The food was decent for airplane food
When I booked my ticket, I booked a window seat in the exit row. When I got on the plane, my seat number was a middle seat not in the exit row. I saw right across from me there was an open window seat, which the lady sitting next to was using for her bags. I explained to the flight attendant that I had booked a window seat and wasn’t sure why I ended up in a different seat then I had booked. I asked him if he could ask the lady to move her bags so I could sit there, or if there were any other window seats available. He said no, that if I wanted I could ask the lady myself. Completely unacceptable. Of course she has no I treat in giving up this free extra space she has to me, and I’m sure she would have been happy to if a crew member had asked/explained the situation to her.

The crew was lovely. Really nice, and did a wonderful job with the cart service.
We ended up being deleyed about 30 minutes, in damp weather. It's not like it was snowing. Not sure why it took so long. B/c of baggage charges now everyone brings a carry on. This seems to slow the process of boarding as know passengers are asked multiple times to check baggage (for free, which is the one nice thing) before boarding b/c the overheads will be too full. Group 6 which I was in seemed like it was just the rest of the plane. Super busy, took me forever to get to my seat all the way in the back. Why don't airlines reverse board? People sitting in the back should board first. I feel like this would save so much time.

Horribly made me cancel flight because of 1min after 30 min cut off for boarding pass. Sat at the front desk for 29 minute arguing until my plane left.

I will never fly American Airlines again. From the moment I checked in with the ticket agent to getting off the plane it was a disaster. The ticket agent was rude, hostile, and dismissive. Employees walked through the line at security forcing everyone to consolidate their belongings to one bag. I had a large wallet in my hand and was told I had to step out of line to put it in my backpack. They only allow you one bag to carry on without paying extra. At the time of boarding they announced that the overhead storage was full so even those that paid extra were still forced to check their bags. The plane was dirty, the service was slow, overall just gross. They don’t have WiFi or in flight entertainment so I paid the $20 to purchase the WiFi. It was worthless. I couldn’t stream anything, even music kept stopping to buffer. I understand it will be slower then on ground WiFi, but it was impossible to watch anything and a complete waste of money.
It was short
Completely full plane. Ridiculously tight seat pitch. Overhead bins full. 45-minute delay for a dead-heading flight crew. Long wait for checked baggage. No beverage service because of turbulence. Flight crew out of position is a management problem, don't make it an inconvenience for a 737 full of paying passengers!
Very old plane. No personal entertainment. Very basic service.
Easy and quick boarding. Excellwnt service in first class. Comfortable ride.
