Cons: Refused to change my flt date after I realized I made a one day mistake inadvertently. I called within 10 minutes afterwards. This was 6 months before the actual flt date. Customer service was snarky, unapologetic, and almost happy that I could not change the date or get any kind of refund.

Pros: Friendly crew provided excellent service. Has live TV for sports. I was able to watch couple EPL soccer games and the NBA playoffs. It also has 3 live camera views from the mounted cameras outside. It was really cool.
Cons: In economy class and in the middle. has no room to even straighten out my legs. Guess they followed American airlines' lead in adding more rows to squeeze in more customers. Too bad

Cons: The woman at the "Groups" check in area on 4/20 Saturday morning had the personality of a cactus needle. She was condescending and sent us on a wild goose chase to pay for our bags. Why didn't she just send us to that area in the first place to take care of the check in process at the same place?

Cons: When purchasing tickets on KAYAK be very careful to notice you often ARE NOT buying the ticket from the airline and any issues you have will be with the reseller and not the airline. KAYAK should be more clear about who the seller is and you should ABSOLUTELY stay away from resellers unless you like to gamble.

Cons: Plane was very cold. We had the last row of seats which meant the flight attendants were making a tremendous amount of noise behind us for the majority of the flight. Crew was not friendly at all. They were more interested in the other crew members than the guests.

Pros: Good service, decent food, nice entertainment options and it's nice not to feel like the airline thinks it's doing you a favor by letting you fly with them.

Pros: The fact that it was indeed a plane that went to europe. that's it.
Cons: The staff (especially ticketing) was rude. And hung up on me when I asked for their name because they knew they were wrong.

Cons: I missed somehow the distribution of headsets, and I never got one (after asking for one). (Un-)fortunaltely there was no movie I really wanted to watch, or classical music for my taste (recitals, chamber music). Anyway, this is not a major problem, just a tiny glitch. The random boarding went surprisingly well, although I'd prefer the more structured version. Until there is bread, butter and cheese, I am fine with the bland food.

Cons: Checking in on-line was not very "user friendly". Our aircraft had to be replaced causing a 2 hour delay, part of which was an ATC sequencing delay. The 50 minute ATC delay couldn't be controlled by LH, but the original equipment replacement was at the bottom of the overall delay. My "A" window seat in economy had significantly reduce foot space due to a metal box installed in the space. The seat was not particularly well designed, but it's economy so you get what you get. The food was average at best.

Pros: What is not to like? I was pleasantly surprised by the Munich airport ground crew and it didn’t stop there! We boarded promptly and efficiently. Once on the plane, service was excellent and the food and drink options were delicious! The entertainment selections were intriguing and engaging. At the end of the flight, we cleared the plane quickly and we’re given adequate directions to customs. It was a great experience.

Cons: Travel in flight was good. Flight was missed due to delay in the airport and they made it clear that this was a bulk rate ticket and any rebooking was almost a favor on their part. That being said with some chatting to the service agent she softened up and started to be more helpful. Wish she could have been more helpful from the start and ended up being rerouted through another city despite a codeshare flight leaving directly to my final destination which would have been the normal switch. Oh well, those are the breaks with a bulk price ticket. Once in flight, service was very good and plenty of open seats, so room to stretch out.

Cons: The flight was scheduled way, way too close for a comfortable transfer since the second leg of the trip was to go overseas having to go through 3 different queues for passport, boarding and security lines. Need more time to pass the long lines and still be able to catch the connecting flight. Not a smooth connection.

Pros: The crew was wonderful, as is always true with both Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines (both of which I traveled on as part of this trip).
Cons: I would highly recommend both Lufthansa and Austrian adjust their entertainment systems. They seem not to weight much the top films with, say 75% Rotten Tomatoes reviews or higher. Even if there were fewer options for cost reasons, I would think they'd still have more watcher enjoyment. Rather than pad the list with the likes of Boss Baby or Going out in Style or even a mediocre 60% offering in the Fast and Furious franchise. Wonderful crew, though, can't say enough about how polite and attentive they are.

Cons: I am only 158cm tall (5 feet 2 inches) and I had no leg room! My knees hit the seat in front of me. The seats were also so narrow that you could not change position at all, so it was very uncomfortable for a 8.5 hour flight. And I weigh less than 45 kg (100lbs). I can't imagine how anyone bigger than me felt. My seat was toward the back of the plane, and it took the crew over an hour to reach us once they started the drink and food carts. One time my row got entirely skipped for the drink cart, even though we were awake. This was a problem because they didn't come by for another 5.5 hours with more water/drinks, and they did not give us water bottles for that time period like Delta does. The food wasn't tasty, but it was eatable. The movie options were great, but that was all I could do on the screen because half of mine did not respond to touch, which meant no games and I could only select movies on the left half of my screen. Weird.

Cons: This was a very tight confection. When selling international connections the layover needs to allow enough time to exit the plane, cross a huge airport and go through passport control. Boarding starts early and this connection was barely enough time.

Cons: I selected my seats online before the flight. It seems my seat assignments were changed (many other customers complained of the same issue). I have siliver status on United and was told that there was no way to be considered for upgrade to different seat. I was told that the list was already full of higher priority customers. Yet at the same time the same employee announced those seats were available for purchase at $200 Euro for others. It seemed in both cases Lufthansa shuffled around passengers out of their selected seats for unknow reasons and also werent honoring frequent flier status programs for changing seats. Furthermore, the in seat entertainment did not work and it took quite a bit of effort including trying to move seats to get the flight attendants to reset the system (they said it would affect other customers who didnt have problems with their entertainment system). 8+hour flight is long flight to not have the system working. eventually the fixed it a couple of hours into the flight.

Pros: We had nothing to complain about and much to be happy about. The seating in economy (seats 36A and 36C and an Airbus 330-300) was generous compared to other airlines we've flown recently (e.g., on a 777 with United on the way over, and that was "Economy PLUS!). The food was much better than the United flight, and really, it was almost too much. I'm home 14 hours after landing and I'm still not hungry. They were also very generous with the drinks and worked to keep us well hydrated with water and juices. The crew was very pleasant and accommodating. Overall, it was a great experience and I will certainly look to Lufthansa first for my next transatlantic flight.
Cons: My one gripe was that it was very hard to hear the audio on the in-flight entertainment system. I even abandoned one movie I really wanted to see because I couldn't follow the dialogue. Also, I discovered late in the flight that the view screen pivoted and this would have helped in enjoying the videos more. Here's an idea for Lufthansa: how about adding "Tips" to somewhere in the Entertainment system to improve your seat, viewing, and other experiences. For instance, I wasn't aware that the head cushion on the seats were adjustable to better support your head. One last thing, on the entertainment system, it appears to be browser based, but sadly lacks a "Back" button equivalent.

Cons: Delays in Nice led to a narrow window for connection. More than ten people were left behind - doors practically closed in our faces - and Lufthansa was wholly unhelpful in rescheduling flights. Lines to speak with agents were absurd and then attendants had to take breaks instead of resolve issues. There were no solutions offered, only poor communication and an unwillingness to accommodate a significant number of customers who were inconvenienced. Finally, a "random inspection" led to a handful of passengers being surveyed by the German local police. Interestingly, a number of us were Hispanic Americans. The whole experience was extremely negative.

Cons: My seat was 32C , me being disabled (wheelchair). My wife seat was 32 A and was DEFECTIVE. It could not be lowered towards the back, actually it has only the fixed position (all the way up). The lady from the seat before my wife's (31A) was lowering her seat ALL THE WAY. my wife protested, the crew tried unsuccessfully to adjust my wife's seat. Finally, instead of considering my condition and relocating us to some other seats (there were several free on this flight), the crew's lead stewardess (Friederich ?- I could not read the label, she kept it under her jacket) decided to upgrade that couple seats by moving them into the Business Class.

Cons: The quality of food was pitiful, not to say gross, in the economy class. I'm comparing Lufthansa to other European airlines and to what Lufthansa used to be. Alcohol was of the most basic quality. Yes, I know, it was economy class, but it's gone down. Entertainment was hardly better. No new movies and the variety of what was available was poor. Lastly, the choice of seats in the tail (of 747-8) was poor judgment on my part. We were being wagged like fleas on the dog's tail. The only good part was that due to the narrowing of the plane we had two seats and no neighbor to jump over, plus extra room between the window seat and the window. The end of highlights. Can't help but compare every airline to Turkish airlines, where even in the economy class they make you feel like royalty. These people know how to do hospitality and make you want to come to their country.

Pros: Due to unforeseen circumstances, I needed assistance with boarding. I attempted to ask the check in agent at the boarding gate and she was extremely rude to me as well as other passengers. The assistant's behavior displayed annoyance and an unwillingness to assist passengers.

Food served in Economy on the international flight FROM US was terrible, and just a little better on all other flights that we took this time. But i noticed that food served on international destinations FROM US on any airline is terrible in general. Space between the seats is limited, very uncomfortable even for a petite woman. Child meals are too sweet, my kids ended up eating my salads, and part of my meal, because they didn't like their food. On the flight from US, kid's meal had 3 chocolate bars on top of other sweet things, which is too much. Give kids fruit bowl instead. I will not order child meal again.

Pros: Why am I getting this email. I am not this person taking this trip..I'm frustrated with this ...I talked to the the airline already numerous times and still I am getting emails from Lufthansa and kayak.

Pros: When we were at the gate to claim our boarding passes, we were surprised to be told that we have been invited to business class!!! My family were so happy at this and truly enjoyed the comfort of service we received.
Cons: When asked about the meal selection, the flight attendant, her name was COLA, told me that she would have to check if my selection was still available. I was surprised she only asked ME and no one else in the row in front or behind me. She did come back to tell me she found one for me but almost everyone else I could see had the same meal.

Pros: We are extremely grateful to Lufthansa and Munich airport administration for organization of the transfer between connected flights wit a short connection time. We have had only 40 minutes transfer time between flights from Budapest and to Washington DC, and started to worry that we may not make it since the boarding was in the opposite part of the waste airport. So, it was a great relief when we saw the airport representative meeting us at the exit from Budapest plane to lead toward the Washington DC flight gate. In 30 minutes we were in our plane to continue flight to the US. Thank you so much!

Had a decent amount of overhead bin space, so, unlike with domestic flights, I didn't have to fight for bin space, or stuff my wheel-less carry-on under my seat because people with bags that should be checked brought 3 carry-on bags and were taking bin space above other people's seats. Crew came by frequently to offer drinks and snacks which was much appreciated.
Cons: Crew seemed overwhelmed and frequently forgot to ask me if I needed anything, despite asking my two seat mates. Headphones on board were dinky and my pair didn't work well. Had to sit in front of a passenger who was constantly hacking very wet-sounding coughs, full of phlegm and not covering her mouth. No one asked her to use a napkin or came by to offer water or suggest she cover her mouth when coughing.

Cons: When a bought my ticket, I had asked in the office about WiFi. They told me that you have WiFi on the plane. I had checked this information on KLM.com and saw the same, that you have WiFi. This was the reason, why a chose KLM! Then I tried to connected on board but I couldn’t! WiFi was not available. Crew told me that they don’t know anything about it! I was disappointed and angry.

Pros: The flight AMS to MEX was smooth, very helpful personnel on board, we enjoyed a bit more space and the seat seemed a bit more comfortable.
Cons: Besides the seat relative comfort, it did not recline much at all, i wondered what the extra money (at least $5 or $600) got us. The food, wine/ beer service was same as regular economy, the boarding took place at same time as economy, no drink before take-off if only sparkling water. And the plane was old generation 747 and the entertainment was same vintage: screen was not very bright and the selection of films was poor. No plug to charge electronics. We were disappointed with KLM when comparing with other airline companies offerings when you book in Premium Economy.

Cons: Flight delayed by one hour which meant I missed by train at Southampton by 10 minutes and subsequent bus connect home. Next bus would have been 2 hours later so 45 minute walk home from train station. Didn't bother with food offering, put off by that supplied from Hannover to Schiphol.

Sitting at the gate there was then suddenly a last call to board the flight and a mad rush for everyone to get on. I appreciate that delays happen but the lack of communication ragardinh altered boarding times didn't make the situation any easier

People seated all the way in the back should be allowed to board first and fill the plane back to front. Comfort - Window seats are too hot, middle aisle seats are too cold 3. Thankfully they do have halal offering. Now if they will even let me choose that I am allergic to seafood. Glad for the chicken. Nothing to boast about.

Pros: I liked the crew, they were professional and tried their best
Cons: The flight was a chartered flight . Air France informed us that due to cabin crew shortage they couldn't operate an air france flight and hence they hired Air Belgium. Whilst the crew were nice , the actual plane was old and creaky. It wasn't up to the standards expected of Air France. They could have done better in getting a plane up to standard. A lot of the passengers were disappointed .

Cons: Initially the flight from Lima was delayed for almost 1:30 and then we lost this connection then Airfrance rebooking to SAS they tell us to take all our luggage’s and check in again it’s was awful and really bad from then walk and spend time we suppose to be quite at home ... the worst was in SAS have ano system and for 1.5 kilos extras you might pay 33€ so after long day and wait, running everywhere with all my staff I see to eat a 11€ menu at the airport with not more explanation from Airfrance .. really bad and worst services..

Pros: Crew was professional and friendly. Plane was clean. And food was served quickly without the hassle of ordering from a menu and paying. And it was delicious. Best airline food I’ve had in a long time. The chocolate dessert was incredible. And a coffee to go with it. Made a three hour flight very pleasant.
Cons: All airlines need to remove a row of seats and give everyone just a bit more legroom.

Media center is outdated, touch screen isn’t working well, felt being punched in head every time when ppl behind you tries to touch the screen!

Pros: I had a choice of movies, games and music that was very appealing. My concerns about not receiving the correct meal was handled professionally and promptly during the flight. I was surprised they couldn't discover I only ordered it for the second leg of my flight.
Cons: Being placed into a window seat at 6' 5". Although I opted for general seating rather than paying for a extra leg room which is out of my budget. Not getting an aisle seat was disturbing at my height. Then there was the guy in front of me not willing to forego putting his seat back on my knees for over half the flight. It would be nice if the seat assignments for general boarding considered the height of the person being assigned.

Cons: This was a really old plane. The screens were really small And was so scratched and messed up that it was almost impossible to use . I was never offered a choice of breakfast before I boarded and I could not get what I wanted. You do not offer enough space fo list all my comments. Very unfair

Pros: the food was surprisingly good; crew very helpful after I was asked to switch seats due to screen malfunction, they helped find space to move my carry-on further front as well and assisted in getting it back after landing

The long wait to board coupled with the lack of sufficient seats for people needing assistance, topped off by cold air from the AC blasting you right in the face. - The plane at boarding time was an oven! Someone didn't want to or forgot to turn the AC on. It tool at least over an hour to make it comfortable. - The entertainment choices are very limited and the screens don't work well.

Cons: Absolutely no leg room and I am regular woman passenger. It was really uncomfortable for the 2 tall young men to my left and right.

Pros: The food was decent for coach, and wine is still included at no charge on trans-Atlantic flights. There were multiple recent movies available on the entertainment system, although the picture and sound quality was lacking.
Cons: Since it was a wide body, there were no overhead vents. And for some reason they chose to heat the cabin to what felt like at least 78 Fahrenheit, in March. Also, the headphone jack was simply missing in one of our seats (rendering the entertainment system useless) and one of the seats in front of us was in permanent recline, cutting in to the already scant leg room.

Pros: Despite a four hour delay the staff was in good spirits and generally pleasant. The entertainment selections were also comprehensive.
Cons: The food choices were very limited (chicken curry or pasta alfredo) neither of which were dairy free.

Pros: The plane, that is. Seats are small in economy. The plane was hot. And we spent an hour on the runway with no air for a mechanical issue. At least the service was nice.

Cons: After we boarded, there was an announcement stating that there was an issue with one of the wings. So we sat for an hour and a half in an extremely warm plane while they fixed the problem.

Cons: One hour delay due to equipment failure. they loaded us and closed the door to hit hit the "on time" mark but then made us sit on the plane for the fix. There is no way the failure was discovered after loading. Usually the seats are ok, this one was the sardine plane, very tight. We were on the bulkhead seat (more room) but the entertainment screens were all yucky.

Pros: Flew London to Luxembourg. The menu had a good selection of (cheap!) food. I ordered a sandwich which was surprisingly delicious. Crew was helpful and attentive. No entertainment, but a moving map was provided.
Cons: No food was provided for free in economy class although we were flying during a typical meal time (11-1:30) American debit card didn't work paying for food, but credit card did

Pros: The airline boarded a little late, but that's typical in Europe. They gave lots of food for the in-flight meal. Several people didn't have their screens work, so they rebooted the system, and then it worked fine. The crew constantly came through with beverages.

Pros: After my last experience with WOW from Baltimore to Amsterdam, which was easily my worst flying experience, British Airways was just the opposite. On time, comfortable seats, polite and very helpful flight attendants, and I did not have to pay 2 Euros just for a glass of water. I will fly British Airways again.

Cons: Because of BA problems on online checking I couldn't get seats reserved as soon as online checkin opened. No one could helped me by phone either. I had to do it at the airport. By then, obviously, only the worst seats were available. Do they care? Obviously no. I'm the one stuck in the worst seats for 8:30h. And that happened both ways in the trip. All they would say is "I'm sorry, I can't help you at this time". As that would improve my flying experience. If the problem was on their side, they should definitely accomodate me.

Pros: The crew was attentive. I was seated by the window and couldn't get out unless I inconvenienced the two people sitting next to me. Whenever I needed water, I just pushed the attendant button and they brought me ice water, without me even asking.
Cons: The seats! OMG. The person in front of me leaned her seat back and I swear her head was on my chest. I couldn't even watch my video monitor until I leaned my seat back. I felt really bad for the guy behind me. He was a bigger sized guy and he didn't have the option of leaning his own seat back.

Pros: My flight connection to Heathrow from Milan was 2 hours late. The staff at British Airways met me at the gate and escorted me to my connecting flight which was boarding at the time. I would not have made the connection if I had not had expess connection service

Pros: The flight itself went smoothly despite some windy conditions, and we were transported in one piece, without incident, from LHR to IAD. The crew members were pleasant in conversation and reasonable in frequency of food service. Once, when I pressed the attendant button, one of them came quickly to ask me what the problem was, and that kind of responsiveness is always a plus, in my opinion. The seats reclined a reasonable amount, not the mere 2-5 cm one sometimes experiences lately.
Cons: The aircraft was aging at least a bit, and it was clear because my seat almost would not return to the upright position and stay there. Several times I tried to return it to upright as the end of the flight neared, and it would easily move but would return to reclined once I leaned back. It was as if I had been the whole time keeping my finger on the button that makes the seat movable. After I'd about given up, the seat finally stayed upright even when I put my weight back on it. My flight attendant misunderstood my drink request, but I let it go because the result was close to what I had asked for. It could have been that there was too much background noise - not sure.

Cons: Ancient plane. Terrible seats. No space or padding. Horrid entertainment system from 15 yrs ago, dysfunctional. Definitely one of my worse experiences flying back and I do this leg 10-15 per year. Boarding was oddly disorganized for a BA flight.

Cons: Boarding process atrocious! First a gate change from A to C gates, requiring a train to transit. Then, after walking down a jetway, we were sent through an emergency exit, down two flights of stairs and herded onto buses, and I mean herded. We (including elderly and moms with infants) alongwith our carry-ons were harshly ordered to squeeze together on a bus until there was literally no room to move. A lengthy bus ride with very disgruntled passengers to plane was followed by another set of stairs up to the cabin door. Finally, our departure was delayed 30 minutes while the bags of 2 passengers who got lost in the airport (probably on a bus or train) were retrieved. Not sure whether the fault lies with Heathrow or British Airways, but the experience was bad enough to avoid both in future.

Cons: we didn't get a snack before landing we only got a drink. we were only given food at the beginning of the flight and it was an 8 hour flight. I was not able to change my flight for this trip had to do it at the counter; but the friend who i was traveling with did have the ability to do so. I went early to the airport in Johannesburg to ensure we could sit together but the workers in terminal A sent me to terminal B (even though they were closed and didn't open until 3) then i went to the ticketing desk and they said they couldn't' help me. so i ask them to call British Airways help desk (since i didn't have a phone internationally) and they said they were closed on the weekend. I wrote the gentleman's name down but i don't have it with me right now. I was finally able to get my seat changed when i checked in at 6pm; lucky there were seats available. I would say the customer service at Johannesburg airport for BA is terrible.

Pros: Crew was great. Really terrific. A+ all around. And that was consistent on all legs of the trip. But they couldn't fix this particular plane.
Cons: Boarding was a zoo. Took forever. Not enough information shared. Everyone lined up for priority, whether had status or not. Once I got on the plane, the seats were AWFUL - the worst I've ever experienced. The pitch between them impossible. When passenger in front put his seat back, was practically in my throat. Couldn't lift the armrests completely, which was ridiculous. Even with an empty seat between myself and row-mate, we were cramped and couldn't get comfortable bcse of arm rests. Absolutely awful. Cannot imagine how much worse it would have been if seat in middle taken.

Cons: The seat rows are too close together. When the woman in front of me reclined her seat she was basically in my lap- not how I wanted to spend 7 hours. I finally had to put my knees against her seat to keep her from reclining. It took a lot of effort to cross/uncross my legs in the limited space. I'm only 5'4" 118lbs - I can't imagine how anyone bigger than me feels when they have to fly in the same situation.

Cons: Food was not great. Snack was a candy bar? No other options in back of the plane. Entertainment cut out and the system was difficult to operate and movie variety was not wonderful.

Pros: We flew on an enormous double-decker Airbus that was equipped with an entertainment system that offered dozens of movies, TV shows, and other entertainment to keep the entire family occupied for the length of the flight. We could also charge our phones and other electronic devices from our seats. The flight attendants were all very nice and the food was fine. The distance between the rows in coach was comfortable, even for a 6' tall person. It was a great flight!
Cons: One of our bags did not make the connecting flight from Rome but it was delivered to our house the next day, so in the end it was fine!

Cons: I paid $ 2,100 for a IAD-LHR-NCE return, on short notice, in high season which I think is very expensive; a family emergency left me with no choice other than a cheaper Turkish Airlines alternative through Isranbul which, given recent events, I thought to be unwise. My main complaint is with economy seating which I find very uncomfortable.

Pros: Flight to DC was good, on time, clean, pleasant crew, etc. And the flight back was mostly good, with exception of the booking and boarding issue.
Cons: My TSA information was included in the flight to DC, but apparently omitted from the system for the return trip. This forced me to go through the non-TSA precheck even though I have paid for and am a known traveler. The flight was also late and making it later still, was the gate having to plead for passengers to check their bags as a way to avert the airline’s overbooking it in the first place.

Pros: The crew was clearly concerned with the covid rules, but just as concerned for passenger's needs. Outstanding performance in difficult circumstances.

Cons: No social distancing and no enforcement of wearing a mask properly. Wearing one on your chin or half of your mouth with your nose hanging out needs to be corrected. Empty seats should be utilized for social distancing regardless of fare. First class and the back half of the planes were practically empty while everyone was in the center. We should have been allowed to spread out.

Cons: Late start due to needing more fuel because of weather at the destination. So after everyone had boarded, at the minute we were supposed to take off, they beg for 2 volunteers to get off the flight to compensate for the weight of the excess fuel. Eventually 2 people b3came annoyed enough to get off and take a $200 voucher (probably for another delayed flight.) so we were late taking off for that. At our destination there were clear sunn6 skies. Extra fuel was needed for that. So I was stuck in a seat the size of a child’s car seat for an extra 40 minutes? And when we could finally get off, my legs had fallen asleep ffrom being too squeezed in for that relatively short flight. When will the airlines focus on the passengers’ safety & comfort and not on excessive profits?

Cons: on a 5+ hour flight, that was diverted back to the originating airport due to a passenger who had extreme DTs from excessive drinking the night before, and made the flight return, American offered NO compensation AND the aircraft was so old, there were NO back seat monitors NOR any means to charge our electrical devices!!!

Pros: Unlike previous AA flights, the process was smooth everywhere it mattered. Attendants and crew were friendly, service was prompt, flight was smooth.
Cons: Attendant was unable to upgrade me to first class due to a system error they couldn't fix. Boarding was unnecessarily delayed because the attendant on staff was not the scheduled attendant and they were scrambling to catch up.

Cons: I am very disappointed with my flight this morning on American Airlines 1533. The crew did an excellent job. The issue, however, is the media AA chose to play at 8:30am. The NBC show that was playing on every overhead TV on the flight featured a woman being sexually assaulted by a man, someone being bludgeoned with a piece a wood until they lay unconscience in a pool of blood, and woman with a gun to her head as she’s being yelled at by multiple men. I was flying with my three year old son. Why on earth is it necessary to show this tv show (or any show that has mature/adult ratings) on a flight that is obviously going to have audiences of all ages? Our flight had a dozen or so children and when you show prime time trash on the overhead TVs, it’s really tough to keep kids from looking forward the entire length of the 2 hour flight so they don’t watch a woman being raped, a man being beaten, or someone being held at gunpoint. I am traveling on behalf of the US government so I didn’t have to pay for my ticket. I did, however, pay for my 3 year old son to accompany me on the flight and I am wholly unsatisfied with the AA team responsible for choosing in-flight ‘entertainment.’ I’m not sure if NBC pays AA to feature their shows or AA has to pay NBC for the pleasure of featuring their trash but either way, what in the world are you guys thinking?

Pros: The crew was helpful and nice, boarding was calm, we got there much earlier than anticipated.
Cons: 1) Biggest complaint is not about the actual flight we were on, but the one we missed, who left the gate Early, even though they knew we had landed and other people from our BCN to JFK flight made it. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING, esp since all other flights to DC out of JFK were cancelled. 2) We were on the last row of the plane so our seats didn’t recline. Annoying at best bc the flight was so short, but would have been nice since we had been traveling for 18 hours by that point (because of the late flight, missed connection, cancelled JFK flights, etc).

Cons: Very inefficient that all bags had to be checked on the jet way and then picked up on the jet way. The picking up on the jet way turned into a cluster F.

Pros: Nice modern plane. Even though the flight was delayed, we ended up boarding earlier than expected and arrived pretty close to our original expected arrival time.
Cons: The crew was nice and everything, but they weren't very good at making announcements on the loudspeaker. You could tell they didn't really know what they were saying or haven't practiced. One lady was trying to make a sales pitch for a new master card and you could tell she was reading and there were long pauses. My sense is that when using the loudspeaker to talk to the entire flight, one should be practiced and know what they're saying and communicate quickly and efficiently. Don't mean to be critical, but it's something that I noticed that could be improved.

Cons: Flight was delayed for hours- weather related, but at other destinations- so this flight had to wait to be rescheduled. Also they weren't able to give any idea when the flight would be boarding- they just kept sending text alerts that it was delayed another half hour and no updates were listed on the screens. When the flight finally left, after I had been waiting for over 5 hours, we were told that they would be flying low, so there would be no beverage service. It would be nice in these situations to simply have bottled water to pass out quickly, or make the announcement prior to boarding so people would be able to bring their own beverages.

Pros: Flight was quick, seamless, on-time, and comfortable. WiFi available. Arrived 10 minutes early. Recommend the shuttle because if you don't get one flight, they'll get you on the next. These days, the shuttle is more dependable than Amtrak.

Cons: Not once but twice we boarded, sat on the plane for an hour and then were asked to deplane due to mechanical issues. It's understandable for one plane to have problems, but absurd to have issues again with the second plane. After all this, our flight was delayed until the early hours of the morning, leaving many passengers to sleep in the airport. It was uncomfortable, disappointing, frustrating, and the crew seemed very unsympathetic.

Cons: From the get go it was an awful experience ... I travel with an emotional support animal as does my husband because we don't do well with flying. I have anxiety to the max about it & my husband gets ulcerative colitis flare ups any time he's stressed out which is usually while we fly and having our dogs with us turkey makes us feel better. When I called to tell them over the phone we would have our emotional support animal I got an attitude as if I hadn't been doing this for the last 4 years. She reiterated to me that we needed in addition to the letterhead from the doctor a form filled out (which we both did ) . Brought to the airport and sit had to sit at the counter like the girl didn't know what she was doing. Fast forward to finally getting to the gate after being stressed and our flight was delayed. This now only made our 50 min layover in DC 20 min by the time we landed. We ran from one gate to the next hoping we wouldn't miss our flight and when we got there they wouldn't let us on the plane saying things like "your dogs are not on this flight" "there is no documentation" "well then you must not have the right paperwork" ... in front of a bunch of people in line, out of breath, and now embarrassed I am forced to take out my folder and give them all the paperwork I had just given to the customer service desk before our first flight. They let everyone on the plane and still made us stand there and finally said "just go but your dogs aren't on this flight". Fast forward AGAIN to sitting on the flight the flight attendant comes over and says "guys where's you carrier the dogs need to be under the seats" .. we peoceeded again to explain for the seventh time that they were emotional support animals ... she then proceeded "no they are not they are not even listed on this flight" at this point I'm EXTREMLY embarrassed because people on the plane are paying attention and drawing attention to us but not only that ... I have been doing this for years .. I ALWAYS have the proper documentation as does my husband and we have never ran into this kind of disappointment and embarrassment from any airline until now. I was so stressed out to begin with and this deffinately didn't help ... nor did it make us wants to fly on American again. I felt pushed aside, embarrassed, and belittled by multiples employees ... all because the first employee clearly made a mistake and didn't document things correctly ... that should have never been put on us .

Cons: Flight from Miami last night was delayed 3.5 hours (which was a 9:30pm departure to 12:30am departure) There was horrible weather that prevented the Flight captain to arrive on time for our flight. (he was en route from NYC to MIA). But instead of providing accommodations, the times changed and then they boarded us on the plane where we proceeded to wait almost an hour on the plane before take off. Arrived at DCA at 3 am....not a goo start to a work week.

Cons: Flight was good until, after arriving 30 minutes early to PWM, our plane had to wait about that much time for our gate to open. Once pulling to the gate we waited another 15 minutes for someone to figure out the walkway and open the door tom the plane-- all with no communication from the crew.

Cons: i decided to purchase a separate direct flight at a different time instead of changing my flight, only to be informed later when i tried to hop on the back end of my original flight, that they had canceled my ticket since i hadnt boarded on the front end of that flight. i had spoken to a customer service rep about my option before purchasing the extra ticket, and she did not mention that this would be an issue. then i had to pay extra to get back on my original flight.

Cons: When the pilot took off at LGA he said "everyone here is trying to take off at the same time" so we'd be delayed by 30 min. Not once was there a mention of any other reason. By the time we got to DC I had JUST missed my connecting flight. It was listed nowhere on the departures screen and I realized I had to take an outdoor bus to the other half of the "c" terminal which was very confusing. I got there and had missed the connecting flight and stand in line for 20 min for someone to tell me that I would be stuck in DC overnight. At this point rain had started pouring and they told me that because my mishap was due to weather they would provide no meal or hotel voucher. Weather was not the issue and I was stuck in DC overnight by myself and not compensated for hotels or meals.

Pros: I appreciated the service and attention. I got to the airport early and was given the option to take the earlier flight to DC
Cons: There is no inflight entertainment
