Why no food or snacks?
The fact air canada booted me and my year and a half year old off the plane. They gave me no compensation for the fact that they did this. So not impressed I never made it to Montreal
My first flight with Air Canada (TCA) was 64 years ago in 1953 and the airline still feels safe and solid.
Food seemed OK but we both suffered severe stomach upset after the flight. From gate to gate in Montreal was many thousand steps. Crazy.

After landing in Newar. One had to exit into the terminal and in order to connect, I had to go through TSA again, and the line was way too long. I had 2 hrs between flights and was able to make the connection, but I'm not sure if I only had one hour... I would have probably missed my connection.
We did not crash. Eventually we got to our destination.
All flights were awful. None were on time. I paid for economy plus aisle seat but was put in economy middle seat anyway. Asked for refund and was sent to 3 different people. The final person, a gate agent for my departing gate, Peggy Hunter, told me that she has 35 years experience and she knows everything about United Airlines’ processes. Told me the only way I might get a refund is to submit online but that paying extra for a seat upgrade doesn’t mean I will actually get one and that I should read the fine print on the ticket. Had previously spoken to another gate agent who had told me that I could ask for a refund at the departing gate. Wifi didn’t work. On one of three delayed flights had to beg for water to take my medicine. I will make extra efforts to avoid using this mediocre airline.
Paying for entertainment
I really like how your flights are inexpensive compared to others when trying to purchase a last minute ticket.
The last two times I traveled ( I flew with United Airlines ) and both times my flights were delayed. The first time it was delayed by 4 hours and made me miss an appointment. The second time it was delayed by over 13 hours. It was nice that United had put me in a hotel room for the night, but again it took away from time in which I needed to be somewhere else.
Never made it and had to go yet to another desk because it was a united flight this was the worst i have ever experienced

Long flights should have something edible.
Crew were very nice.
Poor food for vegetarians. Also the overhead space was not locked properly. Suddenly, it opened and my carry on fell out. Luckily, it didn’t hit my husband who had the aisle seat or anyone else. However, I am upset because my laptop was inside this and may be damaged now.
The only decent point was the food. Not great but at least edible.
Since check in in São Paulo was a complete chaos. There were only 2 people helping on check in (in machines) and these people were still not helping people (like me) with questions about on how to do check in in those machines. On the other hand to dispatch the bags there were almost 8 attendants to receive the bags. Ridiculous! I’ve tried calling American Airlines and Latam several times to assign a seat for me and they swore there were only middle seats but I know how airlines work to make extra money on these seats. At the end, they only gave me a middle seat option and I had to take I.t of course. On the plane I realized there were dozens of empty seats and yet they made sure not give them to me or anyone else. Unbelievable! Unfortunately I still have to use AA on my way back to Brazil. After this, I’ll chose another airlines for sure. Also, the 3,4,3 arrangement is ridiculous: there’s no corridor space making people touching you everything someone passes by your seat. And boy! Those seats are so uncomfortable and there’s no way to incline the chair so you can even have a little rest (because it’s impossible to even sleep on those seats). The crew were simply doing their jobs! No pleasure! No smile! No engaging with anyone unfortunately! They looked miserable and I asked for water and the flight attendant NEVER brought me anything. Seriously! Water is free!
6hours delay and no reimbursement. It sucked! Thank you.

The flight was delayed and my luggage is coming in the later flight. I need some form of consolation for this pathetic service.
