I was impressed with how quickly the baggage transfers were made.
We were delayed 2 hours because of a broken seat. Other than that it was a very nice flight.
London to Atlanta was good. Atlanta to Phoenix was not. Poor boarding as I had to check my rollerboard even though there was plenty of room in the bins. Crew seemed inexperienced. Sat just off the gate for nearly 30 minutes with no explanation from the pilot while the cabin got hot. I typically have a much better experience with Delta.
Left on time, a bit delayed due to headwinds most of the trip.
Was charged for my luggage despite having been on one ticket from an international flight. Too tired to argue after 15 hours on flight. Was charged for rechecking it at JFK airport. Not sure why those off Kenya Airways were required to do that.
Not pleasant. We arrived several hours late and my friend and driver were waiting for me a long time at Tucson airport. At first we had to divert to phoenix due to shitty weather. Well, i guess I can’t fault anyone for that. But then when they refueled , they overfueled and we had to wait even longer for the plane to burn off excess fuel. So someone really screwed up there and should get fired. Human error is really inexcusable.
Everything was great except for the seat. The backrest would not stay in the upright position.
A220 brakes are grabby and uncomfortable Electric braking is not a good solution for a modern aircraft
The flight landed in Phoenix and taxied the runway for 15 additional minutes. I had a connecting flight I barely made it to because of the delay of the plane taxing the runway.
I have executive platinum status with American Airlines. It seems impossible to be upgraded anymore and I’m never offered a cheese plate or thanked for my loyalty.
The forward head smelled putrid and urine soaked, worse than any head in even transoceanic flights. The wifi stopped working after about an hour of flight.
American Airlines didn't allow us on the flight as there were delays for a ground stop that couldn't get our flight from Baltimore to the gate. When we needed help rebooking there wasn't a gate agent available to help us either.
Check-in process was poor, very poor, only one person to check-in all passengers, so if one passenger had a check-in issue, all other passengers were delayed. All check-ins should have two airline staff to check-in passengers.

They are always helpful and kind. The staff is efficient and professional.
Terrific flight, had a good seat. Flight crew was wonderful, boarding was drama free. And we arrived early.
I was so hungry. No meals. Staff very nice. Seat arms armed too tight and didn’t go up. I was scheduled for First class, but was put on Standby, even though I made my reservation a while ago. Thank you.
The trip was very smooth and they provided great customer service
