I ended up having to race to the it terminal in 10 minutes. I checked my bag because they said they were running out overhead space and then they went and put my bag on a LATER FLIGHT so I still don’t have my bag"

Cons: "Asked if there were any exit rows available, gate attendant wasn’t helpful at all. Many were empty but only received attitude when I inquired about it. Never had such an issue in the past. Not with AA nor any other airline. Except maybe the super cheap low-cost carriers, e.g. spirit and frontier. My rocket was not basic economy and I am an AAadvantage credit card member!"

Pros: "The actual flight itself was fine and the inflight entertainment provided good entertainment."
Cons: "From the begining the trip was plagued by delays. I was supposed to leave Monterey at 0600, we didnt leave until 0630. Then my Phoenix flight was delayed by two hours that caused me to shift flights in Charlotte because i would miss my connection. Lastly, they had to change a break on the plane leaving Charlotte so instead of getting home at 7 like i was supposed to, i got into Norfolk at 1139 pm."

Cons: "I didn't like the fact that I was told to preboard when I checked in before the flight and was told by another employee i was in group 6 and shouldnt be in line. Had to explain why I was preboarding and didn't like having to hold up the line. It was embarrassing."

Pros: "Again, it seemed to me there was more legroom in first class than on similar Delta flights - meaning it was more comfortable. Also, there was a delay of a couple of hours leaving Dallas due to a problem with the plane's radio, and the American employees handled it very well, keeping the passengers informed and smoothly transferring everyone to a substitute plane."

Cons: "Seats are built for very small people. My knees were pressed into some hard surfaces for the entire 3+ hour flight. Made it a little painful to walk when we landed. The movie screens (not headrest systems) were all up overhead so you get a neck cramp watching anything. The headrest behind me pressed my shoulders forward and the extendable part would not stay up. The window stopped at about my shoulder so to look out I had to crouch down. AA better stop squeezing us for profits and start delivering a quality service or we'll all find some other airline that puts passengers first."

Took WAY too long to get wheelchairs to unload passengers off the plane that was to take us to Dallas. Sat on the tarmac for additional 20 min. Delay cost me an additional 2 1/2 hours later in Dallas and FIVE hours in London airport!!"

Cons: "The flight had to circle LHR for about an hour, and I almost missed my connecting flight to EDI, even though I had a 2.5 hour layover. I also paid over $1,700 for a one-way ticket and $300 in baggage fees, and should have been upgraded before any of the mileage program freebies."

My mom is a senior citizen and the last thing she needed to be doing was schlepping all of her things to and from the airport in fridged temps. She’s battling a major cough and is now so exhausted!! This is totally unacceptable...not to have a captian?!???! Please respond as to how I will be reimbursed or what I can do to feel satisfied."

I was sent to three different counters regarding my onward travel - sent from terminal to terminal. No onward travel was resolved and I eventually just paid for a train onward. I was told this was because it was a weather delay but at the boarding gate multiple announcements were made about repairing the plane and replacing batteries. United deliberately wasted my time and never fulfilled their obligations to get me to my destination. (Additionally, wifi and entertainment was not functional the entire 11 hour flight)"

Pros: "I am slow walking due to health issues. Coming from Kansas City to Chicago was a problem. My daughter who was with me is physically handicapped. There was no transportation to assist us to get from one terminal to another one when we arrived. Thank goodness we had a two and one-half hour overlay. Going home was a different story. Two wonderful gentleman met us as we disembarked and speedily got us to our flight. We only had 30 minutes and they made sure we were there. Issac and the other man are to be commended!"

Airline change because of depart time in msp from united to American meaning we had to go from term1 to term 3 at ord in 20 min 21/2 hrs getting home. All delays due to mechanical problems. United needs to get their act together Our last trip with them,if at all possible."

Cons: "6'2" broad shoulders and uncomfortable. Sitting by the window meant my leg had to be 5 inches over due to the curvature of the plane. Both of my knees were on the back of the seat and I was at an angle. The lady next to me looked like she did't like me being turned toward her. Many extra seats including the emergency exit row (that has more room) was available when we took off but I was told we couldn't sit there without paying extra. Cheap 1 hour flight. Won't tolerate it for anything else."

Her flight was delayed, delayed again, delayed again, and then cancelled. She was flying alone and should have received top priority and been one of the first called up to figure out how to get her to her destination. But that did not happen. She didn't know what to do at first then got in the long line of people and waited her turn. ONLY TO BE TOLD THAT HER ONLY OPTION WAS TO FLY OUT ON A LATER FLIGHT TO HOUSTON WHICH WOULD MAKE HER MISS HER CONNECTING FLIGHT ANT THEN STAY THE NIGHT ALONE IN HOUSTON AND WAIT THE ENTIRE NEXT DAY THERE UNTIL 9 THE NEXT NIGHT TO CATCH HER FINAL FLIGHT TO SALT LAKE CITY. I cannot even explain how angry and horrified I was that your airline thought that was acceptable for an unaccompanied minor! Clearly this one option that was offered to her by you was not accepted. Then she calls and a guy tells her he can get her there and is going to book her new flights.....only to get disconnected and never called her back. After that there was no one to be found at the desks for your airline. At this point I had driven back to the airport (spent hours driving and waiting) when a wonderful lady from a different airline helped my daughter out and got her on a different airline. However she had to check her bag due to her seating after all the hard work she put in to not checking her bag."

I specifically asked on the phone to be moved to an American Airlines flight later that day, and was told that flight would be cancelled. Drove to the airport because I didn't understand how both the flights were cancelled with perfect weather in the departure and destination cities. The people at the airport moved us to the American flight that I was previously told was cancelled. Would have been much easier to do over the phone, but I was lied to on the phone."
