Pros: "Was my children’s first flight and they have them high fives at boarding and let them check out the pilot cabin. My kids were over the moon excited"

Cons: "I booked this flight from Kayak with check in luggage, then when I was in the airport I paid 60 dollars for mu check in luggages... why?"

Pros: "Staff were all fabulous and who doesn't love free drinks?"
Cons: "30$ per bag made us reconsider/repack everything, lug around heavy carry on (which we measured in their box), only to have to check it anyway as told to MANY "this size doesn't fit this particular plane." Ot was a pain to pick up in pouring rain & made some miss connecting flights."

There were also people watching movies without headphones on a red eye and there weren't any crew asking them to wear headphones since people were trying to sleep."

Headrests on window seats in the exit row don't move. No free in-flight entertainment. Since there's relatively no equipment cost to airline to allow streaming to personal devices, this is pretty disappointing."

Cons: "Flight into Seattle delayed, flight out of Seattle to Minneapolis delayed flights out of Minneapolis to Bismarck delayed. Ran from gate F to gate c24 arrived at 10:23 p.m. Slight to the park at 10:25 p.m. and they closed the door on me as I was running up there. Ran across the entire terminal to get there and they would not let me on. Last Flight of the night to Bismarck. Missed my uncle's 90th birthday party. Would not give me food voucher. Delta gate agent told me she would lose her job if she did not close the doors 8 minutes prior. However the Minneapolis flight waited for 15 minutes for people to board that plane. How does that compute? Why would they not wait 3 minutes for me rather than pay the money to put me up in a hotel?"

This is too much action for people who are trying to get some sleep. Also, abrupt and hard landing."

Cons: "Long Delays, Over Booked Flights, Customer Service is not helpful, Wrong info delivered by Customer Service, No boarding gate info, Luggage was damaged, and I was charged a large premium with no added value. Delta sold me a 1st class flight because of their delays and overbooking their flights. This was because they could not fulfill the ticket I had. This was Delta's solution to their problem caused by them. I still have no idea why the flights were delayed. On top of all this, I overheard a walk-on pilot ask if there was room for him to catch a lift home. The flight attendant responded with "absolutely this flight is not full at all, you can sit right here". Wait I had to pay 200 bucks extra for an overbooked flight and you are having your Delta representatives say different. This was my first and last trip with Delta. I spent 1000 dollars for round trip ticket from Seattle to Spokane WA. No way is that OK or acceptable under any circumstances to treat your customers like this. The best part about all of this is, I have sent feedback and called customer service to talk to a manager to hear the blame put on back on me. Perception is reality Delta. Awful service, awful prices, awful care, awful communication, and awful value for the money."

Cons: "We sat on the tarmac when we landed for 20 mins for a reason not really made clear. The captain said that the alley was blocked but didn’t really keep us informed other wise."

Cons: "This plane has not been updated since before I was born. The seats were extremely uncomfortable and there was no in seat entertainment, just overhead screens. I was never able to get the WiFi to work. There were no power outlets, and we were never offered headphones, eye masks or ear plugs. I expected more from American since our 2hr flight from Orlando to JFK had working WiFi, power outlets and in-seat video monitors."

So my bag couldn't be checked through, and they wanted to charge me for it even though it was a connection to the international flight I had just taken. A truly dreadful experience."

We also fad to wait about 45 minutes before we parked at the gate. I suppose the bad weather was to blame but it was very uncomfortable and would have appreciated better communication from the flight crew."

Cons: "The desk people were aggressively unhelpful when I asked for advice on getting a jacket back that I had left my previous flight (less than an hour earlier). They treated me with derision and ridicule because my previous flight was with a different airline, an airline that is closely enough associated with American that they booked me on an American flight. It should have been possible to at least talk to someone that could address my situation but now I'm stuck with the likely loss of something important to me and a strong dislike of American airlines. I'm probably just salty because it happened yesterday though. I'll get over the jacket eventually and probably fly with American again. But I will always resent them."

Pros: "On this flight back to Arizona they arrayed mutt husband and I together, unlike on our way to Spokane. That was much better. We had more leg room this time."
Cons: "The seats are hard, fine for young people, but difficult for older people with arthritis and Auto immune diseases, such as fibromyalgia."

Cons: "Staff at the check-in counter made fun of my surname. Bad start but not noteworthy unless combined with the rest of the experience. The flight was delayed causing me to miss another AA connection by minutes. Waited in line to be told I wouldn't get on a flight til the following day, they couldn't help with accommodation and I wouldn't receive my luggage until the following day. In short, AA left me stranded in a strange city at midnight with no accommodation and no luggage. It was 18 degrees and I was in t-shirt and shorts. What a memory."

The only major issue I had was once I arrived in Honolulu my luggage was damaged. I should’ve filed a claim while at the airport at the time but didn’t realize it until I got to the hotel."

Too many announcements - and I don't like it when they play movie trailers, commercials, etc. over the sound system. The food was horrific. I wish American Airlines would charge $20 more per ticket and provide some reasonable food. Everything just screamed LOW QUALITY. Lucky I had brought a sandwich and some snacks with me on board. The food was so bad that I didn't even touch it. They should just eliminate the food completely and tell people to bring their own on board."

Cons: "Delayed 5.5 hours at LAX. Boarded on time, waited at gate for 1.5 hours and then had to get off. During our delay waiting for a 1st Officer, the Captain times out. NO BACKUP CAPTAINS or 1st OFFICERS AT LAX? Then miraculously during our 3rd hour waiting for a Captain they discovered the 1st Officer was going to time out. So, rather than KNOW this while searching for a Captain, they waited for 3 hours and then had to find a 1st Officer to fill in. Result 2.5 more hours of delay. Even the Flight crew was in disbelief on this one. I think we should all get reimbursed and triple miles for this snafu. Not weather or mechanical - just poorly managed time -- BY A MAJOR AIRLINE - INEXCUSABLE!"

Cons: "The personnel handling the front desk at check in gave myself and others bad information about how to check a bag. Which resulted in me being called to the desk at the gate about 30 minutes prior to boarding and being told I screwed up checking my bag when I was just following the instructions given to me. Was then told I had to leave the secure area of the airport, go back to the front to check my bag all within 30 minutes of boarding. when I returned thru the TSA checkpoint they were rude, obviously, but more importantly the flight was boarding early. So you could've 1. told me what the actual procedure is for checking my bag instead of telling me "just leave it by the green lit up check mark then 2. told me at the gate that not only do i need to go fix your mistakes for you but that youd also board my flight early thereby putting me in jeopardy of missing my flight. all i got was a very insincere apology when I complained up front and at the gate about the airline's screw up. i get that you're all human like me and make mistakes but the customer is always right. there was a time in this country when customer appreciation and service were important standards and qualities businesses thrived on. Don't know what happened to those days... Also i should not need to be a first class passenger to get a meal during a flight. whatever happened to meals for everyone? you (all airlines in the US) charge way too much money and provide poor service compared to pre-9-11 days. I dont see how one event can justify the loss in service but the increase in ticket price. you should all get back to what flying should be about: fun and time saving."

Cons: "LONG LINES to check in, LONG LINES for customs. Once we got through customs we could not get to the stores or restaurants, so LONG LINE to get a bottle of water. Plane late boarding, so a dash to get to next plane at Philadelphia."

Cons: "Not once but twice we boarded, sat on the plane for an hour and then were asked to deplane due to mechanical issues. It's understandable for one plane to have problems, but absurd to have issues again with the second plane. After all this, our flight was delayed until the early hours of the morning, leaving many passengers to sleep in the airport. It was uncomfortable, disappointing, frustrating, and the crew seemed very unsympathetic."

Cons: "The bathroom on the flight from Denver to Santa Barbara was the WORST EVER! I doubt it has ever been cleaned and the poor people that had seats near or at the rear of the plane should have been refunded their money having been subjected to the smell of an “indoor outhouse!” Shameful!!"

Pros: "The range of 'free' food and beverages (including beer, wine, and liquor was phenomenal, and the functionality of the 777 touch-screen was outstanding. Seating was also more comfortable than comparable flights on AA."

Pros: "The crew were friendly & efficient, the flights were on time, & the gate staff kept us well informed of any changes."

Pros: "Very pleasant attentive crew and ground staff. An aborted takeoff on tarmac meant a return to the departure gate and the plane taken to maintenance. The ground staff were superb in dealing with a full plane load of passengers many of whom had onward connections. This meant we had to stay overnight and fly first thing the next morning. Full marks to United for dealing with a potentially dangerous situation and then assisting everyone back in the terminal."

Pros: "It’s my longest trip ever due to United"
Cons: "Poor communication between the airline and I, I don’t like the service"

Cons: "Little to no updates and wrong information when finally given. I was bumped out of my premium seat. I had to ask for refunds for the upgrade and priority seating they were not offered. And I had to ask for a meal voucher since none was offered. Alaska always has offered fist no asking needed."

Pros: "I found the reason for being late to be questionable They said heavy snow but as i flew in i looked out the window and saw all roads nicely cleared That does not happen in 3 hours"
Cons: "They did not get my liggage to the connecting flight And here i am in Ukraine with no winter clothes at 7 below 3 days later"

Cons: "Had a mechanical issue we were told didn't need fixed to fly the plane. Took 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete safety checklist so we could take off. We missed our connecting flight to Cancun."

Cons: "Flight was delayed. Super small aircraft so suitcases didn't fit. Didn't have food options, just pretzels."

Pros: "People were courteous as expected but as usual the 1st class took precedence. Big deal they pay extra for what, not to eat 1 ounce snack foods and cans of soda."
Cons: "The room and the food was horrible. Seems like every time I take a flight people get stuffed into planes like sardines. Also the food selection was nonexistent. There was not enough qty for each person on the flight and the food choices are subpar and very expensive. If u ask me with the exorbant cost of flight to include now the cost to bring luggage is horrible. What happened to the days when airlines actually cared for their customers. I guess those days are long gone. I have been in he military over 17 years and not once have I received a courtesy upgrade to 1st class and I have flew over the world. Guess it's all about the money. And have to pay for entertainment....go figure and why isn't there outlets on every seta in every row. Is that too much to ask!"

Cons: "The flight from Chicago to Fairbanks was a little better, but when it came time for me to use the restroom, the flight attendant was quite rude. I explained I had been waiting for the past 2 hours but she didn't seem to care. The seats were terribly uncomfortable."

Cons: "Zero regard for customer service. I will never fly United Airlines again, I may never use Kayak again either. This was the worst travel experience of my entire life."

Cons: "Was told at check in that my flight was delayed and would not make my destination today. When I asked if there was another flight I could get on, they told me the upgrade would be over $1000, and that it wasn't their problem. Rudest customer service I think I have ever dealt with! I won't ever fly united again!"

Cons: "I had ordered ginger rail and the lady brought me a Diet Coke I told her I don't like Diet Coke because I don't drink Coke and she said I thought that's what you want it now you have to hold onto it until they come back and pick up the trash and she never brought me the ginger rail to drink she walked away and I never drank nothing on the flight back to Little Rock that lady was so rude"

Cons: "That a bunch of travelers including myself missed our connecting flight in Chicago after united chamged our arrival gate but didn't have any crew to man the jet way. We sat for 20 mins right in front of our gate. From 1 pm to 10 on my flight to Asheville from Chicago was delayed many many times waiting for our airplane to arrive. Upsetting that we missed our connection due to United's poor planning, they didn't hold our connecting flight for us but we had to wait all night for other flights."

Cons: "I was flying from Pittsburgh to Chicago to Fairbanks. My flight from Pittsburgh was delayed. My connecting flight from Chicago to Fairbanks was in the very next gate. But as I exited my first flight, my connecting flight pulled away from the gate. I was extremely disappointed."

Cons: "That u load the plane assistance backard,loading goes much faster if you start @the back of the plane,& myself I carry only a shoulder bag only ,all the time. U put me @ the back of the plane 90% of the time which means I have to wait for the people that are moving their whole house,making me miss my schedule, I have to spend night @ airport for next schedule."

Pros: "I arrived on time."
Cons: "Flight was ok. I was disturbed by the rudeness of flight attendant toward a service dog. This dog was the owners eyes and she seemed disgusted it was there. We had to let her know in front of other passengers so she would be put on the spot and change her attitude."

Pros: "Luckily the crew on this flight was friendly and courteous, unlike United flights I had 2 months ago, because everything else was pretty horrible."
Cons: "First, we were delayed over 2 hours for maintenance problems. Second the plane was cramped and the seats were hard as park benches. Third, this flight had zero entertainment options although they advertised for it in the seat back propaganda. Fourth, the cabin noise from the engines, once they got them started, was so loud that even my noise canceling headphones could not prevent me from getting a headache. At least we got there safely, eventually."

Pros: "Not a single thing!"
Cons: "I almost missed my flight, because at check in they were only helping Premier passengers. Forced to wait for 45 minutes. All I wanted to do was check a bag! When I finally got to the counter, the customer service agent was extremely rude, slow and frustrated. I had to run from check in to security and only made it to the plane with seconds to go."
