I was also not told which Terminal the plane would go to in LAX and which terminal the connecting flight would be leaving from. They were not sure! Consequently I floundered around at LAX wasting time and bothering people for information that should have been known to me. The security checks are over the top and inconsistent in the US.

Cons: The overhead bin did not stay down low enough so that I could place my bag in. It would lower then before I could place my bag raise slightly by a few inches. For someone of my height (5’5”) that was problematic. Fortunately another passenger saw my dilemma and held the bin lower to its full opening capacity. This also momentarily slowed down the boarding process.

Pros: During my experience on 19 November I encountered only wonderful crew members, from the gate attendants to the on-flight crew. Everyone was extremely helpful and kind.
Cons: Earlier in the day when I was checking in, there was a prompt to be added to the list of volunteers to take a different flight should one of my later flights (it did not specify, I flew from DAY to ATL, and then ATL to ORF) was overbooked. My schedule was accommodating enough that I selected yes. In ATL I was called up as a potential volunteer as they needed 3 volunteers to take a later flight that day. I was told that I was not initially assigned a seat since I had earlier agreed to be a potential volunteer. I was okay with all of this. We were told that the decision would be made at the end of boarding, and we would know if our seats were needed. At the end of boarding they called for the 3 volunteers to board. I was the last one to board and was given my seat assignment. Once I got on the plane I saw that someone had already been assigned my seat and let a flight attendant know what had happened. I stood on the plane for about 10 minutes while the flight attendants and other crew members tried to figure out what had happened. My name was not listed under any cabin (main, comfort, etc) even though I had a ticket and a seat assignment. Eventually they had to open the doors again for me to get off the plan as there were no available seats. Once I got back to the gate podium I was booked on a later flight, as would have been the case had the normal course of action for volunteering to give up my seat taken place. Everyone was extremely helpful in trying to figure out what had happened, but it was still frustrating that it had to happen in that way. Luckily I don't believe the delay caused any major delay for the flight. In the end, things worked out fine, it just seems as though this is an issue that didn't need to happen.

Pros: I arrived in Sydney the day I was supposed to. Everything else was a let down and was not what I paid for.
Cons: American Airlines cancelled a flight because of ‘weather’ from Msy to dfw, all other flights from Msy to Dallas operated on time but were sold out. We were re booked flying through San Francisco, missing out on flying on qantas, which is what I had paid for since they are a premium airline. We were booked on virgin America and then United for the international flight. United charged us each for 2 bags totalling $150 each, despite we booked a ticket with qantas which allows 2 bags each. Virgin America honoured our 2 bags, but united refused to. United also has service and aircraft which do not match the levels of qantas which I has specifically sought out. I could not eat some of the food because of the poor quality, and this is something I’ve never done before on an international flight. Additionally their were a lack of amenities on both flights, and no food vouchers despite our travel delay of over 5 hours. This whole ordeal has cost me money, worktime, and created a lot of stress to where I have had to cancel meeting on my arrival in Sydney.

Cons: I purchased a round trip ticket to Miami for my infant son and I to accompany my wife on her business trip. First off, there was a 2.5 hour delay. The flight was overbooked. The lady at the ticket counter would not switch my seat to be seated next to my wife and 4 month old infant. Luckily the gentleman beside her was willing to switch seats so that she could comfortably breast feed our son. My checked luggage was severely damaged. The side of the luggage was caved in and one wheel was completely ripped off while the other was partially damaged. A cart had to be rented in order to transport the broken suitcase through the airport to the rental car service area where we picked up our car. The infant car seat belonging to a $180 traveling system was damaged and is missing pieces that secure the broken canopy. We were rudely advised by a staff member to file a report as she pointed in the general directional of a line a mile long. We have been advised by the manufacturing company to discontinue the use of this car seat because it is no longer considered safe for the baby to travel in. Should we ever be involved in an accident, the car seat would likely fail to ensure the baby's safety due to the mishandling by American Airline employees. Unfortunately since the flight was ridiculously delayed and my son was ill, we were unable to file the report. My wife has since contacted American Airlines via telephone and intends to write them a formal written complaint.

They delay flights regularly but there’s never any additional information...they just send you a text or email saying your flight is delayed, never tell you why, but they want you at the gate at the regular time...so you sit there for hours with No further communication and the gate agents never come to the gate to let you know what’s going on or what to expect because corporate has gotten stingy with regard to compensating folks even when THEY are to blame for the delay. Two trips in a row, two weeks apart, they’ve done the same thing to us. I appreciate the low fares, but I’ve just about decided I’d rather pay more for good customer service because theirs just sucks.

The bag check process was trouble at both legs. They have lower weight limits than the major carriers and that really should be highlighted better when you book with Allegiant. Also, bag checkin for the flight I was on started at 7:45am. There were only 2 people at the checkin counter and one of them was busy doing something and ignoring the customers. So that was a little annoying.

Trenton and punta gorda airports are small, you have to walk to the plane. I love the small airports, no lines , easy parking!

Cons: Can't blame Allegiant for a noisy child, but there was a child across the aisle from me who shrieked and talked loudly THE WHOLE FLIGHT. I was trying to sleep and was NOT pleased. I like a good fare, but selling a can of Coke on the flight for $2 seems a bit extreme. Glad there are cut-rate airlines out there as an option, but I won't be flying them any more than necessary.

My flight from Chicago was delayed and nothing was done by the pilots to arrive on time. Despite the delay, I managed to arrive on time to my Connecting flight to CPH - only to realize that I was moved to a later flight. Now I have spent 2.300 USD on a poor flight that do NOT bring me to my destination on time. I am a frequent flyer, and will do everything I can Avoiding United going forward. Never United again

My husband has work at 5:30 in the morning as well as my brother who was supposed to pick us up and they are in the navy so being late isn't an option. My brother could no longer pick us up due to the fact that we did t get our luggage until 1 in the morning and he has work in a few hours so we had to wait for a taxi and pay a buttload to get home in Virginia Beach. NOT PLEASED!!

I would understand if the flights were shorter, however we had several-hour delays in a time period from lunch through the middle of the night, and were not offered any sort of voucher or food item. Then my bag got lost (which I understand with the weather issues that caused delays), but it left me in a city with no clothes, very hungry, in an hour past public transportation hours. Which is not THEIR problem, but I would have definitely appreciated some assistance of some sort.

The SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT thing about this.....and any other flight.....is leaving your place or origin and arriving at your destination SAFELY and without incident. This was my first time in Houston and the gates were a bit confusing. I was in B area of airport for my tiny plane. I was told where to go with the wave of her hand and she did not want to be bothered more...got to the gated area and the agents there were way too busy chatting to be bothered. On my return trip home was better because i now knew the layout. I am sure my next trip will be improved.

Cons: I know United has little control over TSA but the checkpoint at the United terminal at MSY was rediculous, stretching past check-in and almost reaching the entrance to other carrier's terminal. So many people missed their flights, I made mine with only a couple minutes to spare.
Pros: The availability of free entertainment on the plane was a positive. The stewardess also was accommodating in giving me both a soda and water.
Cons: We arrived 1 hour early to a line for checking bags that did not move for nearly 1 hour. There were staff behind the desk that were standing around on their phones and meanwhile there were lines longer than I have ever seen just waiting to be helped. The fact that check in etc was all in one place at the MSY is baffling. I paid ahead of time to check my bags but still had to wait in line behind people who had not even checked in for flights that appeared to be stopping in at least two destinations. Once we finally got to the counter, the staff member informed us that they were re-routing our trip. No apology was offered. When I conferred with my travel companion about the best option to re-route, the employee said "Sir I am speaking to you. Not that man." I tried to explain that this man was my travel companion who I needed to travel with because we were in-fact going to the same destination and had planned additional transportation together and that I needed to know if there was room for two people on this flight so that we could proceed onto our route together. After being interrogated about why my companion was not on my reservation, the employee told us that 12 people would not make the flight we were supposed to be on. She then took our bags (we have now been in line to check bags for almost 1.5 hours). Fast-forward to the return flight. We are supposed to depart at 7:15, but were delayed to 8pm, then 8:30, then back to 8pm, then to 8:25, then 8:40, then 9pm between the times of 11am and 8pm. Our trip to the airport that included two trains was significantly more stressful as these projected times were changed because we went from being on time to late to on time all within the span of an hour. The employees on the return flight were helpful in making up for the numerous delays but the confusion that seemed to hover over the company made me feel like nobody cared about whether we reached our destination.

Cons: I bought two tickets two months ago and was not able to sit with my girlfriend on the return trip home. There was no option to select seats upon purchase. We had a great vacation but the end was soured by having to sit apart from each other. This should never happen. If you purchase multiple seats you should automatically be seated with them.

The only thing done to make this time easier was to give all passengers free TV for the duration of the flight. Wow, thanks. I was lucky my layover was 2.5 hours so I just made my connection. Most other connecting passengers were not so lucky. Pay the extra money to take a better airline.

Cons: Due to power outage at the airport, my flight was cancelled. I called to talk with an agent, who were only able to check alternative routes one at a time and it was a total waste of time. I suggested that they call me back after they do some research. They promised to call back in 30 minutes but never did. After more than an hour I called again to talk with a second agent, who simply asked me to contact the third party through which I booked my ticket. The third party called them on my behalf and I was offered two options: 1) to get a full refund; 2) to get a replacement ticket for a flight that's FOUR DAYS after my original flight. What a joke!

Cons: 4 hour delay because frontier either doesn’t contract for or refuses to pay for deicing services in Phoenix. The pilot stated that Sky Harbor doesn’t have deicing services which I personally know to be false because southwest and delta both have deicing services and their is a deicing location at the airport. Instead we waited for the sun to thaw the airplane and further waited for a fuel truck afterwards. Only the first three rows have reclining seats that you pay extra for. I only recommend frontier for SHORT commutes, as the seats really are that uncomfortable with very little padding. NEVER AGAIN!
Cons: After Frontier charged me $50 for a carry-on bag absolutely nothing was good about the flight other than the 1:30 flight time. I couldn't wait to get off of the plane. Frontier charges you for every little thing. It is no wonder the exit row seats were empty too. They charged an extra $47.50 on the flight to Orlando so I opted out for the return flight. No more flights on Frontier for me.

By the time you pay all their fees, your ticket ends up costing the same or a little more than other carriers that already have these fees accounted for. I also didn’t like the fact that this woman supervisor threw her gate agents under the bus and then when confronted about it she denied it in front of 50 people and denied any wrong doing. What a horrible human being let alone a supervisor of people. Not sure what her name was but she works at frontier airlines in New Orleans Airport. The third thing is that Frontier goes very cheap on their airplanes. We had a brand new plane but the seats were hard and they didn’t recline. Tray tables were tiny and no WiFi. Who the hell doesn’t do WiFi ? Cheap airlines that’s who.
Cons: For beginners, my fisrt flight on new years eve got delayed, and then it got canseled... in order to make it to new orleans i had to book a flight with American airline for a much greater price (frontier $50 AA $375) Frontier was only willing to cover another flight with them, which would not leave untill Tuesday (jan 2) and that meant i would miss out on my new years experience and also a lost of $250 on a non refundable reservations, after calling costumer service they were only willing to provide a 200 voucher to fly with Frontiers instead of refunding me the full amout on $375 for the AA ticket i had to buy... my other r flight from New Orleans got delayed 2 times and i got in the plane 4 hours later to a flight where they didnt even provide complimentary drinks like a soda or water, last but not least i am currently waiting for my flight back home and i received an email saying that it got cancelled but when i called costumer care and they said that the status is unconfirmed... but if so i will be loosing a day a work and prob have to book another flight that will probably cost me more money to which i am not certain that i will be compensated for

And then there's the luggage fees . . . I booked this most recent ticket well in advance, and wasn't sure what my luggage needs would be. When I went online to add bags, I learned that adding them post booking, but pre-airport still incurred a significant cost increase - from $25 (at booking) to $38 (a week before check in). To carry one bag and check another, I had to pay nearly $80, which was more than the cost of my actual plane ticket! I'm sorry, Frontier, but I think our relationship is coming to an end . . .

She was unwilling to provide any proactive assistance. In fact she offered us an alternative flight that was scheduled to depart AFTER our scheduled returning flight. Contrasting this with our experience speaking to a Southwest airline representative who was courteous and knowledgeable was unbelievable. I will never fly Frontier again.
Cons: Showed up to the airport in New Orleans to find out my flight was canceled, but had to be told by people from another airline because the Frontier desk was vacant. Received no email, phone call, text or anything to tell me the flight was canceled. Not even one Frontier employee was at the airport to explain the situation. They just left a stack of papers to say the flight was canceled and they weren't offering anymore flights that day. Had to book one on another airline for the next day, so called Frontier to get reimbursed (they said very clearly on the paper that they would reimburse up to $400 in another airline) and spent over two hours on the phone getting passed around from person to person who said they couldn't help me. Still no idea if I'll be getting reimbursed. DO NOT FLY THIS AIRLINE.

Cons: Frontier cancelled return flight without telling me and refusing to do anything other than refund 75$ or give me a flight 4 days later. Frontier refused to help with hotel or other accommodations and I had to rebook flight with delta for 350$ so I could get back home. Also, the employees from Frontier were extremely rude and refused to even look at me or even answer my questions. They said flight was cancelled due to weather reasons, but American Airlines was able to get planes running on only an hour delay. Waited in line for two hours with four other flights with no information other than word of mouth "if we don't wait in line can't guarantee refund." Found out there are no other flights to Nola until Tuesday. Got refund by phone booked new flight for Monday morning on Southwest. Total time at airport today: 9 hours. Saddest part: people are trying to get home for Christmas. Moral of the story: don't be like Frontier airlines. Be prepared.

Cons: First on the way there I was charged $45 per CARRY ON bag. Then on the way home the flight was cancelled with no returning flight for 5 days! No hotel voucher, no compensation of any kind. Flights out the next day were close $1000 for 2 people so we rented a car with 3 complete strangers who were also on the flight and drove through the night for 18 hours (also no compensation towards our car rental or gas). I am a frequent traveler and this was by far the worst travel experience of my life.
Cons: Received email at 3:30pm that 8:15pm flight from New Orleans to Philadelphia was cancelled. Was on the way to the airport already, so didn't see the email until the lady at the desk told me it was cancelled. When I asked why, she said it was "due to weather" because it was snowy up in Philadelphia. Since they were claiming the cancellation was due to weather, they would not help arrange or pay for an alternate flight on another airline, nor cover a hotel during the time stuck there. They told us that the next flight we could take was Friday (it was Monday), which was also the day before Christmas eve. It was not snowy in Philadelphia. The plane we were supposed to be taking was arriving from Philadelphia on time. After 2hrs of being on hold and arguing with Frontier customer services, they finally admitted to my travel partner that the reason for the cancellation was actually because it would put the flight crew that they had over the legal limit of fly time without breaking/sleeping. So they lied to me completely about the reason to begin with, offered no help whatsoever to resolve the problem in a reasonable manner, and eventually admitted the real cause of the cancellation but still refused to pay for another flight. Luckily, one of my other travel companions was headed to Philadelphia via American Airlines at the same time, and had miles they were willing to let us use. Otherwise, it would have cost $2000 for the two of us to get home - or whatever it would cost to stay in a hotel for 4 nights while missing work. Never choosing them again.

The attendant wasnt serving at the time just chatting with other passengers. i was surprised by the added fees and the seating was tight. the staff at the New Orleans terminal was borderline rude when checking bags. My friends bag was about an inch longer than the required size because of the handle and was forced to pay as a carry on. The staff in Philadelphia was more pleasant and helpful when explaining the added cost.

Cons: My suitcase was 1 month old and in perfect condition when I arrived for my flight. When I picked it up two hours later, the main zipper had been mangled past the point of repair in such a way that once it was opened, it was impossible to zip it again. When I brought it to the attention of Frontier staff, they said that they don't offer any compensation for "just zippers." As if a suitcase is usable without a functioning zipper. They handed me a xeroxed slip with a phone number if I had a complaint - turns out it was the wrong number, and after waiting over a half hour without a person answering the phone it was crystal clear that Frontier doesn't care about repeat business.

So once you purchase your ticket, you then have to pay an additional fee to seat down. 2. The staff is unprofessional. Not only does everyone look sloppy, but the staff is comprised of individuals that don't care at all about customers and have been poorly trained. The quality is very low. 3. I was hit and then verbally abused by a gentlemen on the plane, they laughed and did nothing!!!!! 4. They only allow 15 bags on their plane! After 15, they will move your bags to a different plane without telling you. What kind of nonsense is that?!
Cons: Flight was late.
Pros: I liked the one crew member who greeted me as I steeped on the plane. She was very warm. She was African American and blond hair. Very sweet.
Cons: The rest of the crew seemed bitter and grumpy. From the person announcing that it was time to board, to the person taking drink orders. Especially the person taking drink orders. She was pissy when I asked for gin, because she had to go look for it. She was agrivated when I asked if I had to buy the mixer separate, as it was my very first time on frontier. They didn't have gin though it was on the menu, as expensive as the alcohol was that I did buy, the mixer should have come with it. The fact that one has to pay for a carry on is ridiculous! On to of it all the flour was late boarding. I was not impressed with frontier. Cons: Being delayed 30 min at the gate and then another hour in the air !
Cons: Tried to charge me $60 for carry on - on my second flight. Huge line of angry customers. Starting to be known as the worst airline in the history of flying.

Cons: Coming and going my flight was delayed 3 hours ..the front desk crew was absolutely the rudest I've ever seen then throw in the bitchy flight attendants and I'm really not sure how this company stays in business ..the three hour time delay was not a big deal ..the lack of customer service was MAJOR
Cons: No A/C on the plane while waiting to depart from the gate. When we landed, we sat on the plane for 25 minutes waiting for another plane to leave our gate. A passenger seated next to me asked if he could purchase a snack while we waited. The attendant told him that if it was not a medical emergency he was an adult and would survive.
Cons: Didn't make the return flight because our first flight out of Denver didn't happen and we had to cancel the whole trip. Fees we were prepared for- but I will never trust frontier to get me to where I need to go.
