I travel a lot and will avoid this airport if I can. The chairs were horribly uncomfortable with no lower back support and we were not even given pillows and blankets. There was also no free entertainment. I rented a tablet and had it taken away an hour before landing while I was in the middle of a movie. I might have been ok with that if the flight attendant had politely asked for it back rather than rudely waving and pointing while I stared at her blankly trying to figure out what she wanted. Next time I’ll pay a bit more for an airline that respects its passengers and our comfort."

But the worst part of the flight was the entertainment situation. There are no tv screens on the plane. They wait to tell you until after you've taken off that you can download the air Canada app to stream their selection of tv and movies to your personal devices. Once you do, they'll explain to you that it's really hard to get the streaming to work properly because so many people are trying to use it at the same time, but don't worry - they have preloaded iPads available ... for rent. It feels like a blatant cash grab on top of an already disappointing flight experience."

The app didn't advise that the flight was boarding (unlike other apps such as BA). I missed my flight and they insisted on charging me more than what I paid for the entire ticket just to return home. I got back to London to find that my luggage didn't make the journey. Staff at Air Canada were unfriendly and unprofessional."

Pros: "This was my first time in Canada never been there before I had a great time until that one moment I had to deal with workers from air Canada except one agent at the ticketing desk....I had checked in online the day before however I had some card issues because they got shut down by my bank and due to the holiday in America I was unable to call my Bank prior to the airport....got to the airport and tried to explain that all I wanted to do was pay for my bag with cash ...but no one took the time out to listen each time i tried explaining myself I was send to a different location to join another line ....by the time I got to someone who was willing to listen my flight was closed ..her name was Aurora and gave me nothing but attitude when I explained my story......anyways finally got to ticketing and a met the only agent that day who exercise some level of customer service that day...if only I could remember her name ...sigh she went the extra mile because at this point I was frustrated and unsure if I would make it out of the country a sane person due to the amount of chaos I experienced prior. She got LISTENED .....SHE TOOK THE TIME TO LISTEN...got me on a new flight and went above an beyond to assist me that morning I was on the verge of a breakdown at that point all other staff member was very disgusting not only to my self but the other individuals who had mishaps that morning."

Hotel sent me back to airport because i didn't have voucher which AIr Canada guys said they can't make one? Everything didn't make sense. And they told me not to come again. The failure to cancel caused us to be unable to rebook, and subsequent avoidable delays arising from Air Canada's ineptitude caused us to be two,days late for arrival. The problem was solvable with some simple rebooking, but the ground,crew failed to assist, then the flight crew, when we finally left five hours late, was Impersonable, unhelpful, uninformed, and utterly unprepared. It was a terrible, second rate, poor quality experience and I would not recommend Air Canada to anyone. Your airline needs serious training in Professionalism and responsiveness."

I reached the airport and on being checked at the counter, I was told that I cannot board because I don't have a Canadian visa. It was shocking to learn that I needed visa for a 1.5 hour layover. The website should give a prompt or should share the requirements. And all my ticket money got wasted."

Our hassles were compensated with meager meal vouchers given too late, There was no pre-boarding on our flight (just one big cattle call) which made boarding with child and gear extra awkward,"
