Cons: "Seats. For some unknown reason, JAL uses different seats on this 787-8 flight from NRT-SAN that's 2-3 inches less in pitch than all of their other planes. This was not comfortable on a 9-hour+ flight. The flight attendants also woke us up everytime food was served so we could recline up seats."

I feel good whenever I see her walks by, smile and very professional When the meal was serve but they only had one dish to choose instead of two ( I guess that day Chicken Masala dish was high on demand so there are only Japanese dish left) she said we are so sorry with a very sincere gesture , I chose Japanese food because I like Japanese food anyway , she politely thanks me for my choice and later bring a bag of small mix snack for me and said thank you for being flexible . Later on, when we getting off the airplane she even helped me to stroll my carry on out to the airplane because I was carry too many stuffs with me and my daughter being so tired of the long flight so I have to comforted my daughter . The stewardess saw that and helping me a hand . I wish every airlines has someone like this crew member . Thank you so much for the awesome service on Japan Airlines."

Pros: "The crews were polite and reliable. No bossy or mean like other airlines. they moved prompt, no running or fast walk on aisles, so that passengers can ask things easily. Food was much better comparing with any other companies. The boarding time was delayed one hour, however we landed japan 2, 3 mins later than the estimated arrival time. Landing technique was beautiful. American, United, ANA which I flew caused me have a deep Earache. I didn't get any pain from this flight. I am already scared of returning flight with American airplines."

I literally arrived to the front desk 15 minutes before the plane departed. The ladies at the front desk were very aware of my urgency and walked me threw the crew line and got me to my gate without a missed flight. I cannot thank you enough for the kind and generous work you do."

Cons: "The DC China Embassy web site clearly states that a valid APEC Business Card can be used in lieu of a Chinese visa. In spite of this I was denied boarding by JAL. It turns out the system is not fully in place, and eventually I was issued a 10 year multiple entry visa by way of apology. JAL did not waive cancellation fee, and I suffered considerable economic damages."

Would definitely recommend Qatar Air over Aeroflot any day."

Almost always the most shady, scammy and money hungry airlines who use ridiculous or ad hoc made RULES to set pitfalls for customers and ensure their profit gains by doing so!! Remember those European cheap airlines?!! They have tons of rules. You are set to fail even you have a smaller bags than some passengers who passed the gate without penalty. You are just unlucky – they set eyes to catch opportunities to rip you off whenever they can and whenever they are in the mood to be able to come up with lame excuses. With normal airlines, you realize your luggage which has been slightly overweight or over sized will be able to pass through without incurring any penalties. So any saying of rules are lame excuses and are shitty airlines’ lame excuses. The thing is good airlines will delay their flight a few minutes to wait for the passenger. If this is considered too needy of a requirement, then what happens next will shock you and reaffirm you how wrongful and shady this airline is. After missing the flight despite you arrived before the departing time, you have to purchase a full price ticket in order to fly again. As I declined to fly with them again since the ticket is too pricey and repurchased a ticket with another airline, they came up with an excuse that in order to release my luggage, they have to reissue a new flight ticket: so I have to pay both a luggage release fee and a flight ticket fee!!! What a gold digger Qatar Airway is haha. Luckily as I protested, they eventually didn’t make me to pay for a new flight ticket fee except a luggage release fee (really?). The sales office quoted a price of $250 to the luggage office. Then it took me a few minutes to get to the sales office. Strange thing happened, despite I mentioned the communication they are aware of, they are trying to find some “RULES” again to validate that I have to pay for an air ticket. It should not take 24 hours to fly from Phoenix to Boston in good weather."

Pros: "The seat was comfortable for such s long flight (~10 hrs). The selection of movies/television/music for personal use was exceptional. Being provided a lightweight blanket & small pillow a nice touch. Beverage service and a small unexpected VIP of ice cream a very nice surprise!"
Cons: "Didn't like being served dinner-type food (pasta & salad) late morning….but I shouldn't complain since it was a privilege yo be served a meal.Didn't like being told my window shade had to be closed I chose a window seat so I could look out the window and have natural light. It was daytime. As there was no one sitting next to me, I ultimately kept the shade partway open. I could tell the crew was irritated. Several hours later, a different FA came over and just shut my shade; I reopened it. What a stupid tug of war."

When meal was served the my lap tray was hitting my knees and couldn't fit a can on tray without hitting his seat when I mentioned to flight attendants they did absolutely nothing"

Cons: "Both flights delayed. A six and a half hour drive took nine and a half hours by air."
Cons: "Our 10:40AM flight got cancelled. We had to wait in line until 1AM with regular check-ins to rebook for 8:40AM. When we made it to the airport again after limited sleep, that flight also got cancelled. We bought a ticket with LATAM which was a breeze. Throughout the following week, we tried calling them numerous times to have them tell us we had to loose yet more time by having to go to their Cusco office... but they couldn't resolve the issue either. We had to escalate this over the phone from their office so they would issue us a flight back to Lima at no charge to us. Now, I can only hope that they will honor this ticket but I'm not expecting much."
Cons: "We were denied boarding to our flight because the gate agent said we were late to the podium. We were there 10 minutes prior to departure. The jetway was still full of passengers. There was no reason she did not let us on other than she wanted to punish us for being late to the podium. We missed our connecting flight and had to rent a car to get home. Corporate American Airline customer relations was awful to work with. They did not care."

Cons: "The flight was originally scheduled to take off at 8:20 pm, but due to several delays did not end up getting off the ground until after 11 pm. After being in the air for about 45 minutes we were informed that there were issues with the engine and that we would be turning around and heading back to Dallas. By this point it was after midnight, and although I was appreciative that safely is a priority, there was no communication as to what the next steps were. After landing we were finally told that we would have to deplane, and after we sat around the gate for awhile we were informed that the flight would be delayed until 5 am. Being 12:50 am at this point a hotel would have been nice, but we were informed that AA was "out of hotels" but that if we wanted we could have a $12 food voucher to use at the one restaurant that was open several terminals over. The AA employee assisting in handing out the food vouchers seemed extremely unapologetic about the situation which didn't help with the frustration everyone was feeling. I will not be booking with AA again, and will be passing along my negative experience to family and friends. It is worth spending the extra money on a ticket for an airline that is more reliable with better customer service."

Cons: "We had about seven wheelchair passengers booked on this flight and no one had a clue how to manage it. two ended up being carted off to other gates and the rest boarded slowly, resulting in a 40 minute delay departing. When we got to Charlotte there were planes backed up, another 20 minutes to get to a gate. My 90 minute leisurely stroll to my next flight morphed into a race across three concourses. Charlotte is a nightmare under the best conditions, this just sucked."

There should be a bit more pitch for economy. Economy plus was just equal to what is economy on other ultra long flights. No amenity kit and only gave tiny blankets. Bathroom only had soap so bring lotions and other products."

They do not accommodate modern methods of making children comfortable in seats, such as the use of jetkids and jetbox accessories. I have experienced lies (yes, I’ll be back with more water! Sure, I’ll check for some eye wash for your wife.), misleading (embellishing rules, enforcing rules that do not exist) and overall terrible behavior. With the exception of a few ground crew members who’ve shone through, my interactions with United staff have not been good."

Pros: "By being the longest flight in the world, the 17 hours went fast. I watched three movies and slept two or three hours after each movie and later read a small book. The attendants were attentive and made things comfortable."

He demanded that I wait behind the curtain for the last passenger from 1st class who might wish to get up to use the laboratory while I was in need of a bathroom. I will not invest my money buying from United again not worth the money."

I had to beg the flight attendant to get me a wine because I was asleep when they came by and missed them by not even a half hour... She acted like it was so hard and it took asking 4 times and finally just asking another person. I was so annoyed. They also have shitty food selections per usual. Who chooses those snack items?! They clearly have no taste. I was miserable the whole flight. I usually am not a miserable traveler so this isn't just me being negative, I seriously may write one review every few months, only if something is really good or really bad. The fact that I'm even taking the time to write this says a lot!!!"

Cons: "For boarding at the gate, attendant scanned boarding passes at one terminal and asked passengers to board next to another terminal across the room. Anyone could have walked onto the plane without a boarding pass, which seems to be a security concern. It felt as if I was seated over the rear wheels of the plane. During taxi and takeoff, there was an irregular bump that made a noise and vibrated the plane every second or so, and sped up as the plane sped up. I was concerned that something was the matter with the tire or wheel."

I missed my connecting transportation, had to scrape my weekend plans, currently searching for a place to stay tonight while they locate my bag. I am cold and left my jacket in my bag. The United counter people are blaming it on the weather. I am sure everything was delayed by the laxadaysical baggage loader. The one person ( or lack of help loading the bags on the plane completely altered my travel plans. I requested assistance for hotel only to be told they are full when in fact several are vacant on the Internet. I should of videotaped the baggage loading in Canada, it would of went viral."
Cons: "The delay at the end of a long day kicked our butts. United's communication via boarding agents, the United App, etc was terribly delayed and unacceptable. Not having pilots in place to fly the plane was unacceptable. We will find an alternate airline in the future if possible."

Cons: "Three hour Houston delay; I accepted a change in scheduled flights with less delays and $300 compensation, but the offer was withdrawn without explanation. And had to switch seats in the first leg to redistribute weight."

Cons: "I went to the bathroom when a crew member was passing some ice cream, therefore I lost my chance to get some. The person sitting next to me took both pillows and covers for herself."
Cons: "They lost my bag for my entire vacation. They found it and "rushed" it to me, but it got waylaid in SFO and would have sat there had I not called them. Then they said they would deliver it to my hotel. When it arrived 4 days later, they said I could pick it up and they would not deliver it. I was 2.5 hours away. I told them to send it home, but they didn't and when I flew home 7 days later, it was still sitting in Munich!"
