Gate agent mumbled announcements regarding boarding. This task should be assigned to someone with clear diction. Really hard to understand. We flew first class, and there was not anything first-class about it except the seats. Cheap snacks offered, nothing resembling food, and one pass-through for drink requests on an almost 2 hour flight. Flight attendants seemed tired in this early afternoon. First-class service has really gone downhill with Delta. Hardly worth the extra expense anymore.
Pros: "The crew was nice."
Cons: "Really felt happy on time touch down nice journey with delta"
Pros: "Good crew, on time flight and departure."
Cons: "sat on the tarmac for 3 hours because the pilot was late."
Cons: "The check process was ridiculous. There not enough room in the box for me to explain my experience but the ticket agent lied to me, said he couldn't take my bag until I got a paper receipt and boarding pass from a kiosk despite having had pre-paid for my bag and digital boarding pass. 25 mins wasted"
Pros: "The crew was great. Honestly, they remembered my face and greeted me when I saw them that night in the hotel."
Cons: "I can't think of anything. I had great service on the ground and in the air. All the personnel were kind and helpful."
Pros: "The crew was amazing! The seat was comfortable."
Cons: "Used the self check in kiosk to begin! That was awesome! But after that I still had to stand in line to check in my bags. That part of the process took a bit longer than expected."
Pros: "Nothing special"
Cons: "That was the most uncomfortable and cramped seat I had ever had on a plane flight. Even sitting on the pillow did not help."
Pros: "I like that I arrived at my destination safely."
Cons: "My allergies were bothering me due to the airlines allowing animals to travel as passengers, in this case a rabbit. I am very allergic to animals. My breathing was compromised."
Pros: "Crew was good. It was great to be able to watch a movie, TV, or play a game to pass the time."
Cons: "More let room when someone puts back their seat."
Cons: "The flight was 2 hours delayed.. this cause a lot of inconvienece.."
Cons: "Seating poor — crowded and little leg room"
Pros: "Everything was on time and efficient. I also liked that the captain came on and updated us on arrival, turbulence, weather, etc."
Pros: "Snacks, drink, and spacious leg room in emergency exit row. Friendly and helpful crew."
Cons: "No entertainment"
Cons: "Flight was delayed out of St. Louis causing several of us to miss our connecting flight from Salt Lake City to Portland. Delta was of very little help in assisting us in making a connecting flight. They could have at least helped with travel arrangements and provided us with a little food, a pillow and a blanket as we waited in their terminal for the next flight on their airline which was a several hour wait. I understand these things happen but the passengers didn't cause the problem and Delta needs to take care of people better if they expect to earn repeat business."
Pros: "Nice crew, no delays"
Cons: "Stood by as people blocked aisle during boarding, making snide comments. Instead, the two should have assisted & encouraged the passengers to step out of the aisle & move along. Was very cold hit call light fir blanket. No response for 10 min so went to the bs k of plane where the crew was chatting & eating. When I asked about blanket, they didn’t look fir any & said they didn’t have any unopened. Upon leaving big plane, I saw a stack of about 5 packaged blankets in the front. Just rude & lazy older crew. Time for a different job fir them"
Cons: "Ac not working at last 30 minutes of flight."
Cons: "We lost our whole vacation and had to pay for the plans fare twice because My last name was spelled wrong on our tickets and we were unable to use them because my passport didn’t match the name on the ticket. We had to rebook everything pay almost twice as much for the plane fare, our Lodi g cost more and our trip was delayed for two weeks. Vyama is blaming us for spelling our name wrong and claimes that it’s our fault this happened because everything is automated. There saying they don’t touch anything that we enter into the booking but somehow everything they claim we entered is now in all capital letters and the space between our first name and middle name is now gone and all run together. The coustomer service number gets you to someone in India. I have tried to get this addressed four times now at first they tried to place the responsibility on the airlines now us and they have hung up on me twice. Kayak has been worthless, they also just pass the responsibility on to someone else. We will never use them again ant I intend to make sure that this mess is put out in social media to hopefully keep others from having their travel plans ruined by their flawed system."
Cons: "They changed my flight to a different one departing 2 hours earlier and did not notify me! The original flight was still available & they would not let me take it despite my reservation paper work. CRAZY! I have a two hour drive to the airport this gave me the option to leave home at 2:30am or go the night before and pay for a hotel. Flight was managed by DELTA who also did not care! All involved blamed each other. Beware"
Pros: "Direct flight, on time, friendly crew, smooth flight"
Pros: "Very friendly crew"
Cons: "Seatbelts very short given ample seat size"
Pros: "Everything from the check-in to the landing was great. We were well informed about what was going on with out luggage (we were on a regional flight) and the assortment of free snacks were superb! I guess I'll be a returning customer"
Cons: "I was expecting some form of entertainment (radio, overhead monitor, etc) on the CRJ700. But it really don't take away from the experience since T-Mobile partnered with the Wi-Fi service and I received a free hour of Wi-Fi!"
Pros: "Staff was awesome."
Cons: "The plane was an older plane and just not as comfortable."
Pros: "Someone was sitting in our sit. But put us in three sit so happy . She was so nice lady"
Cons: "My flight got to New York so late!!!! I missed my international flight."
Cons: "Not great communication from gate or staff on board. Failed to provide adequate water. No ice on super warm flight. Just bad experience overall."
Pros: "Very nice entertainment and staff"
Pros: "Spacious, clean, great host and hostesses. The flight arrived at our destination 30 minutes early."
Pros: "Newer plane! Comfortable"
Cons: "Nothing just great"
Cons: "Not enough water on the flight and we landed in a parking lot and shuttled back to the airport."
Cons: "Not having a seat assignment until arriving at the gate."
Pros: "Friendly crew, on time"
Pros: "First time I've seen Delta have zone boarding areas near the gate, kinda like what Southwest does with their boarding numbers. Kinda worked, kinda still a mess. One crewmember was nice to my son at the end of the flight, offered to get him into the cockpit for a photo op."
Cons: "Very little legroom. My knees just barely fit in the aisle."
Pros: "Don't know yet. We're still waiting to leave."
Cons: "That you're asking how it was before I left."
Pros: "That we got home. Delta was apologetic but it would be nice if you didn't get stuck for hours touching and looking at the grime left by others."
Cons: "Too bad the attitude of one crew member wrecked it for her coworkers but this can happen. Sorry for Delta and pasengers. The plane was disgusting, filthy, miserable. Dirty trays for more than one in our party. The lavatory on starboard side was a wreaking urine splattered mess before the plane took off. Come on airlines. Take your profits and at least clean your crappy old planes if not replace them."
Pros: "It was a pretty comfortable flight, with lots of options for entertainment. The food they serve was fairly good and the whole crew was very helpful and kind."
Pros: "The Crew was very nice and helpful."
Cons: "The flight was delayed, but due to no fault of Delta's...it was weather. Of course, the seats are very tight and this is something that Delta has control over."
Pros: "Everything went on like clock work, with no issues at all. We got the upgraded seats - delta comfort and they are great, which they weren't so expensive but that is life now when you travel. There is a price for everything. The. Crew was very professional and engaged."
Pros: "I liked that I was able to get able to get an earlier flight!"
Cons: "I don't like that I had to pay $50 extra dollars for standby on both legs of my flight! I am a very loyal delta customer and these past times flying I feel like my favorite airline is turning into the bad airlines delay everytime, problems with the plane fare prices too high! I'm starting to think about taking my business elsewhere!"
Pros: "10 minutes early departure"
Cons: "There isn't enough seats in the gate area and sitting on the runway for 10 extra minutes we could have been early"
Pros: "It was great and very roomy I felt like a movie STAR!!!"
This is a very short flight, so there actually wasn't any food or entertainment onboard. Although the pilot had warned of turbulence, the flight actually was quite smooth, especially compared to the VERY turbulent FAT-CHI leg we had just endured.
Pros: "The crew were wonderful and understanding and good sports."
Cons: "There were problems as soon as the plane got to the gate. After the passengers got off the plane, the man at the counter came on the P.A and said it’ll be a few minutes, they’re catering the plane now from the back to the front. The flight crew still needed to get on a preform safety checks. He apologized again. Then it was 8:40, time to take off and we’re still waiting to even board. The man at the counter said again, thank you for your patience and relayed the same message, only this time the flight attendants were walking away from the gate. Around 9 some lady higher up told the man to announce that the flight crew had timed out and stand by crew was on the way to the gate, said sorry again. A little later the man says sorry, there’s a gate change. You’re going to K6 now. When we get to the new gate it’s almost 9:30pm and while we were all gathered at the gate, the flight crew that supposedly “timed out” showed up and proceeded to get on the plane. Passengers started getting mad and saying we were lied to and to just tell us the truth. Chicago PD started showing up. We finally got on the plane but it would be another 30 minutes before we moved because of issues getting our bags off the original plane. We ended up being almost 2 hours delayed."
Pros: "The place to charge the phone is easily accessible on the back of the seat in front (as opposed to underneath)."
Cons: "Did not like that I had to check my bag at the gate"
Pros: "Crew was very good."
Cons: "Seat 2L Rocked back-and-forth every time person in seat 1L moved. This was a day flight from Chicago to London so I wasn’t sleeping. I could see if you were sleeping and had to deal with all the seat movement it would not be ideal."
Pros: "Left on time and arrived early"
Cons: "Great ! Next time please confirm seats before boarding"
Cons: "The flight was delayed by over 3 hrs! As a result I missed work!"
Pros: "The tv and drinks"
Cons: "Being told why we’re delayed and then not being kept on board for so long once we arrived late"
Cons: "I was bumped off the flight due to weight restriction and moved to a flight 6 hours later, it only took me 4 hours to rent a car and drive home. I am a 210 lb 6ft tall male. I was not the reason for the plane being over weight, I was there before boarding took place they didn't ask and I didn't fly."
Cons: "Waiting for 30 minutes a Dublin to dock."
Pros: "Outbound, it was on time, plenty of legroom, plenty of good snacks, drinks and food. An enjoyable flight. Score 10.0"
Cons: "Return flight - The flight departed 4 hours late. The seating was so cramped my husband couldn't move his legs at all, never mind try to sleep. The staff members were not smart in appearance, some with long untidy hair, and did not interact with passengers except to hand out food. The food was reasonable. We disembarked feeling like wrecks. Score 2.0"
Pros: "American Airlines Crew, friendly and personable"
Cons: "Our last 6 flights have all been changed or delayed significantly. Then they loose our bags on a direct flight. Won’t fly America airlines again!"
Pros: "Easy boarding crew were friendly food was hot"
Cons: "Seating was a pain to try and get 2 seats together even though I booked it months in advance very noisy rude people couldn't sleep on a supposed overnight am exhausted"
Cons: "The flight was delayed. The food was not great. There is not a lot of space in these planes, and it was a long flight. There is no power supply."
Cons: "Three hours delay. I paid for a upgrade to first class. But because of the flight change i didn't get to keep my upgrade and I had to beg for a refund. I have had two trips in the past 5 days and all flights have been anywhere from 1 to 3 hours late. Worst experience with AA I have had in a long time."
Pros: "Nothing - the flight from Chicago to Philadelphia was delayed by about 2 hours. Luckily, was able to get the flight switched to a Chicago - London direct flight."
Cons: "The connecting flight from Philadelphia to Manchester would've been missed. So, American Airlines booked the same flight for 24 hours later. Luckily, they offered a different flight. Due to the flight changes, the prepaid ground transportation from Manchester to Leeds wasn't used. Transportation from London to Leeds had to be purchased at a much greater additional expense."
Cons: "I got tranafered to 4 different gates aand my flight was delayed for 3 hrs with no explaination and the staff didn't try to help"
Cons: "I was traveling today with my daughter, who is 6 months pregnant, my 3 1/2 & 18 month old grandsons, my husband & son-in law on an international flight from Chicago to Manchester. I was very disappointed a 757 was used for an international flight! No attempt was made by staff to accomodate our family with a extra seat for the infant, even though there were a large number of rows with empty middle seats (4 of which were directly behind them!) The 1st indication of the beginning of the NIGHTMARE was when the plane arrived in Chicago and overshot the gate, this caused almost an hour delay! (We heard our crew saying "oops" while looking out the window at the plane arriving & then again when they were discussing it would have been faster if the plane had used a different method to get to the gate again.) This was then followed by a mechanical problem with a frozen water valve, requiring us to be de-iced x2! Then we started to taxi out and again had to return because of a hydraulic problem that required repair. I think we were delayed almost 3.5 hours. The crew did bring a round of water during the onground delays, and offered free drinks later in the flight. The icing on the cake was not getting the stroller back at the gate because there were no baggage handlers. I can't tell you how much FUN that was trying to corral a toddler & 3yr old with all our carry-on bags while getting thru customs! Did I mention in our haste to get off that plane we overlooked my daughter's winter maternity coat in the overhead! May be time to switch to the Friendlier Skies of United for our UK travel!"
Pros: "Clean plane. Excellent service. On time."
Pros: "Loved having 2 empty seats next to me so I could stretch out after a very long day of travel."
Cons: "Seats are not very comfortable in any position."
Cons: "I chose a package on the cheap flights that has a left hand side for choosing number of baggage which invariably inreases fare depending on the number of baggage and i choose 2 and paid for 2 baggage but the ticket came with 1 baggage and i contacted both by phone call, email and your website but did not get any fsvourable response. Had to pay again at the airport for the extra bag. This is highly unfair."
Pros: "The entertainment was good. Lots of choices. Food was about what I would expect for airline food."
Cons: "The seats were terrible. I don't know what it was about them, but I've never had a more uncomfortable flight. My husband had leg cramps for much of the flight and couldn't get comfortable. The rest of the flight was fine, but the uncomfortable seats were a huge minus. We'll probably try to avoid 787s from now on. The window-darkening system was annoying. They darkened the windows when it was dark outside and they darkened the cabin, so we couldn't look out the window. It was dark outside--why the need to darken the windows?? My husband requests window seats so he can look out the window."
Pros: "The crew, the movies, and window seat"
Cons: "Didn't like how tight the flight was. Way too compact and 3 seats near window seats makes it so uncomfortable."
Pros: "Flight was on time."
Pros: "Staff courtesy."
Cons: "When I started this leg of my trip, I was completely exhausted having been in sitting position for almost 24 hours straight. Airline made no concessions for travelers knowing that some were just doing a simple trip and those others whose journey was very long. Narrow seats added to stress and discomfort. Airline policy seemed to be "Give me the money and I will deliver you safely. Period" Humanity seems to be last on airline list. Traveling is seriously grueling and unpleasant for all those not in First Class."
Pros: "The American Airlines crews and people manning the desk erred very professional. Yes, this particular flight was conducted by American for Iberia under a share code. So whatever horror stories you have heard of about European Iberia flights, the one I took was fine. But the airline's crew is being let down."
Cons: "In Chicago, our flight was delayed at least three hours for a "GPS update." The crews said the software wasn't even handshaking. Okay. But I have a feeling this is common, and wish the airline would figure out a way to conduct updates, safely, without impacting everyone's schedule. My wife flew through same connection on the same airline a week later. And her flight was canceled. Maybe for the same issue? Unsure. It could have been a a bad luck streak."
Pros: "It was on time. Crew were very good."
Cons: "Plane seemed very dated. No individual entertainment No USB chargers Not much space"
Cons: "The airline "randomly" selected me for extra security. Even though I have TSA pre-check I was jostled around, sent to multiple security lines without any reasoning and the local Chicago TSA and airport staff didn't seem to know what to do. Once it was figured out I was subjected to what was essentially a cavity search. Again I HAVE TSA-pre-check but apparently that means nothing if an airline flags you. It was an extremely upsetting experience but you were in a situation of either agree to the invasive search or get stranded over 1000 miles from home. I will NEVER fly Iberia again after a cancelled flight and being stranded in the wrong country on the way to my vacation and the horrible security experience on the way back. I seriously may never go to Chicago either after seeing the complete lack of organization and traumatizing personal invasion. I fly a lot for work and have never had such a horrible experience. I would really like to know how many terrorists are caught with these invasive searches and would love to know the justification for sticking your hands inside someone's pants and grabbing their privates after they have already gone through a metal detector AND the body scanner. Especially for someone who has already passed a federal background check to obtain pre-check status. Absolutely ridiculous."
Cons: "They did not compromise when I couldn't go, I understand no refund but I cancelled a few days after,"
Pros: "Seats quite comfortable. Crew ok."
Cons: "Pitiful food offering and no entertainment at all when on previous 1.5 hour AA flight choice of movies."
Pros: "United airlines canceled a flight last minute that I needed in order to get to my best friends' wedding on time, I usually fly AA but the United flights were slightly cheaper at the time. The options United gave me would have had me missing the wedding, AA had more flights that allowed me to make it in time, considering it was booked 12 hours before take-off, it was decently reasonable and left on time and got in early (imagine that, United). Thank you American Airlines, again!"
Pros: "The crew was very efficient and friendly while handling everyone. Flight was smooth, food was good. I went to the wrong terminal and did not know that the advertised finair flight was actually American Airlines, the AA ticket counter attendant went all out to make sure I made it to the gate. All this with less than an hour before departure."
Cons: "I went to the wrong terminal, the email ticket had finair in large print and in smaller print indicated American. Luckily I was able to literally run and make my flight. Would be better to more clearly indicate actual airline."
Cons: "Dry / borderline rude staff and hostess. Dated plane. Tiny seats. But that is pretty much the baseline of airlines in the US. When will carriers start to take note from International carriers..leaps and bounds ahead."
Cons: "I took the bus from Ohare to Gen Mitchell airport because of delay at Ohare. No crew, again."
Cons: "My outbound flight to Manila had an overnight layover in Japan. I asked at the luggage check-in at O'Hare International Airport if they can check it all the way through as I had planned to go outside of the Narita airport for the layover. They told me I couldn't check the luggage all the way through and that I had to pick it up from baggage claim once I land in Narita. From there I had to check-in the luggage again on the same day. When I took my luggage out from baggage claim, I tried to check-in and the counter crew told me I was given wrong information. I had to keep my luggage with me until my flight the following day. On my return flight from Manila and another overnight layover in Narita, the check-in crew at NAIA told me I could check-in my luggage all the way through, and that they also allowed this at my outbound flight to Manila. The check-in crew at O'Hare International Airport gave me wrong information."
Pros: "Free checked bag"
Cons: "2 hour delay No food to buy or drinks"
Pros: "Eventually we made it"
Cons: "Plane was delayed because a door wasn't working (old). Business class entertainment was a tablet that was collected an hour before we landed. Food was very bland."
Pros: "I sat next to a friend I haven't seen in almost a year"
Pros: "On time"
Pros: "The entertainment selection was wonderful."
Cons: "The flight left on time but arrived late by at least 1/2 hour. I am small but the seat was narrow: my neighbors kept on hitting me when they moved. And I think it is terrible to have to pay to reserve almost any seats except for the middle seats."
Pros: "Entertainment system has a good selection"
Cons: "No earphones to listen to the soundtrack on the entertainment system"
Cons: "Where to begin? The pilot suggested we would "probably miss our connecting flight" but not to worry because he would be "moving quickly" through the air. Missed my connecting flight. Ended up stuck in Charlotte with no more flights to Florida. And the airline left my bag in Charlotte. Disaster."
Pros: "Very affordable! Traveling can be difficult, especially from Chicago O'hare - one of the busiest airports in the country - but everything was made easy for me and was a breeze!"
Cons: "No complaints here!"
Pros: "I had my first experience in the Admiral's Lounge at O'Hare and enjoyed it very much."
Cons: "My traveling companion's tray table was disgusting when she folded it down for beverage service. She asked for a wet towel and the flight attendant was snarky but went to get one without even looking or asking to see what the problem was. Her entertainment console wasn't working so they reset it but instead it reset mine (two seats over) they did this again and I let them know it was resetting mine. I was told that I was not in the seat they were resetting for ...I inquired if perhaps they should try to reset mine and see if it would, in fact, fix hers..it did. When she slipped off her shoes the carpet was soaking wet. This was a really crummy, crummy flight."
Cons: "Delayed three separate times, American Airlines employees were rude when asked why the flight kept getting delayed. Arrived 3 hours later than expected."
Cons: "I am very disappointed in my flight. I am 6'7 and paid for an exit row seat. When I got to the airport they gave me a different seat with no leg room. They told me they changed planes and there was nothing they could do to help me. I tried again at the gate and again nothing. Will never fly again."
Pros: "FINALLY American has up to date aircraft!!! Five years ago half the seatbacks and lighting on long distance flights didn't work. Swore I would never fly them again. They have redeemed themselves. nice aircraft"
Cons: "Inflight movie questionable. Couldn't figure out wifi entertainment options from inflight magazine ( over 60) and staff too busy to assist ( though didn't ask - just could see they had their hands full with beverage service). Would recommend video instructions after preflight safety video for tech unsavvy travelers. Also reminder on reservation to bring your own headsets and electronic devices."
Pros: "Flight was quick and easy"
Cons: "Seats are small. Luckily the flight is short bit for anything longer than one hour I do not recommend this aircraft"
Cons: "The departure gate was changed four or five times, including after we had traipsed from one end of the concourse to the other, only to have the gate changed BACK to the one from which we came. This was at supper time; we wanted to eat in the terminal but were rousted from two different lines to change gates. We couldn't stop running back and forth long enough to eat! I got updated info more quickly from Kayak than from United, despite having signed up for email and text notifications and having the United app. Come on!! Eventually we were marched down to a narrow hallway, crowded with passengers from two other departing flights, held in formation by obviously harried gate agents and finally led outside to the ramp to board the plane. The worst boarding experience. Ever. Give me Southwest anytime."
Cons: "Strange reason for delays"
Pros: "The crew made the best out of it and thankfully it’s an extremely short flight."
Cons: "A 20 minute flight was delayed for 2.5 hrs. United did a terrible job with notifying passengers, just simply bumped out departure in 15 min increments. Original excuse was inbound delay, although plane was there for 6 hrs already. Passenger soiled himself in cabin and there was no ventilation."
Pros: "Entertainment options were very good."
Cons: "Basic economy rules are really poor especially for passengers that travel for business every day. On the one hand, the airline tells us we are very important to them by assigning us with special gold privileges and on the other tells us we are not important to them. It is confusing at best."
Cons: "The sounding was off like the place to insert the Jack was broken"
Pros: "I liked everything was excellent"
Cons: "There was a 10 minutes delay"
Cons: "I hated that the flight was about 90 minutes LATE which made me almost miss my next flight (had I not jogged an entire airport, I would have)"
Pros: "Free snacks they gave us for the 6 hours delays."
Cons: "Everything, the delayed no one knew what was going on. It was also expensive and not as comfortable as other plans"
Pros: "TV and movie choices should be according to 2018 instead of1980. Also TV should be from running Era"
Pros: "My trip started off with airplane problems from the beginning. From my flight being delayed multiple times by air china to the overly packed united to the confusion of the non updated confirmation numbers or the e-ticket number. Even on the day I left upon arriving to the airport my confirmation number they had just given me after all the prior problems still didn't work. Air china had mediocre food with okay entertainment except my headset jack on the TV was broke and I couldn't watch anything. On the last air china flight from Bejing to Bangkok. I couldn't even charge my phone, watch any entertainment and basically was just stuck with no WiFi. Justfly wouldn't compensate for the changes on their end and said I myself would have to ask the airlines for compensation which the.the airlines directed me no where for compensation or even to upgrade my seat. Now I'm finally in Thailand but I'm scared of my return."
Cons: "Everything was really not great. Air china had mediocre food that some of it wasn't bad but other was so so."
Pros: "Captain and crew were brilliant, kept passengers informed throughout as to the delays, as a result all passengers were patient and understanding. Not much more could have been done to improve the experience as the snow and conditions at Dublin airport were out of their hands."
Pros: "My husband and i we want to seat next to each other"
Cons: "1) Chicago O'Hare Airport Airline staff very rude. 2) from Los Angeles to Chicago my husband and i are not sitting to each other. My husband is upset. 3) from Chicago to Los Angeles my husband and i are not sitting to each other. It happened again. Very disappointing. We think the airline doing this intentionally."
Pros: "The price was unreal so I had to jump on this, I was able to get on and off with my backpack no problem. The flights were good, captains were very communicative about times, expectations and when turbulence was present."
Cons: "The check in had to be done in person because of the need to check my bag size, I felt a little insulted that I would have to be checked on my honesty. When I got to the check in it was like watching a special forces team measuring and prodding peoples bags to get them in to the little box even when the shapes were the reason they couldn't fit, not the size of the bags. I literally watched someone fit their bag and the attendant take it out and make it misshaped for the box and show how it didn't slide in. I had no issues with my luggage, but that sucked to watch happen to others. The food and drinks came about 10 minutes before the plane landed."
Pros: "The crew The entertainment options The power options The drinks"
Cons: "10 minutes earlier and the food would have been better. Then again, 10 minutes earlier and wouldn’t have made flight."
Pros: "Crew help and service"
Cons: "Lending was bumpy. , Internet was not Working and no entertainment chenal as well"
Cons: "Didn't make the flight"
Pros: "They got my vegetarian food order right"
Cons: "Old airplanes both there and back, we had a choice of a few movies on a TV that we couldn't access on demand so you had to start half way through, and the quality was appalling. We were supposedly promised we could stream onto our devices via wifi but this didn't happen"
Pros: "Seat was ok."
Cons: "Didn't find out about the delay until we were almost ready to board. No planning."
Pros: "It got us from a to b but not much more to be said!"
Cons: "The idea of the entertainment system broadcast to your hand held device is fine - it didn't work for me though."
Cons: "Such a downgrade from other airlines! Awful! They board backwards. Usually the back seats board on the plane after the special needs people. Makes more sense, people are out of the way. My water was poured into a cup from a big water battle. I like how Jetblue gives me a personal water bottle and a variety of snack option. I was given a "snack mix" on this flight which was not good. I hated this flight and there were NO televisions, or usb ports to charge phones. Never again. They didn't even have enough room for carry on bags for everyone. Thank god I packed light and didn't need to use that option. Good to know United Airlines has crappy everything."
Pros: "Nothing!!! It was handled in a terrible way"
Cons: "The way they didn't care"
Pros: "I liked that it was a quick flight, and take off and landing were smooth."
Cons: "I didn't like that I had to tell someone to meet me so I could hopefully be on time at work. I was not on time .! I'm unhappy !"
Pros: "The crew was very courteous."
Cons: "The flight was delayed for about an hour - The planes were backed up on the tarmac. It is aggravating to think that you have enough time to make a connection and then to be waiting around for such a long time to take off. Paying for movies."
Pros: "It is hard to do poorly on such a short flight"
Cons: "We reserved wheelchair assistance prior to the flight. We had to wait an extended amount of time to actually get the wheelchair assistance with 5 kids 7 and under. Due to the wait we almost missed our flight, we were literally the last to board the plane. We were hoping to grab some breakfast for the kids as we had a long flight and did not have time to do so because of this delay. This is why we called ahead to reserve the wheelchair. The people checking in did not seem to care about the delay and only told us to be patient. Sad, unfortunate experience with accessibility issues."
Pros: "Crew. Aircraft selection."
Cons: "several people assigned to the same seats, mine included. lots of last minute moving around."
Pros: "Some of the people I dealt with were nice. All of the flight attendants and pilots were nice."
Cons: "United only had one person working to check people in, and due to a lady with 8+ bags that the only agent had to take 20+ minutes with (while the line stacked up behind us), we ended up missing the first leg of our flight. Told us our bags would be checked all the way through, and they weren't. Checked bag got lost on the way back (again, due to misinformation from United on whether our bag would be checked all the way through), and when we got them back they had obviously been rooted through, with no note left by TSA. I fly often, and this was one of the worst flying experiences of my life."
Pros: "The flight was short and left on time."
Cons: "The same problem as with the other flight: no headrest tabs and not much leg room."
Pros: "Flight was delayed almost missed connection."
Cons: "My flight was delayed by an hour and a half. That's the amount of time I could have spent to drive home to Milwaukee. I stuck around because there was no indication of a flight cancellation. I would rather hop on a 15-30min flight than go through the hassle of renting a car. BUT the flight did get canceled, the next flight was completely booked and the next flight out after that was at NIGHT. I arrived in Chicago in the morning. The gate agent told us all to head to United customer service. There I received RUDE, poor excuse of a "service" only to be told they don't give refunds at the counter as we were told by the gate agent. So do that on your own time. THEN I had to buy my bus ticket and spend 1.5-2hrs on top of already waiting 1.5hrs for the flight that got canceled. HORRIBLE. Will never fly United again. Did i mention upon my arrival home I found out American was WIDE open seat wise to chicago?? And no one checked for me!"
Pros: "It never took off. I should have just drove from NYC to Milwaukee. It would have been faster! Now, I have to deal with baggage issues because they made me unnecessarily check my carry on."
Cons: "All of it"
Cons: "There were no snacks on the second leg of the flight. I guess the flight was too short."
Pros: "Crew staff went out of his way to find something for my aisle to snack on when the person next to me asked if there was any snacks on the plane. The plane had to be changed for another plane due to a mechanical issue on the first plane, and the new plane had not been stocked with food after it's previous flight, yet the crew member was able to scrounge up some snacks for us! Also got complimentary directtv - nice, but doesn't make up for not getting home in time yet again."
Cons: "United sucks. I have flown it maybe 10-12 times in the past 2.5 years, mostly back and forth between Chicago and Boston. I have had only 3 round trip flights go without a hitch. Every other trip was delayed. This time 4 hours on my return flight to Boston due to a plane switch, boarding of a new plane to discover a mechanical issue, deboarding, waiting for a new plane, then boarding and sitting on the ground for another 40 min before we were able to take off. I was delayed 1.5 hours on the way to Chicago due to another plane swap (no joke). Still doesn't top but my worst 5 hour delay in Chicago on the way back to Boston because the captain didn't show up. United is atrocious and is my last choice or any airline. Only fly when I'm absolutely forced to now due to no other reasonable choices. They are below delta, JetBlue, American, southwest, and embarrassingly, spirit as well. Terrible."
Pros: "Friendly crew. Very short flight so rating entertainment & food is not really relevant. 15 minutes in the air."
Pros: "What can you say ?? It's a 20 minute flight on a tiny cramped plane but it got us from A to B on time. Crew was as friendly as they needed to be. Landing was very hard."
Pros: "How helpful the flight attendants were. And how they didn't disturb me while I slept."
Cons: "How there wasn't much elbow room for the person sitting in the middle seat."
Cons: "The flight was canceled with no explanation or an offer to reschedule. The next flight available was tomorrow afternoon which was not acceptable. When I asked customer service about a refund I was told to go to the website, but it was not guaranteed. Highly disappointed."
Cons: "I missed my connection due to long lines in customs and security. United was unable to get me another flight out that day and I ended up taking a bus back to Milwaukee instead."
Cons: "Lack of communication. Kept us belted down for s very long time. Lacked food service, lacked water service till the very end of the lock down. Then we were given the option to leave the plane as the doors were to be disarmed. But if we did the plane could get clearence and leave with no warning. I missed my connecting transportation, had to scrape my weekend plans, currently searching for a place to stay tonight while they locate my bag. I am cold and left my jacket in my bag. The United counter people are blaming it on the weather. I am sure everything was delayed by the laxadaysical baggage loader. The one person ( or lack of help loading the bags on the plane completely altered my travel plans. I requested assistance for hotel only to be told they are full when in fact several are vacant on the Internet. I should of videotaped the baggage loading in Canada, it would of went viral."
Cons: "They held us on the plane from Indy to Chicago for so long that most of us knew we were going to miss our flights. I ran all the way to my gate to discover that the plane took off 10 minutes earlier than it was supposed to. I was told there were no other flights to LA and I would have to get a hotel until tomorrow. I was only going to be in California for 2 days so every second counts, so when I became upset the man checked again and found me a seat on a plane that took off in an hour. I was grateful but at the same time I was kind of displeased that he didn't offer that to me originally."
Cons: "Food. It is a very long time and there no food enough"
Cons: "- Horrible food; - Very old airplane. The oldest I ever flew; - The entertainment system was horrible and not worked. We came the whole flight without having access to anything, neither the map of the flight."
Pros: "The trip had minimal turbulence. The landing was smooth."
Cons: "-The 767 was old. -It did not have any power ports for my laptop or cell phone. -The interior was old and dated, reminiscent of the 1980's. -The TV screen for entertainment seemed to be smaller than a Samsung Note 5. -The seats are unreasonably narrow and not comfortable. -I had an isle seat and my shoulder width is literally wider than the seats. -Every time the isle cart went by, it hit my left shoulder. -The seats in general seating are too small and were cramped. -God forbid if we had to egress out of the plane. -There were no adjustable head rests, like other airlines have. -The Flight Attendant for my section DID NOT make me feel like I was a valued customer, even though I paid over $1500 for flight. -She scolded me for asking "Why," when she TOLD me that I needed to sit in one seat, even though the seat next to me was vacant. She literally treated me like a child. - NOT COOL. Overall, in comparison to my last international flight, I WOULD NOT recommend United. I feel like I paid too much for my experience with United. Aer Lingus has better/newer aircraft, better cabin crew, better entertainment selections to include music and a selection of movies to watch at your convenience, more comfortable seats, provide a better environment, and a better value for your experience. Aer Lingus was also cheaper. So if you are reading this, please shop around if you are considering United to fly."
Pros: "Flight left OT."
Cons: "Uncomfortable slimline seats."
Pros: "Everything went smoothly and even got there 30 minutes ahead of schedule! Boston airport was excellent with bags already on the carrousel before we got to the baggage area!"
Pros: "The crew was nice and the flight overall was pleaseant"
Cons: "Flight was delayed by more than an hour due to the first officer not showing up. In addition to that, the gate was changed several times, forcing everyone to move. Baggage took way too long to unload"
Cons: "Pricing of carry ons a rip off."
Pros: "Crew was fine once we were able to get onto the plane"
Cons: "They need to be a lot more honest when they tell passengers time delays. Do not keep pushing 20 minutes increments. If it is going to be another hour or more then please tell us that so that we can adjust accordingly."
Cons: "Seat comfort and space could be improved."
Pros: "Seat was not comfortable"
Cons: "Waited a very long time for luggage at the airport. Not sure if that’s the airport or airlines fault"
Cons: "Hardest seats that I have sat in"
Pros: "As part of a sales pitch of their credit card, crew announced that we were flying in a new plane. The same plane which had computer issues rendering us over to hours late. Crew blissfully shared sandwiches while allowing us to deplane but asking us not to do so. It took over an hour of waiting to ask anyone if they wanted a half filled cup of water. I understand this is a budget airline, but could they spare one of their ridiculously overpriced $3 cans of soda for the major inconvenience? Or not have the crew eating food in front of paying customers? The new plane has rigid seats with miniscule padding, which after sitting in for over five hours is incredibly uncomfortable. The fold down snack trays are the size of a standard paperback novel. Summarized, you get what you pay for (if you don't want a carry on, checked bag, soda, or tiny snack.)"
Cons: "Please see above."
Pros: "Employees were pleasant and worked with a sense of urgency trying to keep things running smoothly."
Cons: "Flight was delayed. Seats are uncomfortable."
Pros: "Very difficult to get through to someone to get seat selection and confirmation. I was told at gate that I would have to pay more if I wanted an aisle seat. That is crazy. Food selection is awful. Willing to pay if food selection was better and healthier. Would like to see a Frontier Magazine like other airlines have. Good crew."
Cons: "See above remarks."
Cons: "Seats were uncomfortable, tray was half the size of a normal one and they charge for carry ons"
Pros: "the flight was fine both ways"
Cons: "on the way to tampa i put my bag under the seat, on my return to milw the airiine ticket lady was rude to me, talked nasty and charged me 45.00 to take my bag on under the seat. after i could on the first flight, it was the same bag and same stuff inside, all she could say is no to every thing i said, im not happy"
Pros: "Flight was fast and plane was new and clean!"
Cons: "One of the flight attendants was very rude and pushy which made the ride tense and uncomfortable at times. However, the other attendants were great!"
Cons: "The toilet was broken. Hour delay"
Pros: "Nothing to like."
Cons: "Me & my wife arrived 3 hours early for our flight. During that time waiting to check our baggage, there were 3 arguments between employees and customers at 3 different times. After checking in and waiting at the terminal for our flight which supposed to leave at 12:55AM was delayed to 3AM. The flight ended up to being cancelled after everyone got in the plane. About 5-15 minutes all passengers was told to exit the plane. There were only one frontier employee who was working at the at the gate after we all exited. This specific employee said the manager had told all other frontier employees to go home. Me and my wife were really upset about this situation. It took a very long time for the employee to deal with all passengers refunds to changing flights. This had affected our flights to MkE because my wife mother was in her death bed to passing away today. The way things were handled during the flight on this day was a horrible experience. We then bought our flights from southwest after all this hectic morning."
Cons: "The total cost of the flight is just a fraction of what you’ll pay. The nickel and dime you for everything. $38 for a carrying on, same for a checked bag. It was a quick trip and thought a back pack would be okay to carry on.... nope that’s $38, if you pay ahead of time. They charge more at the gate. When you check in they try to get you to pay anywhere from $9 to $21 to pick a seat. Seats don’t recline either. Flight was also late. You’re better off paying the full fare on another flight than flying Frontier. Never again."
Pros: "staff was friendly. Flight left on time"
Cons: "40.00 fee for checked bag and 40.00 fee for carry on. Cheap flight is not so cheap when you add on all the fees"
Pros: "Nothing positive"
Cons: "See previous post."
Cons: "It just wasn't comfortable"
Cons: "Poor communication on extensive delays. Overall length of trip was 2.5 hours greater than projected. Seats are amazingly uncomfortable and the leg room is the smallest I've ever flown on (additionally the seats don't recline or adjust)."
Cons: "there was a hour wait on the run way. it was hot people were cranky, secondly I have never been on a airline that you literally have to pay for everything including soda and coffee. the landing was very rough. I was not impressed."
Pros: "I was almost late and they did everything they could to help me get to my destination including running my drivers license to me, as I was realizing at the security check that I had lost it. Then the crew was second to none and far better than other larger airlines. I'm sure most people know through word of mouth or their own experiences that they are sometimes spread too thin to cater to the customer anymore and this, however, was a fresh change of pace. I rarely take the time to fill reviews out but felt obligated in this case to spread the word through my gratitude. I had recently been laid off and they made sure I got on my flight for a job opportunity I needed. I thought the best part was the $59 ticket with tax but you can't quantify real costumer service like that. Thank you again to everyone at Frontier Airlines!"
Cons: "It was unclear that after already paying the $63 for the ticket there would be additional baggage fees and seat fees (what is a seat fee?)! I would rather know these charges upfront and pay for them upfront with the rest of the ticket as opposed to unexpectedly at the end of the trip. I don't ever want to fly Frontier again."
Pros: "You get what you pay for. Cheap flight. No beverage service."
Cons: "Uncomfortable. Pay for beverages. Pay for seat assignment."
Pros: "Boarding was quick and crew was professional."
Cons: "Seats would not recline and paying for luggage is just ridiculous for foreign travelers connecting from abroad."
Cons: "The seats are uncomfortable the bag ck was $30 on the way and then $40 on the way back for some reason. The excuse was well that was last week's rate...... really!!! To get a exit Isle seat would have been over another $40 per seat, of course no one was in them the entire flight .. they were like we'll we charge for that because our flights are so cheep. Well I dont think over $450.00 was cheep for us to go to Vegas. Oh plus the extra over $70 for one ck baggage. Never again... and that was the thoughts of a lot of people.."
Pros: "Crew was overall friendly and good, got us in early after a delay which was a pleasant surprise."
Cons: "Got de-boarded after everyone was on board. Turns out that was due to paperwork snafu out of all things. Charged five different ways for even snacks cost money that have been free on every airline! Had I know all these things cost I wouldn't have booked with them."
Pros: "pilots did a good job."
Cons: "Uncomfortable seating- hard seats - very cramped, no snacks or water or soda offered complimentary. What entertainment?"
Pros: "I expected a fee for my checked bags, but I did not expect my carry-on to cost anything let alone more. I'm not sure what their definition of a carry-on is. Also, I really did not appreciate how they changed our gate and delayed our flight without making an announcement. And then they just kept stringing us along. One of my fellow passengers discovered that the food voucher they gave was $10 less than what we were supposed to get, after the fact of course."
Pros: "The flight crew did a great job giving us an update on the football game that many of the passengers wanted to be updated on"
Pros: "I don't think I would fly Frontier again. First the on time perecentages on flights are poor. I was two houses late on the flight from Orlando to Milwaukee. The explanation from the crew was that the luggage wasn't loaded on the plane, seriously you can't align baggage with a plane closer than that? The airline nickels and dimes you on everything. Oh were two hours late and you want a beverage that will be 5.00. There is no accountability from this airline do not use."
Pros: "The crew on board the plane were great."
Cons: "The gate crew and the agent on the phone were not helpful. They lost my snowboard bag. The plane had engine troubles. I didn't get to my destination until 4 hours after my arrival time."
Pros: "Do not use frontier. There was a snow storm 4 days ago and frontier us still delaying every flight. All other airlines on time. Flight in was delayed3.5 hrs and return was delayed 3hrs. Again it has been sunshine and nice the last 3 days but frontier insits the issues are not there fault but weather related. Pay the extra money and fly anyone else."
Pros: "Worst airline ever. Cancelled the flight due to operational issues and had nothing to offer except a flight 4 days later. Total waste of time and money."
Cons: "Respectable airlines will offer you something to get to your destination - booked on another airline or at least a hotel if you are stuck. This is not a respectable airline."
Pros: "The customer service women apologized for the air line."
Cons: "There was nothing to like they canceled our Monday flight and had no available flights until Friday. They could not help us secure a flight on a different carrier so could only refund our money. That's really wrong as when you book in advance your flight costs substantially less. We ended up getting a Southwest flight back to Milwaukee for 524.00 per seat. So Frontier canceling our flight home added $700.00 to the cost of our 3 day trip. Never Never again will I fly with them FAA HELP!"
Pros: "The crew was courteous and we got to our destination early both ways."
Cons: "I was charged $60 for carry-on on the way out and $45 on the way back, why the difference? so much for the cheap flight. Also, the chairs didn't recline...was uncomfortable for trying to sleep."
Pros: "Quick flight"
Cons: "Seats very uncomfortable. Could have minimized the noise more for a red eye like I have had on other airlines."
Pros: "Initially the cost of the airfare seemed too good to be true....we ended up paying $190 in addition to the cost of the tickets."
Cons: "1.Hidden costs - we have carry on luggage that ALL other airlines are fine with, but when we got to the gate to board they told us they weren't for carry on and had to pay and additional $60/piece($120 total) and threatened that we couldn't board if we didn't pay. Then they allowed us to carry them on and they fit easily in the overhead compartment. 2.Mass confusion boarding on the return flight. There were designated long lines, then other personnel would make changes to the lines confusing everyone even more. 3.We had our bags pre checked, our boarding passes printed the night before (as recommended by the airlines) to expedite the boarding process and we still had to stand in line with the other passengers who had not completed this ahead of time. It did not expedite anything for us. 4.Seats do not recline, very uncomfortable. 5. No vomit bags....we had a very turbulent decent and many people in need of sick bags. Many ended up vomiting into their personal bags!"
Pros: "Short Flight. Didnt have to deal with anything for too long."
Cons: "The crew was very rude from milwaukee & even in orlando. I had never flown before & they were not very respectful of how I was feeling before & during the flight. I just tried to sleep my way throught it (which was not very successful). Leaving from Orlando was twice the hassle that Milwaukee was. None of the Kiosks were working so everyone that didn't check in online had to check in physically with a crew member. & even those who did check in online had to have their boarding passes reprinted because tsa scanners were not working. so that was another line to stand in. I arrived to the Orlando air port 2 hours before my flight & did not get a resting moment before boarding. I had stood in line for almost an hour when a crew member had said I was in the wrong line & to go to the very left line..there was no line there. there were ropes in a U shape that went no where. so then I had to go all the way back to the end of the line I had already wasted an hour on just to wait longer the second time around. The prices for this flight was not bad until you add all of the fees that came along with it. Will not be flying with Frontier EVER again."
Pros: "Staff was friendly on my flight"
Cons: "My bags never made it to my destination. It was a direct flight and I was told it was probably left at my departing city"
Pros: "Very friendly. No problems. I educated myself, packed light and was able to travel without a luggage fee. Best price out there."
Cons: "Paying to pick my seat so I could sit by my husband...should have an option to get assigned seats next to each other at least free of charge. You may not get to pick exact location of seats but still know you will be sitting together."
Cons: "Felt nickel-and-died with all the up-charges, like being charged more for a carry-on than for a checked bag."
Pros: "Price. Time available"
Cons: "This flight left at 11pm, and got to our destination at 4am. It's safe to assume most passengers were wanting to sleep. I was seated near the back of the plane and got no rest at all, thanks to the two flight attendants in back having a loud conversation the entire time they weren't dealing with passengers. It's pretty unbelievable to me they didn't think twice about the fact there were people trying to sleep a few feet away from them."
Pros: "See above."
Cons: "See above."
Pros: "The seat were very comfortable."
Cons: "The baggage fee is excessive. $45 for a carry on is unacceptable. I felt like someone had robbed me at gun point when I got to the counter and was told the baggage fee."
Pros: "The crew recognized my discomfort (unable to get comfortable in a seat that didn't recline) and helped!"
Cons: "#1) Almost everyone boarded in "group 1" making for a mad rush at the gate. #2) the seating chart didn't mention the seats that didn't recline. #3) up charge for any seat, up charge for checked bags or carry ons, heck, they charged $2 for a warm bottle of water #4) the only flight that wasn't on time on my return was my Frontier flight (perfect weather)"
Pros: "I really liked that they got me to the front of the line at bag check in because the lines were very long and I would have been late!"
Cons: "Having to pay for a soda and the tray tables are ridiculous I could hardly fit my drink on it!"
Cons: "My luggage did not make it to Milwaukee. I checked in early in Denver. It was difficult to find the representative to let them know my luggage was lost. She filled out the documentation and assured me I would get a call later that night, assuming the luggage would arrive that night. I never got a call. I called them twice, got recordings! Let messages and they called the next day late in the morning. The luggage did arrive the previous night, but my phone number was not input into the system correctly. I looked and it was on the form correctly. Very frustrating and inconvenient. Considering you pay extra for luggage this shouldn't happen."
Cons: "Surprise! $40 each way to bring a bag?!? Even a carry on?? What's next, paying to use the bathroom or breathe the air? Huge line to check in. Staff did call flights that were leaving so we wouldn't miss our flight, but still stressful."
Pros: "One gate agent was very apologetic for the delay, and did try to keep us informed. She was the only professional we saw working that day."
Cons: "The flight was delayed by four hours due to a co-pilot who called in sick. They had to fly in another crewmember from Orlando to Atlanta. Frontier did not offer to help those needing to change flights to other airlines. When we were allowed to board, one woman tried to get her son to board as an unaccompanied minor ( a service which she had paid for), and was ignored by the flight attendants assisting with boarding. Once aboard the plane, a flight attendant got on the PA system and stated the delay was not the flight attendants fault, it was a pilot who delayed the plane. Very Unprofessional. No free or additional services were offered to the passengers aboard the flight, however we were given a $10 breakfast voucher during the delay. There were many other appalling aspects of the crew member's behavior. Too many to mention here. I will not fly Frontier again, nor will I recommend it to anyone else."
Cons: "Flight was 45min delay on runway to fly out to Orlando due to one passenger issue. On the flight home, flight was delayed 1hr late before we boarded and then sat on the runway for 45min longer waiting for the pilot to arrive. No refreshments served unless paid for and some of flight attendants were quite rude."
Pros: "No it was all pretty bad. i realize its a cheap airline but i fly them all the time."
Cons: "customer service, appropriate staffing, enough leg room for humans, professionalism, etc"
Pros: "Seems we were upgraded to exit-row seats somehow - loved the legroom!"
Cons: "Seats don’t recline"
Pros: "Crew was very professional, plane was clean. Ride was smooth."
Cons: "I had overweight passenger next to me who tried his very best to keep his left arm away from me, but when he fell asleep I was squeezed. No fault of Spirit. It was too tight of a seat arraignment. When I went to get my seat from customer service there was a man with luggage that will fit the template for carry on, but the wheels did not allow his suitcase to fit the length. He had to pay for his luggage, I thought the representative should have not charge him. I bought my ticket last minute as it was business trip decided 2 days prior. I chose Spirit for the convenient schedule, never used them before. For the same amount of money a coworker of mine got very convenient flight with no charge for carry on with assigned seats with American. I thinkg the price was not competitive."
Cons: "What a joke I paid for an upgraded seat I was moved against my will into a standard sized seat, next to a morbidly obease traveller. I reached out to Spirit customer service and was denied a refund or any compensation. Never again!"
Pros: "Staff were actually nice on this flight. I boarded last so can’t complain."
Cons: "No entertainment. No power outlets. No reclining seats. No legroom. No frills. Base fare. Pretty crappy as usual."
Pros: "The snack selection on the flight and food package options were reasonably priced, and there were quite a few good options."
Cons: "We arrived at the airport and were through security over an hour prior to our flight's takeoff. We decided to grab breakfast at a restaurant approximately 2-3 gates down from our gate. We arrived back at our gate 17 minutes prior to the departure time and the door to the entryway was already closed. No spirit attendants remained at the gate to assist or inform us about who we should speak to regarding this matter. We sat at the gate and watched our flight take over 15 minutes to pull away from entryway with no one available to direct us. After the plane pulled away, a few Spirit staff members came back out the door to the gate, and when we inquired as to why our names were not called throughout the airport (as we heard many other names called while sitting at the airport) they informed us we would have to talk to the customer service desk if we had an issue. We went to the customer service desk and they put us on another flight, which did not depart until late that day. We went to the customer service desks of 3 other airlines attempting to find a sooner flight, and when we explained Spirit closed the gates 17 minutes early, each airline stated that the industry standard is 10 minutes. Not only does Spirit not follow the industry standard, but they also shut the gates 2minutes prior to Spirit's standard which is 15 minutes before the flight. Additionally, no effort was made to call our names prior to the flight, as is customary with all airlines. Two days later, we went to board our return flight, which a week prior to our trip we paid $585 to change to that day, and when we went to check in we were not scheduled to be on that return flight. We showed proof of switching our flight and luckily the attendant was able to get us on that flight, however, we were extremely rushed getting through security and due to Spirit's mistake almost missed this flight as well. If no seats would have been available we would not have been able to get home despite paying to switch the flight a week in advanced. Overall, we were very disappointed with our experience traveling with Spirit and would not recommend the airline to anyone. We are frequent travelers for both business and recreation and have never experienced such poor customer service."
Pros: "On the plane, the seats were extremely comfortable, with a lot of leg room, even on the standard seats. Much more than on any flight I had flown with Southwest domestic. The staff was also a lot friendlier and generous. And there was plenty of room on the flight which made comfort affordable."
Cons: "They announced that the flight was departing from a different gate, but it wasn't listed on their website and there was no way to verify it on any screens. The gate that they said the flight would be departing out of instead still had the destination on it for the previous flight. Then, after that flight departed, it showed the destination for the next flight scheduled to leave out of that gate, not the one I was on. So frankly, a lot of people were very confused on where they were supposed to be waiting. Especially since, there was boarding for a different flight at the first gate, and no screen showing the flight that was being boarded there. So it caused a lot of nervousness for a lot of us, not being sure where we were supposed to be and afraid we would miss our boarding call."
Pros: "Nothing. Everybody was rude"
Cons: "We arrived at the airport on time and after changing the terminal on us, we still miss our flight. Employees were super rude, manager said "tough luck" and we were supposed to guess that we were boarding at the gate that said blue jet. You guys suck and i hope you know you won't be around for a while"
Cons: "Did not like quality of the plane too small seats and not too clean either"
Pros: "Very smooth flight. Employees very courteous . seats were not bad . i am 6ft 265 lbs and was comfortable on a 4 hour flight.good experience."
Cons: "Nothing really"
Cons: "I've read bad reviews about Spirit airlines, but I was on a budget and decided to take my chances. It was a very small plane, which meant tight quarters during a 4.5 hour flight. I have a disability and deal with chronic pain and usually need to carefully plan out long flights so I arrive with minimal pain, but the seats were very small and moving about the back cabin was impossible. When I asked for a wheelchair I wasn't granted my request right away because I was told I didn't register online. I've always requested a wheelchair when I check in with major airlines when I arrive and have never been given a problem. Also, I didn't realize checking baggage would cost so much! No wifi available a very turbulent flight and they even charge for water. It wasn't the most horrible experience, but if we pay for a cheap ticket, expect substandard service. This will definitely will be my last time with Spirit Airlines."
Cons: "I had 3 bags which could easily fit into the cabin space. One of the bags I had carried was the same bag which I had while boarding the flight from Boston to Chicago on 8th Jun 17. While in that trip I was not charged for the bag as the size & weight fitted into your norms. But I had to pay $195 for 3 bags, including the bag which I had while leaving Boston. The behavior of the staff manning the boarding gate was nasty. As I was not having a credit card with me, I chose to pay cash. But they refused to accept cash & told me that my flight will be cancelled and I won't be allowed to board the aircraft. I panicked & requested the passengers to take money from me and swipe their card. With great difficulty I found a passenger who obliged me. A fresh boarding pass was issued to all 4 of us. The bag which I had while taking the flight to Chicago on 8/6/17 fitted on the equipment which measures the sizes, but I was made to pay for it. Very horrible experience of flying a so called low fare airline."
Cons: "Flight was delayed, Woman had an intact male Pit bull as a service dog ( therapy dog). The dog acted up 3 times in waiting area I do not know why they would let that dog in the cabin?"
Pros: "The price"
Cons: "The experience felt a bit chaotic and impersonal. It's a bit stressful to manage all the extra costs as well. I tend to enjoy flying but I mostly just wanted to get this experience over with. Spirit gets you from point A to point B, safely but there's nothing enjoyable about it. Also, on the flight back we waited on the runway almost 45 minutes for an open terminal. We were about 30 minutes early but that wouldn't explain the terminal opening up 15 mins after our expected arrival time. However, I don't know if this was Spirit's fault or the airport's."
Cons: "I was never advised that I need to inform Spirit that I missed my incoming flight, so my flight home was cancelled. I would like to be reimbursed for my flight back to Atlanta that I had to take on Delta. Please advise me of the process.."
Cons: "CANCELLED. NO Assistance with rebook. Refund and you are on your own. Found out later they were have a pilot strike. They didn't disclose that and should have, in my opinion. I had the same exact thing happen on my return flight. Cancelled. No assistance with rebook. Had they been honest and straight forward I could have made proper accomdations for my return flight home. Instead a got the screw job TWICE. I understand that it is not in their control of the pilot strike. But good service would disclose that information as to not cause additional problems. Spirit sucks. Everyone knows that. But they don't have to screw people over and more then already do"
Cons: "Hostesses were loud and had the most horrible screeching voices I've ever heard."
Cons: "I didn't like anything. Will never book with Kayak or spirit. My flight from Chicago to Minneapolis was cancelled and I have still not got my refund. Pathetic!"
Cons: "We were delayed for about three hours but there were no announcements or screens displaying that information. There was no indication that we were even at the correct gate. People had to walk up one at a time and ask to confirm what was happening and that we were all at the correct gate. Two hours after our flight was supposed to take off, there was finally an announcement letting us know that there was a delay and our gate would be changed so we needed to move out of the way so another flight could use the gate, but not to too far because they didn't know when or where our flight would be leaving from. It was chaotic and disorganized for no reason. I understand that delays happen but the lack of communication was unacceptable."
Pros: "Airline Canceled the first leg and so never got to this flight"
Cons: "Airline cancelled the flight with zero understandable cause. And now out thousands to get home a day later than planned"
Pros: "Used Kayak to find cheap flights that fit our time frame. Spirit airlines proved to be a quick and reliable airline getting us to Chicago 15 mins early. When departing Chicago email notifications kept us up to date on possible delays of flight caused by weather conditions. I called Spirit customer service representative and changed my flight to avoid the worst of the weather. They were able to make the changes and honor the seating arrangements I had made for my family of five. Great experience!!"
Pros: "After getting through the gate, the boarding was simple."
Cons: "No mobile ticketing at O'hare. Security noted that Spirit requires you go through their ticket kiosks/desk, despite sending a mobile QR code to go through it when going through mobile check-in (itself a serious pain due to a terrible website). Further, they don't advertise that the cost of the seat and carry-on negates any savings on the ticket price itself. I couldn't even get a simple cup of water from flight attendants ("bottled water only, $3 per"). I will never willingly purchase a flight from Spirit again."
Pros: "Nothing--there is literally nothing to like about this airline. They display a cheaper fare than other airlines and call it their "Bare Fare" but you better not pack more than a small backpack otherwise you end up paying double the ticket price in services charges and baggage fees!"
Cons: "Spirit's endless amounts of extra hidden costs and ridiculous baggage fees meant that I ended up paying just as much for my airfare as I did to 1) check my bags, 2) print my boarding pass and 3) pay for the hidden services charges to do all of the above at the gate (instead of predicting exactly how many luggage/carry-on items and their exact weight over five months in advance of my trip, when I initially purchased my ticket online). You'll have to purchase water on the plane if you get thirsty. I would not be the least bit surprised if Spirit started charging a fee to use the bathroom on the plane! AVOID THIS AIRLINE if you need to check a bag, or if your carry-on is larger than a small backpack and/or purse! Plus, the interior of their new fleet has decreased space between rows so you have less legroom than ever (I'm 5'5" and 125 lbs--I had no room to move). And the final straw for me: I paid a premium price for a flight that left AFTER 9:00 AM. Less than 48 hours before departure, Spirit changed our flight to 6:05 AM; a time I had specifically filtered out of my options when searching for a flight! And no, there was absolutely no refund or apologies for the inconvenience."
Cons: "The flight is advertised as low priced, but at the cost of checking a small carry on for $50 each way. For $100 more for ticket we could've flown JetBlue with amenities like water and coffee and attentive professional flight attendants. The plane was extremely loud, and sounded as if the panels could be ripped right off during landing and takeoff. We shouldve just packed a backpack. I don't think I would ever fly this airline again because the overall feeling was that the equipment was rickety and unsafe. I guess Ive just become accustomed to professionalism and service on other airlines."
Cons: "Ticket price was cheap but they charge for every little thing including where you wanted sit in the plane, I'm not talking about first class . Crew was excellent, I felt like if I needed to use the bathroom they were going to charge me for toilet paper and the water to wash my hands... Don't know if I'll use Sprit airline again."
Pros: "There wasn't anything I really liked about my trip on Spirit."
Cons: "From the curbside to the gate you are on your own. No skycaps to take your bags at the curb even though you've already paid for bags. And even though you've already paid for bags you still have to stand in a long line at the counter to check in. This is my 3rd time flying with Spirit since 2011. I thought the first 2 trips having issues was a fluke but no, it seems fairly consistent that you will not leave on time, the staff will not be friendly and nothing is complimentary...even water! The seats are extremely small and there is no way to recline them. Some of their planes have advertisement pasted through the entire length of the cabin, the crew really pushed applying for their credit card, all snacks must be paid for I mean, the message is clear, profits first, customers are to be used to meet their goals. At the end of the day, customers are lured in by seemingly lower prices but it's all smoke and mirrors. When you're done with all of the a la cart items, the price is the same as all of the other airlines, with inferior service, in my opinion. I will not be flying with Spirit Airlines again. I will spend my money with airlines that value me as a customer first."
Pros: "Overall this was a bad experience. Spirit forces you to pay $55 for a carry-on bag. I suppose I should have known this already, and I'm sure it was in the fine print of my ticket. So partly my own fault. But when you add in all the fees Spirit nickel and dimes you for, you could have purchased a ticket with a better airline for same price. In addition, the boarding process was slow and the staff was unprofessional. The flight attendants were rude, the seats do not recline at all, and I could feel a hard metal piece inside my headrest. I asked for a pillow but the flight attendant said none were available. I will not be flying Spirit again unless there are absolutely no other options."
Cons: "I arrived at O'Hare and my flight was cancelled. I had to book another flight for the next day ($480+) and a hotel room for the night ($200+) ALL AT MY EXPENSE. The Spirit representatives said that someone from Spirit would contact me in a few days to reimburse me for the flight from O'Hare to NYC, but as of a week, no one has. I have very little faith that anyone ever will or that I will be reimbursed for the flight that was cancelled. I intend to report Spirit to the NYS Attorney General's Office. Everything was bad, since I had to spend close to $700 of my own money to get back home. VERY VERY BAD."
Cons: "The flight was delayed 2 hours and they did not communicate this information very well. I was told to go to gate L7 and waited and waited without any information. Then they told us to go to gate L1 and then to go to gate L11 - it was very disorganized . The employees were not helpful and they seemed annoyed at all the questions. It was very crowded in the terminal and they kept telling us to move back to let other passengers off the plane but there was no where to go. All in all it was not a good experience to fly with Spirit."
Pros: "Nice attendants. Good attitude"
Cons: "A320 rattle so bad at landing I thought the luggage compartment would come down. Seats are like wood bench's Cheap flight, expensive adds for carry on"
Pros: "Spirit is known as an ultra low cost carrier. I did not know this when I purchased the tickets, so the fares we paid were a little less than that of competitors. The pros end there."
Cons: "For the amount of harassment one goes through to fly with Spirit, the slightly lower fares are not worth it. Frankly, it seems like a ploy to hook people and subsequently squeeze three nickels out of every dime for anything else on the flight. The boarding process was delayed by over an hour. The attendant speaking from the gate was rude, hostile, and obnoxious. Those boarding were practically interrogated to make sure the water bottle they were holding might not be an extra personal item. (You have to pay $55 for a carry-on but are allowed one personal item on Spirit. If you are caught carrying extra onto the plane without paying, it's a $100 fine. One which they are on the prowl for!) Once on the flight, there is no entertainment. There is no complimentary anything. You can buy food or drink with credit cards only. The seats do not even have a tilt function to them, so you can only sit upright. My personal favorite part of the flight was watching the fight that ensued between female passengers deboarding and the attendants that did nothing about it. Something about the ultra low cost carrier makes people crazed to get off the plane. At the end of a flight, everyone wants off a plane, but I have never seen such disorganized chaos and blatantly rude disregard for the deboarding process as on this flight. Next time I travel, I'll spend the extra $100 to fly with another airline. Lesson learned."
Pros: "Only the initial "sucker price" which does NOT include ANY LUGGAGE or the ability to SIT WITH YOUR FAMILY without paying extra!!"
Cons: "They use an initial "SUCKER PRICE" which does NOT include ANY LUGGAGE or the ability to SIT WITH YOUR FAMILY without paying extra!! $50 extra for each piece of luggage ... EACH WAY1 If you don't pay at the check in counter they charge $100 for each piece of luggage - each way and that includes ANY BACKPACK WITH WHEELS! $25 FOR EACH FAMILY MEMBER TO SIT TOGETHER!!!! NO COMPLIMENTARY FOOD OR DRINK. 2 sodas are $5! (can't buy just one) NO none zero entertainment, not even a radio channel."
Pros: "In flight experience was good."
Cons: "Didn't like that I have to print my boarding pass and that an eboarding pass doesnt work on the scanners. That was not communicated well to me. The gate changed 30 mins prior to the take off time of my flight and not a single passenger was informed of this. There were no announcements made. They did not even care to change the flight information display at the gate behind the counter. While passengers were waiting to board, a jet blue crew member starts to announce boarding for their flight to JFK while its displaying spirit airlines flight to dallas. The jet blue crew has no information to provide to us. A spirit airline crew memeber SHOULDVE MADE AN ANNOUNCEMENT reg the gate change at the original gate or they should remove the spirit airline flight display from the screen. And all this 20 mins prior to take off. And I was told to stand in line that was a mile long to have this simple question answered 'whats the current gate'. The crew could've been a bit more informative, less rude and more approachable."
Pros: "Your flight staff (flight attendants) are always great."
Cons: "I attempted to purchase luggage before each of my flights (departure and return) and the website would not allow it. I called the customer service number multiple times and it said they were experiencing technical difficulties. I was forced to purchase luggage allowance at the airport on both flights and was forced to pay a much larger amount that what I normally would have had to pay if the website was working. This excessive fee really makes the option of flying spirit less economical, frustrating, and really obliterates any reason to fly with your airline. Additionally, I was able to purchase seating before my flight- but on my return flight they put me in a seat that I did not pay for. The flight attendant did make a correction. Your staff at the main terminals is consistently extremely slow, unfortunately. I really like the flight attendants, they are always great. However, due to the above mentioned issues I have had recurrently, I will certainly be reluctant to purchase Spirit flights in the future"
Cons: "Poor flight connection time- we waited 6 hours for our connecting flight at Chicago. Poor gate change arrangement- changing gate without changing the boarding on the arriving/departure board. My daughter and I sat outside of the boarding gate for 2 and a half hours and were informed the boarding gate had changed. When we realized the gate changed, we rushed to the gate, the gate closed. We ran to the customer service. The staff there wasn't sympathetic and showed no interest of helping us to get on another flight to Portland asap. Instead of connecting us to the flight that we could arrive at Portland on the same day, he told us two choices of flight: same flight at the same time on the next day; fly to Dallas next morning and then fly to Portland arriving Portland at early evening. It was already 8:45 pm at the time. I asked was there any earlier flight we could take as my daughter has to be at a camp orientation the next day. He was rude and refused to offer any further help. As we walked away , my daughter saw a nearby boarding gate showed a flight to Dallas in 20 minutes. We rushed back to the Spirit staff and asked him to put us on that flight. He said it's already too late. If he would had tried at the beginning, we would have a chance to be on that flight, and be back to Portland next day. We ended up buying tickets from another airline to fly home that night. In summary- Spirit Airline: expensive after added all other fees, ending up paying more with very poor service, lack of convenience of larger companies that have more flights , small seat space; you will be treated as a bargain seeker and deserved no respect or service."
Pros: "It got me from the point A to the point B safely. Shouldn't/wouldn't take that for granted."
Cons: "1. Technical difficulties: We attempted to check in the night before, in order to "save" on what's already a ridiculous fee for checked baggage. However, after inputting our credit card number, the system stated that it was experiencing malfunction. Therefore, we had to check in again at the airport, and although we informed them that we attempted to check in ahead of time, they were not concerned and charged us $52 each per bag. At this point, any savings we had by booking a "no frill, economic" airline, were negated. 2. Ridiculous Fees, cont: My husband and I were traveling together, and booked the flight at the same time, on the same credit card. Yet, the only way we were guaranteed seats together, was if we purchased seat assignments. 3. Delays: Our flight was initially delayed 3 hours. We were not given any explanation or apologies. Then, as our new boarding time was approaching, they informed us that further delay will ensue due to a flight attendant running late. They could not give us a time frame in which we would actually board, nor did they seem particularly concerned or apologetic. 4. (Dis)Comfort: We finally boarded. Seats do not recline, nor are they comfortable. Of course, even water carried a charge. 5. More delays, poor Customer Service: After we landed, we proceeded to wait another half an hour or so, because the plane for some reason had no access to the gate. People were restless and needed to use restrooms. But they were sharply redirected and ordered to stay seated and buckled, without much regard for the inconvenience and discomfort. Overall, a poor experience. There are so many airlines out there whose costs are comparable (or even cheaper after you factor in all of the additional, ridiculous fees) and who have a better record in being on time, great customer service, and no extra fees. I would suggest going with them."
Cons: "The flight attendant "joked" with us that we were heading to New York instead of LA... Supposed to be funny but seriously rude and frightening; I almost had a panic attack. I am also severely disgusted by the airlines that include a dozen hidden fees but don't inform you of them when you are booking your ticket. It was due to a fluke that I discovered carry ons were not free, which led me to search further and find that printing boarding passes is not free, nor are beverages, nor.. anything else. While I understand Spirit's desire to make flights cheaper, you should just TELL PEOPLE THAT when they buy the ticket, I shouldn't have to discover it after the fact. I probably still would have bought your ticket and been much happier about it."
Cons: "I got into he line 70 minutes before my flight, which was considered a "late check in" and the line was so long I missed my flight! The next flight to my destination was 12 hours later, so I said I would have to purchase another ticket with a different carrier. The cashier informed me I would get refunded for the missed flight. Flash forward to my return flight, they canceled it! The cashier never noted that we even spoke, and it is procedure to cancel the rest of the booking if a customer doesn't get onto a flight. It was a complete nightmare. I had to purchase another ticket home and the kicker: no refund for either flight that I didnt even go on. You get what you pay for. Spend more and go with a larger carrier. I've always had good experiences with Southwest."
Pros: "The initial price seemed fair."
Cons: "The airline lets you bring a purse for free. If you don't realize this policy when you book: there is an additional fee for a carry-on. Unless you book through Spirit, this policy is not well communicated. Beverages-- including water are associated with fees."
Pros: "When my original flight on a normal carrier was grounded, I spent the night in ORD. Thanks to Spirit I was able to quickly get home the next morning for a small fraction of what the major carriers wanted. Seats were comfortable and trip was hassle free."
Pros: "The crew was very nice. The flight was on-time"
Cons: "Arrived at airport over 2 hours early. Did pre-check in for flight and luggage. Had to wait in line almost an hour to tag luggage. (Many people were frantic in line re: not getting to flight on time) TSA line was all the way down airport. Knew I would not make flight. NO agent to help me while I waited. Tried calling Spirit no-one could help. Got to counter with less than 15 minutes to boarding time. Supervisor was extremely rude and said there was nothing she could do re: TSA line. Said that if I didn't make flight I could get a later flight or pay extra for something different. Went to TSA line and no-one could help. Saw another Spirit rep, while in TSA line. she rudely said "no-way!" and walked away.. Finally, I "seriously" begged and cut in TSA line. Ran. Made it to gate for final boarding call!!!"
Cons: "We had got stuck in traffic on the way to O'hare yet still arrived MORE than 45 minutes before our flight, but the Spirit airlines crew did not even give us the opportunity to ATTEMPT to check in to get our boarding passes. We missed our flight and are now out all of the money we had spent to go enjoy our first wedding anniversary together. This is unacceptable... While I understand that traffic issues fall outside of the airline's responsibility - SHOWING EMPATHY toward our situation could have made things easier, but they didn't - just very cold, non-customer service friendly, garbage. Perhaps if the Spirit airlines team was better at checking people in at the terminal, instead of having a 'who cares' mentality and allowing a 35 person line to be AT A STAND STILL, perhaps we could have made the plane, and I currently could have been writing an amazing review in Florida right now, but I'm not. I am in Indiana, trying to fight with the airline, the travel insurance agency, and others trying to re-coop my losses. this was an overall terrible experience, and I feel like a fool even attempting to try doing this. By all means feel free to contact me to discuss my frustration in person Sean Warren"
Pros: "Friendly staff"
Cons: "There's a a rule that states you can't check in after 45 minutes before your flight. That's annoying and unnecessary. I've ran late before with other airlines, but was able to check in and easily go get on the plane. Even if I didn't make it though because going through security took too long, what's the problem with the agents at the gate having to look for my next flight option? Because of this rule and me running behind for my 9:10 am flight, I missed it, and I had to wait 10 hours in the airport for the next one. Next time I fly, I will be avoiding Spirit airlines if it comes up as an option."
Cons: "I asked for a flight to Minneapolis from Chicago I booked the flight and found out that the flight was from Minneapolis to Chicago. I tried to cancel it and get a refund. That's where my nightmare began. I ended up with 2 flights and then cancelling because it just wasn't worth. I wanted to go visit my son who is incarcerated and wanted to go for a 1 day visit.(ON HIS BIRTHDAY) APRIL 3. If I would have gone I would have only been able to see him for 2 hours. Instead I got screwed out of $120.00. NO flight and NO visitation because you kept my money."
Cons: "had issues booking my seats and luggage online so was charged for help at the ticket counter by the rudest woman I'll ever remember. Paid for upgraded seat on original booking and got stuck in a smaller seat on the way back. Had a comfortable seat up front and some drunk idiot wanted to talk to me so he took the empty seat up front at take off and bugged me the whole trip. I ended up paying more for this flight than any other airline and I'd rather fly with friendlier airlines in the future."
Cons: "I found out my flight was delayed two hours but decided to go to the airport at the appropriate time anyway. It was just a girls weekend so I wasn't in any major rush to get there. As my shuttle is taking me to the airport, I look again to find that my flight has officially went from taking off at 9:14pm to taking off at 12:12pm. When I got to the airport, it was 7pm so I would have to wait for 5 hours. I went to the Spirit counter and asked what time my flight was leaving. The man at the counter says "9:15" so I responded with "okay great so there's no delay then??" He said "yeah there's just a short delay you won't even know" I showed him my phone and asked is 12:12am the time were supposed to leave? And he said "yes". Well, then I was fuming because this customer "support" person completely lied to me. Another quite rude lady said there was absolutely nothing they could do for me and shooed me away. I was also told it was because their technology wasn't reaching flight control. I went to my gate anyway and noticed that the spirit section was completely packed-I'm assuming this issue backed up many flights. After an hour of waiting, they announced that the delay may be even longer. I immediately left because at that point I wouldn't get into my destination until 4am which wasn't worth my short visit to where I was going. Later on in the night, I looked at my phone to see what happened-it ended up being cancelled!!!! What a joke! Bad customer service, bad fees, bad way of handling their flight situations!!! Never again."
Pros: "The cheap cost of the flight"
Cons: "I think Kayak should do a better job of providing information about the airlines they represent. While my flight was only 80 dollars, I ended up spending 100+ dollars extra to carry on my suit. This was my first time flying with Spirit, and if I knew that these extra charges would apply, I would have packed differently. As a student, I do not have any disposable income; I found it very misleading that the price to "fly" and the price to buy a ticket were very different. 80 dollar flight vs. additional 110 dollars to get from point A to point B."
Cons: "I had never flown Spirit before so I did my research prior to my flight. Nowhere did it say online that you are unable to check in to a flight 45 minutes prior to departure. I attempted to check in the previous night and received an error screen, and subsequently missed my flight."
Pros: "paid to sit in exit row - reasonable upgrade price Empty seat next to me because people don't want to pay"
Cons: "Carry on restriction is ridiculous EXPENSIVE - more than American flight once pay for carry on luggage No TSA pre. Security line was long - took about 40 minutes to get through and not really that many people No leg room in regular seats so can hardly make it to bathroom as people are spilling int isle Extra stress - boarding pass made big deal of getting to gate at least 45 minutes befor flight leaves with threat of not getting your seat (which paid for), but stood around for half an hour waiting for them to start boarding."
Cons: "The gate agents in Chicagp were rude and gave us incorrect information. They were chatting with their friends instead of answering our question. Then she told us we could use a different security line. When we went over there, we were told if we were flying spirit we had to use the long one on the other side of the airport! Our flight was then delayed twice, when we asked for an update, the gate agent was again rude, though she did eventually tell there was something wrong with the floor of the plane. Once we were on the plane, we were stuck on it for another 45 minutes before we took off. Baggage claim in Chicago was also a mess. There was only one carasaul and it took about an hour to get our bags. Our ride had to circle for an hour. We will not be flying spirit again."
