Pros: The boarding process was nice because Star Alliance gold members can board early and get miles for the flights. They also had lots of movie options. Decent flight.
Cons: I bought my ticket on kayak because on the search filter, it said 1 carry-on bag and 1 check-in bag but after the e-ticket was issued it said that it was a no luggage and no meal ticket. I had to pay excess in baggage fees ($100 AUD for 1 check in bag) and during the flight, all you get is coffee, tea or water. You have to pay for meals or soft drinks. I think if I bought on air New Zealand website, I would’ve gotten a better idea of all the fare types and pay a little bit more to get the proper amenities.

Cons: ANZ changed the flight time to 3 hours EARLIER, and they sent NO notification of the change. Missed the flight, and there were no ANZ staff to help, so had to buy a new ticket ( to the tune of $1700.)

Pros: We fly a lot and have flown American, European, Asian airlines but this has to be the best experienxe ever. First, their checkin is all automated, even baggage. That makes the lines really short. Their staff standing by to help at every moment. When we used another airline in Australia Jetstar, we waited in line for one hour and then were scolded for being late! We even had to pay for our water and the staff took turn scolding us over our overhead bin stuff. Boarding of NZ airline was so comfortable, without pushing or crowds. Staff always welcoming you with a smile. Seats are wide and we were given free drinks, free headohones, and wait for it.... free dinner! And all served so politey and in the most gracious manner as if we were their guests. We were so taken back by their service and this was the aecond time we have flown with them in 10 days. My young daughter thought may be their staff gets paid more so they seem to be so much more happy. I also think that there is something when you dehumanize your customers by charging them for water and being uncaring to their needs. The staff also starts to treat the customers as cattle. Besides Southwest Airlines, I havent come across one another airline where the staff treat their custmoers with reapect while charging them for water. So airlines, take note. I would pay $50 per ticket extra just to be in NZ airline.

When kayak directed me to VA, I made the purchase and certainly did not remember being offered a chance to purchase baggage fee as other airlines offer (e.g. BA). While I understand kayak refer users to search airlines baggage fees it need to make sure that airlines offer true and baggage fees at the time of purchase so the full cost of flight is clear at purchase time.

Cons: Flight was an hour late leaving. This caused me to miss the connection in Sydney (even though its gate was still shown as open when we arrived. There were a quite a few passengers booked on the connecting flight but Qantas made no attempt to get us on board it and instead re-booked us for the next flight which was scheduled for 2.5 hours later but, in fact, left nearly 3.5 hours later. Breakfast consisted of rubber egg.

Pros: The staff did the best they could to accommodate everyone on a full flight in economy. The passenger in front of me had a failed entertainment system and the staff handled it very well.
Cons: The leg room is obviously minimal in economy but compared to Singapore Airlines this was cramped and when the seat in front reclines it's almost impossible to find a comfortable position if you're over 5 foot 9! food was below par.

While booking the tickets mine and my wife’s full details such as the Name, Nationality and Passport were given. In spite of this nowhere was it mentioned in the Quantas terms and conditions or any prompt/popup given while booking the tickets that Australian transit visa is required for Indians since the flight is via Australian city. I had booked the tickets well in advance and had enough time to get transit visa had there been any information about it mentioned. On 1st December 2016 when we went to the Changi airport we were not allowed to board the plane as we did not have the Australian transit visa. We were told by Quantas personnel at the airport to go to the Australian embassy in Singapore to get the transit visa and that we would get it within a day. Next day we went to the embassy and found that the Australian visa is done by VFS global at a different address. When went there they informed us that Australian visa takes minimum 5 days. I had all my hotel bookings in New Zealand already done hence I had no choice to take a direct Singapore Auckland flight via Singapore Airlines at a very high price on the next day. I also lost one day of my hotel booking in Auckland and had to forfeit the money. I and my wife had to go through the psychological trauma of being refused to board the plane, then the next day running around the Australian embassy / VFS global office for trying to get the Australian transit visa and facing the uncertainty regarding our new Zealand trip which was planned well in advance for our 25th wedding anniversary

Attendant said it was because tickets bought too close to take off don't get to pick seats, but we bought our tickets about three weeks before. Also, my boyfriend and I sat in a full row while the row in front of us only had one person. It would've made more sense to put that person in one of our seats and us in that row to give four people more space instead of just one.

Cons: My original flight from IND to LGA was cancelled due to weather and I was rebooked for the next day. I was forced to spend a night in a hotel near the airport. Then my flight the next day kept being delayed, first 5 min, then 20, then 40, etc until 2.5 hrs. Since the delays kept increasing, I decided to rebook on another flight with a very tight connection in Detroit--the only other option. When my flight arrived, the other fight was already boarding and I ran to make it. Luckily I got to the gate in time, just before the door closed. The original flight ended up with a 3.5 hr delay!!! That is unacceptable.

Pros: I have been traveling at least 4 times in a year for last 20 years. I never had such a worst staff specially the Msnager of Fiji airline ground staff at Sydney airport named Christopher. Such a rude ignorant person. The amount of luggage including baby stroller I traveled from Los Angeles to Nadi. Nadi to Sydney was perfectly fine. When I checkin from Sydney to los angles, the Fiji manager said you have to pay for stroller. I said I came all the way from Los Angeles to Sydney like that and I even showed the tags too, Christopher said Sydney has different policy. I left the stroller to him and Saud to him keep it for your kids and came back home without baby stroller.

Pros: My flight to Los Angeles was great comfortable seats and the food was very good
Cons: Unfortunately my flight from Los Angeles to Christchurch was cancelled the plane had a mishap on the runway colliding with another plain so was booked on an Air New Zealand flight back to Auckland the following night it was good of Fiji air to put me up in the Crowne Plaza near airport lovely hotel

Cons: sitting in a plane at Sydney airport for three hours waiting for a part,for the plane was not much fun.But we still got to Apia that day,or maybe late but before 12 midnight was a very long day.

Pros: They had vegetarian options at every in-flight meal. Heaven! Flight staff were all extremely attentive and polite.
Cons: Seats are cramped (as with most budget travel) and entertainment options were not very good. Movies were mainly very old and games not very interesting.

Pros: Boarded on time. Good flight. The curry chicken was spicy, but good. Concerns on weight totals for luggage for checked (50 lbs) and carry-on bag (15 lbs). Never weighed either bag. Was prepared though just in case they did weigh, as we’d read about $150 overweight surcharge.

Cons: My Fiji flights between Honolulu and Auckland were cancelled so they rebooked me on Jetstar and New Zealand Airways Apparently the international date line was not taken into account and I arrived in Sydney hours after my connecting flight to Auckland had already left! I talked to 7 different people in all corners of Sydney airport and no one knew what to do with me. My attempts to call Fiji Airways from my cell phone and then a landline at the airport didn't go through so I ended up messaging a friend in the States and she was able to call and get me booked on a NZ Air flight to Auckland that left the next morning. Both Jetstar and NZ Air gave me different information on what paperwork I needed and what my baggage and carry-on allowance was, which was frustrating. I finally arrived in Auckland 26 hours later than scheduled. I understand the cyclone cancelling the Fiji flights but the rescheduling error caused some significant expenses and a great deal of hassle.

Pros: Everything was fantastic,,,to being on tine, to boarding and to service thru out the flight. Five star airline!

Cons: They were a minimum 45 minutes late (one 2 hour, 2 one hour) for every flight. Their running late caused us to miss our connection to Brisbane, so they sent us to Sydney. The ,late flight into Sydney cause us to miss our flight into Brisbane (our ticketed destination city). As we de-planed on the Jetway was a woman holding a sign with 12 - 114 names on it, we were one. She told us to go the the transfer desk and they would help us. We had never been in Sydney, could not find a transfer desk (there was none) found the ticketing counter - nobody there, found the airline office - nobody there, went back to the ticket counter nobody still there, asked a competing airline, they directed us to an air travel management office, where we found Fiji Air personnel. They were surprised we were not told where to go. they tracked down the office manager. We finally met with him at 1:40 PM, he told us our flight was in the domestic terminal and scheduled to leave at 2:00 PM. There was no way we could make it to the plane on time. He was rather rude to us and asked us how we thought we were getting to Brisbane, We responded with "I don't know as we've never been here before". Having never been there. we did not know there was an international and a domestic terminal at the Sydney airport. He told us who we were to fly out on and he was going to call over to the other airline and straighten it out. We went to the domestic terminal tried to check in for our flight, but we could not. That airline called Fiji Air to find out why, after half an hour they were told Fiji Air would not honor our flight as we were noted as "no Shows"/. We had to book another flight to Brisbane. The flights were great, we have had VERY BAD EXPERIENCES with the ground personnel,

Pros: Thank you for allowing 1 free bag since many carriers now charge even for the 1st one. Hot meal was good but serving curry may not appeal to all passengers.
Cons: The lines were long to check our bags. I enjoyed the chicken curry meal but other people did not like it since it was a little spicy.

Cons: The space between seats is exceptionally small. It was cramped without even enough room to bend over and pick something up off the floor.

Pros: Staff and food were great, the flight was also very smooth. I would definitely still fly with Fiji airways, I think the delay just made everything seems worse.
Cons: We were delayed over 3 hours. The intercom didn't work very well and the entertainment system was pretty much out of order. Also one of the toilet doors wouldn't lock.

Cons: Online booking, telephone reservations and ticket office staff. Booked 2 tickets in my name, couldn't get corrected passenger's name corrected by online or telephone then went to office and after hour wait and several calls to superiors wanted to charge me to correct their system's error!

Pros: Professional and friendly crew. My 8th international flight in business class with 3 different airlines and Fiji Airways crew beat them hands down. Loved the Fiji Chicken curry.

Cons: Missed the flight! I find it ridiculous you do not get a "Check In Online" email from Fiji Airways if you do not book directly through them. That, to me, is insane. All Fiji Airways passengers, whether they booked directly or not, should get that email.

Pros: Got us to Nadi safely.
Cons: We had a banana from LAX airport and intended to eat it on the 13-hour overnight flight. Unfortunately we forgot about it. The customs at Nadi found it on X-ray and slapped us with FJ$400 fine! One of the Fijian bio security officer told us that "by handing out big fines, we hope the airlines will remind passengers of biosecurity rules...". But Fijian airways failed to do that. $400 fine is a horrible start of your vacation and we will never come back to visit Fiji. We will also advise all our friends not to visit Fiji on facebook.

Cons: I was not given a meal for dinner. When I asked they sheepishly looked away from me and told me that there would be a voucher when we landed. We did not get any voucher,nor did they make an announcement that they ran out of food and would not be able to feed half of the plane. I am extremely disappointed in how this was handled, as people next to me were given first class meals and I was given one piece of cheese and one cracker. In the morning for breakfast my meal almost didn't come, I had to ask for it. And when it was given to me it was already opened and messed with.

Cons: Seats are narrow for some people. It can be uncomfortable if the person in front reclines their seat, since the rows are close together.

Cons: Many glitches in the reservations process: my flight records were messed up on 3 flights. Recommend allowing a LOT of extra time for check in if you fly Fiji!

Cons: Well, my flight was delayed for an hour and a half and it seemed like the airlines mistake, not weather. It's going to make me over 2 his late to a concert, which is the main reason I came here. So hopefully they let me in, or I just spent $300 for nothing.

Pros: The crew was very courteous and helpful, they seemed to have a positive attitude and worked with passengers like they really enjoyed their job.
Cons: There was a 3 hour delay outbound and a 9 hour delay inbound. On the inbound flight I was put up in a nice hotel for the day and given a $30 meal voucher. However I missed my connecting flights and had to be put up when I got back to the States. Despite getting in at 10pm I was put on a 5am flight.

Cons: Late. Again. For no good reason.

Cons: Well the flight was delayed out of Indy and then due to some emergency at Ohare, we taxied for at least 30 minutes causing me to be late for my connecting flight and now I'm still here waiting for my new flight which is delayed.

Cons: The plane was not full. I sat in row 32 with two people on either side of me. In the row in front of me there were no people in it. What’s up with that? We also sat on the tarmac at the time that we were supposed to be deplaning. We were waiting on another plane to back out of the gate for 10 minutes. What’s up with that?? American Airlines, get your act together!!!!!

Cons: I wish American offered more vegan and wheat/ gluten free options, as well as herbal tea options. I was determined to sleep during this flight, but I was hoping this plane would have the TV behind the chair. I enjoy watching the live map as we’re flying.

Cons: Flight itself was good, but will never book via JustFly again. 2/3 of my flights were cancelled and I was never notified. Then I had to call to reschedule, which took almost an hour. Then they stated they would send my confirmation via email 24-48 hours. 3 days later and the confirmation still never came. SO I had to call again and wait another half hour. No point in booking through a 3rd party for that type of hassle.

Cons: American has gone to these thin seats so that they can cram more cattle into the back. They are absolutely the most uncomfortable seats I've ever had the displeasure of being forced to sit in, and unless you're willing to pay even more for "premium" seats, you won't even have enough space to sit. I will never, never, ever give American Airlines another penny.

Cons: I didn't like how we were 20 minutes early yet after 1.5 hours of sitting on the Tarmac that I missed my connection by a few minutes. I wish the crew hadn't falsely informed the passengers onboard that the other planes would be delayed with the communication issue @ Reagan (DC).

Pros: I liked the smooth ride, and engaging captain. We didn't hit much turbulence, even if it is uncontrollable. Takeoff and landing was smooth and put my worries about flying to rest.

Pros: Senior flight attendant and pilots were friendly and competent as were the checkin personnel. We also appreciated the fact that the flight was on schedule. Lastly, we were pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and comfort of coach.
