Cons: San Diego has a flight curfew and no planes can take off before 6:30AM, we had to sit and wait on the plane for 30 mins, it would be better to just have a 6:30 flight

Cons: To be told that I would be missing my connecting flight. I wasn’t told anything only that my flight was delayed. If I would of known I’d miss my flight I would of made other arrangements.

Pros: All of the problems started on Friday night when I was late for my flight because of the inefficiency of the ticketing counter. Due to the tragedy in Fort Lauderdale, a lot of flights were being rerouted to Orlando- which is completely understandable. But I stood in line for nearly two hours, watching no progress happen for the travelers in front of me. I watched my flight begin to board, and then I saw that it's status was closed. When I finally reached the front of the line because a nice woman stuck up for me, the lady at the ticketing counter said "why didn't you tell us?" BECAUAE THERE WAS A LINE and I'm not an animal, and therefore do not cut lines. Another woman also claimed to call for travelers with my flight, but she didn't. Furthermore, when told there wasn't another flight until Monday, I requested a refund. Travel wasn't possible for me on Monday. However, when I finally returned home from the airport, my boyfriend had found a ticket ONLINE from Spirit for Saturday. I was livid. It took three hours on the telephone to see if I could cancel the refund and have my flight rebooked for Saturday. The answer was no, so I bought it outright. Fast forward to Saturday, my dad called me to tell me that the flight was cancelled due to weather. There was no inclement weather in either Orlando or Latrobe. I spent another three hours on the phone seeking a refund- as the website only gives vouchers. I eventually got all of my money back. It took longer because Spirit was slow in issuing the refund, but I have it. Flying with Spirit will be something I will never attempt again. But you should know something is up when a company requires you to PAY for customer support....

Pros: The crew was amazing. Way more attentive than on other airlines.

Cons: The seat was slightly uncomfortable and for a day trip no recline was great but if I had flown overnight no recline would have been very bad. The trays were ridiculously small and there wasn't a wi-fi option or any information on where the plane was each moment. That being said keep prices low...

Pros: Best part of this flight was. finally getting off, 32 hours after we were scheduled.

Cons: This was hands down the worst managed flight ever! They delayed the plane something like 8 times. Always just 30 or 45 minutes so you couldn't leave and go do something. Finally we boarded 6 hours late. 55 minutes into the turned us around and sent us back to FL. So basically, everything.

Pros: I've had bad experiences with Spirit Airlines in the past at other airports and was a bit worried. I was pleasantly surprised that the flight was on time and flight attendants were friendly. Flight took off 10 minutes early and arrived 30 minutes before scheduled time!

Cons: Paying extra to reserve a seat. Carry-on fees are more expensive than check-in fees.

Cons: I didn't like that there are no complimentary snacks. I don't think WiFi was available either, which was inconvenient. The line for checking baggage was outrageous and unorganized. I had to run to the gate to make sure I caught my flight because of the checked bag line.

I bought the fly for a friend who is flying from Cleveland to Tampa, so I will pick her up (unfortunately I will need to drive 2:00 hours to go and 2:00 hours to get back home..

Cons: I tried to change my ticket. There would be a $99 fee plus the difference in price. To do that, I might as well purchase a new ticket. The price of the baggage was basically half the price of the ticket. Spent nearly $500 on what was supposed to have been a relatively less expensive flight

Cons: Luggage fee is excessive. Flight was really early in the morning when having yo travel to the airport, that was tough.

Cons: Arrived to the airport an hour before my international flight and was told I was unable to board because I had to be 2 hours in advance. Will not fly Spirit airlines again.

Pros: The crew was AMAZING- we flew with our two teen boys who were experiencing their first time flying. They were at ease due to the great crew and smooth flight. I personally didn’t know what to expect from a bargain-price airlines. Other than being nervous about the baggage requirements/weight/size and the initial baggage tagging check-in process, it went pretty well. I think if you are well prepared baggage-wise, it’s all pretty easy.

Cons: I didn’t care for the straight up sitting seats. they were ok, because our flight was only 2 hours. But I’m glad I’m an average sized woman & had a nice, average sized lady next to me. Not alot of wiggle room and no ability to adjust the seats.

Cons: They would not let us on the plane despite being there 25 min before the flight left. They said we had to check-in online, which we tried twice to do, but it wouldn't let me because a balance for our baggage and seats did not go through. Interestingly, when I entered the credit card info it never once told me the credit card was invalid or that any issue had occurred. When I called the number it gave when it wouldn't let me check in I got an automated system that had no option for "speak to a representative" or "check-in." The ticketing counter told me they literally can't print a ticket after 45 min until flight and Latrobe's single gate TSA checkpoint "closed" at 6:30 for this 7 flight. Meanwhile, I watched "security" walk behind the counter when we got there. Spirit refused to refun is the money for the flight. We will never fly Spirit or out of Latrobe PA EVER AGAIN.
