Over 2 hours delay, communicated last minute - and no acknowledgement by flight crew
Always select priority to be able to take carry on luggage and board first without hassles.
Ryan air is a scamming airline. They advertise that you have to follow they baggage policy and their employees just do whatever they feel like. My most recent flight, i checked to large bags and just paid for 3 cabin bags and priority. Apparently, according to the staff, they knew the plane had too full in the cabin. This meant they had to target a select number of bags to into the hold. Now, a normal airline just offers to take your bag at the gate for you, it is their mistake. Not Ryan air, they just tell you the wheel of your bag sticks out 2 cm, we will charge you almost what you paid to check your entire luggage immediately, then tell you it’s on you. I would have gladly paid to check in the bags in the bag check in, where they told me the bag was good to go. Never using this airline again. I used to enjoy the quick direct flights but I will never use them again.
Buy-on-board through the app is a great feature!
I had heard horror stories about Ryan air and was a little worried about my flights with them but I had 3 flights with them in Italy, Puglia and Sicily and it was a painless and smooth process. I was very happy.
Ryan air flight was good. Nothing to complain about. I had heard absolute horror stories about Ryan air so was worried about the flight but everything went smoothly. We have had two Ryan air flights with no problems. Last flight is Vernon come. Palermo to Milan. Fingers crossed.
The flight was 1h delayed. There was a flight attendant making announcements in the cabin, but it was impossible to understand whether the information was important or not. (Although whatever she was saying, it was clearly meant to be communicated to the passengers.) From the way she spoke, it sounded like Spanish, but only thanks to catching one word out of every five or six — mumbled through her teeth — I realized she was actually speaking English. It was quite embarrassing
What we can expect? Soon we will have to travel standing on the hallway. Let me be fair, I had worse experiences with Ryanair.
I didn't know that all connecting flights require online check-in two hours in advance, so I was fined 55 euros. This is a lesson learned.
Flight was over an hour late. Boarding was really messy with long queues at the plane.
Crazy and confusing check in process for connecting international flights. Extremely uncomfortable seats in economy, bad in flight service with useless attendants, 10 year old movie selection, inedible food + only 1 full meal for 12+ hours long flight - 2nd snack was a cold bun with 1 slice of tomato and 1 slice of cucumber; 3rd was 2 breads - 1 hot and 1 cold. Finally absolute bad information on arrival time - in flight suggested we will reach at 12 AM until last minute, when we landed it was 1:15 PM
The crew was business like and not very friendly. It was very disappointing in that they handed out the meal at the beginning of our journey. Eight hours later, they handed a sandwich and a drink. During their eight hour break all they did was sit in the back, looked at their phone and read. They never came down the aisle during those eight hours and offered another beverage or to See if there was anything they could do for the passengers.
Stews were nice. Plane was very old. Some of the mechanics for travelers outdated. Not enough bathrooms. Hideous food.
It was ok. Overall comfortable but Seat back could not be adjusted and food options were limited.
The price for Premium Economy seats very competitive and ITA beat the big guys in terms of fair. However, seat comfort was below expectations. Movie selection was poor. Food - absolutely horrible!! I felt like a prisoner for 13 hours being fed cold damp rolls and room temp water. NOT what I expected for Premium Economy!!
Our flight was changed to a day we could not travel so we cancelled it. Will never use kayak again
Most importantly, got us there and back safely and on time. Seats in Prem Econ spacious enough and comfortable. But pulldown footrest on both flights inadequate/broken. Crew...mixed: a few were quite pleasant, others seemed disinterested. Food was underwhelming. Yes, I know it's just "airplane food", so dont expect much... but even United is doing better now, and BA more so. Would I fly ITA again...perhaps. Price diff was main selector this time, almost 1K LESS/person than UA. I'm naturally frugal -- For 2K I'll put up with some small inconveniences.
ITA changed our 9 hr direct flight without giving any reason to 4 stop overs 24 hrs flight without delays.
Poor food choices for AVML. Totally out of the world food. Bad food menu.
Flight attendant really had bad behavior.. yelled at people when she is trying to defend, to have favor w her people..!
