Great flight and friendly staff
Flight was on time, we left early and arrived early! Flight attendants were very kind.
The aircraft room and comfort
The flight was comfortable and enjoyable.
The crew welcomed us on board the night of December 31st. They celebrated New Year with us and created a comfortable and celebrative atmosphere. Amazing service!
We did not have the little TVs
The food and the uncomfortable seats. Also more flight attendants should be bilingual. Tv needs more updated selection.

Online check in didn't work for selecting seats Was not allowed to carry any water on (even though I had food poisoning) No seat tv screens for entertainment Flight was late by an hour- no mention of this through announcements 6 hour flight- only 1 time did we get service Missing panel in plane and so we saw the insulation and wiring on the wall next to our seats

The chairs were not comfortable at all
Because the lady take aur bagagge the bascula is doesnt work she was very rud but we go to the other lady the bagagge was correct because we know is okey because we check at home in the airport too so agter that yhey know the bascula is bas and she don say sorry end enyrhing for the bad time she was lake I dont care so that happen

In flight entertainment system and food was good. I appreciated that they had a vegetarian option available.
We had booked through SAA but then they codeshared with LATAM. Our e-tickets included an online booking code, but then this is not accepted on the LATAM website where one has to go for early check-in, or to check-in using the machines at the airport. Latam had very few agents at the check-in so there were long lines of people waiting. Then, even though this was our return flight with them, LATAM's system wouldn't recognize the names of our two children. So we spent more than an hour at the check-in desk. By the time they cleared us they had then lost all of our seat reservations, so we had tickets for all over the plane and had to then work with the attendants on board to at least get one child with each parent. There was a 6 hour delay in leaving. LATAM said they had to ensure that their emergency landing options on the route where accessible and apparently there was bad weather in Abijan. SAA though left on the same route just before we were scheduled to leave and presumably arrived on time. I don't know why they were ok to go but LATAM was not. We had to wait two hours before they gave food vouchers. The food was good but could only come from one restaurant. It had limited choices and very long lines after an entire planeload of people descended on it. Apparently also little was done to rebook us on our connecting flights, though the SA agent in J'burg scrambles and got us on the next flight.
1 hour delay, bad food, uncomfortable seats.
I really love this flight... it was the dreamliner... we enjoyed using our miles for the upgrade and splurging due to the holidays.
Not allowed to board because of lack of a yellow fever vaccination certificate ...huge loss of money ... vacation ruined
