Also, boarding in MEM combined zones, and with overhead space already full on both flights after Zone 2/ Diamond, presents a huge challenge to find a space for a bag. Delta, other than point A to B, is no longer reasonable to fly - very poor experiences, not even taking into account the chastising at the gate and rude crews, across the board.

Inexperienced boarding crew allowed too many bags on to a full flight and delayed takeoff causing a missed connection and unplanned overnight stay. There was a hotel at the airport but Delta would not pay for it offering only to shuttle me to an area hotel. Never even offerred so much as an apology by anyone working for Delta.

I have diamond medallion status and usually we are in comfort plus . We were in main this time ( which was fine ) and my husband wanted wine . I have at least 10 vouchers for drinks that are good for this year and next! The attendant would not take the picture of the voucher as proof and never came back to check as She asked me to pull it up on delta Wi-Fi. Instead my husband just used his Amex to buy the wine . Disappointing!!!

Late delayed flight delays boarding and delays leaving and delays on arrival too. Cramped plane no room no food.

Waited at the usual crowded gate at DCA where one ends up standing up because there aren't enough seats.

It would’ve been nice for all that money to have a more substantial snack for free. I remember once upon a time getting a very nice turkey sandwich with Swiss cheese on whole wheat bread for no charge along with a drink. I guess those days are gone. it’s a little insulting being given a cookie or a bag of baked chips Going forward I’ll just bring my own.
