Flight delayed by more than 9 hours from Doha to Seattle. Passengers were not offered any compensation for the trouble faced
The flights were delayed, food was below average. The aircrafts were really old and poor the flight to India specially from Doha to New Delhi was horrible. The screens were not functional, had poor space and no air conditioning. I expected better service, will not fly qatar again. I will NOT recommended qatar airways to anyone.

Checkin was greuling slow and an excruciating experience at the Indira Gandhi international airport. There were only 4 windows open to check in 300 passengers. It took me 50 mins to get to the window. I was there 3+ hours before departure time upon arrival from my domestic flight that arrived on Terminal 2. Security took another hour and no one from the flight ground staff came looking for me to expedite my security unlike the KLM staff. KLM staff was looking for their passengers going to Frankfurt in the security and immigration area for a good half hour. Also, I tried multiple times the day of my flight to WEB CHECKIN. the Qatar website and APP didn't let me do that either. I nearly missed my flight and was the last one to board!!!! I hope the airlines adapts to handle larger volume of passengers given the type of Airport rules and regulations. For example, IGA at New Delhi has an additional Immigration step before security that added an additional 45 min to my time to board the plane. Thank you and I hope a real human actually reads this survey response and it doesn't end up being processed by a computer bot that lacks human compassion and emotional IQ.

United airlines ground staff at Indira Gandhi International airport New Delhi didn't let me board the flight. I am a Candian citizen returninv to canada got my covid-19 rt pcr test done less than 72 hours from my flight from newark to toronto as per the regulations of Canadian Government and also the united airlines app, also uploaded all the documentation and were approved by travel ready centre of united airlines app , my wife talk to one of the representatives over the phone in Canada he said the same that I can board the flight and there will be no problem as I had enough time to get my prc test done at Liberty international airport if required by staff at Newark airport, yet the ground staff ignored all this and didn't let me board the flight and told me to catch a direct flight of some other airline. They themselves are not aware of the rules properly. I had to go back soon as my wife and new born son is alone and nobody to take care of them but United airlines gave me this hassle for no reason and have to come back all the way from New Delhi to Chandigarh make fresh arrangements for travel and have to go to dubai and do all the tests over again. I wish I could rate the experience in negative.
If you plan to fly United and want to watch a movie, plan to bring both types of headsets. ( 1 for smart phones, 1 old school headset). My flight going required the old school headset, except the seat I was in had a broken port and since subtitles were not available, I had to watch my movie without sound(fun!). On the way back, United offered the United app where you can access movies from your smart phone, except I didn’t bring smart head phones. Since I watched a silent movie going, how much worse could it get? Well, it got worse since no movie would even load. The crew explained that we were traveling over water and that was the reason, but I tried on and off for the whole flight and the movie never loaded so that reason sounds like bullshit.

Cons: "My connecting flight was delayed by 4 hours due tknsmong in India. I called United ahead of time to tell them I was not able to make my flight and if there was anyway I could get a new ticket. The representative was confident that 40 minutes between my flights at Delhi was enough time to make it despite me reminding her about the time it took to get off the plane, pick up my luggage, get through immigrations and travel to my terminal. She was very wrong. She insisted I call them when I land and that I go to the ticket booth. Little did she know that once I miss my flight my ticket is no longer valid and I was no longer able to enter the airport in India. Once I reached the entrance I was directed to a Untied booth all the way at the end of the terminal and was told to buy a new ticket. There was no United representative at this booth. I waited 3 hours and even called the number posted at the booth. No one picked up and no one came. I had wasted several hours. I ultimately decided to buy a ticket online spending another thousand dollars to get back home when I was told that I would be given a new ticket at the booth by United. But I had to wait another 24 hours outside the airport because I was not allowed in so early prior to my flight. Very unprofessional and unhelpful when I needed it the most."
