Pros: The flight never occurred. The first leg of my flight from Ho Chi Minh was cancelled and I was not informed. I discovered this when I went to check in. I called Kayak to resolve this since I had confirmation of the booking and was placed on hold. After 2 HOURS I hung up. At roughly 4:00 am I spoke with someone at Kayak who confirmed the flight was cancelled and that I was not contacted. An offer was made to put me on another flight a day later but that was impossible because of needing another Covid test. I was able to arrange another flight that was more expensive.
Cons: I would like to be reimbursed the difference in flight cost since I was not informed about the flight cancellation.

Cons: The whole entire class system that they are beholden to as if we're still living in feudal Japan. Swiss & Lufthansa serves more meals and at higher quality than JAL. The drinks were also blah. JAL focuses more on their Business Class and First Class Passengers. Even their luggage comes in first.

Cons: The dinner meal was not what I requested. A roll with breakfast would have helped. The shrimp was good what was under them was not so good. We had to wait tell last minute to sit together.

Pros: I was very surprised Japan Airlines staffs welcomed at boarding gate in Chubu Centrair,Nagoya with friendly smiles, chocolate and a mask for the upcoming flight. Also very comfortable seat, friendly crews during flight. One of the best flight !

Pros: Japan Airline is a notch above the rest. The services was constant and consistent, the food was delicious and abundant, and the seats were comfortable. I was surprised at how often they would go up and down the aisles checking on passengers, picking up trash, and serving small food items. To top it off towards the end of the trip they put toothbrushes in the bathroom so you can leave fresh, awesome.
Cons: I really dont have a negative things to say, I was really happy with the service. Especially since I hate flying this make the trip so bearable.

Pros: The flight from Jakart to Japan, Japan to Chicago, was not a problem. Although thr food was typical plane food.
Cons: My brother and his wife had to wait 12 hrs for plane delay,just to hear that AA canceled all flight for that date. The crew told my brother and his wife to wait for another12 hours which is the next morning, for next flight. My brother decided to just take a rental car to KZO, and was going to just take their luggage from the airline, but the AA crew would not let them did so, and was really rude. It was very traumatic experience for the both of them and other passangers of how bad they treated this plane delay/cancellation issue. One passenger with baby was having a panic attack, but nothing was done. So far, no compensation, or apology email has been sent. Will never take this airline anymore. We are done.

Pros: When I checked in for my connecting flight from Tokyo Narita to New York, the crew said there was no more seat on economy class. She was making sure that I got on the plane by placing me on the premium economy seat. I appreciate the effort and the courtesy of JAL.

Pros: I liked that the seats were a 2-4-2 configuration. Most American carriers will have a 3-5-3 seating configuration. JAL has won some prestigious seat awards in 2015 for innovation and comfort.
Cons: The JAL website specified most trans-atlantic flights with the newer and more spacious seating in Premium Economy. Departing from San Diego, this was only an option once a year I was told at the check in counter. I was counting on extra width and legroom as I am 270 lbs and 73" tall. I was disappointed that these up-gradable seats were not available. I also did not like that we sat on the Oksaka tarmac at a divert airport from Narita (Tokyo) and were not given an option to leave the plane and find alternate transportation of our choice to get us to our destination. I understand the high winds and bad weather was not allowing us to land on time, but we sat on the tarmac for 2 1/2 hours and then left to fly into Narita 5 hours late.

Cons: We couldn't land in Narita due to bad weather, so we did emergency landing to Haneda to refuel and go back to Narita. But after we got off in Narita, the immigration is chaos. Nobody arranging it and people just going wild, nobody knows where the line should begin. We spent 2 hours plus in the imigration line. So from the scheduled time to arrive at Tokyo 5pm, we get to our Hotel at 2am. Good job Narita airport!

Cons: During the same trip I discovered 2 different arrangements of the Business Class cabin on Singapore Airlines A350, SQ469 CMB-SIN, and SQ036 SIN-LAX. On the SQ036, I occupied seat 15 A (mono, aisle-window): I did not understand the reasoning behind this layout: Seat facing straight the front of the aircraft, but not enough space to stretch the legs, and limited height for the footrest, feet getting hurled against a ceiling very quickly, and also footrest only on one side = one foot. The deep cavity, that is probably meant to house the lie-flat disposition, is at a 45° angle with the general direction of the seat. I am 77 and not in any way a contortionist. I decided that the best course of action was to remain seated for the duration of the 14:30 hours, flight without extending my legs. Maybe the crew could have explained how the passenger is supposed to fit into that weird design, but I did not ask, afraid that the demonstration might reawaken chronic shoulder and hip pain. I would be glad to read (not test) how this configuration is supposed to convey the sense of comfort expected from a Business Class ticket. It did nothing of the kind for me.

Cons: Plane condition: Cosmetic plastic panel below monitor and seat back pocket on Seat 31E fell off when foot rest was lowered; had previously been secured by adhesive tape. Panel removed by crew. In-flight entertainment system: Persistent intermittent loss of sound while listening to movie or TV program. Food: Tried to use "Book the Cook" feature touted by Singapore's website. Was unable to get on site for that purpose. The last try a message appeared (late September) that site was being "rebuilt." On the flight, there was no menu of choices; we were offered 3 vaguely worded choices which boiled down to beef, chicken or vegetables. Those appeared in not particularly appetizing forms and combinations--P.S., we like east and southeast Asian cooking and had just spent 3 weeks in Japan. Failure to provide information about possible delays due to WRG deplaning location at LAX: Although we are frequent fliers to and from LAX, we'd never heard of the WRG. It would have been helpful if the crew had informed us upon arrival that there could possibly be a wait on the plane as buses were used to transport us approximately 1/2 mile to TBIT. Generally: We chose Singapore because of its reputation for excellence. Belying the name of the class, both Turkish AL and Air NZ treated Premium Economy passengers as "junior" business class. Singapore treated us as coach with a roomier cabin and seating pitch.

Cons: First experience with Singapore where the crew made a negative impression. As soon as the plane pulled away from the terminal, crew members seemed rushed and frantic, literally running back and forth from Economy Premium to the galley gathering items. Approximately every 7-10 minutes, crew members would be running back and forth next to my seat with heavy foot steps, which would wake me up. I also noticed that certain crew members were shouting at passengers to get their attention instead of lowering themselves to be heard. One flight attendant almost spilled orange juice on me because she turned around too fast trying to serve drinks. I'm not sure if they were short-staffed, or if it was the influence of a certain crew boss, but something was definitely wrong.

Pros: I will only use Singapore Air for anywhere they fly. They really care about their passangers, 2 checked bags 1 carryon no charge, no airline does that. They constantly feed u & alcoholic beverages all at no extra charge. Flight attendants always have a smile on their flight. In flight entertainment was great, touch screen and remote controller. They supply earbuds, socks, toothbrush and paste.

They meals are great and very satisfying. The planes are big and roomy even in economy seats. On our return flight we had a brand new plane which had a sleek touch screen monitor and controller. There mad tons of media available (articles, language games, games, movies, tv shows and more) with USB ports to charge devices on each seat. Plus 10inch personal monitors. Earbuds were included free of charge, aswell as socks toothbrush and tooth paste. They have is two big meals on our direct flight (awesome that they have direct flights). Plus, they offered free snacks too and gave us a full can of soda vs. a small cup. They come through several times offering coffee, tea, water and snacks. All free of charge. This was my first time flying Singapore Airlines and I loved it!!! I wish Everyone was this amazing! Norwegian Airlines was the opposite as far as charging for everything! Had to pay each stop for any luggage ($100 per checked bag). No meals free or charge. They wanted money for everything! And yea a skimpy sandwich was $9.00 :(.

Pros: The staff was amazing and attentive. My surfboards arrived safe and sound... And on time. I will most definitely fly Singapore Airlines again, as often as I can. Thank you.

Pros: I have never encountered nicer more professional staff. They always had smiles and seemed to really enjoy their jobs. I always tell friends if they have a chance to fly Singapore Airlines to do it. They won't regret it. Especially on long flights.

Cons: We were supposed to fly back to Los Angeles from Tokyo on Wednesday, August 24th. We got to Tokyo Narita a little later than planned due to the Narita Express train being delayed. I had received emails that our flight had changed gates, and was then delayed, but when my sister and I went to check into our flight, we were told we were unable to board because it was too late. I thought it was absurd because the flight had not even started boarding, and I had gotten an email saying it was delayed. We tried to reason with them, but they would not let us on the flight. It was imperative that we got back to Los Angeles on Wednesday, but all our plans were ruined due to them bumping us off the flight. My sister had a connecting flight to Boston, which she then had to reschedule and was charged for. We were stuck another night in Tokyo, where we had to spend money on a hotel. The Singapore Airlines attendants eventually informed us that we could get on a flight the next day. This delayed us by 24 hours, which was highly inconvenient. It was also especially unnecessary since due to the flight being delayed, we would have absolutely been able to make it. I do not appreciate being bumped off of a flight due to airlines wanting to make more money, especially being stuck overseas. Its not like it was a domestic flight where we could just hop on another one in the next few hours, this totally derailed all of our plans. I do not appreciate the inflexibility of the Singapore Airlines agents, and this is not an experience that makes me want to recommend flying with Singapore Airlines. I appreciate that they did not charge us, however it was a major inconvenience that could have simply been avoided by better customer service and understanding.

Pros: I like that I could check in 2 suitcase and able to choose my sitting when it's available.

Cons: This trip was not quite as excellent as my flights on Singapore Airlines usually are; however, I cannot say for sure there was much that airline staff could have done to change this. A great deal of turbulence earlier in the flight made it difficult to enjoy the food. Also, there was a sewage-like smell that wafted through the air periodically - this could have been a child in the surrounding seats, though. Both of these issues seem difficult for the airline staff to address, however, unless the smell actually came from a problem with the ventilation system. The staff was exceptionally helpful and good-natured, though, which made the biggest difference. Thank you so much.

Pros: I would definitely fly with Singapore again. Their staff is super attentive, they have lots of options for in-flight entertainment and things generally went smoothly. I didn't sign up for a special allergy meal ahead of time but they were able to accommodate me anyways.
Cons: The food was overcooked, mushy and tasted old. The seats were small and didn't recline very much. I think these things are kind of normal now on most airlines.

Cons: I bought my seat assignment in advance, and they did not give me this seat on the plane. Before boarding, I asked at the gate if my new seat was a window--which is what I paid for--and they confirmed yes, my new seat was a window. Turns out, it was not, it was a middle seat. I asked a flight attendant to relocate me to a window seat, which she kindly did, however this seat was quite uncomfortable as I was seated next to a large gentleman who probably should have been required to purchase two seats. Overall, there were two issues with Qatar Airways during this trip: they did not give me the seat I had requested and paid for, and then lied when I asked if my new seat was a window.

Pros: The crew was exceptional! Seat was comfortable and extra seat not occupied next to me giving me extra elbow room also in addition to sufficient leg room.
Cons: I would have a few suggestions but it would rise the price of ticket significantly. We got what we paid for.

Cons: I was given incorrect date and missed my flight. I had to spend 750 £ and buy a flight from another airline to get home

Pros: The food was OK, but not really as good as what we had received on other airlines. Example, on one flight I had a fish dish which was overcooked very dry and there was no sauce of any kind to make it palatable. I do not like to throw food away but half way into the meal I had enough. Other than that Qatar Airlines was really first class. The flight attendants were the best we have ever experienced. Their dress was immaculate, they were very friendly and attentive and were there to make the flight as comfortable as possible plus cater to all requests.
Cons: The food which was generally very bland and without any taste. Sauces with some of the dishes would be helpful.

Pros: The layover was hell. They put me in a warehouse with wooden benches for beds. Never again

All of it could be easily conveyed discreetly but he seemed to be least bothered!

Pros: On business class, so service was extraordinary

Cons: The seat from Jakarta to Doha, especially the head/neck holder was uncomfortoble. Too big and stiff and wasn’t on the right possition even though it is adjustable. One of the crew didn’t say anything, not even smile after she opened the curtain between bussiness and economy class at row J K L. She just walked away.

Cons: The food options was bad...during my trip asked for certain meal they claim that they are out of it. I also did not like how they check you into room in Doha & Chennai way before boarding time that time could have used for shopping instead of sitting in the room.

Cons: On a 16 hour journey, we only had 2 meals and no snacks. I usually fly Lufthansa. They provide 2 meals and a third snack (usually a pizza) and keep additional snacks and drinks fully stocked in the back of the plane. None of that existed on this flight. The crew was very uninterested. Seemed very absent and not into assisting patrons. Overall, not what I have experienced on prior Qatar Airways flights. To add insult to injury, I was sitting next to an EXTREMELY smelly person, which didn't make the experience any easier :( Not the airlines responsibility to ensure patrons exercise proper hygiene, but that didn't help the situation with my hungry growling stomach.

Cons: Before our trip we called Kayak service desk with the request to reserve our seats. The answer obtained was that we should do it online. When we went online there were almost no more seats available so we decided to go to the check in counter in the airport. Although we were more than 3 hours in advance in the airport there were almost no seats available. We were very disappointed about this service, we never experienced this with any other airline companies...

Pros: Seats are comfortable with plenty of leg space. Aircrafts were clean and tidy. Landing and take off were smoothest I have ever experienced.
Cons: Menu choice was very basic and quantity was also poor. Food quality was below par in terms of taste and presentation. In-flight crew was inefficient and flow. Meal trays laid on meal tables for hours after the passengers finished food. Flight attendants literally responded in over 30 min of call. I pressed special meals online before boarding. However, the flight attendants were not sure. They went back to kitchen to verify that and return with the ordered meal.

Pros: As always, Qatar Airways has new planes, comfortable seats, clean atmosphere, and pretty good leg spaces. They fly on time and land on time.
Cons: 1. Food - It was not that great, especially if you are allergic to cold. It applies to asthmatic patients like me. You have very limited choices. The only hot item in my whole tray was "chicken mixed rice". Everything else from yoghurt to fruits went waste. Can we have HOT FOODS for people like me? 2. Flight Attendants - It seemed that the flight attendants were not so experienced at handling customers. Plus, several of them had poor English. That would have been okay if they had patience to listen to me slowly. But, they seemed to be in hurry and not wait enough to understand my request properly. I was asking HOT WATER and they were repeatedly handing me COLD WATER. Plus, they could see me breathing heavily and feeling great discomfort. Nobody asked me 'ARE YOU OKAY?". It seemed, they didn't care for customers like me. I found a serious lack of CUSTOMER RESPONSIVENESS, forget PRO-ACTIVENESS among several flight attendants. Finally, I found an example of SNOBBERY in the plane. A flight attendant was asking a couple sitting next to me to fill up the FEEDBACK FORM. They looked like from Middle East but were British citizens. They didn't talk to me even though I volunteered at frist to introduce myself. The lady was especially rude to me. They were dressed like high class folks. That's it. They neither represented the hundreds of passengers, especially Indians, in the Economy Cabin, nor were they friendly to fellow passengers. It left me with a feeling that Qatar Airways attendants were judging a book by cover and asking the wrong persons to fill the form who didn't really represent their majority customers for that cabin.

Pros: For the most part it really was a most excellent flight, especially the Dubai to SF leg where there were SO MANY CHILDREN around [should get a free upgrade just for surviving that] but the flight crew did exceptionally well and remained calm all the way through. Apart from one grumpyish woman on the second flight the majority of crew were exceptional and really went out of their way to serve and help.
Cons: I slashed my finger fairly painfully on a toilet door while pushing it from the outside to open it on the Dubai to Cape Town flight [again, an upgrade on my home flight which is a bucket list dream would more than make up for that!] which i pointed out to a flight attendant and they took note of it and bandaged me up so it was dealt with well but hopefully that gets sorted out [she said she would write a report] cos it did unfortunately affect the rest of my flight a little... And so many crying babies [thankful for volume control on headphones] but literally that was it - love flying Emirates cos on the whole felt super well treated...

Flight took off at 10 am so perhaps first meal should have been lunch. - Heard another passenger requesting veg. meal but crew said they don't have any extras and only serve special meals for those who request before. For a flight in which 60-70% of passengers are Indians, some extra vegetarian meals should be available (for those who do not know how to book it in advance).

They shouldnt be screaming for hours, kicking seats and the plane window, ignoring and talking back to flight attendants etc. What terrible parents. They left the plane a mess too with food and trash all over the place.

Cons: Checkin associate at SFO was rude and told me that only light baggage is allowed in the plane during borading noticed several passengers with larger bags and sometime two bas as well. I was told I can only take one bag. This caused me to change my plans on what I can carry on my two small bags. This is also the reason why had to take a small handbag to keep everything I needed. I lost this bag at New Delhi airport. Had I been allowed the the standard tote and a laptop bag I may not have needed the extra hand bag and may not have lost my items. Emirates associate is partailly responsible for my lost items.

Pros: We started with a 45 min wait on the tarmac before takeoff. Then spent 14h listening to screaming children. Now, I know that isn't the airlines fault, but it would be nice to see where children are sitting when booking on such a long flight! Once we landed, the girl next to me got sick and when I flagged a flight attendant, she simply told me there's a barf bag in the seat pocket - there wasn't - so I had to part the crowd to get that lady to a bathroom. Then it took 45 min to get off the plane! The food was okay and there was plenty to watch (couldn't read due to screaming children). It was a really rough flight.

Pros: The vegan meals were very good and tasty. I enjoyed the entertainment provided and the plane was very clean. At times the plane was very cold, however the blanket helped with that. It wasn't this flight but the flight from Tanzania to Dubai, the crew sprayed the plane and I would like to know what was sprayed as it was awful and what if any chemicals were sprayed on us. Perhaps it would be better to spray the plane before the passengers board the plane.
Cons: There was only one flight attendant would didn't assist my friend when we asked her to please take my friend's food tray away. My friend Emily Bayne was having a major discomforting eye allergy attack. Emily eyes were burning, dry, turning red, and very itchy and she wanted to go to the bath room to run warms water over her eyes, however she had the food tray and so we push the attendant help button. But when the flight attendant came to see what we needed and we asked if she could please take Emily's food tray, she just said I will come back later for that. So I told Emily just go to the bathroom I will hold your food tray. Emily Bayne was seated in the middle and I had the aisle seat, 44H. While Emily was in the bathroom I complained to another flight attendant what had happened, she took our food trays and then told her supervisor what happened. The supervisor came shortly and assisted Emily by granting her request and providing her with two warm wet towels, and later 5 more. The supervisor and the other attendant that I complained to continue to check throughout the fljght to see if Emily needed anything else, which was nice and accommodating. The flight after that incident was good, as the supervisor immediately corrected the insensitive act of his flight attendant.

Pros: Even though I was flying economy, the seats on the A380 were wide and comfortable and the entertainment onboard was very good.

Cons: We were allowed down the jet way to board only to come to a closed plane door - waited for at least 5 minutes for plane door to be opened. Crew seemed tired and disengaged. Walked on the plane asked crew how they were and got less than good reply. In flight woman never smiled, overall crew seemed tired and as though they did not want to be there. Perhaps SFO based crew on way home? Tired from flight over to Dubai? But it was really noticeable and a real difference from the flight over to Dubai from SFO 2 weeks earlier.

Cons: We arrived onetime yet Emirates did not have a gate at SFO so we were parked on the tarmac for over an hour after a 16 hours flight. When we got thru immigration in record time due to the newly installed kiosks, we waited for 2.5hours to get our luggage, there was only one carousel open for an entire A380 airplane with all its luggage and the boxes were piling up on each other, some of them were crushed due to overloading, it took them 2 hours to open a second carousel to offload all of the bags. During this entire time, the Emirates representatives were unhelpful, the local SFO personnel were quite disorganized as well.
