Crew was very pleasant and helpful. One flight attendant stood out: he was so sincerely nice & welcoming. As we were preparing to deplane, another flight attendant congratulated him on finishing his first week as a Delta flight attendant. He then told us this was his new second career and that he was a retired police lieutenant. Impressive.

We had to check a dog so we had to go through the special needs line, they had 2 out of 20 of ticket lines open. My wife also needs a wheelchair and after 45 minutes of standing in line, I spoke to one of the idiots that are supposed to be there to help and he went and got a wheelchair which I had to push my wife in the wheelchair through the zig zag line with 2 large suit cases and a dog. It took us an hour and a half to get tickets and then they called for someone to push the wheelchair and we where told to wait for them there. We waited for 10 minutes for someone to come but no one came so I started pushing her towards the Sercurity check line and finally someone came to push her and he stayed on his phone the entire time. When my wife got to the point where she needed to walk through the metal detector she was having a little trouble getting out of the chair so they told her to just stay in the chair and they would push her through in the wheelchair. When she got through, they almost strip searched her and patted her down like she was a criminal. That took another 25 minutes!!! They the guy pushed her to our gate and insisted on taking the chair back with him, so 5 minutes later they asked if it was anyone who needed assistance getting on the plane. I went up and told them that my wife needed a chair to get on the plane so they had to call and get another chair which took another 10 minutes and finally we got on the plane. It took us 2 hours and 15 minutes to get a ticket and go through Sercurity!!!! Very very very unprofessional!!!"
The boarding process was unusually long on all four of the flights I took recently. Either people are boarding out of their zones being called, or the zones are backwards. It appeared that people in the aisle seats were seated first but then had to get up to allow window seat passengers to get settled. It should be reversed.
Flight got canceled due to weather. Stranded in DFW with my elderly father. Will flight again with AA out of necessity but they offer a terrible service.
This was the worse leg of the flight. It delayed for over an hour due to mechanical issues and lack of ground crew to push the plane for take off. Never thought of this from a giant company such as AA. Definitely a bad experience!😕

You might also want to add to your instructions how to disembark the plane, some individuals think their schedule is more important and rush up the isle in front of others who are trying to get their carry on luggage from the overhead compartment. Cons: "This was a horrible travel experience, the worst I have ever known. My uncle had died, so I had to search for the soonest and most economical flight in order to attend the funeral. Traveling with me was my aunt (his ex wife) and my cousin (his only daughter). Our initial flight was delayed 'due to mechanical issues' and they said we weren't going to make our connection in Phoenix. So they had to reroute the whole trip, which took about half an hour because all of the flights were full. So instead of flying from LGB - PHX - CLT - CAE and arriving Saturday night, we ended up departing from LAX (which we specifically were trying to avoid) almost 9 hours later. From there to DEN - CLT - GSP arriving Sunday morning. Because of this I had to contact the hotel and let them know that we weren't going to check-in until the next day, but I still ended up having to pay for Saturday night. Then, I had to cancel the rental car and make a new reservation to pick it up at GSP and return at CAE since the hotel was close to CAE, plus the return flight was through CAE. Also, wifi was an additional cost (which we didn't use because of this), the snacks were pitiful, and the seats were very narrow and uncomfortable. I have flown with JetBlue in the past, but on this occasion, last minute flights to South Carolina were prohibitively expensive. That being said, if I had known how bad the experience with American was going to be, I would have gladly paid literally double the price for the JetBlue tickets. And in the future, I will be flying exclusively with JetBlue no matter what the cost."
