Cons: "Well if my future father in law was on the flight it would have been wonderful, but he passed away July 7th, and I did get refunded, and we are mourning his loss and keep getting notifications about the flight and emails which makes it very difficult mentally. So it would be nice if Delta would get their process of refunds especially when it's a death to maybe not get notified. I was the one that purchased the tickets for him in April."

Pros: "The crew made a really uncomfortable situation (maintenance on an antenna for an hour after we had boarded the plane but before we left the gate) bearable. All flight attendants and the pilot and co-pilot were pleasant and sympathetic to the frustration."

Cons: "The boarding process is quite confusing with all the different categories of people prior to the actual listed "zone" boarding. As an example, if you have a "Zone 2" boarding pass, you think you will be second to board when in reality that means you are second to last to board. After those who need extra time, those with small children, active military, premier, whatever.... all that covers about 2/3 of the passengers. Then of course there's all the stepping over those who already boarded which seems to slow the process overall. It would be better to ask these questions when making your reservation. Then, the zones would be appropriate based on how you made your reservation to begin with."

She had about half of the First Class cabin offended as soon as meals started getting served - I didn't see ANYONE around me that got what they asked for, and then when people stated the issue, she didn't respond very well. I tried to take things in stride (first world problems?) but it is a bummer to pay extra for the first class treatment and then to not have that great experience, especially on back to back 5ish hour flights."

Cons: "Flight was scheduled to leave early, the plane arrived, but they couldn't turn the plane around fast enough. We left the gat late, then pilot said we would still be arriving half an hour early. We arrived about 45 minutes late, and that was a problem because our connecting flight was due to depart now in 15 minutes. Lightning forced the airport to shutdown, which was great, we had a chance to catch our flight, but we were stuck in the airplane, and we couldn't get to our gate until the all-clear. I know this is not Delta's fault, but they did arrive quite late on a flight that, according to them, would be early. They also never communicated to the other flight that there were several passengers catching that connection. So by the time we had ran to catch our connection they had closed the ramp. Lightning hit again, and they shutdown the airport once again, so the airplane was still at the gate for about an hour, and they did not allow the 20+ passengers to board that plane, which was right there. So frustrating. The only thing that saved it was that our new flight was the new airbus, and although it left an hour and a half later, the comfort level was phenomenal."

My little girl got the Delta wings pin (including a second one when she lost the first one), and was able to visit the flight deck. Extra kudos for my daughter being able to see a female pilot! :-)"

Pros: "Our flight from ATL to PVD Was canceled after a 3 hour delay and we were left to make our own reservations to PVD.The time was approximately 12 noon (we had been st ATL now for over 4 hours) and without help from Delta we went gate to gate .We happened on a flight to BOS depg 1:50PM (actual dep 3:30PM. We got no help on where our luggage (2 suitcases)was but told it would follow. Landed BOS approx 5:45PM,no luggage! Trained to PVD hoped bags were on a 10:30PM Delta flight. They were but bags were wet and so were some dresses and ladies slacks. Advised luggage person but she was so busy with others looking for their lost bags.Deltahad no control over Wx, but we deserved better service and assistance to make things no so exasperating."

I thought there must be a mistake so I tested it on the way back to L.A. from Minneapolis. I got the same email encouraging me to get my seat early and check in online. The seating chart indicated that the flight was full and only a few middle seats and aisle seats were available. So instead of checking in online I waited to do it at the counter. Sure enough the lady at checkin told me there was plenty of seats and even offered me and my travel companions a whole row so we could sit together. I feel like Sun Country is misleading their customers in order to make a few extra bucks. Lame!"

On top of that when I originally booked my flights, I had made sure to have 1.5 hr for a layover between my connecting flights. Well, they decided to move up my connector such that I had 25 minutes to run across 2 terminals. They only give you pretzels on the plane, and a single soda drink. They offer you "food bundles" but why do I want to pay $8 for a sandwich that costs $1 to make."

We got to the Allegiant desk 35min before departure to get our boarding passes and no luggage to check, and were told we missed the flight because check-in wasn’t allowed anymore. That policy should be made very visible and clear to anyone buying tickets on Allegiance as no other airline does that to passengers. We lost 4 tickets and had to buy tickets for a flight the following day. Horrible experience!"

It's a budget airline so you have to pay for things like refreshments and snacks (also, carryons and if you want you boarding pass printed at the airport) -- but don't let that sway you! All it takes is a little prior organization (we packed a couple of sandwiches and printed our passes at home, plus packed very light). Overall a great experience."

Since I am over 60 years of age, I asked if there was an opportunity in the very back to have an empty seat next to me. Me did find me one and I TOTALLY appreciated it. I used to have the status to have the better seats and it was hard to lose that...this was wonderful. Thanks for making me feel valued."

I know i wasn't the only one upset because everyone around me was trying to sleep and couldn't. We just kept looking at each other like "really? Come on people!" and it wasn't till about halfway during the flight that they came over the intercom telling how to turn off the tv's on the back of the seats. It took the person sitting next to me to use the flashlight on his phone to be able to find the right button on the arm of the chair. After the experience i had, i will never fly United again."

So instead of taking off at 5:40 pm, we took off at 9 pm and still had to catch a bus from Boston to Providence...HORRIBLE Flight = Long Day/Night"
