The flights with ANA were great. The flights with United, not so much.
It was so disappointed trip by unexpected company's fault delay. It had taken 3 hours delay for mechanical maintenance plus another 3 hours for bad weather.
SEA HND sector internet only worked for the last 2.5hrs of flight….. never had this kind of incident with other airlines
The boarding process, food is one of the best, seats are roomier with better leg room.. the attendants are nice and accommodating…

The cabin was hot. I was sweating during the whole trip.
Crew were efficient and friendly. But my seat was very uncomfortable . Was seated at last row window seat 27. Too cramp
We did not receive our special meal request (vegetarian). The crew was apologetic but then kept interrupting me at least 6 times to ask to see my email or access the web to show verification. (I did not have internet access while on the plane). They kept asking the same questions and taking down the same information. It became exasperating. I understand these errors occur but the constant questioning was disrupted and only compounded the error.

The flight crew were very helpful. The seats were very close together. There was barely room to sit without touching the person next to you.
I’m an EP on AA every year for more than a decade but this was a very pleasant and surprising experience. Clean and sizable plane for HOU to CHI. 5 row first class. And excellent food in first class the steak option was really good. Your flight attendants even better. Seat 5A
The pilot was late so we didn’t take off til almost 2 hours late.
The international portion was good. Food and beverage options were good. The sustainable wooden eatery was less than desirable. Your Star Alliance partner ANA provided real silverware. I'm 6'3" & 198 lbs and felt cramped in the exit row. How can that be? Flight attendant all had a pleasant disposition which is always good.
Overall flight was ok. Flight attendant was receptive to assisting passengers with tight connections.
This was the first flight in the morning. We boarded fine. The cabin door was closed and we were ready to go. We were notified by the Captain that ATC issued and ground stop for 40 minutes. So, without even pushing back from the gate, we were already 40 minutes late. We actually were released to push-back and taxi at 30 minutes. But, some passengers had tight connections and were not going to make their connections. Some passengers asked about the delay and the effect on the connections and were told by the cabin attendant that all flights will be delayed and so they should be OK. However, that was not true. My connecting flight was on time and I arrived at IAH with 21 minutes to make my connection. I did and I'm happy about that, but the flight crew should not have given assurances to the passengers who might have missed their connections.
The aircraft was older, had limited entertainment options and no wifi on board. The flight attendants weren't the friendliest, but they were okay. Overall an okay flight.
It was so uncomfortable for 14 straight hours it was torture

The flight was short and that was the best part. The flight was about 90 minutes delayed.
Flight went very well. Cabin crew were all courteous and very helpful, always with smiles on their faces. Food was great. I always love heated nuts with wine. Flying business class with Philippine Airlines is always a pleasant experience.
Great food selection in lounge. Excellent bartender, friendly staff. Good service on the plane.
Check in process was excellent. Lounge needs improvement. Food not palatable and no good choices.
It was never explained why the departure flight was canceled and delayed for 1.5 hours. It would have been nice to stick with the original itinerary.
Many movies do not have captions, which would have been helpful when you have to live with the flight engine noise.

The flight was fantastic and the crew was absolutely excellent, but the entertainment system on the B777 was not working. That's a long time to spend with no electronics. The crew offered I-Pads but I had brought my own. I am only pointing this out because this is the second flight on Philippines Air where the entertainment system was down. FJM
The checking in agent tried to give me a different seat. She tried to give me an economy seat even though I had already checked in with a seat assigned and paid an extra $300 for those seats. She also separated our seating assignment. Very unprofessional and seriously a bad example for an agent. She was rude when I showed her my receipts and she made us wait more than 15 minutes before we were able to get the right boarding passes and correct seats (seats that we paid for in advance)!!!
