Pros: There is a nothing to mention that was memorable or comfortable.
Cons: I asked for an upgrade as we are on our honeymoon. The ground staff only wanted to get us on the plane and not try in anyway to recognize us. Our seats were very poor quality, you should immediately replace them! I would have rather stood than sit on the flight. The in flight entertainment is so poor. Absolutely disappointing especially with the head sets not working because of poor ports of connection. The food was absolutely tragic. You should fire your catering company. I expect more from your airline and I was disappointed all the way through. I hope you can provide my wife and I better service and an upgrade when we fly back to Washington DC on Flight AF 0054 from CDG to IAD. I work in the luxury hotel sector, and even the door men and room attendants have more autonomy to wow our guests. Flying AF does not want me to spend any more money with your airline in the future.

Pros: Punctual
Cons: They forced me to ceck my trolley because i had a suit with me!!! And the airplane wasn’t even full. Even worst they allowed some pieces of “hand luggage” that were double the maximum allowed size

Cons: Our request for vegetarian meals got lost after a glight was cancelled.

Cons: I’m not sure that short-hop flights should serve solid food. The quality invariably disappoints. Otherwise, all is good with this flight.

Pros: Great newer plane, great service!

Pros: Well trained, professional, highly efficient flight attendant, and what is more important, in good mood during the whole the flight
Cons: The mobile application Air France didn't know the city or airport Dubai. Often same thing happens on the android application work Sheremetievo airport in Moscow

Pros: Entertainment system failed repeatedly.
Cons: Entertainment system failed repeatedly.

Pros: Crew was nice.
Cons: Food could be better, or at least be provided an option to purchase an upgraded meal. Also, insufficient amount of drinking water provided to passengers.

Cons: Seat was super uncomfortable. Could not fit in my legs at all, could not recline it enough. Maybe sufficient for a one hour flight, definitely not on an intercontinental flight.

Pros: Multiple crew members paid constant helpful attention to my mother (88yrs of age) during boarding, deboarding and throughout the entire flight. Thank you!

Pros: Great seat. Comfortable. Quick boarding.
Cons: Asked flight attendant to wake me for breakfast....forgot. Long wait for bathroom,

Cons: Booked with my partner. Ended up sitting apart. Not good

Pros: Crew members
Cons: Up to 1 hour late and they leaved my baggage in Paris

Cons: Food

Pros: Most of the crew tired especially hard to keep everyone comfortable and safe. The food was absolutely amazing.
Cons: Other members of the crew were snarky to passengers and dismissive of questions from passengers during the early stages of the delay. We were all trapped on board for about 4 or so hours without much communication from the crew or captain which made me very anxious. We arrived 5 hrs late and it put my whole trip in jeopardy. Based on this experience, I eont be inclined to use this airline again for future trip planning. This airline will need to work hard to earn my trust back because i felt physically and emotionally unsafe throughout the experience, many times.

Cons: Air France delayed our JFK to CDG flight. That caused us to miss our connection flight afterwards from CDG to MUC. We got a later flight luckily but one of our bags got lost and is still currently lost!!!

Pros: Over all everything was great, except the bags check in

Pros: Just a routine flight but done with perfect execution.
Cons: Nothing.

Cons: I ordered Asian Vegetarian Meal. But they served me only pasta.

Cons: Engine noise in the cabin is loud.

Pros: Flight crew, pilot, food and entertainment options were great
Cons: Baggage took a while to reach baggage claim but maybe a bit impatient after a long day

Pros: My seat
Cons: Crew

Cons: My luggage was lost in Paris. Now I need to wait still.

Pros: The food was okay and the staff were friendly.
Cons: My seat and several others around me were broken so that they would fall all the way back if we leaned back at all. The entertainment system kept crashing and forgetting what shows everyone on board we’re watching. There were no air vents to control. The games crashed constantly. The usb hubs didn’t work.

Cons: The food was the worst airline food I have ever been served. I could not eat it. This is very disappointing for an airline like AirFrance which usually serves very good meals.

Pros: Nice staff, very professional and helpful.

Pros: Food was Fantastic, Air France the Best on Air.

Pros: Arriving safely.
Cons: We didn't get boarding passes for the second flight at EDI so we had to exit the secure area, get boarding passes, and go through security a second time for the same trip.

Pros: great seat, good food and drink, pleasant staff, efficient boarding and exit.
Cons: no complaints

Pros: Speed, professionalism
Cons: Nothing

Cons: The room between seats is unbearable.

Pros: The cheese and the bread
Cons: The unprofessional staff during boarding and food serving

Cons: no vegeterian sandwiches very disappointed

Pros: Staff was nice
Cons: Very cramped. Poor leg room also with.metal bars under seats that further. Limited foot room. Terrible options in movies. The seats in front of us reclined so far that I couldn’t do anything but stare at the back of the seat anyway.

Pros: Punctual, great food in Premium Economy, friendly crew.
Cons: Took over 75 minutes (after arrival) for baggage to arrive on the carousel. Boarding area did not have well-defined lanes for different groups.

Pros: None
Cons: The airlines didn’t even notify the passengers with the connecting flight. As the arrival was little late, all the passengers have missed their connection flights in Toronto and there was no notification or communication made on the new flight. When I went to the Air France counter in the airport, the staff has gone for the day and trying to get a hold of telephone rep took 2-3 hours and I by the time I found about my new connection, I was already late. Somehow I managed to get to the Terminal 1 and when I spoke to the lady (indian) at the Check-In counter, she has refused me to Check-In because i slipped the line up. The people in the lineup didn’t have any objection and they let me go first for Check-In as I’m already late to my flight. I wante to say something to her, but I’ve controlled my frustration. Luckily the other person in the Check-In counter offered to help me Check-In. Here is my word to the Indian lady staff “F**k You B***h” - learn some people skills.

Pros: Flight was only 50% full. Room to spread out.
Cons: Leg room cramp. Flight arrived late as a result missed connection home.

Pros: The seats are spacious. They give you great amenities such as a toothbrush, etc. The crew was very nice. The food was also superb for airplane food.
Cons: The check in process was terrible at SFO. We all felt like cattle being herded on. It was such a mess. The seats are surprisingly uncomfortable in premium economy. The headrest is not conducive to sleeping.

Pros: On time...comfortable, clean, newish A321...good leg room...friendly crew...pain au chocolat for breakfast

Pros: The crew nice people, boarding was fast and pleasant, the flight was pretty good
Cons: nA

Cons: The crew was not very polite.

Cons: I think I caught a stomach bug on one of the 3 legs of this route. More likely on last 2, i.e. Mumbai to RDU, as I fell sick almost 10-12 hrs after my last flight meal.

Pros: Not much
Cons: Plane late departing allegedly because of cleaning the plane, but why was the cleaning done that late? Also, ground crew remarkably uninformed about what was going on in the plane. Poor communication between plane and ground crew. No explanation from pilot as to continuing reason for delay even after we boarded. Departure time, 1.00 pm, boarded at 1.10, actual departure time 1.45, causing me to almost miss my connection and definitely causing my bags to miss the connection.

Pros: The flight crew was excellent. My husband and I flew economy and I saw the crew keep passengers well fed (several meals and snacks) and were attentive to everyone's needs and all done with a smile. I thought the hot towels for cleansing our hands before meals was a very nice touch!

Pros: The crew was very nice and helpful.
Cons: The food was really poor. The chicken was as dry as it can be. The food taste was poor. I flow 3 weeks ago with KLM and the food was pretty good for flight food. In a French company I expect much more. The entertainment system on the airbus a380 was like an enchant IT system from the past. Very poor reaction time. Very messy and not people oriented at all. Especially after KLM's And Delta experience.

Cons: Very warm and stiffy air on board. Need change light. Very sad neon. Probably Boing style.

Pros: Wheel chair service at LAX is run by the airport. Their priority is to get you to your flight, not to a VIP room regardless of how early you check in.

Pros: The fast boarding.
Cons: The long wait without the air conditioning until our slot in the takeoff list became available.

Pros: All female crew in the cockpit - awesome.
Cons: Non reclining seats

Pros: The crew were pleasant and most served with a smile. When I was at the back to stretch my legs, one of the crew asked if I wanted coffee or tea since I was not able to get some sleep during the long flight.
Cons: I thought the seat seems a bit short but the leg room is ok.

Cons: Would've been better if Air Canada had not downgraded the land to a propeller plane!

Cons: Good food. Best airline I’ve traveled besides Southwest. First international flight and the crew was so nice and professional!

Pros: The flight itself was fine and the crew was excellent. The boarding process was efficient.
Cons: My center seat, which was assigned, put me in an extremely uncomfortable position physically for the entire 14 hour flight. My two seatmates extended physically into my space, and minimal legroom meant by knees were pressed against the seat in front. I was not happy at the lack of seat choice.

Cons: Embarked late. Sat on runway for 30 minutes waiting to disembark. Missed ride to Eugene Or. Not happy.

Cons: We had a two hour delay. First the aircraft was late. Then it needed repair and another aircraft had to be brought up. After a 10 flight from Frankfurt and a 3 hour layover in Vancouver, I was not a happy camper!

Pros: Crew was helpful in answering questions
Cons: The only food served was a pay option only.

Pros: 90 minutes
Cons: 90 minutes

Pros: Flight was mercifully short.
Cons: Air Canada canceled other short haul flights and jammed the overflow passengers onto our flight which resulted in our flight being late and overcrowded. Passengers that came from the canceled flight complained that this wasn't the first time Air Canada had done this.

Pros: Airfare is very reasonable. Food on the planes are average. Service is average.
Cons: Flight was delayed from Vancouver to Portland

Pros: A short flight on a small plane.Smooth flight, smooth, smooth landing. Although the flight was delayed, the passengers were kept informed as to where the plane was and the expected time of departure.

Pros: The leg room in basic economy was great -- especially compared to other airlines. In seat entertainment was free.
Cons: No complimentary snack on a five-hour flight. Food was available for fee. Entertainment movie/TV programming was limited (not live television).

Pros: 0
Cons: Because of the delayed flight out of Lisbon I missed this flight and was rerouted to Vancouver. I had to go through customs and re enter the airport going through security to board the Vancouver fligh. Slept in a hotel for four hours, paid for by Air Canada, went back to the airport through security again and flew to Portland.

Cons: Air Canada offers this flight DAILY. Yet somehow the boarding was the most excruciating tedious I’ve had to endure. Passengers who needed assistance boarding seemed to have to deal with haphazard organisation, and the fact that they seemed surprised so many people brought carry-on luggage that the bins filled up is laughable. Changed my return flight to Alaska Air.

Cons: I did not make this flight. Instead was re-routed and spent 12 hours overnight in the Vancouver airport before getting to fly to Portland, without my luggage that was left behind in Toronto.

Cons: I was held back for 'random' security check. Security lost my boarding pass and didn't care. Only found it because my friend asked them to check a table where they had put it. They didn't apologize for any inconvenience and instead security chief kept asking more questions. Truly atrocious customer service.

Pros: Pleasant crew
Cons: ONE bathroom for all of economy Had to buy even smallest snacks Poor overhead bin space

Cons: No luggage

Cons: There was one announcement about preboarding and none after that -- only one announcement about delay of 20 minutes but we were more than an Hour late boarding. That was 1st impression. Then, when we got on the plane, it was very old so made me worry about safety.

Cons: The entertainment system was broken on this flight.

Pros: Good price for flight ticket
Cons: Food

Cons: Customs detained my girlfriend and I for an hour causing us to supposedly miss our flight. We spoke to a Air Canada Rep and they told us our flight had left and they couldn't hold it for us. That is fine but they said they would not provide us with a hotel for missing this. Ok that is there policy but we ran to the terminal E95, for our Flight to Portland which had actually had not left and they were actually holding it for another person. So Air Canada lied about our flight leaving and that there was not another one till the next day. Overall I will never go to this airport nor will I use Air Canada ever again.

Cons: The flight attendants were jerks. Why can't I listen to my headphones before takeoff? Because of the safety speech? Are deaf people not allowed to fly? I was asked to take my headphones off during the safety speech, which I did. I put them back on after the speech and was yelled at. The lady in front of me had a dog. The lady across from me was talking on her cell phone. And the kids behind me were playing games on their iPad with no headphones and the sound on. No one said anything to them. Screw this airline.

Cons: This Air Canada flight was operated by Lufthansa and was cancelled due to the strike. So, this means that I am still in Germany which is not the worst place in the world to be stuck, especially because my parents live here. So a few day longer are not a problem for me, but if it takes a week, it is not good because I am supposed to be at work and I am using up vacation I had planned to spent with my family.

Pros: Nice friendly staff in plane, and experienced staff at airport (unlike in Okinawa, Tokyo and Osaka). Nice to be able to recheck bags and clear US customs in Vancouver, BC thanks to the US section of the terminal, so that we didn't have to do that upon arrival in Portland.

Pros: It got me home.
Cons: One of the attendants yelled at anyone who needed to use the bathroom whenever the seatbelt sign was on. Understandable when the plane was actually experiencing turbulence but most of the time it was a smooth flight. Know there are regulations concerning this but I feel she could have been a bit nicer in her tone. Thankfully there was an empty seat just outside the toilet so that I could sit but anyone who arrived after me was told to return to their seat. When nature calls, sometimes it's impossible to walk very far.

Pros: Staff was courteous and tried to get people with large luggage to check it.
Cons: It took forever to load as people carried on huge bags that wouldn't fit in the overhead bins or under the seats. It took an extremely long time to get through American customs, and they were very rude, not caring if people missed connecting flights. They wouldn't add workers. Some almost missed the flight. P

Cons: I needed to sleep ( it was 1:00 am in the city I originated from) and in the smaller plane the seats barely reclined and it was hard to get comfortable, let alone sleep.

Pros: I was last on the plane. The crew was welcoming.
Cons: Not very clean bathroom. Not unusual for airplanes.

Cons: To small of plane.

Cons: My girlfriend and I booked our flights about 10 months in advance and had selected seats next to each other for all of our Air Canada Flights. Somehow all of these seats were changed without an update to us. We did not sit together at all on any of our flights and were put in middle seats, which is not what we originally requested. We were both very upset with this as some of these were long flights.

Cons: My flight from Milan was 1 1/2 hr late but before landing it was announced that our seats on the connecting flight was "protected". I got to my gate 40 min. before takeoff (it was 15 min. delayed). Upon boarding I was told my seat was given away. They assumed I would miss my flight. I had to wait another 4 hr. to board a flight to Vancouver BC leaving 11pm. I had to go to a hotel at 2 am and take a 8:50 am flight to PDX. Before boarding I was again stopped because my ticket didn't have the proper security stamp. The agent there was extremely rude and condescending. This was a terrible experience!

Pros: Price and crew were good. comfortable enough.
Cons: No decent place to eat in the airport and no food options on the flight. Also it was an hour delayed.

Pros: Nothing in particular. We got here safely. That's good.
Cons: 1 bathroom for long flight. Ridiculous. Very tight and uncomfortable seats. No pillows, blankets, food and drink service only 1 time in long flight and all food is purchased. Basically, an exercise in human torture for 5+ hours. Should not be permissible to treat people this way.

Pros: Staff VERY professional. Very easy to use food voucher.
Cons: Mechanical Issues. Made to wait 4 hours for alternative plane.

Pros: I'm glad Air Canada took appropriate precautions to ensure our safety, however...
Cons: On the flight from Portland to Vancouver, someone was allowed to board the plane and then leave, with no explanation, no accompaniment, and no way of contacting him. Consequently, our flight was delayed 3 hours while police and bomb squads checked the plane and all the baggage. Why was this person allowed to disembark in the first place? This occurred during boarding, so there should have been attendants there to stop him or at least ask him where he was going. And once he did disembark, why was no one able to track where he went? Seems like an odd security breach and, ultimately, a huge inconvenience for the passengers who remained on the plane.

Pros: - On-time departure, attentive staff and good selection of entertainment to pass 5 hours of travel time - Love the pre-boarding for families with kids - Good overheard space for carry-on bags - flight was not way overbooked and no one had to scramble for space
Cons: - Narrow leg room - relaxing in the economy class was challenging (but not surprising experience)

Pros: Wow these guys balance MANY flight changes and seat changes with professional and humor that all the passengers appreciated

Pros: Air Canada worked hard to get people where they needed to be but security was somewhat difficult although understandable

Pros: The only thing I liked is the fact that I arrived safely at my destination.
Cons: I did not like the three house delay in Toronto. And, of course, we were always told, it will be just a few more minutes each time so for three hours we were stuck, milling around @ the gate.....well actually between two gates because they kept changing gates.......waiting for the flight. If I'd know it was going to be 3 hours, I would have maybe gotten some food and wandered away to find a place that had a spot to sit. Instead, standing on one foot and then the other, hungry for three house while Air Canada got their #@%*# together and found a plane that actually functioned appropriately.

Cons: The final leg of our travel boarded over 2 hours late. No compensation given for that. Two planes were declared not fly worthy-low confidence. While not Air Canada's responsibility, Toronto's Pearson Airport was awful. We went through many airports on our travels and this stood out as the worst. Constant security checks that seemed unnecessary. Poor line management. Not enough security/immigration kiosks. Very expensive food. During our 2+hour delay for boarding, we observed constant gate changes for other flights. Flight organization seems poor.

Pros: That this flight had entertain system that was on broad. Did not have to down load or use your horrible app.
Cons: You should provide food or snacks for flights over 2hours with no charge. We were only offered a drink. Some people do not carry credit cards to purchase items.

Pros: Seats were comfortable and I was able to sleep for most of the flight.
Cons: My flight was delayed several times and the gate was also changed. I recognize that safety is important, but passengers should be offered snacks when their flight is delayed for several hours.

Cons: The pressurization of the cabin was very uncomfortable for me. I fly a lot and only notice this like one in 30 flights. I was very swollen after and felt the pressure during the flight.

Cons: No viewing screens and fewer selections of movies from air canada app compared with selection from vancouver to tokyo. I don't know why our return trip was so different.

Pros: Punctuality
Cons: Not even a pretzel with a soft drink or coffee. Also coffee was lukewarm.

Pros: Seats were comfortable and could recline more than other planes. Had entertainment in the headrests.

Pros: Again, I felt we had excellent service. It was a small plane and one steward, and she did everything!

Pros: Short, quick and convenient

Pros: It was alright, just not much entertainment on a small plane
Cons: No enough things to entertain me and the seats were somewhat uncomfortable

Pros: I got home.
Cons: Typical noisy turbo prop plane. It was an hour late.

Pros: Movies
Cons: Cleaner. On time

Cons: Better snacks ...maybe nuts

Pros: Staff was very nice
Cons: Flight delayed, again. Blankets smelled molding or worse.

Cons: The boarding process

Cons: The seats are so squashed in in economy it was really hard to get comfortable. The inflight entertaining on the screens was rubbish. The app didn’t work with the movies. Some of he crew were lovely, and some were just ok.

Pros: Free entertainment options
Cons: 4 hour flights should get a little more free food than crackers.

Pros: The crew was great and the landing into Denver was very smooth.

Cons: I miss the good old days where Captain X tells us what’s seeable out the window!

Pros: Not much
Cons: Uncomfortable seats, no leg room, no outlets for charging, only two restrooms for economy and no aboard carry on. It was overall very uncomfortable and unenjoyable. Alaska is much better

Pros: Great attitude and a genuine love of their job made pass / crew interactions very pleasant

Pros: Quick direct service with no connections.
Cons: Seated in 8C on 737-900. Could not strrtch legs as blocked door to toilet in front of my seat. Had one passenger exit the toilet and fall in my lap.

Cons: Getting to San Francisco flight was canceled, make a line for 3.30 hours to let us know what they were going to do with us, they give the place to go at 3 a.m with not directions were to take a bus , later someone come and told us the bus stop running at that time and I have to go upstairs to take a taxi, I was alone and not use to be alone at that time never in my live I had to pretend I was afraid. Of course the hotel only take you until 12pm so I spend so many hours in the airport waiting for re ticketing they told us to be at 6pm we wait and I got my ticket leaving at 9.45pm but the crew come one hour and half late. From Panama to Lima flight was late . I had a conference very important to be Saturday morning, I lost my investment and relationships with the company I was going to start a business there excuse was they couldn’t relay on my punctuality, honestly. I got there more than a day and half LATE. If you ask me how was my trip I will tell you horrible and I can’t recommend anybody, this company doesn’t have any personality at all

Pros: This will make a good story about how bad flying had gotten and United is really a much worse airline than I remember. I think their CEO is incompetent and I can only hope that they drag me off the plane to get some sort of compensation.
Cons: Not arriving at my destination

Pros: Easy boarding
Cons: Everything but the easy boarding. Horrible comfort level to the point of wishing I could have hurled myself out of the plane.

Pros: airplane was good
Cons: nothing

Pros: Not much.
Cons: The flight was delayed. The in flight entertainment didn't work on my iPad. Apparently I needed the United app. It would've been nice to have been notified of that before I got on the plane.

Pros: Flight left on time and landed early
Cons: A window alarm went off loudly for about 20 minutes during the flight. The crew seemed to be aware of it but made no attempts to stop it or to inform passengers what was going on.

Pros: The WiFi didn’t work although it would charge you’re credit card.

Cons: Chicago O'Hare was a nightmare. Hugely crowded, flights kept getting moved to different gates so hundreds of people were milling around, or just standing around. Not enough room to line up to board. I will try to remember not to go through there again on a Friday evening. Disappointing also to have 4-hr flight without movie or entertainment.

Cons: United didn’t allow on-line check-in, wasting my time and theirs, forcing Basic Economy passengers to be checked in by a person. Won’t be flying United again.

Pros: the crew was great. there were several high maintenance travelers on this flight. they handled them the best they could.
Cons: so uncomfortable. my knees hit the seat in front of me (i am of average height). seat would not recline.

Pros: Comfortable flight. Got an economy plus seat at Silver level. Middle seat was empty. New interior in airplane with power outlets and mood lighting in cabin. Free movies available on network. For a short flight of this duration, a very comfortable atmosphere.
Cons: Boarding process was chaotic. Gate staff didn't seem to be announcing boarding groups. I like how American has a promotion with T-Mobile for 1 hour of free wifi internet, which United doesn't.

Pros: I finally got to Portland.
Cons: The plane did not arrive at gate, they gave us poor/invalid excuses as to why there was no plane. We moved from gate 73A to gate 82, in another terminal back to gate 73A for no explainable reason. Finally we left after having to checked in now at gate 73.....what a mess and over 2hrs late!

Pros: Great to get a low faire on a short notice.
Cons: Flight attendant was very stand offish and never smiled. Towards the end of the flight when I tried to give her an empty water bottle, she rudely said "No more trash." Not very friendly at all.

Cons: The gate changed, the United App did not update and we did not look at the flight status board upon arrival as we were relying on the United App. Ran all the way to the 'old' gate (90) only to realize b/c we heard something over the loudspeaker about a flight to Portland at Gate 60 (we had just landed from IAD right near that gate). Looked at the board and realized the gate had changed, had to run all the way back to the other gate and it wasn't boarding yet. When I mentioned all this to the gate agent, she told me i should have checked the board & refreshed my app...i refreshed my App 6 times and it still didn't update - i'm not an idiot but she made me feel like one. She had no sympathy and was not nice or helpful. When we got on the flight, realized it was empty and we were sitting WAY in the back when there were plenty of open seats, so we moved up thank God!

Pros: Crew was very friendly
Cons: Seats even smaller than I thought they could even go. Nickel and dime for everything, flight was delayed and just overall very mediocre.

Cons: 1. The flights within the US and Canada was delayed. 2. The United Airline staff in San Francisco told me to pick up my luggage when I get to Seattle despite of the fact that my final destination was Vancouver. I questioned the staff about this ata this seemed odd, but he insisted that I pick up my luggage in Seattle. Upon arrival to Seattle I went to the baggage claim area to find out that my luggage was already put through to the connecting airline to Vancouver. This resulted in me having to go through a long line of passengers to do all of the security checks again to enter the international airport gates. This almost resulted in me missing my connecting flight to Vancouver. The only saving grace was that the flight was delayed by another hour. 3. Changes made on my connecting flights were only given to me during my check in at Auckland. My previous booking was Auckland -San Francisco - Portland - Vancouver. The boarding pass I was given in Auckland omitted Portland and was changed to Seattle. I was never informed about this by United Airlines. 4. United Airlines website NOT allowing me to log in using my e-mail.

Cons: I hate the apps for entertainment- it's so chintzy in comparison to Delta that has the nice the on the back of the chairs. Seats so cramped

Pros: The crew at the gate and on the plane were very pleasant.
Cons: The flight was greatly delayed making for an extraordinarily long travel day. It seems that almost every time I travel on United, there are delays and problems.

Pros: We arrived safely at PDX
Cons: We left 3 hrs late, arrived very late at night, I did not get home until 2 a.m. There was no apology. There were no plugs for computers in the back of the plane and I got stuck between a fat person to my left and a fat person in front of me who leaned their seat back as far as possible. It was hideous.

Pros: Free WiFi with Free Entertainment movies.
Cons: Delayed flight, had to wait on the airplane that had a late departure out of NYC

Pros: N/A due to them rerouting my itinerary.
Cons: N/A due to them rerouting my itinerary.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Never got to do this flight because of the previous flight which is reviewed below: My seat was broken and wouldn't stay in upright position. This really pissed off the passenger behind me. Crew kept telling me to put my seat upright, I kept having to tell them the seat was broken. Old airplane with no in-seat entertainment. they advertise on the seat that you can watch all their entertainment content for free, but then you have to pay for wifi to watch so it's not free then, is it? Every movie or show requires "additional software" so you have to purchase internet to do the download. This is an 11 hour flight, I would have appreciated being able to watch a movie or something without forking out $30. Flight was delayed, so we were low on time to make our connection. I asked a flight attendant twice if we could get help deplaning early or at least get moved up some rows since we were in the very back of a 747 (there were plenty of vacant seats). They said no, and told us that customs would only take a minute and that the other united flight knew we'd be coming and would wait. I don't usually fly united; other airlines typically will actively take steps to help (like moving connecting passengers to the front shortly before landing) if they are the cause of the delay. Customs had only one agent working and we were pretty much last in line so that process took over an hour. Just moving us 10 rows forward before landing would have made all the difference because our connecting flight closed its doors and taxied for takeoff less than 5 minutes before we arrived. They had some united employees guiding and directing a couple of passengers that were going to be late for a connection to LAX, but no help for those of us connecting to portland. Customer service didn't even offer a verbal apology. Last time I flew with united, I also had a terrible experience for different reasons. I did not intend to fly united for this flight, but I purchased tickets through and for Lufthansa, and this flight was regrettably operated by united. Another thing I don't like - the food was horrendous. It was a breakfast sandwich that was advertised as "hot and fresh" on the packaging but was served straight from the refrigerator. I was in the middle seats with one person to my left and two people to my right. Everyone took only one bite and threw away the rest. Just don't bother serving the food if it's going to be that bad, it's very wasteful. I always appreciate a hot towelette after a long overnight flight. United offered no such thing which was a first for me. Regarding boarding: they called us all up to line up in boarding groups and then we had to stand in line for 65 minutes. I have a bad back and had to sit on the carpet to avoid being last in line and not having space for my carry on bag. Would have been nicer if they would have just let us sit in the chairs at the gate in comfort until they were ready to board.

Pros: The older planes of United Airlines could use some remodeling. The entertainment system with controls in the middle of the arm rest where the elbow rests is such a bad idea, didn't even bother with this crappy unintuitive system. It was annoying and flashy with bright advertisements or something popping up on a night time flight just sooooooo annoying, turning it off was not intuitive and had to ask the flight attendants how to turn it off during their very busy work of handing out packages with five miniature pretzels and drinks to the passengers, was happy to get a whole cab of juice to myself though.

Pros: The crew was very nice and polite. Service was prompt and excellent
Cons: Excessively long layovers. I came home with 3 broken ribs and had to endure a 11 hour layover in Japan and another 6 hour layover in San Francisco.

Pros: We didn't die in a fiery explosion. The flight attendants were nice too
Cons: I know that I was in economy, but JEEZ! Everything was super cramped. I don't take up much room, but you couldn't do anything. I had a larger dude partway into my seat, my seat barely leaned back (and would slowly creep it's way to upright anyway), and of course I had no leg room at all, not that I was expecting that. Also, a six hour flight with just a snack offered is pretty absurd. I know cutting corners saves money, but I'm still paying money and it would be nice to have a slightly more pleasant experience. This was easily one of my worst flight experiences

Pros: The crew and flight staff were friendly and professional.
Cons: The seats are very narrow and crowded and the seat backs do not go back far enough to provide any additional comfort. The 1.5 hr flight only had peanuts or pretzels for a snack

Pros: Boarding was very organized
Cons: There were 2 flight attendants. Male and female. The female flight attendant was rude and appeared in a bad mood. And did not offer food to me. I hadnt eaten at all. I was in the very last row. And when the food cart approached she just wheeled right past without asking me. Then we i tried to get her attention she looked annoyed and ignored me. So i just ate ice cubes. It was unacceptable. I could hear her bickering at the other flight attendants in the back. It was so unprofessional.

Cons: Upon approach we were suddenly deverted to Seattle. I had a few issues. Number one you could not hear the pilot so that made it worse. The lack of communication was horrible. I have been on flights when there has been clarity given a change in plans but this was bad. We sat at the gate for an hour and a half, again no real communication, the fligh attendant t hope was joking when he said there was a half a bottle left for the whole plane...much later we were served water. Announcements were made but no clarity. We were told to collect baggage at number 2. Get a voucher for a hotel. After deplann9ng about 25 of us stood in line at the customer service desk where there were two staff working slowly. Then after an hour they announced we were in the wrong place, couldn't that have been explained earlier? Once we made our way out of the terminal to the ticket count the line was all the way down the hall. still with little info we waited. We landed at the alternate airport at 945, at 130am I had my vouchers, the food not useful until the following day, the hotels were full, no one picked up the phone for the shuttle bus to the hotels. I finally elected to sleep at the airport on a bench. We had actually all been reassigned a flight on our same plane. So I am not sure why we had to wait in line all that time. Our bags were not removed from the plane an irritated baggage claim attendant told me. It was a mess. The flight the next morning was fine, short, without problems for me. united needs to work on its communications. It would have been helpful to have someone out side running the line giving out info. And at customer service they should have been paying attention to their line. Would have been helpful.

Pros: This was the first flight in approximately 10 years where everything worked as it was supposed to. The flight was on time. Our crew were pleasant, friendly, and warm - this has been the missing element for a long time. The new plane was comfortable.
Cons: I still could not get my PC to work with in-flight entertainment.

Pros: Economy+ seats were very nice. Gates were close.
Cons: Having content viewable on your app is fine, but finding out last minute that for some reason your device doesn't work with the system is annoying. There didn't seem to be any food or drink service, which was odd.

Pros: I appreciated that we boarded quickly. Again the crew was great!
Cons: We were assigned seats that didn't recline, and we'd been travelling since 4:30am Pacific time. Flight was full so we were stuck. Our electrical outlet was smashed and unusable to charge my phone, which I needed for sending work emails and contacting clients. I was surprised that there was no free content on the tvs. I actually just wanted to see the map and it required I pay.

Pros: The crews everyone was caring, respectful, and professional. I don't see anything to improve, they are that good, including the pilots!
Cons: I can't think of anything really.

Pros: The flight attendants were all super kind.
Cons: My flight was delayed by three hours, but I understand that's not United's flight. Although, the airplane wasn't cleaned sufficiently. The tray next to me had crust on it from a previous passenger...it was gross.

Pros: United always is superior to other Airlines once up in the air
Cons: We flew standby and United had problems with their first flight to Portand from San Francisco causing an overbooking situation. This the second time this year I have experienced this problem We literally were the last two people on the flight and it was very stressful as were meeting other family members to drive up to Seattle.

Cons: I am 6' 5" and my wife is 6' and we are both thin. She had the middle seat and I had the window. There was not enough leg room and we were squeezed in shoulder to shoulder. This was for the flight from San Francisco to Portland.

Cons: Our flight was delayed 3 hrs due to lack of maintenance of the plane and we had to all get off to wait for the next one. It was also overbooked.

Pros: We left on time and got in 40 min early, direct flight, crew was friendly
Cons: Seats were smaller than usual flights, no window seats left when I checked in, under seat leg area small, the TV was repetitive and no music options, if there were plugins on the flught!, they were hard to find. No free WiFi for T-Mobile in flight texting, standing in line while waiting to board after walking all day...the boarding took ages and people kept cutting (first class, disabled?)...it'd be nice if the crew acknowledged why people were taken out of order like "okay, first class you're all set!" Or "thank you for your service" so we knew it wasn't 20 people randomly jumping the line.
