Cons: "We sat on the tarmac for an hour after boarding because there was some minor mechanical issue on the plane. Also, my video screen didn’t work so I had no way to access the in flight entertainment."

Cons: "My flight TO Charlotte was cancelled on Wednesday morning and AA couldn’t find me a flight to CLT on Wednesday so I had to spend 22 hours in the car driving to NC and back. I huge pain!!!"

Pros: "The on-board attendants were personable and efficient."
Cons: "The lack of overhead storage was not noted at the gate so about half the passengers had to have their hand luggage tagged on the plane itself, involving wheeling to the back to be tagged. Then once everyone was seated, the attendant wheeled them by and passengers had to call out when they saw their bag go by so that they could be issued the corresponding luggage claim ticket. The seat width and pitch was sad compared to 'low cost' airlines like JetBlue."

Pros: "Seats were very comfortable and there was a good amount of leg room. I was very impressed the flight was not delayed as American is notorious for that."
Cons: "That staff is too strict about what you are holding when boarding the plane."

Cons: "They damage my luggage both of my suitcases broken and the airline doesn't give me an answer and doesn't want to reimburse me the money I paid for the suitcases. Airline good for nothing."

Cons: "The flight had no pilot assigned to the flight yet the attendants still boarded us. Then we waited on the plane for an hour before exiting the plane. The attendants gave us little information on flight alternatives and when the flight was finally allowed to board again, they did not announce it and so had I not been waiting close by, I would have missed my flight. It was extremely disappointing but not shocking with all the scandals that have occurred this year with American Airlines. I do not recommend flying with them."

Cons: "The aisles are too narrow. As passengers are boarding and you sit in the aisles you are constantly struck. FAA should investigate with the decreased aisle width and distance between the seats, can the evacuation be completed within required time, in an actual emergency. American Airlines is endangering the lives of passengers. And the cramped conditions are contributing to the hostile actions of some passengers. What does it take to do what is right?"

Cons: "I was supposed to be in stand by and the screen continue showing I could go to the counter and get a seat and I have to wait till the end so that I was going to be given a middle seat. I said forget about it, to pay 75 dlls for a change of ticket and you make me wait till the end to give me seat u want, forget it, I know this is stand by ticket but I dont like the attitude of the people, they dont help you at all really bad service you should learn from other airlines giving at least if you are delayed an apology and sometimes miles reward, not just food... Thanks for the SERVICE (i dont flight with you no more, even though cheap flights, but cheap things are expensive)"

Cons: "Each seat doesn't have its own screen. Plane feels older than JetBlue by a lot. First checked bag is not free like JetBlue. WiFi is another additional charge. Overall cost was significantly higher than JetBlue for less value."

Then you wouldn't have to threaten your customers to store their small bags under the seat. Then I would have room for my feet under the seat. When I would have been comfortable. I also wouldn't have to annoy my neighbor with trying to move and get comfortable. But instead the exact opposite happened and I'm offended you guys have America anywhere near your name."

Cons: "Barely made my flight because my connection was late and I got to the plane right as they were about to give up my seat I was seated next to an obese gentlemen whose body was hanging into my seat and I had to spend 3 hours completely uncomfortable because the plane was completely full. Worst plane ride ever"

Cons: "The AA employee at the counter in Batoj Rouge informed me that I would miss my connection at Charlotte Airport due to a delayed in the incoming flight. Hebgave me the option to flight the next day or flight the same day, and after a 2 hour delay flight to Charlotte where I would be provided a hotel room and a meal for the night. I asked several times if that information was confirmed and he repeatedly said yes. At my arrival at Charlotte Airport (near midnight) every AA employee said that they did NOT have any more hotels. It was obvious that everything was a staged lie since over 100 people had to spend the night in one of the the terminals where we were provided a pillow and a blanket. I am terribly disappointed for the lack of transparency in AA. I was told my some friends that they also have had experiences like that at the same Charlotte Airport. You have damage once again your reputation and from no own in will expect THE WORST from AA."
