting for clearance to leave for the plane. The service bus did not turn on the AC while we waited even though we complained. We were suffocating. There was no entertainment on the plane."

In the past, complimentary upgrades were done frequently. nowadays it doesn't happen anymore. For someone who is flying approximately 30 times per year with star alliance, this is dissatisfying. I also don't understand why my preferences from my profile are not used in the pre-allocation of my seat."

Announcements were to difficult to understand. Also in the gate area, I couldn't understand names at all. Need to slow down and speak more clearly."

Cons: "The flight was delayed due to a missing officer. Because of this, I missed my flight from Chicago to Narita Japan. I had to cancel the hotel in Japan and pay $120 cancellation fee. The customer service changed my flight to go to Dallas/Fort Worth TX then fly to Narita Japan next day. They gave me vouchers for hotel stay and meal ($12) which are absolutely minimal compensation after all this headaches. They were unable to upgrade my seat since they’re full. Now the flight to Narita is 2 hour delay and they have changed the gate at least twice. I’m worried if I can get on the next connecting flight to Sapporo due to this delayed schedule. I feel like this whole trip is ruined because the delayed flight from Philadelphia to Chicago. This has been my worst and the most ridiculous flight experience ever. I don’t think I ever want to fly with American Airlines in the future."

They kept us inside the plane for two hours. Because of that delay I missed my connection."

And, the surly, clueless Chicago-based gate agent was the coupe de grace in my search for a reasonable explanation after which I waited impatiently for this episode to conclude. American get your act together."

Cons: "United. September 14 Newark to Delhi Premium Economy Entertainment screen didn't work for 1st hour of the flight. the movie list was mediocre at best. The screen was smeared with some substance. The list of movies on the United entertainment app is great (via internet) but connectivity on this type of flight is spotty so the traveler is forced back to the antique screen plane system. Dinner. Butter chicken or vegetable options. Food was bland and very small portions for the length of flight. The snack was delivered immediately after dinner was picked up. I did not open it. Looked like a hard roll with something on it. Style of service is abrupt, bordering on rude. Uses terminology that non-US travelers from different cultures would not understand, for instance do you want "white" coffee. Asked me if I had someone at home to pick up after me as she felt she was cleaning too much off the floor. Her comments appeared to be directed at me but it was not my trash (and even if it was, a better approach would be recommended). The flight attendant realized she had gone too far and apologized. Then complained about this "route" being difficult, with no one listening. She concluded by wishing me a good flight and saying that she hoped that she had not offended me. I assured her that she had. Breakfast was mediocre. Egg with soggy potatoes and an inedible sausage. Did not see what they were offering in the veggie dish. Staff seems tired and not culturally sensitive. There needs to be some retraining and consideration given to long haul menus and entertainment. I take this flight at least once a year. It continues to deteriorate."

Cons: "Original flight booked was for 1:30. Week before changes to 5:30. Then 6:30. Arrive at the airport and flights delayed to 7. Then 730. 8. 830 etc etc etc til 11. No explanation. No food tickets. Rude responses like this gem: pointed out how long I was waiting with no word --> told by a united employee that he's been there since 7am. I point out he's bad to be there. He says he's not. I guess a united volunteer then? Then only handed out water since 'it's a short flight'. Useless."

Pros: "I know it's not the crews fault for the delay, but everything was just truly horrendous. I was a little hesitant to fly United after their scandal, but now I know that I should not have. After a 2+ hour delay, I had to pay $60 at the gate to check a CARRY-ON that I had already asked about at the baggage drop at the beginning of that dreadful day. They assured me that it would be no problem, and foolish me, I actually believed them, so instead of paying $25 to check it ahead of time, I got screwed for $60. For a close to 6 hour flight, a meal should be provided. Entertainment was free because of the fiasco, but normally it's $7.99 which is ridiculous. Lastly, the leg room was really nonexistent. Truly the worst experience I've ever had flying, and I've flown plenty of airlines, both domestic and international. I definitely think my return trip back to Jersey will be my last time flying United."

Pros: "The flight itself was fine. Check in at the airport with United was terrible. The United agent on duty (Sandra Mcelroy) was rude, slow to process us, extremely inattentive. She either didn't know how to or was unwilling to verify our infant in arms' ticket, check our baggage, or receive a cash payment for our checked bags after she sent us to the kiosk for a third time. She never greeted us and only addressed us when absolutely necessary but had plenty of time to talk with her coworkers. It took nearly an hour for her to process our check in. She actually made another customer cry."

Cons: "We were connecting to this flight after flying in from Rome. Initially we were scheduled for an 8:30pm flight, but after landing early asked if we could change to an earlier flight. They graciously bumped us up to a 7:30pm flight, which trimmed our 4-hour layover down to 3pm. Cut to 6:15pm...we find out that the flight is not delayed AN HOUR due to a "late inbound flight." Long story short, the 7:30pm flight ended up departed later than the 8:30pm flight we were originally scheduled on so we didn't get to LA until after we were originally supposed to!!"

Cons: "This connection was delayed without adequate notice which caused me to get stuck in Chicago for a night and book all new flights for the next day. According to the information I received from the attendants at the gate, maintenance knew the airplane had issues but no communication until the flight began to get delayed was given. I had an adequate layover (3+ hours) so I didn't worry until it eroded away to the point where I could not make my connection."

Cons: "Received a message that the flight was delayed about an hour and a half before it was originally scheduled to take off. Fifteen minutes later received another message saying the flight was back on schedule. Ten minutes later received yet another message that the flight was delayed 2 hours. Having such late and inconsistent flight information really cut into my schedule, prevented me from spending more time with family, and caused me to sit unnecessarily in an airport where all shops/restaurants were closed so I couldn't even get dinner."

Cons: "I did not like being squeezed like a sardine into a narrow, uncomfortable seat. Quit adding rows and making leg room smaller and elbow room smaller so the airline can make another dollar."
Pros: "Instead of a 4 hour layover in Denver, I was easily able to get on an earlier flight to slc thank you to such a wonderful front desk agent. Even the crew members on board were so pleasant you could tell they truly enjoy their job and want to make for an enjoyable flight. Thank you United!! Will be flying with you again!!"
Pros: "I liked that I made it to my destination in time and didn't miss connecting flight."
Cons: "What I didn't like it that I almost missed my connecting flight, and TSA decided to pick out my package for inspection and stole important items out of it. I am filing a claim"

Pros: "Very unhappy employees. I work at Nordstrom so maybe my expectations are a bit high when it comes to customer service, but if I owned united airlines I would be ashamed of the way United employees treat people. I paid an extra 300 than I had to to get to Hartford Connecticut at the time I chose when purchasing the ticket. Every plane was delayed. EVERY FLIGHT by at least an hour. I missed my connections and was rebooked twice. the average joe customer service lines were ridiculous with the separate priority line having first dibs. The first customer service man I met with was helpful and kind. With the exception of that man and one flight attendant on my trip back to Portland, every employee was indifferent, condescending and in some cases, actually mean. I say that seriously! (I can't believe it either). I am not a difficult person to get along with and I never showed upset despite the many mishaps I encountered on this trip. Customer service is so important and could have made up for the obvious poor planning and lack of communication by which united airlines functions. Unfortunately, I would rather fly any other airline if given the choice after this trip. Even spirit (and let me tell you, I've only flown spirit once and there is a good reason for that). So disappointing. I am upset over my experience and again, will avoid this airline at all costs in the future whenever possible."

Cons: "As usual, there were extensive delays. This time it was due to a plane change initially because there was a maintenance issue. Then, we had to walk across the airport to board our other plane at a gate on the other side. Then we had to wait for the crew to arrive before we could board. It wasn't until we finally were able to board that they discovered a maintenance issue on the second plane, so we sat on the tarmac in stifling heat due to the engine not being on for an hour and a half while they worked on the plane. We didn't take off until about 11:40 central time and arrive home until 1:30 AM eastern time instead of the scheduled 11:38 PM arrival time."
