Partly due to the not being able to check bag straight through, multiple visits to counters, long lines for dropping off bag, and in ability to check in on line or on app from either Lufthansa or United. Each site said visit the other site."

Cons: "For a three-hour international flight, and at that ticket price, substantial snacks should be complimentary. In Asia, flights of three hours or more on legacy carriers have proper inflight food. Low cost carriers sell food; but UA is not LCC."
Pros: "Everything was on time and as far as flights go, it was uneventful which is what you want on a long haul flight such as this."

Cons: "The way back took way longer then scheduled as my flight was delayed, again. I didn't get home till 3 am and had to work the next morning. Not happy about the delay. Also, I booked 8 months in advance and friends I met with on the trip got their airfare for half the price and booked only a few weeks before. They said I paid way to much, but since I do t fly much I guess I'm the sucker, cause I had no idea."

Pros: "My experience with Air Canada was all around pleasant. I would definitely fly with them again. Any negative aspect during my travels was due to their partner United Airlines."
Cons: "If flying within the States we used United Airlines; a partner of Air Canada. The flight itinerary changed numerous times before our departure, including two days before we left. The change added an additional layover, and put us at our destination nearly 6 hours later than out original booking. This meant we lost a decent portion of the first day of our honeymoon. However, we were forced to stay an extra day when our return flight was cancelled. After spending 8 hours in the airport we were informed that our Monday flight was cancelled, and the next available flight would not be until Wednesday! United Airlines let us down on the way to our destination and on our trip home. Air Canada was great, but I dread having to use their partner United Airlines."
Cons: "When I landed in San Francisco, my ticket did not have a gate number on it. My layover was only 55 minutes long so I knew I needed to get straight to my gate. I looked at the screen of departures. The screen said Eugene was at gate 72. I rushed to gate 72 to find that on display screen for gate 72, it said boarding for passengers to Orange County. I then walked to information. The gentleman at information wrote down that my gate was gate 67. I hurried to gate 67 (with only 15 minutes until boarding for my flight began). At gate 67 I asked a United Airlines worker if I was at the correct gate. He said no, my gate was 72. I explained to him I was just there. He was very rude and said if I did not want to believe him, that's fine. I said no, I believe you, I just want to be certain I am going to the correct place as I should be boarding very soon. I started running back to gate 72. On my way I stopped at the United Airlines customer service desk and encountered yet another rude United Airlines associate named Irada. She told me I needed to wait my turn in line and could not help me, even though I needed to be boarding soon. I ran back to gate 72 and the board said Eugene. I asked a pilot who was sitting down on break about the reasoning behind the boards and he helped me. A pilot whose job is not at all in customer service was the one who helped while those with the job in customer service were rude. I was very exhausted and upset with the confusion and noone willing to help. I do not believe I will be flying with United anymore if associates who are supposed to be helpful are not."

Cons: "My flight to San Francisco was 3 hrs delayed and I missed the wedding ceremony that I flew down to attend. The return flight was also 2 hrs delayed."

Cons: "Mechanical delay in fargo caused me to miss my connecting flight to Eugene by 5 minutes. Got to Denver airport asked the gate guy to call my connecting flight gate to see if they could hold the door for me, he said you got 10 mins go. I ran 30 gates and the door just closed and missed my flight. I am 25 weeks preg so my running time is slower then normal. Then they rebooked me on a flight that had an additional connect and arrived 4 hours later then expected. By the time I got to my new flight gate- it was delayed so would miss my next connecting flight. Long story short it's 3 hours past when I was suppose to leave and settled for s flight to PDX tonight getting in at midnight. My friend From eugue is picking me up in Portland tomorrow. It has been an unsuccessful flight. Almost cancelled and went home......"

Cons: "SFO canceled incoming flights so I asked to reschedule and they put me on a American Airlines flight that had a layover in Pheonix. Why did they use another airline? Why did I pay for a direct flight and have to have a layover. Why did I have to wait in security again. This has been the worst travel experience I've ever had and I'll make sure never to fly united airlines again."
