Long delay before boarding. By the time I was informed of the delay I was already at the gate.
One of the worst check-in experiences ever. Apparently, we were overweight and had to completely repack. They tried to charge us an extra $35 per bag on top of the standard checked baggage fee we had already paid in advance. Surprisingly, we managed to fit everything into our carry-ons and stayed under their precious 50-pound limit. (By the way, 23 kg is actually 50.7 lbs, so we couldn’t even go slightly over 50 according to the very unfriendly agent.)
Tight legroom. The breakfast was provided, which was a plus, and okay the taste.
Awful. We got the last seats and they don't recline. We've been on this horrible journey since 6am and won't get to our destination almost a full day later. Oh and no food, either. Never again.
Self check in is not indicated well if you approach Terminal 1 from Terminal 2 Parking
1.5 hour delay boarding plus 1+ hour sitting in plane waiting for ground crew to load luggage and freight, made for 3:00AM arrival in Seattle.
The plane was freezing and no blanquets available unless you buy them. My screen was bad so I couldn’t watch any entertainment.
Great service, great options, flight was bumpy so didn't get second beverage service and everything was communicated very clearly and courteously. No notes: everyone did great! Also loved the fun Hawaiian drink options (non-alcoholic).
While the flight itself was pleasant, the process of checking in was difficult. The line was long and our connection time was but two hours. When we finally got to the Hawaiian agent and told him that we were traveling on Alaskan Airlines, he told us we would need to go to a different terminal. I told him that another Hawaiian Airlines agent had directed us to him. I’m looking at our tickets, he noticed that the Alaskan Airlines flight was to be managed by a second party. He ended admonish us for not telling us so Rather than considering that we might’ve been right in the first place.
Only problem my credit card had over three pending credit card charges for luggages. I hope these charges do not post. I have already contacted my credit card companies.
It is southwest seat was ok. Not the most comfortable seat
I’ve always loved Southwest. No issues at all. I was flying standby and the gate agent was extremely friendly and helpful. Boarding was smooth and I was able to get a window seat in the emergency exit row. Crew was fantastic! They were very professional and accommodating. We had to divert from our destination due to weather but the flight crew kept everyone at ease and informed us of all pertinent information. Excellent flight
The price of the tickets isn't matching the flight experience. No matter how long the flight is, you're only getting pretzels. The flight attendants looked unkept and over it.
Plz don't take away free bags and free seating
The seats were a bit cramped and worn, but otherwise okay.

After a 3 hour layover in Denver my flight was delayed over 5 hours! No explanation; no assistance; no offer to provide compensation; no one at Southwest was willing to offer any assistance. 8 hours in the Denver airport - ridiculous!

Only one drink pass through the cabin for a 4 hour flight. Quite rough and bumpy landing.
Boarding process, crew were good. But the seats were so uncomfortable that was all I could focus on. I literally had to sit forward so that all 3 of us could fit in row. I will try to avoid Southwest in the future for any flights over 60 minutes.
No tv’s. Had to walk 45 minutes to connect to next flight. Couldn’t get dinner as a result. Ended up eating pretzels until I felt sick.
Overall a great experience. The starlink internet was amazing addition.
They cancelled our flight and one after and then crammed everyone on a late flight. Refused to give us a meal voucher because the delay was less than 3 hours. In the end the delay was 4 hours. No reason was ever given for the cancelled flights. Fly Southwest!
There was mention of a complimentary magazine but none were in the seat pockets. The flight is short so understandable not having food or a snack.
unexpected $120 charge to sit next to my wife on an isle seat in the economy section. Looks like there pre-assigning us both on the middle seat was intentional - leaving the isle seat next to my wife open at $120 was a ploy to make more money. Not good business.
Flight delayed. Then left much later than new time. 88 year old dad waiting at Kona airport for ages.
This is my first time flying Hawaiian. It was so disorganized and poorly coordinated, resulting in the most unacceptable delay
The flight from HON to Hilo caused a few problems, but we were helped by the checking agent at Hawaiian Airlines with tech assistance. My wife & I are in our 70's and not QR code savvy. But we are learning.
Boarding was a nightmare. Almost everyone was on group 4 and there was no line people crowded the check in and made things more chaotic than they needed to be.
The flight crew made the trip pleasant considering they had to work in conditions similar to a sardine can.
