My daughter has a nut allergy, instead of it being private the flight attendant comes over to you, announces that you have a nut allergy and then does not allow anybody in your road to have nuts. It was extremely embarrassing for my daughter, and she felt targeted because somebody in our row wanted nuts. If you have people with nut allergies, you should just not allowed nuts on that flight instead of calling out each individual person with a nut allergy so everybody else knows they are the reason they do not get a nut.
Delta does a great job in general. However, the “Comfort+“ seats weren’t worth the money. I sat in both seats, and I compared the width of the seats and the distance from the seat edge to the back of the seat in front of it. There was a difference of about 2” in the seat width and 1” in the leg room. Very disappointing.

Got on the hotel’s shuttle bus and the driver announced that HoJo was full and all voucher holders would go to Rodeway Inn but those without vouchers would go to HoJo....huh!?? Called HoJo and the same person I’d spoken to 20 mins prior said it was correct, that Rodeway was a sister property. The Rodeway Inn Metro Airport is pretty disgusting. This is my opinion after coming from remote Mexico and extensive travel in Africa. It should be torn down. Delta/HoJo should not send customers there."

This flight was changed twice, the first time I received an email notification telling me the new flight was an hour later. When I got my check-in email 24 hours before my trip was to begin I noticed the arrival time for my return flight had been changed again, this time arriving another hour later. I received no notice for this change. Other than a shuttle service, there are no late night public transit options from the Victoria airport into town--a 25 minute drive. I was left with 10 minutes between the late arrival of my flight to claim my bags, clear customs and try to make the last shuttle. I specifically purchased my ticket so I would have plenty of time to make this connection. I missed it and wound up having to take a $60 (not including tip) taxi to get into town. Changing my itinerary to arrive 2 hours later without notifying me is unacceptable. I've never had any pot-purchase itinerary changes happen to me on Alaska Airlines, which also has regular service between Seattle and Victoria. I'm inclined to make sure I always use them from now on."

The passengers in 1A and 1B started reclining even before departure, and during the whole flight. For me and my neighbor, with that seat on our chest, it was impossible to reach down to the seat-back pocket, not to mention to the bag stowed under the seat in front. To get out of the seat, I almost could not get my legs through the 5-in. interval between the back of the front seat and the irremovable armrest. I shook the passenger sleeping in 1B rather violently a couple times. The lady in seat 2B apologized, but she had to climb and put her feet on my seat to get out of hers, there was really no other way. Delta needs to address this ridiculous situation of their First Class seats urgently."

We left the gat late, then pilot said we would still be arriving half an hour early. We arrived about 45 minutes late, and that was a problem because our connecting flight was due to depart now in 15 minutes. Lightning forced the airport to shutdown, which was great, we had a chance to catch our flight, but we were stuck in the airplane, and we couldn't get to our gate until the all-clear. I know this is not Delta's fault, but they did arrive quite late on a flight that, according to them, would be early. They also never communicated to the other flight that there were several passengers catching that connection. So by the time we had ran to catch our connection they had closed the ramp. Lightning hit again, and they shutdown the airport once again, so the airplane was still at the gate for about an hour, and they did not allow the 20+ passengers to board that plane, which was right there. So frustrating. The only thing that saved it was that our new flight was the new airbus, and although it left an hour and a half later, the comfort level was phenomenal."

American Airlines sucks. Lost my luggage the food is terrible the flight attendants are rude. Departure was 40 minutes late!! This company is a joke. Every time I have used them the plains need last minute fuel technical issues. Always something. They actually forgot to put ice on the plane. I mean what kinda people work there.

In that case why wasn't it taken care of before my flight ever started? Anyone inspecting the plane properly in between the previous flight and mine would have and should have seen the same error messages on the screen I saw, and resolved it then. ''Hot'' food in the main meal was salty and lukewarm. Also irritating that flights for 3 people booked 5 months ahead of take off with no option for us to choose seats should end up with 3 separate seats at opposite ends of the plane. Should automatically assign seats together for people booking that far out, on a first come first serve basis or allow seat assignment at time of booking by the customer. This flight was about the typical experience most passengers have come to expect from companies who have too much power and really don't care about the customers they are supposed to serve. This is not a reflection of the actual crew on the flight itself, they were average, not bad, but not great."

Cons: "This was a horrible travel experience, the worst I have ever known. My uncle had died, so I had to search for the soonest and most economical flight in order to attend the funeral. Traveling with me was my aunt (his ex wife) and my cousin (his only daughter). Our initial flight was delayed 'due to mechanical issues' and they said we weren't going to make our connection in Phoenix. So they had to reroute the whole trip, which took about half an hour because all of the flights were full. So instead of flying from LGB - PHX - CLT - CAE and arriving Saturday night, we ended up departing from LAX (which we specifically were trying to avoid) almost 9 hours later. From there to DEN - CLT - GSP arriving Sunday morning. Because of this I had to contact the hotel and let them know that we weren't going to check-in until the next day, but I still ended up having to pay for Saturday night. Then, I had to cancel the rental car and make a new reservation to pick it up at GSP and return at CAE since the hotel was close to CAE, plus the return flight was through CAE. Also, wifi was an additional cost (which we didn't use because of this), the snacks were pitiful, and the seats were very narrow and uncomfortable. I have flown with JetBlue in the past, but on this occasion, last minute flights to South Carolina were prohibitively expensive. That being said, if I had known how bad the experience with American was going to be, I would have gladly paid literally double the price for the JetBlue tickets. And in the future, I will be flying exclusively with JetBlue no matter what the cost."
