India has restricted entry to most foreign travelers until at least February 28. However, certain eligible foreign nationals are able to travel to India via Vande Bharat flights or third country flights.
Until 28 February, travelers who are arriving from or have transited through the UK must be traveling on a direct flight from the UK to India.
Certain categories of Indian nationals and residents may enter the country on repatriation flights arranged by Ministry of Civil Aviation.
Nationals of Nepal and Bhutan may also enter the country.
Other exceptions exist for air cargo flights that carry goods for trade or essential goods and supplies, and their crew members, helpers, cleaners, etc. Travelers with an Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) card or booklet are eligible to enter the country, as are their minor children and spouses, or students attending an Indian institution, if one of the parents is a national of India or OCI card holder. Travelers may transit through India from a neighboring country if traveling via India to their country of residence.
The Indian Ministry of Home Affairs has issued new guidelines permitting certain categories of foreign nationals to travel to India on business. However it will require them to first obtain a fresh business or employment visa. For information categories and process, visit the Indian Bureau of Immigration website.
E-visas and tourist Visas are no longer valid.
Travelers must have a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 RT-PCR test result issued within 72 hours prior to departure.
All travelers must visit the New Delhi Airport website and submit a self-declaration form at least 72 hours prior to departure. Travelers who have been in Afghanistan, Bahrain, Brazil, France, Germany, Iraq, Kuwait, Netherlands, Oman, Qatar, Russian, South Africa, the UK, Ukraine or UAE in the past 14 days must submit to and pay for a confirmatory molecular test upon arrival.
Travelers arriving from Afghanistan, Bahrain, France, Germany, Iraq, Kuwait, Netherlands, Oman, Qatar, Russian, Ukraine or the UAE are subject to a COVID-19 molecular test upon arrival, at their own expense.
Travelers arriving from Brazil, South Africa or the UK are subject to a COVID-19 molecular test upon arrival and another test on day 7, at their own expense.
Travelers coming from or transiting through the UK, Brazil, and South Africa will have to quarantine at least 7 days even if they test negative upon arrival.
Travelers who test negative for COVID but were seated in the same row as, three rows before, or three rows behind a traveler arriving from the UK, South Africa, or Brazil who tests positive for COVID upon arrival will also be placed in institutional quarantine for at least 7 days pending additional testing.
Some states require quarantine for all individuals arriving from outside their borders with no exemptions. During the 14-day quarantine period, travelers are not permitted to use any form of public transportation or appear in any public location.
They may be required to provide contact details and be asked to download the Arogya Setu app.
Travelers are not allowed to transit through Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata or Mumbai.

The employees in Atlanta were, as they usually are, surly, and myself and fellow passengers had to wait on line for hours in the wee hours of the morning to be re-booked. Telephone or SMS should have been used for faster contact. I had already printed boarding passes for LH009 about 20 hours before flight time and ultimately arrived at HAM two hours before flight time and thought everything was in order. It ultimately was not, and my checked baggage never made it onto the connecting flight."

It didn't seem right that some of us had to stay in our little crowded area while others used up 4 seats and I don't mean for laying down."

This should not have occurred- I should not have to run to my gate from one flight to another especially when I raised this concern to an employee of Lufthansa as well as a customs officer."

Cons: "BA pulled a fast one on the passengers by first gradually increasing the projected delay, up to 3.5 hours, and then last minute changing the flight status from "delayed by 3.5 hours" to "on time, gate open". They did this without making any announcements on the loudspeaker, or sending any notifications to the passengers. Whoever didn't see the status change on a screen would have missed the flight. The crew must have recognized this (after half of the plane didn't show up), and just decided to wait some more, so our "on time" flight was eventually delayed by 1.5 hours only because the airline couldn't shepherd the passengers together when they were ready to leave."

I tried to explain to staff that her h4 visa is her us visa but didn't accept. Took almost 2 hours to get the back of the plane (where I was sitting) down to 27 degrees. Understand that temperature can only be reduced in small increments but why was the temperature on board allowed to get to 42 degrees prior to boarding?? The crew were brilliant, and hats off to them for working in such difficult conditions."

So the few people higher up in the rows had the opportunity... row 15 and lower didn't..."

That's insane. We had to wait forever to get the bags checked in and make it back to the gate. We didn't feel like valued customers and never going to fly British Airways again."

In short, AA left me stranded in a strange city at midnight with no accommodation and no luggage. It was 18 degrees and I was in t-shirt and shorts. What a memory."

They should not be in business . I paid them of course months ago and I was just out the 1400.00 dollars. British Airlines was amazed that they did nothing to help us out."

( I specifically flew into lax for the game that I spent $100 on tickets for) well I arrived to LAS at 5am by 515am I received my first notification that my flight wouldn't be leaving until 1030am.... I was a little annoyed but hey I'm still going to make it to my game, ( I just needed to let my ride know who's lives 3 hours away from LA that my flight was going to be 3 hours late not to rush) well about an hour later I got another notification that my flight was now being pushed back to 230pm.... at this point I have no choice but to look for another flight.... I found another flight on Southwest leaving Las at 1210pm arriving in lax at 120pm... perfect I can still make my game... That flight was boarding on time... ran into some hiccups on the runway... arrive to lax at 130pm... not a problem can still make my game... sat on the runway at lax until 335.... needless to say I missed the game... while in the air I received another text that my American airline flights was now pushed back to 530pm... mind you my day started at 5am on Las Vegas to catch a flight out at 720am.... Now had I not found that other flight I would have been sitting around Vegas airport for over 12 hours.... I was not a happy flier today, specially because the actual flight is normally no more than 45 minutes start to finish... I could have rented a car and drove... would have been cheaper and I would have made it to my game ...."

I was there when she called her supervisor and advised him/her of my location and of my needs and she received confirmation. Was not her fault."
Cons: "I checked in with American and a wheel chair attendant assisted me to my gate. My wheel chair needed charged and I was two hours early, so the attendant sat me at the charging station because there were no outlets in the gate area. She contacted her supervisor to advise of my location and that I would need assistance. Nobody came for me. I gathered my things the best I could and struggled to get to the gate to get attitude from the gate agent, telling me the wheel chair attendant was there looking for me. What ever happen to using a paging system when you know the passenger who is disabled checked in two hours earlier? Had someone paged, maybe I could have flagged their attention, or maybe they could have called the company in charge of handling their wheel chair attendance and would have known where I could be located. Either way, the attitude is uncalled for, especially when I apologized and stated that the wheel chair attendant was expected to help me."

It’s advertised you can buy a meal/snack/drink combo but the drinks did not come through at the same time and that was a mess. There didn’t seem to be any air vents above the seats so the flight was very stuffy. We will never fly Rouge again."

The plane was full load of people so it was really hot but the crew came by often with water refill. A lady besides me was coughing a lot and sure enough the stewardess came by with water and to ask if anything she could do without having been summoned. We rented tablets to see movies and I'm not very technological but the stewardess was very patient with me and took time to help me set up and she showed me how to go about in your application. The flights to and from Las Vegas were perfect and all thanks to the wonderful crew you have, even the pilot was standing at the entrance to greet us when we boarded which was great as I got to see who I was entrusting my life to during this 4h38 min flight, quite reassuring. Anyways, UA, Transat and AA take a back seat to Air Canada any day of the week!"

At that late hour could not the lights be slightly dimmed, the heavy beat pop music loop discontinued, and a dispensary machine with water, coffee or tea be in the departure area? There was none and the other shops had closed. It was overly bright, noisy and impossible to stretch out on the seats with rigid dividers."

It made for a good experience because i like looking out the window. However,I did not appreciate having to pay for it. I believe that since we incur a plethora of microcharges for everything on the plane ticket that it should include picking your own seat without a separate charge. It is likely a matter of time before we will be charged extra for salt on our pretzels."

Though we had checked in online, it still took forever to check in at the counter as the machines could not print out the bag tags, then there was another line up for dropping off the bags. Those machines also could not read foreign passports though Canadian ones were fine. So we had to wait for our friends who were from overseas. The stewardess doing the announcements went so fast you could not hear her except for a few words, and she had a very strong French accent so it sounded like she was speaking in French all the time. But at least she was better than the pilot, whom we could not hear at all. The only word we heard was "cloudy"."
