Not considerate... Flight was cancelled because we were not able to go to kuala lumpur on time due to apec summit in manila with no fly zone on November 17-19. Flight to singapore from KL was November 20. Flight to KL was rebooked on November 20 arriving at November 21
I was charged $50 dollars for the check-in luggage that I was not happy. I booked the airticket very early so I was not sure the weight of my luggage would be. I get used to have the free check- in luggage
so I forgot about it until I did it at the airport.
I prefer the airline to have the charge including the luggage into the airfare than check how many Kg of luggage the customers take at the airport. This makes the procedure of check-in take more time.
Flight was delayed almost 24 hours and passengers kept in terminal for over 7 hours. Ground crew claimed decisions were made by the Jetstar Singapore office and there was nothing they could do. One crew member responded to a request for information with a dismissive "Later! I have more important things to do now!".
This is indeed a low cost airline, so beware, you get what you pay for.
I like the interior of the plane and the comfortable seats. I also appreciate the crew's warmth and efficiency. It was a very short flight hence I truly appreciate the snack and drinks provided and especially the fabulous ice cream treat on the return flight. I would certainly consider taking MAS again in future (this was my first MAS flight), despite the one glitch (please see what I didnt like) if the price is right.
I had only one large backpack to be checked in (due to the minimum liquid that can be brought) and it was left at the airport somehow by whoever who was handling it. Waited for more than an hour at KLIA for it and finally made a loss baggage report. The staff at the loss baggage counter was only helpful after finding out that I am not a Malaysian. Needless to say, my bag flew on SQ and was rushed to my hotel 5 and half hours after landing. I also did not receive a copy of the baggage delivery report.
They robbed us on the checked luggage fees. They were more than the flight itself. Was told it was cheaper to pay online, but when I attempted to do so, it informed me that it was not available on this booking.
We’re not the seller.
At KAYAK we don’t set the prices, so it’s not possible for us to guarantee what other companies are selling.
We compile tonnes of data for you
Our service lets you quickly and easily compare results from hundreds of travel sites at once. In this sense, KAYAK is a search engine and we can't guarantee prices we find.
Why aren’t prices accurate 100% of the time?
Prices on airline seats, hotel rooms and car rentals can change frequently. Several people may also be trying to buy the same travel option simultaneously. As a result, you may find, on occasion, that certain prices are no longer available.
If you have more questions or if you have a bad price to report to us, please send us an
and someone from our team will get back to you promptly.
