Travelers that fall into this category will be required to sign a release form agreeing to these conditions prior to boarding a plane. Travelers who refuse to sign the form will be denied boarding. In some cases, Korean authorities have permitted immediate blood relatives or spouses of long-term residents to self-quarantine at their family’s home. For this, travelers would need to provide proof of relationship (e.g., marriage or birth certificate), and should understand that Korean immigration officials have the final authority to approve quarantine arrangements.
Travelers who are long-term or residential visa holders are required to self-quarantine at their own residences and must undergo a COVID test within 3 days. All travelers who exhibit symptoms will be required to undergo COVID-19 testing on arrival at the airport and may be subject to additional procedures.
Chinese nationals who are traveling on business under the Fast Lane program and their family members are exempt from the quarantine requirements; however, they must self-monitor their health conditions for at least 14 days before departure and must hold a medical certification of a negative COVID-19 testing result issued within 72 hours before departure. They will receive an additional test upon arrival, after which they must stay at a designated quarantine facility for up to 1-2 days until receiving the result. Once receiving a negative test result, they will be allowed to end their quarantine.
Nationals of Egypt, Mongolia, Russia, Sudan, Thailand and Yemen are restricted from transiting through South Korea on their way to or from those countries.
Most travelers transiting through Korean airports (who do not pass through immigration) have no quarantine requirement for stays less than 24 hours. However, transit passengers may need to undergo temperature checks or fill out health questionnaires. Transit passengers should confirm entry requirements at their onward destination. Symptomatic individuals will be subject to a COVID-19 test and hospitalization if found positive. Passengers who do not show symptoms and/or test negative may continue their journey. Cons: "I purchased a round trip ticket to Miami for my infant son and I to accompany my wife on her business trip. First off, there was a 2.5 hour delay. The flight was overbooked. The lady at the ticket counter would not switch my seat to be seated next to my wife and 4 month old infant. Luckily the gentleman beside her was willing to switch seats so that she could comfortably breast feed our son. My checked luggage was severely damaged. The side of the luggage was caved in and one wheel was completely ripped off while the other was partially damaged. A cart had to be rented in order to transport the broken suitcase through the airport to the rental car service area where we picked up our car. The infant car seat belonging to a $180 traveling system was damaged and is missing pieces that secure the broken canopy. We were rudely advised by a staff member to file a report as she pointed in the general directional of a line a mile long. We have been advised by the manufacturing company to discontinue the use of this car seat because it is no longer considered safe for the baby to travel in. Should we ever be involved in an accident, the car seat would likely fail to ensure the baby's safety due to the mishandling by American Airline employees. Unfortunately since the flight was ridiculously delayed and my son was ill, we were unable to file the report. My wife has since contacted American Airlines via telephone and intends to write them a formal written complaint."

I want United to give me a cash credit for my next flight. Every flight that I’ve taken with them has always had a hiccup on one leg of the flight or the other."

Getting 30 minutes to make a connecting flight that is on the other side of the airport with noone being able to tell you where your connecting flight is is almost impossible. The in-flight entertainment console was broken and was unusable during the flight. It would work for 5 minutes then glitch and the screen would flash until you stowed it away and waited 10 minutes to try again."

But Eric said this was it...take it or leave it. Just so rude and uncaring. No entertainment in head rest in front. Internet was extremely spotty and the charging station would stop after some time automatically :("

Was looking forward to experiencing Austrian Airlines, and upon check-in was pointed to the fine print on my booking: "Flight provided by United Airlines." Was hoping for a flight like the one we took on Turkish Airways a couple years ago -- a very high standard. But couldn't even get comfortable in the seats. The entertainment screen was very difficult to use; if there had been more options I probably wouldn't have been able to get to them anyway. Could barely reach above-seat vents, even when standing. All this was made worse when we had to walk through the First Class section when boarding and deplaning. The disparity between the comfort they experienced and the minimum standards in economy felt like Austrian Airlines/United were rubbing it in our faces that we didn't want to spend more on travel."
