My recent Air France flight from Paris to Toronto was a genuinely pleasant long‑haul experience, marked by strong service and thoughtful touches throughout the journey. The boarding process was orderly and efficient, with only a short wait before passengers were invited to step onboard. Everything moved with calm coordination, setting a positive tone right from the start. Once in the air, the inflight crew truly shined. They were warm, friendly, and consistently attentive without ever feeling intrusive. Their professionalism and upbeat energy made the cabin feel welcoming and well cared for. The meals and overall service were very good—well‑timed, nicely presented, and satisfying. Air France’s reputation for quality inflight dining held up, and the crew ensured that drinks, snacks, and small requests were handled promptly. I traveled in a business‑class pod, which offered excellent privacy and comfort. The seat itself was spacious and well‑designed, ideal for both resting and working. The only minor drawback was that the pod felt a bit warm when fully closed, but it wasn’t enough to detract from the overall comfort. Overall, this Air France flight delivered a smooth, friendly, and enjoyable experience from gate to landing. The combination of efficient boarding, exceptional crew service, quality meals, and a comfortable seat made the long journey feel easy and well supported.

I don’t like that an equipment change caused my seat to change from 23A to 44A. The boarding was also delayed. The crew were excellent, however and very attentive. The food was not bad.

Our flight crew were terrific. And they handle a difficult passenger with finesse.

My experience was good overall, the quality of the food really decreased! There used to be a choice between meat and fish now it’s between chicken and pasta! In the choices of entertainment meditation has been added which is very good. Soft chair workout to improve blood circulation and avoid phlebitis should be added.

Not a good one this time. The absence of internet without any information/notification ahead was really the unacceptable part. Also this new A350-900 has a serious legroom challenge for economy seats. It’s more like a medium-haul flight legroom configuration.

They lost my baggage and I still have not got it back. Disgrace

Excellent apart from transport to actual plane 10 minutes from the actual gate , walking out in the tarmac in the rain and having to climb stairs to enter while holding luggage.

Everything went smoothly with Air France. There was a delay in departure which seemed to relate to the immigration services being short staffed.

A couple of minor delays in boarding but very professional and efficient staff.

The hard product, food, and service are far superior to their North American counterparts

I didn’t like my seat in my return flight from Montreal to Orlando at all; considering I paid extra for better seats. That middle seat was cramped up way too much.

All great. Very efficient. Good emails that kept us in the know

Crew was enthusiastic. Meal was surprisingly good. They came to give water very frequently. Negative that the seat reclining didn't work

That was a short flight by the only time I could actually sleep

The boarding process would have been better. When people are flying internationally and the airline is a member of Star Alliance they cannot have different rules for carryon baggage. Brussels Airlines made us adjust the weight of our carryons based on their rules even though we were flying international and our next flight was with United which does not have weight restrictions for carryons. That was just ridiculous.

This was absolutely one of the worst experiences of my life. I came to Europe for a 2 week trip and the airline was probably the most disorganized airline I’ve ever seen in my life. They lost my luggage. I had tracking on it for just such an occasion and told them EXACTLY where it was in the terminal and they somehow failed to get it out on the flight that night, since we were leaving for Switzerland the next day there was no way they would get it to our hotel in time. Seriously, take another airline at any cost. It’s not worth whatever you pay…you’ll end up paying a lot more in the end. My medication is in the bag and I can’t get to it and don’t know how I will get it.

I felt the overall quality of the plane and food service was less than that of their partner airlines, United. An example was wine was served in paper cups in premium economy class. There was no real silverware, napkins or a welcome kit other than a pillow and blanket.

I like the frequent mails we get when there is an update. Please keep it up

The old business class seat was fine but screens were disconnected with stickers on them telling pax to use their own devices. Disappointing.

The best thing about the flight was the cabin crews in the business class. The young Asian lady was just fantastic!

The couscous wasn't good, and neither was the salad.

Kept me waiting for hours with the excuse of aircraft needed to cool down and then cancelled.

Well I had insisted to be put on standby because I knew there was one seat so there should have been another. There was, seat 36AC for both of us, the last row in the plane that does not recline nor does it have any room in the overhead bin because of plane necessities. The bathroom right behind so a line up with people's bums on your arm rests, etc. We were happy to get a flight earlier because of the missed connection, but we saw flight people who were sitting in customer seats and I felt we should have been seated there and they should have been put in the back. Plus the stewardesses were wearing so much perfume, I had to hold my nose because of a severe allergy to perfume.

Air Canada was delayed on the initial flight causing us to be put on another flight that took us to a different airport that did not have our connecting flight. We had to rebook the flight from Tokyo to Bangkok when we arrived after clearing customs. We spent and additional 8 hours because of this. Return flight was also delayed on departure but we were able to make or connecting flight in Tokyo. The business seats need improvement, the seats are a bit hard for such a long flight.

It’s a good airline. Polite service and good communication.

The trip was very smooth; the seat was quite comfortable, and the food was excellent and tasty.

We ran into trouble in Montreal. Exited the plane and Air Canada was excellent getting everyone quickly to their destinations. I give Air Canada a 100%.

I was notified 8 hours before that my flight was cancelled due to mechanical issues and they would let me know when they put me on a new flight. Didn’t hear back for 6 hours and was never notified and had to log into the app to find out I was put on a new flight. First time flying with air Canada and won’t fly with them again.
