Finally supervisor Jill was able to track it down in Chicago where th y took it off the he plane as my carry on because they had no room l ft from the h limited space. After working very hard to get my bag of o White Plains that evening, supervisor Jill hung out an hour past her shift ended to get it on the last transport to my hotel. The transport blew herself by ft and never showed up or called the o say he wasn't coming back! I got my bag on he next morning just in tim for my event! I also was not credited my frequent flyer miles. Some glitch in the system. Overall I must rate my experience as a one star simply because the pilots got us there safely."

Cons: "Boarding by zones causes passengers to have to stand longer while waiting to board, inconveniences them by having passengers seated in window and middle seats often arrive after the passenger in the aisle seat, and slows down the entire process because passengers settling into the front part of the plane frequently board and stow luggage while those seated in the back queue up behind them. Compared to boarding by row, the entire process is now one lengthy mess."

Cons: "Polaris class - the configuration felt like a military transport. The business class configuration was like a pig sty.... bad bad. Seats facing backward..... but the look was like a crowded economy with flat beds. Looked like a college dorm. I've sworn never to fly United ever. I'll pay $2000 extra to avoid legs where they are flying. Food - flushable. Don't offer vegetarian food if you can't prepare it. I'll carry some Taco Bell. Horrendous. Service excellent, courteous people and prompt attention."

Cons: "The flight got delayed and we were told it was "basically cancelled" so we got on a different flight out for the morning but were told we couldn't get a hotel voucher because we volunteered to get off the flight. Very disappointed, will never fly united again. The flight ended up getting cancelled 5 minutes after we "volunteered" to get a different flight too. Luckily we were able to get onto a different airline who helped us out. United dropped the ball big time."

Cons: "Plane didn't leave until 2.5 hours after expected departure time and we never got an actual reason why. This also made me miss my connecting flight so I had to spend an additional 6 hours in the airport waiting."

Cons: "My flight out of traverse city was cancelled but I rebooked on a different airlines through united to be able to get to my destination in time for an event that day. It was a long process but I made it and really appreciated all the work the agent on the phone did for me. When I arrived at the airport they had my resvervation but no ticket... luckily we worked it out"

Cons: "That a bunch of travelers including myself missed our connecting flight in Chicago after united chamged our arrival gate but didn't have any crew to man the jet way. We sat for 20 mins right in front of our gate. From 1 pm to 10 on my flight to Asheville from Chicago was delayed many many times waiting for our airplane to arrive. Upsetting that we missed our connection due to United's poor planning, they didn't hold our connecting flight for us but we had to wait all night for other flights."

Pros: "Nothing about 9 HOURS in an Airport is great! I walked from where I landed coming from Calgary, to terminal 2 Gate F 17 because that was where the flight to Lexington was to leave from. Then I got notice it was leaving from terminal 1 Gate B 24 so (I'm sure I walked a mile there) to get there. Waited for a number of hours checked my phone and found the departure was back again at terminal 1 Gate F 17!?!?! So I walked another mile back to where I started. At no point was I offered a drink or meal voucher for the 9 hour delay/inconvenience in my flight to Lexington ky. Suffice to say that I will NEVER go on any flight if I have to go back through this airport. I also have horrible knees, which all the walking did not help."
Cons: "I would like to say that as a person with a disability, there is not any support for help getting around. They have plenty of for lack of a better term "golf carts"; but no one utilizing them. Not that I am a world traveler; but this airport could take more than a page from Calgary international in terms of support to those with disabilities. I will NEVER and I do mean NEVER go through something like this again. I expected to be home in Lexington at 5:00pm and did NOT arrive until midnight.??!! This is in my opinion quite unacceptable! What a way to spend a hard earned vacation day! Thanks Luanne Steele"

Pros: "The long haul from Latvia to Oregon is usually a pain but the SAS employees worked to make it as positive as possible. Everything was great from the seats and accommodation to the food and staff."

Cons: "Our plane was United, so I don't think this reflects on Lufthansa, but rather United. The plane entertainment was extremely outdated and there was not enough room in the overhead containers for everyone's carry-ons. This problem made boarding a very long and aggrevating process."

Cons: "Just waiting and no information as to why. At the same time the flight to Stockholm, was delaid, aml all this information came over "our" speaker, even when they started boarding , quite confusing."

Cons: "Our plane departed on time, 6:05 AM. About 6:40 A E turned back towards Boston. There was a problem with the wing. It got repaired. We deplaned. And waited. And waited. Then we needed fuel to be removed. And we waited. And waited. Then we got back on board, got to the runway, and the RIGHT ENGINE didn't start. So they tried to repair it, couldn't (didn't want to fly on that old, broken plane anyway at this point), and we had our flight canceled. All told, I spent 10+ hours at Logan Airport. It was an absolute disaster."

Pros: "Boarding was much more organized with lines marked for each boarding group. The crew was super friendly. Also, I received a whole can of cran-apple juice, which was much nicer than just a small cup. The tv options were also fairly priced for the options available."

I really wish I got both the voucher AND to hold onto my carry-on. And then, leg room on that flight was so bad. I am only 6ft tall and was squished in like a sardine."

Cons: "The worst thing is that they schedule a CRJ-70 on this flight. This would be tolerable if the obvious alternative was a turboprop, as if Montreal were a small town, like Flin Flon. But it is not; it is a large and important city, and it stinks that the demand is so low that airlines must use small aircraft on these routes. Is it because Canadian taxes are so high on airlines that fares in turn must be high and not stimulate demand? I can't think of any other reason connecting cities this size would be on crappy little aircraft rather than on at least an A320/737 family aircraft. The problem is that there is not enough room in the overhead bins to fit rollaboards, even small ones like mine. So they have to "gate check" the bag, which does not always reappear at the gate at the destination. Less bad than the choice of aircraft was the fact that after we pushed back, they couldn't get an engine started, so they cancelled the flight and reaccommodated us on a later flight."

Each time I called, I had to spend minimum of 45/60 minutes on hold while I was repeatedly pushed to new agents. This might be the only airline which would require an international passenger to visit the booking office personally to claim exemptions from date change penalty. ( my mother passed away and I wanted exemption because of bereavement)And to top it, no one knew the location of the booking office..."

Pros: "The food coming from India was a notch above the food going there, perhaps because one is prepared in India where it is more economical to supply. I would definitely take the airline again, because of the value/price."

Cons: "From Lucknow to Delhi, the flight was overbooked. I and my 4 years old was given seats which were already booked for other passengers. I had to stand in the aisle for about 20 minutes with my toddler until the crew sorted all the confusion. Instead of offering some help while waiting with a kid and cabin luggage, the crew wanted me to make sure there is space for them to move around. After arriving at the Delhi airport, I realized that my and my daughter's seats were not together. Seriously??Do I need to request for adjacent seats when travelling with a 4 years old? Isn't that obvious? May be not, for Air India employees... With her + Cabin luggage, they made me walk from international to domestic terminal to get our seat issue sorted. After I lost my patience and temper, I finally got seats together otherwise I was told - Sorry! Flight is full, so we can't do anything. Nothing unusual, Pathetic experience as always. I know I am wasting my time even by writing this review but I have to. Civic sense, customer service and humanity is what we Indian lack badly, so don't have much expectations anyways."

I had no entertainment system or even a working reading light for a 14 and a half hour flight from Delhi to Chicago. Some of the bathrooms were closed because they were "defective". Overall, Air India is going from bad to worse and, unless the guaranteed jobs are taken away, things won't improve."

Cons: "This was a 16 hour flight with no in-flight entertainment! The least you all could have done is provide passengers with a wifi password. Extremely disappointed."

Not sure of why can such a major airline out of India not try to spend back a little money to improve the comfort. 3. The space was also a pain point, when you are travelling such a long leg of flight, a little bit more space is always helpful... I think this airline has the least space among the ones I traveled with. 4. India is a country of amazing culinary experience and the food here was worse than the hostel. THIS PART WAS JUST A SHAME!"

Very Rude when serving and picking up from the food- so called service. Now I understand why they weren't wearing name tags. They didn't want to be called out on there Incredibly Poor service!!"

I contacted them several times to either reset the console or find a new seat for the two of us but they replied with the flight is full and they dont know how to fix the media unit. Side remote wouldnt work either. I think the planes are really old and need update. Since this is the only non stop flight from chicago to Delhi they are able to operate daily, but with another airline in competition it would be tough."

Cons: "Ground staff handling is horrible, specifically the supervisor at the Delhi airport Rajeev Rathore was very callous, despite bringing it to his attention that their are families with young kids (not my kids, I was traveling alone) who need to be taken care of, he simply shrugged it off, on the other hand people with influence would be moved ahead of line at the counter (that is the INDIA way I was told). I will not fly this airline again. The aircraft inside is in state of disrepair, the lights and the entertainment system does not work (luckly my family is traveling by different airline), imagine young kids with screen not working for 15 hours. Overworked staff. I strongly recommend avoiding this airline."
