Cons: Extremely bad service at the ticket counter. Really disappointed, really disappointedRead more about Cathay Pacific
Cons: Extremely bad service at the ticket counter. Really disappointed, really disappointed
Pros: Premium Economy did not meet our expectation compared to even US airlines.
Cons: Crew Service was not very good.
Cons: A little tight on time between transfers.
Pros: Entertainment option
Cons: 4hr to repair a tire, and crew rest limitation made extra stop at Taipei
Pros: I liked the comfort of my location and seat
Cons: No wifi on a over 14 hour flight is ridiculous in this day and age. They didn't have wifi on both my flights. I would think twice before flying an airline so far without wifi.
Pros: The flight crew were helpful and attentive. Directions were clear and the boarding was organized.
Cons: The seats! The seat was uncomfortable that I had to use my U shaped neck pillow as a seat cushion. My flight was 15+ hours but within 3 hours my behind was killing me.
Pros: I paid $190 for extra legroom for an economy seat by an exit door, however the remote for the entertainment screen encroached an inch on the already VERY narrow seats - I'm six foot three and 215 pounds and both hips were in full pressing contact against the sides of the seat - TOO NARROW!
Cons: Seats too narrow in Economy.
Pros: Cathay Pacífic always high standard
Pros: Was good service onboard
Cons: They could be upgraded my whole itinerary and not just 1/4 of the trip
Pros: Entertainment was OK, but no wi fi offered.
Cons: I AM FURIOUS VOYAMA SPELLED MY NAME WRONG 'RUSSELLG" CONNECTED AS ONE WORD RATHER THAN "RUSSELL G EWALD." WHEN I FOUND THIS OUT A DAY AND A HALF BEFORE MY FLIGHT, THEY REFUSED SAID NO CHANGE CAN BE MADE LESS THAN 48 HOURS IN ADVANCE. I WROTE FOR RETURN FLIGHT WEEK IN ADVANCE AND WON'T CHANGE IT
Pros: Crew was good
Cons: Food was not good
Pros: Actual plane was in good condition and as comfortable as a plane can be. Very good selection of in flight entertainment.
Cons: Flight attendants were rude and made you feel that you were bothering them. Beverage offered twice in 15 1/2 hours. Beverages when available if you want to ask the flight attendant, but again, they were definitely put out when you asked them. Caroline wasn’t kept clean throughout the 15 1/2 hours- i’m accustomed to light attendance walking through the isles periodically to get customers garbage regular league so that it doesn’t build up.
Cons: Delay flight, slow
Pros: Crew was nice to direct you to where your seat is. Food was good.
Cons: Snacks n drinks..water or soda offered after few hrs from dinner. Passengers should not ask for drinks or snack. I mean crackers or biscuits few hrs in mid flight. Even if passengers are mostly asleep, a crew member can walk down aisles with a tray of snacks. This will help some people wha mught not like the food or type 2 diabetic people who needs to eat n drink every 2 to 3 hrs. Signage on boarding gate is not clear. Your flight number and boarding time was in small projected sentences under a huge lettered former destination place.
Cons: Both the USB and headphone Jacks were busted. Just had a bad seat this time.
Pros: Staff was terrific. On time. That’s most important.
Cons: Seats were not great. Don’t recline properly. Food Very salty. No WyFy. Issue with point allocations and issue entering business Lounge. Purchased membership for this purpose . Was downgraded on my Marco Polo Membership. An error by the airlines. Won’t fly again with this airlines as a result.
Pros: I paid for extra legroom so the seats were fine. The staff was fine.
Cons: I flew United, not Cathay Pacific. The food. I have had much better food in all five other International trips I have taken in the last year.
Cons: i had a surfboard bag that weighed 11lbs and my daughter had a surfboard bag that weighed 21 lbs and we are being charged $200 each both ways for a total charge of $800 round trip. This is an outragous fee for surfboard and other airlines specificly Alaskian Air, Quanties, and Virgin Australia have been letting us travel with surfboard bags for free that weight 3 times that much. I will never take Cathay Pacific again as we paid more for these flights because we had heard they do not charge for surfboard and they have great service. I had a total of $1200 fspending money for food and transportation for my trip to Bali. That leaves me with $400. Never again will I travel with Cathay Pacific and I will be spreading the word through social Media! Not a Happy Customer!!!
Pros: Loved the service of the crew, the food, and the spacious seating.
Cons: WiFi would be a nice addition.
Pros: Smooth flight on Cathay Pacific, as usual. Great service from the crew, even in economy class. Best airline across the Pacific.
Cons: Nothing. Everything was great.
Pros: Crew was very nice. On time.
Cons: No inflight movie available. Long flight. I am a 6 foot American and the seats are just not comfortable if the person in front leans seat back. 15 inched from your face for a 12 hour flight is not fun.
Pros: Took off late, missed transfer flight, payed over 6 hours said they would buy lunch dinner. Could pay for hamburger with it, frltf
Pros: Cathay Pacific offers terrific service and decent food. The entertainment selection was good. Sitting in economy is tough for 14.5 hours unless you’re in a pod.
Cons: Seats were a bit cramped, not a lot of legroom. The overhead bin for the middle row in aisle 64 is smaller than other bins.
Pros: Very clean everyone was nice, easy getting on and off flight
Cons: Movie and tv selection pretty bad! And seats not comfortable compared to the longer Cathay Pacific flight I had just taken.
Pros: service was excellent
Cons: boarding took very long.
Pros: The entertainment is in regards to the movie choices that I had. I wish my screen was a little bigger.
Cons: My flight from Los Angeles to Hong Kong was cancelled due to a problem with the plane. I stood in line for 2 and a half hours at the airport only to have them tell me this. There was not visible sense of urgency on part of the staff at Cathay Pacific and they did not seem to have a contingency plan to deal with such a situation. I especially felt sorry for some of the elderly people who were also in line all that time with noting to drink and no place to sit.
Pros: watching movies and tv is excellent. Crew provides excellent service. The most comfortable seats.
Cons: bathrooms were dirty
Pros: More leg room, incline on seats, blanket, pillow.
Cons: All the adverts on Premium Economy with Cathay Pacific are inaccurate. It is NOT your secluded compartment. The curtain to economy is ALWAYS kept open...NO privacy. Food is EXACTLY SAME as economy. In LAX had to REMIND them that Premium Economy has priority boarding. There is no champagne on arrival at your seat...you have to ASK for it. Crew is always HURRIED. When you ask for a beverage or a snack, hostess and stewards have ATTITUDE. it's like they are doing a big FAVOR. Really??? we spent lots of EXTRA MONEY to be in this class. Restroom was difficult to access. Overall MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT
Pros: Everyone is kind!
Cons: It was operated by an alliance air company but I bought thru American Airlines, I even didn't know that was a coshare because I started the first leg with American, once it got cancelled they said that they couldn't do anything, and the other company said that the ticked was issued by American, nightmare. BTW I'm a Platinium member of American Airlines, what thy should at least give a little attention since I fly every month.
Pros: Overall from accommodations to friendly staff my experience with the Cathay Pacific air is outstanding. I will recommend it to all of my family & friends! Thank you CPAir!
Pros: Being upgraded to premium economy was one of the best surprises ever in my life. Wide Seat and leg space, great food selection, baggages not misplaced, up to date email notification of flight status very much appreciated!!!
Cons: hong kong lkayover
Cons: Delayed flight
Pros: Clean lavatories
Cons: Always ran out of what we wanted for our meal, for both meals we didn't get our chosen meal. Ran out of snacks, not enough food. Water served from pitcher tasted moldy.
Pros: They gave 250 ml bottle water each on breakfast and dinner I like that . The crew members were helpful and friendly
Cons: There was less choice of movie. It would be good if they add more Bollywood movies and movies with more than 4 rankings.
Pros: Overall service excellent.
Cons: The gap time between the connecting flight is short u have to pass the security and after that a long walk going to the gate of the next flight other than that it's excellent. My concern is if the passenger has a health problem he/she going to have a shortness of breath. The crew/staff who assist me excellent.
Pros: Nice staff, clean planes.
Cons: Only issue was connecting gate in Hong Kong was extremely far and had to run to make connection. A bit of warning might have helped.
Pros: DIrect flight to HK
Cons: The flight was freezing, blankets were worn and dirty, floor was dirty, seats were dirty, food was extremely basic.
Pros: My son enjoyed the flight and the worker where very nice to him.
Pros: Service was ok
Cons: I booked my reservation with kayak and pick out choice seats , when I check in was told by Cathay that they do not honor seat reservation from a 3rd party. I also paid for the exit seats so We have open space.. Very disappointed.
Pros: The crew on this particular flight were incredible. They went above and beyond on every aspect. The best service I've ever received on a flight and I fly 40-50 times a year.
Pros: Food, service, in-flight entertainment, and overall feeling of safety and comfort.
Pros: Belle and Rainbow were great hostesses
Pros: The wonderful people and the service they provided with a great attitude.
Cons: The food was only OK.
Pros: Very Comfortable seats. Great service.
Cons: Food could be a bit tastier.
Pros: Food and crew
Cons: Passenger next me kept getting up and flopping down in the seat, waking me up.
Pros: There wasnt much to like about the flight except that we didnt end up dead.
Cons: Where do you start? Boarding process made no sense so i wont even try to explain it. Just trust me. Once we got on the plane they wouldnt let me plug into the usb port while we were on the ground. Food Service was terrible. They woke me up (minutes after id fallen asleep) for both food service. First time i thought was accident. Second time i asked them not to wake me up and they said i have to get a do not disturb sticker (why wasnt i just given one before so i could make the decision to use it or not on my own?) Also the food was terrible. I dont expect much from airline food but i can say ive had acceptable meals on other airlines (emirates and lufthansa). The food was not what i expected for one of the highest rated airlines. The flight attendant had me put the seat up during food service so the lady behind me could eat. Wtf?? Never had to do that on another airline. When i was not sleeping they rarely came down the isles with water or juice trays. (I saw it once toward the end of the flight)...and trust me i didnt miss it because i was sleeping. When i did get water i had to beg for ice as well.
Cons: We were 40 minutes late leaving L.A. and I missed my connecting flight in Hong Kong. Had to wait two and half hours for the next flight to Bangkok!
