Pros: Everything JetBlue has to offer.
Cons: Offer water between snack time would be great.
Pros: Everything JetBlue has to offer.
Cons: Offer water between snack time would be great.
Cons: The plane was full, there were barely any empty seats. Everything inside the plane was old. The bathrooms were gross. The TV didn't work for most of the flight, and when it did start working you couldn't choose movies or shows to start from the beginning.
Cons: This flight was for my wife and I's honeymoon and it was a miserable experience. The flight was delayed by several hours with no specific expectation of when it would actually leave. We were just continually told “soon”, “shortly”, “in an hour” all night long. If we were given a specific time then we could have planned on at least trying to sleep for a little while. It wouldn’t have been near the same inconvenience if it was during the day except it was during night when no stores were open to buy food or a pillow to try and sleep. The airline wasn’t able to get any pillows or blankets for us. Luckily we still made it on our cruise before it left but with no sleep it left us pretty miserable trying to recuperate from that night.
Cons: Snacks are terrible now. Cheez Its & cookies? C’mon. I’m not 5.
Pros: I was seating on 9A and couldn’t even put my seat back to rest. The worst flight I’ve been to.
Cons: The flight attendants were very rude and there were several delays. So disappointed with JetBlue
Pros: Crew was so great
Cons: Flight was 3 hours late; TV in my seat did not work (and flashed making sleep more difficult); they did not have food options typical of longer flights (only snack boxes for sale)
Pros: I really like how her blue allies passengers to get their own beverages in the rear of plane throughout the flight. Simple but great.
Cons: I don’t like how they have to put on the cabin lights when everyone. Is sleeping jus Thor food drink service.
Cons: Not having the long credit card message on the speaker, headphones to watch TV and better snacks.
Pros: Boarding was done very smoothly. Great service.
Cons: The in seat touch screen stopped working.
Cons: Flight was late, crowded, and crew was awful. I was packed against the window like a sardine. Crew was really loud (one guy was), and trying to get their attention was difficult, as they were in deep conversation with each other during the entire flight.
Pros: Lots of room between the seats.
Pros: No turbulence
Cons: It was all good
Pros: The courtesy of the staff members from jet blue
Pros: I flew from PWM to JFK,then JFK to RDU. Both flights left on time, and landed early, which was good for me,as I had less than an hour to make the connecting flight to RDU. Tke gate I arrived at was only 2 gates from the departure gate. I LOVE JetBlue, and was not disappointed this time either!
Cons: The flight attendant on the plane @ PWM never even looked up as I was wheeled to the door of the plane, even when I was struggling to get out of the w/c.The attendant with me had to try to assist me while holding on to the chair. I was not impressed. Other than that, the service was good.
Pros: Crew attitude was totally professional
Cons: 2 1/2 hour delay. Old fleet’s falling apart.
Pros: There was enough leg room for a big guy like me so that was nice.
Cons: The pilot was late arriving so we had to wait for him to show up then because we were late our flight got delayed again because of a lightning storm near the airport. Other planes who were scheduled to leave after us got to leave earlier than us so I don't know what happened there. After I was finally on the plane my headphone jack would not work. I know it's not my headphones because I had just used it before boarding for both my Nintendo and computer. Also, the buttons for the TV are on the armrest and if you try to get comfortable you'll change the channel. When the flight attendant came around she just propped a bunch of stuff in front of us and since it was dark I had no idea what I was looking at, ended up getting a very crappy bag of chips. Overall was a terrible experience flying JetBlue.
Pros: The pilot was very friendly and the delays were weather induced, so it was appreciated that the pilot/crew got us off the ground before having to cancel.
Cons: Announcements could have been a bit more frequent to update passengers on the status (even if the status had not changed much), waters and/or drinks were passed out infrequently for how long we sat in the plane/on the runway.
Pros: The ease of boarding by groups, the check in and baggage check in
Cons: The delay, no explanation why, the seat cushion was worn were as the seat was very uncomfortable after a while. A 5 or 51/2 hour trip only 1 refreshment was offer and only 2 complimentary drinks.
Pros: The onboard entertainment was pretty good, but it didn’t work for the first 30 min of the flight and you HAVE to have regular headphones, so Bluetooth and Apple won’t work, but you can buy them for $5. And there was good leg room
Cons: Flight was delayed over 30 min and they never said a word or made an announcement, they made me check my bag stating it wouldn’t fit/ not enough room, then when I told the guy there were fragile items in it he proceeded to throw it down the chute, even the woman behind me commented how awful it was. A flight attendant actually got upset that I got up to use the restroom and when I came back, she was at my row, and REFUSED to move one more row up so I could get in my seat. She made me go all the way back to the back and wait for her to bring her cart back, then was pissy about bringing me a drink. It then took her another 30 min to bring me the coke. also, what the heck with the remotes on the arm of the chair?? Serious design flaw. The man sleeping next to me kept turning mine up and changing my channel and I couldn’t get to it to fix it. Seriously it was the worst 4.5 hour flight I have ever been on.
Pros: Much better legroom , leather seats. Much faster, more orderly boarding. (the plane wasn't ready until 10 minutes before departure- Jet Blue got everyone on in 10 minutes for an ontime departure) You get beverages as needed instead of a 4 oz ration. Selection of snacks instead of 3 pretzels. Crews were friendly and young instead of old and abusive. Nice new Airbus 320.
Cons: Limited options for travel. They don't go everywhere that I do.
Cons: Going to Orlando my flight was delayed by a hour and coming back from Orlando it was delayed by 3.5 hr. Need to get that fixed. Sitting in a airport for hours longer then need is not fun.
Pros: Very smooth ride, only a little bit of turbulence here and there but nothing to write home about. Crew was also extremely professional and friendly. For my first time flying solo, they were amazing.
Cons: Entertainment was lacking. My entire row couldn't change the channels at all so we were stuck watching the same movie on repeat. Couldn't even get to the map to see how the flight was progressing. WiFi also kept going in and out every 3-5 minutes. Knew this was to be expected over Canadian airspace, but the rest of the time was unbelievable.
Pros: The boarding was very organized and went quickly. The extra leg room is wonderful. Although I fly as cheaply as I can, I didn’t feel like I was crammed in.
Cons: I don’t enjoy flying so one of the reasons I try to fly JetBlue is for the option to watch tv. The sound system was broken on this flight so it wasn’t possible. The flight attendants were not very friendly.
Pros: The flight attendants were very nice and kind. They asked if we needed anything. I liked the people I sat next to. The plane was clean. There was no mechanical problems at all. The boarding process was good.
Cons: The pilot or co pilot did not say anything to us if we were going through a turblance when we did go through it when we got closer to Salt Lake. We j ud at felt it.
Pros: Friendly and relaxed service, healthy and nourishing snacks, on time arrival and departure, great communication throughout. I love Jet Blue!
Cons: Everything was great!
Cons: The in flight entertainment was not working for my boyfriend and myself. A little disappointing.
Cons: Staggering number of delays ultimately canceling flight and rescheduling with another plane.
Cons: We left late because they were deciding whether or not to give more fuel if we could live in Salt Lake. Not a good thing
Cons: The seats hardly reclined and it was a long layover (maybe the airplane could if have been checked for problems before passengers got on). There wasn’t much of a choice amongst snacks and didn’t find any to be healthy.
Pros: Friendly staff and service
Pros: The TV was free, thats about it.
Cons: My plane boarded 20 minutes late. Jetblue forgot to de-ice the plane so we missed our takeoff spot and left an hour and a half late. We arrived in SLC over 2 hours late, and then proceeded to wait 20 minutes for an open gate. The entire flight I was seated next to an elderely couple that were making out literally on top of me. When placing my overhead bag, one of the straps were caught in the lock mechanism. Instead of the flight attendant moving my strap and closing the bin, she gave me attitude and told me to fix it myself. 2 hours into the flight i wished to sleep, but my television display was broken. As a result, the brightness of the screen was on the max setting the entire trip. The last two hours of my flight I spent dealing with a headache because the rest of the plane was dark, and the display was half a foot from my face. To top off my horrible experience, the row across from me, and the row in front of me, had a screaming infant which wailed the entire flight long. I will never fly with Jetblue again, and will advise anyone considering it to pick a different airline.
Pros: Leg room is awesome. Snacks and beverages were great. Service was quick. Flight was very comfortable at a very affordable price.
Pros: We were upgraded to row 5, because there were not enough of the economy seats left.
Cons: Nothing, it was a great flight with a very soft landing.
Pros: The crew was so attentive. I loved the comfort of the plane and the efforts of everyone to make it a great experience!
Pros: The flight crew and ground crew were all very good, the flight left a bit late but they made the time up in the air.
Cons: The seats on both legs of my trip were worn out. The seat was sunken in, leaving a bulge at the edge of the seat that caused my legs to go to sleep. Given the real issue of blood clots in planes, Jet Blue needs to make sure their seats don’t contribute to poor circulation.
Pros: No issue with the flight.
Pros: Great gate attendants
Cons: Couldn't turn off the TV
Cons: Let me preface this by saying that prior to this experience I generally though highly of JetBlue. To change my opinion of them, JetBlue had to monumentally screw up, which they did. This was the worst experience I have had on any airline, ever. Why I am mad: - I had a 4.5 hour delay due to maintenance that caused me to miss a flight to India. The 4.5 delay was on a 50 minute flight from Portland, ME to JFK. I nearly could have driven faster than JetBlue got me to New York. - Because of my missed flight to India, I missed day 1 of a two day wedding of which I am a wedding party member - In order to get to India in time for day 2, I had to book a new flight on a different airline for an additional $1000, on top of what I paid for my original flight to India - I was originally told by JetBlue in Portland, ME that they would offer me a reimbursement for the Portland flight, a hotel in NYC, and a travel credit for the trouble. While not totally satisfying since I was still going to miss a day of the wedding, I thought this to be a fair enough offer. - However, at the JetBlue desk in JFK, they completely reversed course. I was told that all they could offer me $100 travel credit. No reimbursement for Portland flight. No compensation for the extra $1,000 flight I had to book. And best of all, no hotel in New York, I was stranded at JFK for the night. I spoke with a supervisor at the desk who repeatadely told me that JetBlue had done their job in getting me to JFK and that they were not responsible for anything after I arrived to JFK. A 4.5 hour delay on a 50 minute flight is bad. Being steadfastly unwilling to compensate for missed flights is worse. And stranding me in JFK after telling me they would offer me a hotel room is just plain unacceptable. My family will be cancelling their JetBlue credit cards and we will look elsewhere for flights in the future.
Pros: I needed wheelchair assistance from check-in throw boarding. Jet Blue crew were wonderful all the way
Pros: I like the boarding process which they board the end of the aircraft first (row 20-25) then move up (15-25) then up. I think it's very sufficient. The entertainment was good even though I thought more choices can be available
Cons: The seat is super uncomfortable... I couldn't sleep at all even though I was very tired....
Pros: Leg room, free entertainment, snacks
Cons: Boarding was chaotic
Pros: Everyone was so accommodating! Traveling as a family of 5, two of our girls sat across the aisle and were treated so sweetly. They loved it! Such a positive experience! We were so pleased with our traveling experience we will definitely be flying JetBlue again!
Pros: My flight was delayed which wasn't related to jet blue and they did everything g they could to get us going which was nice
Cons: The quality of the plane itself seemed to be lacking. The seats felt old and the "entertainment" on the plane did not work well the sound was barely tolerable it was crackling and high pitched. On my previous delta flight everything felt clean and up to date and I even got a free alcoholic beverage. Lately it seems the quality of the flights has gone down where I used to hold it above other airline services. I fly out of Portland Maine a lot and I know it might not be top priority to get a decent plane up there but it would be nice to be on a plane that doesn't feel like one of the crappy spares.
Pros: Flight was delayed for about three hours due to the hurricane, no problem.
Cons: Then after finally pushing away from the gate, the pilot said there was a medical emergency and we had to return to the gate for the person to receive medical treatment. Shortly after the plane docked, three ladies were escorted off. Three new passengers were brought on board. Then the pilot said we had to wait for the deplaning passengers baggage to be removed from the plane; that took almost an hour.
Pros: The crew was helpful.
Cons: Flight was over two hours late. No excuse was given. Original Departure time was 9:30pm. Was receiving alerts beginning from that morning notifying of delays which continued as I waited at the airport that night. This seems to happen frequently and nothing is ever done to make it up to travelers. On the plane, the audio for the tv had static so you couldn't actually hear anything. It doesn't seem like you can turn the tvs off, which is annoying as they emit light, so if you want to sleep you have to deal with the light from your tv.
Pros: Jet blue is a wonderful airline.
Cons: Sitting on the plane waiting for someone to come fix something with a tree year old and 10 month old'
Pros: Everything! By far the very BEST airline I've ever had the privilege of flying on!
Cons: I have never had so much trouble with a website/app as with JetBlue for this trip. Checking in was super stressful, since it was a short layover and I had to go through customs. There were few employees to help when I couldn't print my boarding pass, and when I handed my already checked bag off (it was checked through) without a boarding pass the JetBlue employee was extremely passive aggressive and acted like it was somehow my fault I hadn't been able to get it printed and there had been no one around to ask. The flight crew was highly professional and the flight was good, but I was pretty disappointed by customer service on the ground.
Pros: For full plane went well
Cons: Nothing short
Cons: Wouldn't let us on the flight when there was plenty of time to get there. Manager was arrogant and slow - didn't care. Poor policies at that airport.
Cons: Need display screens for entertainment.
Pros: Very comfortable
Pros: Crew was great, cabin was clean
Cons: Wi-Fi was very spotty.
Cons: Less announcements about masks we get it We don’t need instructions on hand washing Drink service needed
Pros: It was nice that middle seats were not filled.
Cons: It was silly that the flight attendant said we had to pull mask up between bites of food.
Pros: Comfy without the middle seats being filled! Good entertainment and inflight wifi!
Cons: So over gold fish and biscoff cookies! I know with Covid it really affected meal service but Delta’s meal service is pathetic!
Pros: Plenty of room and everything was on time!
Cons: I didn’t take the flight. Due to a change in my post-flight quarantine lodging arrangements in Salt Lake City, I needed to change the date of my flight. Delta directed me to Aeromexico to make any changes. Aeromexico refused to allow any changes. So I was forced to not take the flight and buy a new ticket for a later date.
Pros: Boarding was good
Cons: Plane smelled like urine
Cons: Slat Lake is not good for mobility challenged people.
Cons: Informing that the flight would delayed by three hours ahead of time would have been amazing. Instead of extending the delayed time every 45 min making us miss all the other opportunities to fly out
Pros: The sanitizing of the aircraft was beyond expectations. The personal wipes were a plus so we could clean the areas around our seats to our satisfaction. The individual snack bags are a great idea to minimize handling. The boarding rear to front should have been in place years ago and the deplaning was about normal front to rear with distancing.
Cons: 100% as always.. delta has never disappointed! Keep up the good work guys
Pros: I appreciate that Delta chooses customer safety over profit by not packing flights and continuing to social distance.
Pros: Had a great professional crew even the pilot walked through the plane to answer questions
Cons: Nothing delta returns to the top
Pros: crew was exceptionally kind and helpful. I felt they really cleaned up, sanitized, even participated sanitary clothes and hand sanitizer to everyone.
Cons: Nothing, perfect. better than expected.
Pros: We were very efficiently boarded, however there was a mechanical problem. The flight attendants helped every one know where their connecting gates were, as we have exactly 9 minutes to make that connection.
Cons: We were very efficiently boarded, however there was a mechanical problem. The flight attendants helped every one know where their connecting gates were, as we have exactly 9 minutes to make that connection. We would like to give a shout out to the baggage team that were able to transfer our bags in such a short amount of time. And also to the San Jose flight that we did for four of us.
Cons: everything, never flying with delta again
Pros: Crew was great very clean and comfortable plane
Cons: Food was very inapropriate for the hr
Cons: Better choices for food
Pros: Very courteous
Pros: Great crew, comfy seats and efficient boarding!
Pros: Good services in anticipating our next leg
Cons: I would ask that the gate does not share in detail reason for delay in seat assignment is related to getting a family sitting together when the basic rules should apply unilaterally.
Pros: Friendly flight attendants. I appreciate the complimentary bag check for my carry-on bag to the destination.
Pros: The crew was good
Cons: The plane was extremely hot.
Cons: Ran 2 1/2 hours late, poor customer communication
Cons: Flight was delayed, for unkown reasons.
Pros: It was water or water no soft drinks
Cons: Only water
Pros: The flight & landing were smooth, and we arrived a few minutes early.
Cons: The entertainment system & WiFi were out. Wasn’t able to charge my phone either as the outlets weren’t functioning properly.
Pros: I got to fly where I needed to go.
Cons: The vents above my entire row of seats did not work, meaning there was never any air coming out even when they were fully open. This made for a long, hot, claustrophobic ride. The flight attendants seemed first disbelieving and later unconcerned that no air came out of our vents. I doubt they even reported them as broken after the flight. Delta's new boarding process is absolute chaos. More than half the plane had no seats assigned until 20 minutes before boarding, and the seats were displayed on a screen a good 25 feet away from the gate, meaning people had to constantly walk back and forth between the doorway and the screen. The gate agents were clearly overwhelmed. If this is how Delta is organized now, I won't be flying on them again.
Pros: really nice cervices
Pros: The exit row seat on this leg out of PHL to SLC did recline! No need for Delta Comfort+ unless you want to get off of the plane ... faster.
Cons: For some reason, the pilot couldn't figure out how to adjust the cabin temperature for the first hour or so. This made the flight (and I was sitting in an exit row seat, right by the door which is usually cooler) uncomfortably hot and muggy. Food? No food. Thank goodness for Delta Lounge (even if it was the one in PHL). Just snacks make this a poor option for many. I don't know what is up, but the USB charger on the two monitors didn't work and neither did the outlet between the seats. And I have two different sets of cables "just in case" and they're the 3-in-1 so I can try to charge multiple devices (Apple, Android and Samsung) but nothing worked.
Pros: Entertainment did not work even though it was a quick flight we sat at the gate for a while which turned the flight into hour and a half.
Pros: Able to download boarding pass into apple wallet
Cons: Flight was almost an hour late departing, bag is a carry on but storage too small to keep bag, then wifi didn't work the entire flight. Had to run to our connection since our layover time was taken up in Boise. If we had missed the flight, we would have been re-routed to another airport over 1 1/2 hrs away since ours closes. Next flight was not much better, oh and wifi did I t work on it also - last 3-4 delta flights I've taken have been late and didn't have working wifi - starting to think their system doesn't work at all - seriously going to take any other carrier but Delta going forward
Pros: Flight wasn't full so the service was very good lots of food and snacks and we arrived early too
Cons: Music was a. Bit limited
Pros: Good Snacks, crew is friendly, toilet was clean and we arrived on time
Cons: Two overhead bins burst open during takeoff. it's pretty scared when luggage could potentially come flying at your face.
Pros: Staff as always was very attentive and courteous. The board process proceeded smoothly and we were able to depart a few minutes early.
Cons: One attendant did display a slight level of un-professionalism after spilling a drink on my mom and not apologizing. I chalk it up to her embarrassment and she probably just forgot.
Pros: Frequent food offerings throughout the flight.
Cons: Boarding the plane was not easy. We had to show our passports to a man who quizzed us on where we were coming from, where we were going, and asking questions about our luggage. After that we had to go through another security point and scan our boarding passes, but most people could not get through with our boarding passes, so we had to get in another line to show our passes to our agent. It was very stressful since we were running late since the border control line was so long! While it was stressful, I am glad that they were careful regarding the security,
Cons: Better spacing. Don't tell me the last two rows are blocked off for safety that's bs, they were blocked off so the flight attendants could have a row to themselves.
Pros: Seats were great! No snackage... #covid19
Pros: excellent service very happy with the crew
Cons: Better food
Cons: The plane was cold. The entertainment was mediocure. The staff was telling the people to get in their seats quickly as they had missed their scheduled time for take off. Yet, they 1st said we would board a little late because og clearing out the previous flight. And, no one could get carry-ons above their own seats and had to go back to then come forward. The attendants should monitor better what is brought onboard. I thought they were rude. And it took almost an hr to get our luggage at the carosel.
Cons: Be on time. Run planes that aren’t constantly breaking down.
Cons: Fog in Philly. AA should have diverted our plane to a bigger airport where AA could have serviced us (eg. Washington DC). Instead AA diverted us to Salibury/Ocean City!! We missed our connections.
Pros: Great crew and staff.
Cons: I didn’t notice that the aircraft didn’t have chargers so my phone died mid flight. I wish there were chargers on long flights.
Pros: Pilot was awesome. Beautiful landing. Got us there safely.
Pros: Seat was o.k. Loved that captain made periodic announcements, esp to point out Niagara Falls .
Cons: It was a very good flight. I had a tired back.... suspect it's because I'm short, (5 ft tall) seats are somewhat uncomfortable.
Cons: Rude crew member who yelled at me from across the cabin. I had stopped at an empty row to sit and look out a window. She yelled at me to return to my seat.
Pros: Absolutely nothing!
Pros: On time and quick boarding process
Cons: The attendants at the gates could have been more pleasant
Cons: Waited one hour and 50 minutes for my luggage. The ENTIRE flight had to wait 1 hour and 50 minutes for our bags to come in on the carousel. There were no apologies or explanations or compensation offered for our wait. Absolutely unacceptable.
Pros: Wonderful and on-time!
Pros: Comfortable seating and attentive service
Cons: Remote terminal which required walking stairs with carry-on bags, and two bus rides to reach the plane. No food other than packaged snacks in first class. No seatback video screen.
Cons: Uncomfortable plane
Pros: Had to take three flights to get from Maine to California. All were on time or ahead of schedule. Flight attendants did exceptional work on each flight.
Cons: My left ear still won’t clear but other than that nothing.
Pros: Macy in the first class cabin was friendly, attentive and very efficient.
Pros: Everything was on time
Pros: Non stop and an on time arrival after 20 min delay at phl when no gate agent could deplane previous flight. After being re-ticketed from overbooked united flight all in all not bad at all.
Cons: They happen from time to time,... from many unassigned seats causing long gate line where several butted to the front to random noises during the flight from passengers to 6 bathroom trip guy just weird all around. Plus the multiple gate changes by PHL which are to be expected. Just a regular PHL departure,...
Pros: No problems, friendly crew
Pros: Professional crew. Good landing.
Cons: Twice delayed because of delays in Newark connection. Need more room in coach.
Pros: On time
Cons: No food and no entertainment
Pros: Comfortable aircraft with an efficient and present crew.
Cons: First, passengers had to wait in the main terminal for a bus ride to a remote terminal to wait to board. The only food items offered in first class were unhealthful packaged snacks. On a flight such as this, at 8:12 am, something like a breakfast wrap would be more appropriate, especially considering the fare charged.
Pros: Nothing spectacular when sitting in economy.
Cons: Agent at lost baggage was less than desirable. His attempts to read my mind failed miserably.
Cons: Escape row seat in a non-escape row wasn’t too fun or comfy. Took half the flight to connect to the WiFi to watch movies to discover that the selection was limited and poor selections at that.
Pros: Crew On time Boarding
Cons: Seat space very tight and I’m not a very big person Seat ahead of me fully reclined left me even less space Seats are very uncomfortable Expected more for the cost of over $200 one way
Pros: extremely friendly, smiling, and helpful service by the flight attendants, comfortable upgraded first class seat, timely arrival.
Cons: No food service other than snack/ junk food.
Cons: First of all, the announcements that come on after we take off and last for 20 minutes is very annoying. We have brains, we can figure out how to plug our head phones in to watch the inflight entertainment. After saying the “show” was going to start, it never did. The screens were down the whole time and it remained black. good thing I had my phone with a movie on it, or I would be very bored for the 3 1/2 hour flight. Never flying with American Airlines again.
Cons: An S80? Really? This plane was older than me! Horrible plane! The crew looked like they had been up since 4 am. Looked exhausted and unfriendly. I do want to clarify that this was an American Airlines operated plane, not etihad.
Pros: Flying beats driving
Cons: no entertainment or food.
Pros: The airplale MD 80 are old
Cons: Finding checked luggage at philadelphia airport. Inadequate signs and helpful people. It was very hard on my wife who is disabled to walk to the luggage carousel and we didnt see anyone who could help with disabilities.
Pros: Boarded and took off on time; great crew
Cons: Waiting 30 minutes to get off the plane because they couldn't use the gate assigned to them.
Cons: Seated next to two obese people and when combined with narrow seats made it all but impossible to sit comfortably on my seat. Flight was delayed on the tarmac for almost an hour due to missing part. When flight arrived in SLC, gate wasn't open (at nearly 1 AM) and had to wait on tarmac again for 10-15 minutes.
Pros: Flight was good, there was no entertaiment, so i put one, but the flight was only almost 4 hrs. At night.
Cons: I like the service I got and the service I got. I have back surgery and walk with assistance and the lady that helped me a the the birding desk took care of my needs and it was so much appriciated.. Thank you.
Pros: Biscotti, pilot, crew
Cons: Seating is so uncomfortable, unable to recline more than an inch or so, then everybody rushes around making you return to an upright position! What's the point?
Pros: Upgraded to business class
Cons: I've never been so cold on a flight in my life. Had two blankets on me and still shivered the whole flight. Others in the cabin were wearing coats and sweaters - in July. Crazy cold.
Pros: Was up to standard for everything. nothinf lacking, not exceptional
Pros: Boarding was smooth
Cons: Plane is dated and a little crowded
Pros: We flew out of Dallas on AA Eagle and what a great flight! Super roomy, great staff, newest aircraft. Loved it .. wish we could have flown all the way home to SLC on the Eagle!
Cons: The only thing we didn't like was the turbulance coming into Amarillo (tornado warning!) but the AA Eagle handled it just fine .. so truly there are NO complaints .. Love this short flight between Dallas and Amarillo!
Pros: The FAs on this flight were nice, engaging and caring, the way they should be, so I was happy about that.
Cons: There was a teenager in front of me that was turning back every few seconds and made me nervous what she was looking back for. Then, there was an elderly woman sitting right next to me that kept pushing me every time she'd get out her tablet, pills, pocketbook, etc. By the end of the short 2-hour flight, I've had it with her.
Pros: Great selection of movies, comfortable flight overall.
Cons: Only one drink service for 5 hours, attendants not friendly or attentive, and it took an eternity--again with AA--for the bags to hit the carousel. Over 30 minutes' wait.
Pros: Laura was very helpful and so was the gate agent.
Pros: The site was easy to navigate
Cons: Delay but it happens
Pros: Everything was great could have done nothing to improve wonderful set
Cons: Everything was great magnificent service no complaints
Pros: Crew was nice
Cons: Took forever to get plane boarded and we left late for no reason. Seat is like a brick.
Pros: Easy upgrade
Cons: E145 don’t have room for carry on. Instead of people having to wait at exit of plane. Tell them well a head like when booking check your bag and make that one free. It goes to the same place right?
Pros: the crew was nice
Cons: We had to sit on the tarmac and deplane just to get onto another flight where I no longer had any power to charge my devices
Pros: efficient, punctual
Pros: Nice crew
Cons: Not let babies on planes
Cons: proverbially poor United service, this time compounded by weather-related flight delay. when gate agents are nowhere to be found and all the information one gets is terse departure update via the app, one knows that flight should have booked on a different airline.
Pros: Very friendly crew.
Cons: This is a small airplane. I would like to see United insist that people check large bags.
Pros: We landed 45 minutes early!
Cons: The fight was fine. however on the flight to Houston they loaded one of my suitcases onto another flight. It arrived to late for me to get it before the ship left. Their customer service is horrible!!! They continually lied about where my luggage was. Never again!!!!!
Pros: It was a good flight, everything was good as expected.
Cons: The carry-on I had was oversized, so I paid the$30 fee. Then I got to the gate and they informed me that the Representative was supposed to give me a luggage label along with my receipt. I only got my receipt and I was then charged another$65 for my bag. Not happy about that additional baggage fee.
Cons: We had a particularly grumpy flight attendant that made the experience less enjoyable for many. Also, while it was a “Lufthansa” flight, it was really operated by United and did not offer the level of service or politeness that we experienced on our Lufthansa flight from Denver to Frankfurt.
Pros: On time.
Cons: Flight attendants were dis-engaged. No smiles. Not pleasant. RUDE to those wairing for bathroom. Not polite nor particularly helpful. Could not understand pilot at all. No one could dicipher his message. NO emtertainment without extra cost... on 4 1/2 hour flight!! Shame on you United! BOOO. Hardly anyone paid for entertainment. Very boring and hard flight. Will give another airline my $500 next time. Everyone who buys a cross-country ticket should get free entertainment. NO food except one cookie on 4 1/2 hour flight. Are you kidding?? I was starving! A small snack-meal was expected for the high cost we pay for ticket. BOO UNITED. UNTIL UNITED PUTS CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMFORT FIRST... I and my family will be flying another airline. Very very disappointed.
Pros: United and American Airlines are subpar at best. I had a poor experience with rude staff and the seats were VERY uncomfortable.
Cons: United and American Airlines are subpar at best. I had a poor experience with rude staff and the seats were VERY uncomfortable. Definitely not worth the cost. Especially cause EVERY little thing costs way more. They don’t even offer free carryons. Lame.
Pros: That it’s a direct from Houston to SLC lots of smooth air
Cons: Not even a pretzel No diet sprite tiny seats crj 700
Cons: Flight got cancelled again and again then call customer service but he doesn’t know anything about information. Totally ruined my day
Cons: I only made it as far as Chicago, and my bag was fairly comprehensively lost as I did so
Pros: check in agent
Cons: 1.5 hr delay due to aircraft issues, and crew ultimately trying punt on the “airport protocol’. beyond lame.
Cons: Person at ticket counter was rude did not want to wait in us when we was 1st in line. Did not greet and say good morning
Pros: AT THE TERMINAL IN PORTLAND THE ATTENDANTS WERE SUPER HELPFUL AS I WAS CONFUSED ABOUT GETTING MY TICKETS.
Cons: JUST BEFORE BOARDING THOSE OF US PASSENGERS NOT ALREADY BOARDED WERE TOLD WE COULD NOT BRING OUR CARRY ONS WITH US AS THERE WAS NOT ENOUGH SPACE TO STOW THEM OVERHEAD. SO WE WERE TOLD TO SEND THEM DIRECTLY TO OUR FINAL DESTINATION. WHEN I BOARDED THE PLANE I COUNTED 7 OVERHEAD STORAGE BINS ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE TO MY AISLE WHERE I WAS SEATED WERE NOT FILLED AND THERE WERE SEVERAL SUCH BINS ON MY SIDE OF THE AISLE (I DID NOT HAVE TIME TO COUNT THEM BEFORE I SAT DOWN). I ASKED AN ATTENDANT WHY THIS WAS SO GIVEN WE WERE TOLD THE BINS WERE FILLED JUST AS WE BOARDING FROM THE DEPARTURE AREA. SHE WAS POLITE AND SAID SHE WASN'T SURE ABOUT WHO MADE THE ANNOUNCEMENT IN THE TERMINAL BUT THAT IN ANY EVENT MY CARRY ON WOULD ARRIVE SAFE AND SOUND IN VANCOUVER - IT DID BUT WITH MY BOOK FOOD SNACK WHICH i HAD INTENDED TO USE WHILE ON MY WAY TO CHI. AND VAN.
Pros: First time first class flyer. It was great!
Cons: Being separated from my wife in seating when we booked before others that we talked to!
Pros: Fine short flight.
Cons: LAX makes you think you are in a 3rd world country. Its dirty - poorly laid out and no amenities. I had to walk 2 miles and go through 2 TSA points to transfer from the international arrival terminal to terminal 8 for my final connection. Comparing LAX to the Frankurt Germany airport is like night and day. Finally get to my gate - and I have to watch a pop up ad to get 45 min of complimentary wifi.
Pros: Arrived early
Cons: The plane dropped during decent.
Pros: Instead of just giving a cup of the beverage of choice, they gave us the whole can. I liked the snack they handed out much better than the pretzels on the trip out. The wheelchair assistance was wonderful.
Cons: You ask us to rate the entertainment, but there isn't a n/a box and there really isn't any unless you use an electronic device.
Pros: The flight was ok.
Cons: It took a long time to hook up to the jetway once we taxied in to EWR. Pilot even commented that he didn't know what the heck she was doing out there.
Pros: Cute nice attendant.
Cons: Pretty sad their old planes are way more comfortable than their new ones. Overall flights to get home were much better than flights out of town. Overall though, hoping to never fly United again.
Cons: The whole trip was a nightmare and to top it all off, THEY LOST MY LUGGAGE!!!
Pros: I liked when Delta stepped up and had us booked on one of their flights within seconds, after United abandoned us at their own terminal.
Cons: Flight delayed 3 times due to maintenance, total of 5 hours. After final arrival time came and went with no plane or even announcement, I had to go back through security to front desk to find a rep and remind United that they had forgotten about us. They handed us off to the Delta counter with no apology (except the "new girl" apologized)
Pros: Love the stroop waffles.
Cons: Partially at fault of late arrival, but we only landed 10 minutes late, and were immediately rushed through baggage claim and customs to re-check our bags for the next flight. There my bags were scanned and all the guy said to me was "ooh that's too close" and walked away. I then stood in a line that did not move for over ten minutes, with only three people in front of me, while 6-7 desks were empty and doing nothing but talking amongst each other. I then called the guy that scanned my bags back over to ask why I was still standing there while my next flight was about to board and he told me I'd been rebooked!! I didn't want to wait for the next flight so then had to sprint, with my bags, from terminal 2 to 7 (which if you've ever walked through LAX you'd understand how unpleasant that was alone). I did make the flight, but just, thanks only to the girls at the checkout counter who were actually willing to help me, although not eager to.
Cons: I think a whole can of soda is the least that should be provided for any flight.
Pros: My grandma passed away and the airline would not work with me when I tried to change my flight. Very upsetting. Mark Davis
Cons: Kayak did not provide me with confirming email for flight in either direction and I missed my first flight to LA from Portland This is the second time I was not contacted via email from Kayak on flight reservations
Cons: it took me three days to get home. the first plane had a mechanical error. the second flight united booked me on was over booked so i didnt get a seat. the third flight they tried to send me on was also over booked. luckily someone volunteered to give up their seat.
Pros: We stood in line forever to then be told the clerk couldn't ch we ck us in. When we tried the kiosk it didn’t work. Long story short we missed our flight due to their poor organization of the line and crowd.
Cons: The confusion caused by lack of direction from the staff.
Pros: Couldn't really figure out your Wi-Fi system so I just read a book
Cons: It's not really easy to set up your Wi-Fi system through the United app
Pros: Nice crew, quick boarding, quick service.
Cons: Only thing they lacked was entertainment. You could download an app for everything, but there were no plugs to charge your device.
Pros: I liked the mobile app and everyone was friendly. I ended up being frisked by tsa, but they were just doing their job so whatever.
Pros: It use to be, I could put up with the lack of comfort and services because the cost savings made it bearable. But thes days, the basic ticket costs are high and increasing despite ala Carter pricing. The flights are always full and the number of flights are down. Airline profits are at a peak yet very little is flowing back to improve the flying experience.
Pros: They were always very attentive to let you know about gate changes or seat changes. Which to me personally is very important. I have had very bad experiences with other airlines in the past because they did not communicate properly their gate change and I missed my flight and missed events I was flying for. Excellent job to United for communicating gate changes very well! They did not break any of my luggage and the seats were fairly comfortable. The employees were also very attentive and willing to answer any questions.
Cons: It was a bit confusing gate wise. I did have to ask an employee what was going on but they cleared up the confusion pretty quick. I flew on a jet verses a regular plane, and it was very loud. I had my movie turned up all the way with headphones and I still could barely hear it. It wasn't the fact that I couldn't hear my movie but in general it just hurt my ears. I was sitting towards the back of the jet though so I'm assuming if I was closer to the front it wouldn't have been as bad? Overall it was still a great experience
Pros: That I got a refund, although that should be a given
Cons: Had to purchase new flight day of, as I was told of flight cancellation 5 hours before leaving to the airport. I then had to spend $500 on a new flight, and one of the connections refused to let me on the plane. Stil not home.
Pros: Pleasant crew
Cons: We got moved from United to American Airlines because United overbooked out first flight. We finally landed in SLC 8 hours later than we were supposed to only to be told that they had left out luggage in Chicago. It is now a week later and I still don't have my luggage! This has been the worst travel experience I have ever had!
Pros: Flight crew was top notch. Quick baggage claim.
Cons: One gate agent spoke rudely to a passenger for throwing something in her trash can, she could have stated what she needed to more kindly, especially in front of other customers.
Pros: made good time.
Cons: they lost our luggage on the way back,Didn't make it to Portland. But it was brought to our house at 7:45. I think for 1600.00 for tickets you should provide pretzels. That would be great. Thanks
Cons: Canceled flight, booked me an impossible connection, put on stayby when I get the tickets months in advance. Offered no vouchers and made me fly out on a diffrent day. Hs aircraft delays on all flights
Cons: Tried to get assistance at the United desk where my gate was located at and they could not answer any of my questions and would not assist me or many others who had the same issues.
Cons: Payed to upgrade seat was not comfortable and person next to me kept moving onto my side. Flight was 2 hours late so I missed my connection and had a terrible time to find a flight home. United staff was not helpful and kept telling me to go somewhere else for help. No food was served only tiny packet of way too spicy pretzels. Sat on the runway for an hour. Flight crew said 15 min and it was much longer. Crew seemed to be really confused.
Cons: She missed this flight due to her first flight from Little Rock getting cancelled.
Pros: Boarding was quick once it happened
Cons: Both of my united flights were delayed due to crew issues, one they were stuck in traffic, we'll they should leave early like we do. The next they were late for some clearance issues. The seats on this air craft were very thin and uncomfortable, you could feel the metal.
Cons: Why does the crew giving the announcement have to either hell into the microphone or why does the speakers so loud it was deafing!
Cons: We paid for first class seats from Houston to Salt Lake City, thinking it would be provide us more than a regular seat. It did not. We received one drink and were allowed to pick from a basket of snacks (packaged pretzels and cookies), but that was it. No additional food, no entertainment options on our plane, no blanket, no pillows, no hot towels. We basically paid all that extra money for a little bigger seat. It was not worth it. This was our first time flying with United in a while and it will definitely be our last.
Cons: New plane but uncomfortable seats that don't lean back... There was only one attendant for the entire business and economy class cabin... The first class had an attendant but only one for the rest of the ENTIRE plane! There was a TON of turbulence and we never heard ONCE anything from the attendants or the pilots about the bad weather! Scared and uncomfortable the entire flight!
Pros: Quick efficient
Cons: Frontier made me miss this flight
Cons: El servicio es de lo peor
Pros: Crew very kind and helpful. Seats a little tight
Cons: More leg room
Pros: The ease of getting onboard.
Cons: I paid extra for the exit seats thinking there were going to be more comfortable, they were worse then the regular seats and I felt ripped off. On top of that you charge for water? That’s silly.
Pros: I didn’t like a think since I checked in online and arrived within the 45-60min window to check my luggage. The system said it couldn’t find me. Frontier marked me as a no show before the time window closed
Cons: A full refund or they could’ve let me use that ticket price I’ve towards another flight equal to or of lesser value. What really ticked me off was I had to pay for my bags for them to turn around right after I gave them my card to swipe they then mark me as a no show getting even more money from. I will never use frontier ever again. I’d rather pay more money and delta
Cons: No allowing passengers in the back run to the front when the plane stops
Cons: You get what you pay for! Super full flight, no amenities or comfort
Pros: My seat and the flight crew.
Cons: You being on time.
Pros: Finding a better price than the actual site of the air line
Cons: Nothin honestly.
Pros: We had plenty of room with our young children. Everything was super clean!
Cons: The flight was delayed twice after boarding, we had to sit in the plane for almost 2 hours. I dont think frontier is worth the price anymore, you definatley get what you pay for. I had to check a bag both ways because a checked bag is cheaper than their fee to carry on a bag. There were no complimentary drinks or snack even after having to sit on the plane for so long. I requested an aisle seat and got stuck in the middle. Overall, think I will be paying the extra for any other airline than frontier.
Pros: The seats had lots of room
Cons: The flight attendants were very informal and not well groomed. The announcements made were not very professional
Pros: Not applicable.
Cons: Due to mechanical error, the flight was delayed, we missed our connecting flights, and customer service was rude. With all the added fees, my total flight round trip came out to $502.90, so the options given to me as partial refunds did NOT make sense ($180 if I refunded my entire return flight, which is way less than half my overall cost, or per customer service at my connecting location, “you’d be lucky if you got $80”, which is way less than a quarter of the overall cost). My connection was at Denver and my final destination was Seattle. My options were to fly to Portland, OR and figure out the rest on my own, at my cost. Or book the next flight to Seattle, which was 24 hours later. I got a voucher for up to $150 for hotel, but absolutely no assistance finding and booking a hotel, especially since they were sold out (I was looking for hotels just past midnight) or cost over twice the voucher. Am NOT flying Frontier again and I have shared my experience with friends, family, and co-workers and have strongly advised against this airline.
Cons: Flight was more than 1 1/2 hours late taking off after we had already boarded with only one update from captain explaining that there was a computer problem and he had no idea when it would be fixed but that they were working on it. When we finally did take off, we waited for an additional 30 minutes in Salt Lake while we waited for a gate and another 30 minutes to be allowed off after reaching the gate. Given the amount of time for security and early check-in protocol, I could have rented a car and only arrived an hour later to my destination without having to endure this flight.
Pros: Great flight from start to finish. Had boarding passes, so easy, Quick luggage checkin, easy boarding, and easy, Quick luggage retrieval at end of flight.
Cons: The ticket was cheap so of course we booked asap! Additionally you pay for your seat, some airlines there is free options, sometimes not. But with the price of your seat and ticket with any other airline, it comes with a free carry on bag and even some small free snacks on the flight. Nope. Pay extra hefty fees for small carry on, and of course pay extra for peanuts or even water. So after everything, it’s the same price as any other airline. At least delta has TV or United has snack options or American has decent leg room. Didn’t like either Frontier plane I flew on. Now I know for the future, it’s not as cheap as I thought.
Cons: All of the unexpected baggage fees ($40 for a carry on bag? Really?) and fees if you wanted to pick your seat. You even had to pay for snacks and drinks that are always complimentary! And I have never sat in more uncomfortable airplane seats (they didn't recline AT ALL). Plus could they have made a smaller seat tray? Frontier is a joke of an airline
Pros: Crew was fine.
Cons: Please forward this to everyone you know! Do NOT EVER fly on Frontier Airlines!!!!!! They are a total joke and charge fees for EVERYTHING!!!!! Want to carry on a bag or push everything you need into a small backpack? Oh, need to take clothes? Well that's $40...per carry on, $60+ at the airport. Oh, you wanted to sit down? That will cost you...$10 per seat minimum, again more at the airport. Btw, those fees only cover one leg of the trip. You can save by leaving your luggage there. See how helpful we are? You think you are getting a good fare but the fees have made my trip almost three times the initial fare. United is testing similar "economy" fares. None of this information is presented upfront so it's a bait and switch scenario. Also, trying to reach a human being is nearly impossible. I feel sorry for the customer service reps, they should get hazard pay. They have to try to justify these ridiculous policies. Save yourself money and frustration and NEVER FLY FRONTIER AIRLINES!!!!!!!
Cons: Seat comfort , no water
Pros: The flight attendants were nice.
Cons: After a 10 hour layover, they stopped the boarding process because a toilet malfunctioned and we had to wait another 45 minutes. The lack of complimentary beverages was pretty annoying as well, especially considering that after buying my tickets, I spent an additional $75 on checking bags as well as another $50+ to choose my seats at on-line check in. Of course nowhere did it mention that if I simply checked in at the airport instead of doing it online beforehand, I could be assigned seats and it wouldn't cost me anything. I drop $1000+ on airfare, checked bags, and sneaky extra fees, and you can't even give me a $.50 can of soda for free? I've flown Frontier before, but the customer service has gone downhill in the past few years. I will never use this airline again and I encourage others to do the same. They're providing an inferior service and staying in business by offering "cheaper airfair" which they make up for by tacking on exorbitant luggage fees, sneaky online fees, and neglecting customer comfort.
Pros: The flight attendants were cordial and funny. The ground crew was great to deal with too. The new airbus seats were comfy but lack entertainment and adjustments. The thing that irks me about Frontier is that every time we fly we have to pay for bags, whether they are checked or carried on. It makes the cheap flight deceptively more expensive compared to the other airlines and you have to pay for them separately. Lose-Lose
Cons: No real complaints about the flight, HOWEVER, Frontier's luggage handlers (probably in Denver) ruined a piece of my luggage. I got home very late and didn't notice the problem until the next morning. I checked their baggage policy and noticed there was a four-hour window to report lost or damaged luggage, so I was out of luck on a $100 piece of luggage. I recognize damage can be caused by any airline, but when you have to pay to check a bag AND carry one on, you would think you'd be given more than four hours to report a problem.
Cons: I've never felt more taken advantage of by a company than I have for Frontier airlines. I purchased my ticket on a tight budget, only to find that the cost more than doubled from fees when I arrived at the airport. I was expecting to pay extra for a checked bag, but have never flown with an airline that also charges $40 for an overhead bag. I ended up spending more on luggage than my actual ticket (2 bags), which turned what would have been the cheapest flight option, into the most expensive. They also have a seat fee- yet another last minute slap-to-the face charge.
Pros: Since it was a short flight there was little time for me to make a judgement.
Cons: My boarding pass printed on a home computer wouldn't scan making it necessary for me to go back to check-in to get a new one. Agent at security said this is common for Frontier. Gate was changed while I was at check-in because it was used for an Orlando flight. My flight was late getting off the ground. I have no idea why.
Pros: At least I did not have to wait on the tarmac for 4.5 hours like I did in Denver.
Cons: the aft steward was a power-hungry tyrant. He kept telling me to get into my seat which was occupied. When that could not be resolved, he told me to get out of the aisle so others could board. I was in the penultimate row and the people in my row needed to move to the last row. So who was I blocking from boarding? Also, the flight was extremely turbulent and not one seat in the last 4 rows had barf bags. As I deplaned, it looked as if 10-12 others did not have them either - - good luck cleaning that plane. The seats are sized for 5-yr olds. And lastly - you stick it to passengers with all the non-disclosed fees.
Pros: The crew was good- at least one of the guys was. Never saw the others so I can't speak about them.
Cons: Very uncomfortable seats. A plastic chair with barely a 1/4" foam on it. Smallest tray tables ever- probably for the drink and snacks they charge you for. Not roomy at all. And more expensive than my other flight- only reason I took this one was because it was the only non stop flight to SLC. Paid $357 then was charged an additional $60 to pick my seat and for a carry on- what the heck was the $357 for?? Not to mention the plane was dirty- I guess they didn't have time to clean it between flights- not the crews fault I guess. I will go out of my way to avoid frontier from now on. It was my first and last flight with them. I'll take my chances on the plane they transported the Ebola patient in from overseas. How are companies with this many low ratings still in business?
Pros: getting off the plane
Cons: one crew member (aft steward) was a little tyrant. I was waiting for a seating error/confusion to be resolved and he kept harping to get out of the aisle and take my seat (which was occupied). He then closed all the overheads when we were half boarded - making new arrivals scrambling for storage. Also, all the hidden fees!! I paid 1 1/2 times my airfare in more fees. I'll fly another airline before choosing you again. I have flown over 500,000 miles in the past 20 years and this was the worst.
Pros: Crew did a fine job.
Cons: Booked over Kayak which did not inform me of the excessive charges for things like booking seats or carry-on luggage. In addition, the new Airbus planes have seats that do not recline, made of rigid foam padding, and tray tables that are smaller than an iPad Mini. There was no food or beverage without an extra fee. There was no entertainment. Frontier would be a lot further ahead if it worked with services like Kayak to report consistent cost of fairs compared to other vendors. The bottom line is that this is the last time I fly Frontier, and the last time I book using Kayak.
Pros: It was crazy cheap
Cons: The seats were tight, there was no movie, no snacks or drinks except to purchase, no tray table, and the bathrooms stunk up the plane frequently.... sigh I haven't flown in a while but I don't remember flights being this terrible
Pros: Prices we're good. The on flight staff was friendly, it's unfortunate that you have to pay extra for non alcoholic drinks and carry on bags. Gone are the days of cheap flights AND honey roasted peanuts. But I guess that's the trade off for cheap airfare now a days.
Cons: On our departing flight my husband and I had gotten us and our 4 kids up to the gate only to realize I had forgotten to add my lap child to my ticket. I get that it was not convenient but the lady was very short and rude and angry with us, she treated us like complete idiots. While it was an unfortunate thing to have slip my mind, it happens! I was bound to forget something when packing and prepping for me and 4 kids to travel. We offered to show our post on Facebook when our daughter was born as proof of age. But she gufawed that ridiculous idea. Because obviously we could have set up fake accounts and hacked the dates to make it look like our kids was under 2!! Really!?? A social security card doesn't even show birth dates. Anyway, the whole charade left us feeling very embarrassed, frustrated and like we were criminals or something. She handled things very unprofessionally and showed us no empathy whatsoever. She told us we would not be allowed onto our return flight without a ss card or birth cert. Which we got when we reached our destination. Upon boarding for the return flight the workers were great. They let us right on the flight and didn't even ask for the birth cert. or anything. They used common sense. Which is what I wished this other flight attendant had more of.
Pros: We got to our destination.
Cons: Seats are like sitting on a piece of plastic and they don't recline, which was funny every time we landed or took off they would ask to have the seats put in the upright positions. The minimal savings you think you are going to have go away quickly when you find out you have to pay for a carry on and pay for a checked bag. Oh and you want a soda and a snack on your 3.5 hour flight? better be prepared to dish out for them as well. When you are getting on the plane they have billboards going down the walkway that say Featured on Frontier and Showing soon on Frontier, but no TVs to view on. No place to plug in your devices to charge like the other airlines I use.
Cons: Rude crew, horrible boarding procedure, late take off, later arrival, tell us wrong terminal for bag claim
Pros: I find it absurd they frontier charges you to choose a seat, they charge for checked bags and for all carry-ons.
Cons: I contacted Frontier about a week before my flight to let them know my friend I was flying to visit had to make an emergency trip to see her father who was dying of liver failure. On the first attempt I was notified that only immediate family members were would be an excuse but that I could try to request through a different faucet of emergency circumstances. I put through another request and was never contacted. I did not fly to Salt Lake but I was still charged even though they could very well have sold my seat to another person and made double the money for the seat. I am very disappointed with the service I received from Frontier.
Cons: I think I overpaid because your website is not clear about when you need to pay extra for your seat and one carryon.
Cons: I got stung by the $30 each way for a carry on bag. This made the flight the most expensive of my choices rather than the most affordable. Never again.
Pros: Nothing. If I could say that I liked something, it would be that I liked that my flight wasn't any longer than it was.
Cons: Both planes (departure and returning) were old, dirty, and I have sat in more comfortable metal folding chairs than the chairs on these planes. Frontier charges for everything. They charge for seats that recline, charge outrageously for reclining seats with a ting bit more leg room, their beverage service is not free, only water is not charged. No snacks either. Luggage that is considered carry on at any other airline is charged at $60 at the gate and the flight attendants pander and really push passengers to apply for their credit card. Horrible all the way around and we will NEVER fly Frontier again. Ever.
Pros: It was on time
Cons: No drink, cramped seats. The fact that they lost a price but then charge for everything else so trip actually doubles
Pros: There was no food and no entertainment. The flight was delayed 30 minutes. These are not criticisms, I did not expect food or entertainment, and delays happen. I'm just explaining the score I gave.
Cons: The seats are very uncomfortable! I have very long legs and have had my knees replaced so it was not comfortable at all!
Pros: The only thing that was bearable was the staff. They were pleasant enough and continually apologized for the massive delays.
Cons: Both flights were delayed. The return flight was delayed by three hours. I understand things happen but rather than feeding me a line of bs about how it's only going to be "a little while longer" I would have rather have been told that the flight wouldn't board till three hours later. Because the flight was so late I missed my shuttle and ended up getting a cab which was an expensive toll I was less than pleased to pay. The plane seating itself is uncomfortable as all hell. Granted I'm 6'3" with a muscular build I could have chose a stretched seat but for a 1.5 hour flight I didn't think the extra fee was worth it. This and several other minor things have convinced me to never fly Frontier again so long as I can help it.
Cons: Pretty much the experience. I had a pretty lengthy layover to begin with. The delayed flight was absurd. It doubled my layover with little to no notification as to when it was going . It is was pushed back 5 times with no announcements from any Frontier employees. Plus once the plane finally ended up showing up, the gate was staffed with one employee that was seriously overworked. Everything was delayed again. Once we boarded the plane, there was yet another delay from the maintenance crew and there was no estimated time for departure. This seriously is making me consider never flying Frontier again.
Pros: I was sent the wrong boarding code which caused me to miss my flight. No one from the airline will look at this computer glich.
Cons: I felt duped and deceived by the slimy nature of your airline not being upfront with its prices. $13 dollars to choose a seat??!? 40 FREAKING dollars just to WALK on the plane with my carry-on?? I thought Fronteir would be like other airlines but no, I had to pay $53 TWICE just to walk on the plane for my round trip flight. If my flight is going to be $106 more than what I paid on the ticket, then tell me upfront so I can know not to fly with you guys. And after all of that, being tricked into paying more than HALF of my ticket price in stupid hidden fees, your plane was cramped and austere, lacking the padded chairs, ample legroom, normal-sized tray tables, and conplimentary beverages available on countless other airlines. So I basically paid $100 extra for a cramped and uncomfortable flight. I was disappointed in your airline as a whole and will never be flying with Fronteir again.
Pros: Come on price..got us there on time
Cons: hidden costs..no offer of even pretzels/water.. no notification before boarding of what seats we had.. implication on web site that we HAD to choose a seat and all seats available had a $ attached.. unclear on medical carry on, some said it had to be a device you had to use on the plane to carry on w/o $ charge.. but buried in your web site was CPAP as acceptable carry on w/o charge..
Pros: The safety of the flight, kindness of the attendants and the cleanliness of the plane.
Cons: The hidden fees. I purchased a ticket not knowing that I would then have to pay for a seat! How ridiculous is that??? Did you expect I would hold on to a handle like on a subway??? If I purchase a ticket, I expect that to include a seat. Your ploy to attract people to purchase tickets, and then charge up the nose for even a seat as well as a carry on bag and peanuts, is not impressive. I will not purchase a ticket on Frontier again and I will definitely let my friends and family know that they will be paying just as much for Southwest if they do so. I'd rather know up front what the total charges will be. Very disappointed in this aspect of my purchase.
Cons: Although there were warnings that "fees may be applied", I could not find how much those fees would be until 24 hours before my flight when I checked in. Before that, I had actively searched for how much I would be charged for my seat and my luggage both online and on the phone. No answers. I described this process to a lawyer who said there is possibility for a large class action lawsuit. I ended up having to pay $70 in fees (and will again on my flight back home -- probably -- again, there's no way for me to find out from Frontier until I check in). I don't mind fees, but they should be transparent. I will never fly Frontier again.
Cons: Baggage drop lines were unbelievable. Foreign travelers were in the same line as domestic. There were only four agents to handle 100s of passengers. When I checked in online, to select a seat I had to pay an additional fee and then was also charged for my carry on bag which increased my fare by $68. In addition they do not participate in TSA precheck which further delayed my security process. Although I had allowed plenty of time (1 1/2 hours) to drop my bag and get through security by the time I got to my gate my flight was already boarding. Additionally you are charged for everything on the flight even water which for a 3 1/2 flight is ridiculous.
