Pros: "I decided to travel First Class from CLT to NYC and that was the greatest choice I ever made. First class was amazing! I stored my belongings without any issues. The snacks were enjoyable and the passengers were friendly. I was happy with the crew and airline!"
Cons: "No complaints!"
Pros: "On time flight. Early arrival."
Cons: "Seated in first class but the arm of the seat was broken."
Cons: "The flight was delayed an hour, which would have made us miss our connecting flight back to our home destination. We switched flights in order to make it home at a decent hour and not spend our entire day and night in an airport. We arrived home and they did not transfer two of our three checked bags to our flight, thus making it highly inconvenient upon our arrival home with no luggage."
Pros: "Best crew on American Airlines. Very friendly. They moved me to middle row with empty seats and I was able to lie down and stretch my legs. Being 67 years old I really appreciate that kind of attention given to me. After I woke up stewardess came and asked me if I was able to sleep well and gave me ice cream and coffee . You don't get that kind of personal attention anywhere else. Great job!!"
Cons: "Even though I presented a valid handicap sticker to the front desk, they treated me as though I was some kid who stole it from my grandma or something when I asked to board early. The steward was rude and pushy. I asked a question and he acted as though I was bothering him."
Cons: "N/A"
Pros: "Planes were punctual and smooth flight"
Pros: "Let’s begin by saying that this plane should not be flying anymore, it’s dated and doesn’t offer any type of comfort.n No entertainment, seats are extremely uncomfortable, my husband seat was broken and wouldn’t recline. Flight attendants were sloppy and never brought me anything I asked. I asked for lactose free meal and my breakfast was a yogurt... Not worth the price I paid for this flight... stay away!!"
Cons: "Nothing"
Pros: "Nothing!"
Cons: "I was traveling today with my daughter, who is 6 months pregnant, my 3 1/2 & 18 month old grandsons, my husband & son-in law on an international flight from Chicago to Manchester. I was very disappointed a 757 was used for an international flight! No attempt was made by staff to accomodate our family with a extra seat for the infant, even though there were a large number of rows with empty middle seats (4 of which were directly behind them!) The 1st indication of the beginning of the NIGHTMARE was when the plane arrived in Chicago and overshot the gate, this caused almost an hour delay! (We heard our crew saying "oops" while looking out the window at the plane arriving & then again when they were discussing it would have been faster if the plane had used a different method to get to the gate again.) This was then followed by a mechanical problem with a frozen water valve, requiring us to be de-iced x2! Then we started to taxi out and again had to return because of a hydraulic problem that required repair. I think we were delayed almost 3.5 hours. The crew did bring a round of water during the onground delays, and offered free drinks later in the flight. The icing on the cake was not getting the stroller back at the gate because there were no baggage handlers. I can't tell you how much FUN that was trying to corral a toddler & 3yr old with all our carry-on bags while getting thru customs! Did I mention in our haste to get off that plane we overlooked my daughter's winter maternity coat in the overhead! May be time to switch to the Friendlier Skies of United for our UK travel!"
Pros: "much room. great entertainment. great crew"
Pros: "Boarding on time and arrived to my destination on time."
Cons: "no comment"
Pros: "It Was Great. Flight Attendant Rita Was Amazing. The Flight Was Quite And Relaxing."
Cons: "That It Didn’t Last Longer. It Was A Short Trip."
Pros: "food and service by the crew"
Pros: "The Admirals Club in Paris is lovely."
Cons: "My seat did not work properly- there was a short in the mechanism, I believe- that required repeated attempts to get it to recline completely, which was ultimately unsuccessful. I was clearly having difficulty with the seat but didn't receive any assistance while FA chatted up a celebrity in the seat in front of me. Flight attendants seemed to provide very perfunctory service, not commensurate with first class. Very disappointing experience compared to others in the past. I don't need to spend half a zillion FF miles when I could just buy a coach seat."
Cons: "Too cold on the plane"
Pros: "Smooth ride and friendly helpful airline atendents."
Pros: "Seat was slightly more comfortable than DELTA."
Cons: "Families with infants/young children not allowed to board early. Flight was delayed by almost 3 hours and gate moved FOUR times while waiting for the delayed flight... That's a LOT of moving when you're hauling a cranky 1 year old around the airport long after we were supposed to already be at our destination. Desk attendants were abrupt, not friendly, and diamissive when I came up to ask for a stroller tag."
Pros: "Dunno"
Cons: "Dunno"
Cons: "Seat spacing for international flight"
Pros: "Service, flight experience, entertainment"
Cons: "Checkin Personal It was delayed 4 hours"
Pros: "It was not a full flight, so I was given an aisle instead of a middle seat...for which I was grateful."
Cons: "Flight was 6 hours...almost as much as my previous international flight, yet food and drink was only available for purchase. No entertainment options. Plus, wireless was $21! I needed to work and had to purchase, but that is really quite a rip off compared to other airlines."
Pros: "Nothing"
Cons: "Delay, first told it was weather related, then mechanical. Re booked on a flight by AA that would never make connection. Paid over $1,000 for a flight leg that one way and direct on another airline (Alaska air) was $281.00 and the agent took so long to find redirect flight that they couldn't book. Total mess! While struck on the second leg and speaking with AA customer service about the reschedule I was told that they didn't have the ability to rectify the error because they no longer had control of my ticket and that I had to take into consideration that three was an event in San Antonio that caused delays network wide that added tio the initial issue... HOGWASH! 1) it was another AA issue where an AA aircraft drive of the runway while I was in flight on the first errant leg. 2) if they had just been straight from the outset, I wouldn't have been delayed. I will never fly AA AGAIN!"
Cons: "Six hours of delay on the outward trip; five hours delay on the return trip. Don't count on American to get you to your destination when it says it will."
Pros: "On time"
Cons: "N/a"
Cons: "Because it was a day later!!!"
Pros: "I liked that the flight was basically on time, boarding was a breeze, and the staff was professional, friendly, and helpful."
Cons: "The seats! They were very uncomfortable. They were more comfortable than United, but less comfortable than JetBlue."
