Kayak I had marked one carry on, one checked bag. Yet when it completed the purchase marked it as no carry on. Fail on kayaks side! Then extended flight delayed due to computer issues. Crew of the plane did awesome but fail on both kayak and alaskan
Late. Too long a flight for a 737. 0.5 oz of pretzels for a 5+ hour flight at dinner time. One step above Ryan Air/ several below Delta.
Once again, Hawaiian Airlines upon checking in for our return flight, told us that we hadn’t paid for our extra comfort seats. This had happened on our incoming flight as well. Hawaiian Airlines had changed our flight and put us in standard seats. I sent them confirmation emails and receipts showing that I had paid for extra comfort seats and they ignored me and refused to accept my proof of payment. I ended up having to pay for our extra comfort seats again. On our return flight, once again, we were told we hadn’t paid for our extra comfort seats, which we had. I argued until a supervisor was summoned and researched further in their system and found that we had paid for them. If I hadn’t insisted, we would’ve been forced to buy our seats again or be assigned a standard seat. This kind of Customer Service is totally unacceptable. I would never use Hawaiian Airlines again if I have a choice.
Flight delay caused me to miss my connecting flight home, but I was put up at a nearby motel, and it was great
My seat. The reprentative on the phone was bad. The passengers screamed at each other and no one stopped them. The directions boarding the plane were unclear. There was a medical incident and the ICU nurse present said the women was having a cardic incident. Cooler heads determined it was a UTI. I had a allergy attack and a guy got a mask from the flight attendent and told me to wear it. He "had kidney failure". Why didnt they tell him to wear the mask, why was he even on the plane? It was embarrassing, he said hurtful things. By the way, I have a degree in Medical Micrbiology from Northwestern Medical school. MT(ASCP). Look it up. I Know the difference between allergies and an infection. But we had to listen to the unstable screaming man.
Terrible. My flight was pushed out three times finally the fourth time it was canceled completely. They sent me to a hotel that would not accept the voucher. And I had to pay for my cab and Uber . I arrived at the airport at five and didn’t get into my hotel until 1145.
Wouldve liked a meal option (that you didnt have to prepay for) for such a long flight. But otherwise staff was friendly and boarding/un boarding was as efficient as it could be
The flight attendants were friendly. I liked that I got a mini soda can, not just a small cup. No issues with our flight departure, etc.
5 hours delay, while seated moved passengers around on the plane. We were out on the runway, had to return to the gate. Changed tires.

I had to cancel the flight because with a 3 hour delay for 'unexpected maintenance' in getting to LAX, I couldn't connect to an overseas flight that I had booked on Scandinavian Air.
Previously flown Hawaiian Airlines on similar routes, I found Alaska Airlines to be noticeably more comfortable. The seats on Alaska Airlines provided better support and cushioning, which made a significant difference on the long flight to the islands. When you’re spending 5-6 hours in the air, seat comfort really matters, and Alaska Airlines delivered where it counts. After comparing both carriers, I’ve decided to book with Alaska Airlines for all my future Hawaii trips. The superior seat comfort alone makes it worth choosing Alaska over Hawaiian Airlines. If you’re planning a trip to Hawaii and prioritizing comfort, I’d recommend giving Alaska Airlines a try. You won’t be disappointed. Highly recommended for Hawaii travel!
My flight was delayed three hours and then cancelled. The gate agent proceeded to rebook me in a middle seat without telling me and I was placed between two large individuals who did not fit in their own seats and instead took up most of mine. It was an awful experience.
Good and friendly staff. Nicely enjoyed the complimentary drink and snack.
Amazing all female crew, including the pilot. Great flight attendants and smooth trip. Food was good. Boarding the plane from back to front would have made things significantly smoother. Took forever to wait for people to clear the alley. A little extra leg room would be nice also. Please thank your flight crew!
Would have been better if the flight went out as scheduled and we’d have been kept informed. Rescheduling the connecting flight out of Portland was especially difficult.

I was put in a middle seat with the people on either side of me kept passing their grandchild over me and talking back and forth while I was trying to rest or watch a movie. So inconsiderate and totally disturbing. I asked if they would sit next to each other to alleviate the constant impeding my comfort but they refused.
Pre-Flight check-in Staff did a terrific job correcting a seat mis-assignment problem after I checked in the night before my flight. They really stepped up to make my flight home a joy. It was also my birthday, so the flight crew made me feel special a little treat.
Cheap food no options for vegans, no entertainment, no snacks. Too much advertisement about their credit card. Next flight will be Delta Airlines.
Short flight but an "eager to help" crew made the journey more enjoyable!
Flight was delayed only slightly before takeoff due to traffic control. However, the flight arrived early to ORD. Good flight. United has been very reliable for me.
The person I bought the ticket for didn’t make the flight.
Lately I like the planes have been exceptionally filthy. There’s lines of dust and dirt all across the ceiling in the vents, and the cracks in between the seats are literally full of food. It’s definitely not the quality of service that I was used to with United. I’m also very disappointed with the Wi-Fi! All I wanna do is knock out a few work jobs while I’m trapped in my seat And it spools so bad. They did provide me with a refund, but the process of getting that refund is so complicated. It’s unfortunate.
Another delayed flight. When the delays exceed the duration of the flight, it’s a problem.

After boarding the plane in Chicago, the passengers were told that there was a technical problem with the plane. Passengers remained on the plane as they tried to fix the problem. After what was probably an hour passengers were told that there was a need to change planes as the problem was not solved. Passengers disembarked and boarded another plane. After taxing to the runway and waiting for takeoff, passengers were told that owing to the thunderstorm the flight was unable to take off but would try and reroute. After some time passengers were told there wasn't enough fuel for the new route and the plane had to return to the gate for additional fuel. after another log delay the flight got underway. On the plane there was food, drinks, ice or entertainment. We were a glass of water, which appeared rationed. Flight arrived about 5 hours late. The pilot was fantastic and communicated with the passengers throughout the ordeal.
The flight attendants were great, I joked with one I can’t remember her name, a blond, really sweet. I thought it was run well very professional. This was great i survived Spirit, I know for which I speak.
During booking, I kept trying submitting my payment from the Mexican website and it didn't work. After I had the idea to change it to the Canadian website, it worked but I had to be charged the equivalent of 50 CAD more. I received the clear instruction that I would only be able to check-in at the airport and that it was impossible to select a seat 24 hours before departure, that I had to pay 144 CAD to do so, although not only was I able to check-in 24 hours before departure, but I could have selected my seats for free then. All in all, I almost threw $200 out the window due to misleading information. Besides, the app kept crashing, the information to get to the gate on the app was inaccurate, my gate was switched and I was only informed once in the air (luckily I had noticed the departure pannel), I was not addressed in my language beforehand and even if I tried I was immediately answered in English (which meant the crew understood but didn't want to answer accordingly), there was only one snack & beverage service on my medium haul flight and no beverage service on my short haul flight. To be fair, the planes were comfortable, the crew apart from the language issue was helpful, dynamic and engaging, the plane was clean and the directions were clear and direct. United has a lot of potential to be one of my favourite airlines, but the devil is in the details and a lot of them missed the target.
Flight was timely, relatively comfortable, with decent entertainment and food served. Only problem encountered was with the free messaging which I highly appreciate, but it did not work from iphone to non-iphones.
