Cons: Delayed for hours on runway
Cons: Wearing a mask was difficult.

Pros: Safe travel
Cons: more masks
Pros: Kosher snacks! Thank you! Very safe and controlled Covid procedures. Made me feel safe.
Pros: Very controlled and safe Covid procedures. Outlets and screens at every seat.
Pros: Felt very clean and so glad they are not selling every seat
Pros: The space between passangers and the steps the crew took to ensure our safety.
Cons: Nothing it was a perfect flight.
Pros: Everyone was great.
Cons: Boarding crew not very friendly
Pros: I always have a consistently good experience on Delta. Everything was great.
Pros: Quick and easy boarding and departing. Wonderful and friendly staff.
Cons: Honestly, everything was great. Food and entertainment were a little lacking but for a 3 hour flight it was more than acceptable.
Pros: Exit row seating for no extra charge
Cons: Seat mate not friendly
Pros: The crew was amazing
Cons: Other travellers where rude
Cons: If you can get it he people at the desk to stop making announcements while there are announcements being made over the airport PA system that would be great. Especially when the person chosen to speak has a heavy accent and it’s competing with other announcements. My over 50 ears can’t make it out.
Pros: The crew was great.
Cons: The flight and crew were great. But I was not able to choose my seat because I purchased an economy flight. I was very uncomfortable. But I was luck that that people that were sitting with me were great.
Cons: Explain why there’s over a 2 hour delay
Pros: Everything was as expected. Few delays but weather related and was only about 90 minutes
Cons: Reclining seats
Pros: We landed 45 minutes ahead of schedule.
Cons: Boarding was rushed and we left the gate late.
Pros: The crew was attentive.
Cons: Games on the tv were okay. Tetris would be a nice addition.
Cons: Please reduce your delays - again we took off with more than an hour delay and by definition you are responsible of that disagreement, you are the company I am paying for the service....
Pros: The crew was nice
Cons: The food
Cons: Originally, they were putting me on a flight connecting through Atlanta. However, I was traveling with my brother and there was only one seat on it. After looking again, we were put on a much better route through Detroit. I did not have a seat on the second leg and was stressed that I could get bumped. I made the flight but was given a middle seat. Since I have clostrophobia I began to panic. My brother sacrificed his exit row seat for me. He had booked through Delta. I wondered if he got better treatment because of that
Cons: flights all on Delta - about one a week for 3 months straight - and yet when Delta cancelled my flight and re-booked they did not give me any upgrade or loyalty as I saw it - I had paid extra for Delta Comfort and they told me the flight they re-booked me on simply did not have any comfort available. However, I was not the one canceling the flight and re-booking - that is their problem and after so much loyalty for years I feel like I should have gotten some kind of upgrade for free...If I have to cancel - I have to pay fees - but if they cancel - I lose ...despite being a very loyal SkyMiles customer. I am quite disillusioned with Delta now and will have to look around to see what other airlines there are now - and my entire family - and what kind of loyalty they give to their loyal customers. It needs to be a two-way
Pros: The last time we flew Delta, we were underwhelmed. Our flight was delayed several hours and there was nothing exceptional about it when it did finally leave. That was 5 years ago, and there's been a lot of changes. There I'd now in-flight entertainment, reasonably comfortable seats, and everything was on time.
Cons: Virtually no food options.
Pros: Although we ended up being stuck on the plane for 2 hours prior to take off due to high volume, weather and as the pilot put it, "possible military activity" the crew kept us informed every step of the way. There was one flight attendant in particular who was so full of energy and made the unfortunate circumstances not so bad. She entertained us and kept us in the loop the entire time as did the pilots. It made the 2 hours not feel so bad which was appreciated.
Cons: That we were delayed on the plane for two hours on a small plane but I know it was out of their control.
Pros: There were many delays and cancellations due to bad thunderstorms at LGA. Despite a few hours delayed (because the airport was closed due to the storm), the flight was still schedule to leave! I was very happy about that. They did issue waivers for those who could not make the later time. Once delta got the ok to fly.. The flight left the gate very fast and we arrived and exited the plane super fast too. The process was so efficient and quick, I did not feel the waiting period. The flight attendance were so happy and positive, they made he flight very enjoyable. Great job delta!
Pros: I arrived safely.
Cons: We all were bused to the plane. And we all had to stow our carry on bags with checked luggage.
Pros: The on time departure. The air hostesses were very attentive. Fast baggage arrival
Pros: Comfy on time and personable. Food was good too. Thank you.
Cons: It was all good.
Pros: Flight attendant was nice. She changed my seat to the front cause the guy behind me was kicking my chair.
Cons: They cancelled my flight from the day before and when they rebooked my flight, they could of gave me a better seat.
Cons: Got put on standby despite having purchased my ticket over 1 month in advance
Cons: The flight left three hours late while the crew was waiting for an oxygen tank to arrive. We were boarded onto the plane after it was nearly an hour and a half late, then waited in out cramped seats for another hour and a half as we continued to wait for the same piece of equipment. At one point a Delta employee announced over the plane's PA system that we'd be getting vouchers to compensate us for this absurd delay, but there was no explanation of how to claim those vouchers.
Cons: Due to weather patterns, we sat on the runway for 3 hours waiting to take off. There was approx. 50+ planes ahead of us. I know this because I was sitting next to an off-duty pilot on his way home. About 2 hours in, there was 30 planes left to take off, and then us. They air traffic control people were only letting off one plane per minute which is what was holding us. THEN after the 3 hours on the runway, our crew timed out and the brought us back to gate saying we were not taking off. At the gate, they informed us the flight was not 'cancelled' but 'delayed' to the following morning. I/m not sure how a 16 hour difference is considered 'delayed', but I digress. All Delta reps had NO idea the time of the new flight the following morning and told us all to just 'keep checking the app'. Now, fortunately for me I live in Brooklyn and could just go home. But what about everyone who was at LGA as a layover? I heard from multiple passengers they had to spend the night in a hotel, that Delta did not pay for. We finally got notice the new flight was scheduled for 9:30AM, which they AGAIN delayed until 11:30AM. Many people did not get the second change, and were already at LGA for the 9:30AM flight. To say Delta's handling of this was poor is an understatement. We knew when we got on that plane the crew was going to time out. Again, I was sitting next to an off-duty pilot who told me to 'get comfy, we're gonna be here awhile' the minute I sat down. Delta should have given us a fresh crew, or had a backup one prepared. I understand the weather is out of there control, and I understand you can't have a tired crew piloting an airplane, but there are other ways to have us take off remotely on schedule.
Pros: For a short-haul flight on a small CRJ, it was the most pleasing and comfortable flight. No delays and everyone was pleasant from ground staff to flight crew.
Pros: Wheeler chair service is available
Cons: Gate changed in the last minute and non-English speaking wheeler chair customer (my 89 years old mother) was left at the old gate by their wheeler chair services and no agent at the gate knew about her. Both round trip flights! This is totally NOT acceptable. She could have been lost and with no ability to help herself and miss the flights. It was lucky that she found Chinese speaking customers to help her.
Cons: Delta doesn't manage their flight schedules and personnel with backup or standby crew in order to assist whenever there are delays across domestic flights. The plane was late to arrive at the gate and we were also told that while the pilot was ready to take off, we couldn't leave because we were waiting for a flight attendant to land from Pittsburgh (we were in La Guardia airport in NYC). delta would rather I convenience the flyer instead of hiring more personnel or figuring out standby or backup plans for delayed flights.
Pros: Love Delta and their attention to customer service. They make you feel overall that they value you as a customer.
Cons: My seat was broken and when the seat in front of me reclined, it was very uncomfortable. I was just thankful it was an 1.5 hour flight and we didn't get stuck on the runway in NYC like my last two flghts.
Pros: Clean, pretty roomy (Delta Comfort)
Cons: Couldn't get onto internet. Both my wife and I could not access internet. Might be platform thing as we have Apple devices; woman next to us seemed to have nomorobkem with PC.
Pros: Seats were reasonably comfortable.
Cons: Boarding process was ok (they bused us over to the plane and then had us walking out halfway to the plane's stairs before frantically sending us back on the bus because the plane wasn't cleaned yet). Not a big deal but we were traveling with a 10 month old so miscommunications like that cause a larger inconvenience than usual. The real downer on the flight was when we needed hot water quickly to warm our infant's bottle. The stewardess had begun beverage service and was about 8 rows away from us. My wife hit the call button, expecting the stewardness to come over somewhat quickly. Instead, she just continued beverage service and got to us about 15 mins later. By that point it was too late and the baby was wailing from hunger. When we asked why, knowing that we had a small child, the stewardness didn't just push the cart forward and attend to us more quickly, she said she didn't want to do that. No apology, not even a sense of remorse. At the end of the day, a customer's experience will always be tainted by poor service and that is what we received on our flight.
Cons: Out of all the airlines I have flown, this was quite disorganized in my opinion. The fact that I was not able to select a seat, nor did I have one assigned to me until prior to an hour before boarding, gave me a bit of anxiety. I don't think it's fair to take away this option to those that get the "cheap, standard" tickets.
Pros: From curbside check-in to landing the plane, overall excellent service ! Very pleased to find out they offered a shuttle from checkin to the gate. I am having knee surgery soon and the walk from security to gate 34 LaGuardia would have put me over the top with pain! It was a very nice gentleman that gave me a ride to the gate and even stopped to let me use the bathroom. Thumbs up *****
Cons: The fact that I was charged $150 to check a small cosmetics bag is no loose change ! I would have carried it on but my hand is in a brace and I has to have extensive surgery. Then yoy get to the gate, and they repeatedly asked for volunteers to check their bags for free. I think this is a very unfair policy and try to explain it to the curbside attendant. I literally cannot carry more than five pounds in my left hand until I get bone replacement surgery. I'm also having knee surgery soon and this small additional weight would be caused me excruciating pain ! They didn't care and still charged me $150 for a bag thats no bigger than 12 inches and weighs less than ten pounds. Thats the way you treat your first class passengers? One other quick note: the sausage and egg sandwich? that was served for breakfast was absolutely horrible! Thumbs down !
Pros: Delta changed me to another flight without charge and the rep was very accommodating and pleasant
Cons: Multiple delays, from 8:15 to 8:49 to 9:05 to 9:39 to 10:12 to 10:19 to 10:25. I am not joking. Honestly, if the delay is due to 'maintenance' for an incoming plane that has not left its originating destination, why quote any time at all? The check in rep did provide an announcement at 8:15 that although the time of departure had moved to 9:05 , he did not see how that was possible since our plane was on the ground in Richmond undergoing maintenance. I was in LGA. When I heard that, I changed to another flight, so the outcome was not as bad as it could have been. I am aware of these other times since my email is packed with Delta's notifications, which I welcome usually.
Cons: Terrible boarding process
Pros: Crew was friendly and professional.
Cons: Luggage costs
Pros: All was good, also of note is the flight was not full
Pros: The staff at WestJet was very accommodating to me.
Cons: Better snack choices
Pros: The pilot got us to Toronto.
Cons: Everything. Contrary to most of my experiences with WestJet over the past nineteen years, this was the worst, overall, trip I have ever had with them, from delays, to missing my connecting flight, to gross incompetence with the staff, to a failure to even empathize with our situation (with a baby!).
Cons: due to weather a pile of flights were cancelled, we had to call West Jet and get re-routed
Pros: The crew were nice.
Cons: The flight was very delayed due to weather, which is fine. However, more information would have been really nice.
Pros: The on-board crew were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Boarding was terrible. One lady was very rude to people who are boarding. Also took quite a long time to board.
Cons: Flight was delayed two hours and not handled well by the airport staff. Boarding was a mess and disorganized. We were not kept informed of the reasons for delay.
Pros: Entertainment system was easy to use
Cons: Boarding was chaotic, jammed, not that friendly.
Pros: Direct from Orlando to London!
Cons: Coming home to the cold
Pros: Comfortable seats. Nice staff.
Cons: Poor entertainment. I usually watch movies on my iPad but there was no wifi and the available TV shows were not to my taste, the screens were small and not clear. The magazine was boring, no games to play. Flight delayed an hour for no apparent reason.
Cons: No coffee
Pros: Flight was only delayed 20 minutes.
Pros: I fly frequently and this is the first time I've travelled with West Jet. The big difference was the staff. Unlikely many airlines the West Jet crew - in flight and the ground crew - were all very friendly, helpful and actually seemed like they enjoyed their jobs. I called West Jet prior to checking in on-line and my call was answered within a minute by a real human who was so helpful. That's the polar opposite of so many airlines like Air Canada.
Cons: The seats are too close together but that's not unique to West Jet. And the in flight crew was so helpful that it makes up for the lack of space.
Pros: comfortable seats, wifi entertainment
Cons: Unable to upgrade delta flight because it was a westjet code share flight, westjet unable to upgrade delta flight because it was to be done on delta servers. I was finally able to upgrade at the delta check-in counter for a higher fee than usual (ontop of the perfered seat upgrade I already paid for). I waited 1.5hrs after takeoff before I called staff for a drink. Over 2hrs before they officially started serving main cabin drinks and snacks. There was some turbulence but they could have served people by hand without the cart. They had no problem serving first class before, during and after takeoff.
Pros: Flight was smooth and landed 17 minutes earlier. Bags arrived before I was in front of baggage area.
Pros: Easy to change flight same day to one flight earlier.
Cons: Forced me to check in my (undersized) duffel bag carry on. Then forgot To load the bag onto the plane. WestJet cited a questionable and unlikely reason, that the bag was not loaded due to baggage to passenger weight ratio for safety reasons, even though flight was far from full with multiple empty rows. Plus there was a grand total of only approximately 12 pieces of baggage at the carousel. Also the plane’s auxiliary power generator was broken, which meant no a/c while on the tarmac before and after takeoff. Cabin was warm though not intolerable, however led to delays at both origin and destination airport due to having to wait for an external power supply truck. No in flight service due to supposed turbulence. Which would have been fine, except there really wasn’t much turbulence. Didn’t affect me, but my neighbor’s entertainment system was broken. However, these multiple issues and the broken power generator makes me wonder about what other maintenance issues have been overlooked or not addressed. Most of all I was offended by the clear lack of honesty about my baggage. If there really was a weight limit safety issue despite the plane being far from maximum capacity, then there are much bigger issues with the plane that makes me never want to fly WestJet again. But don’t insult your passengers by lying to cover up your carelessness. My baggage arrived on the following (my original) flight, but that which was delayed by nearly two hours. I’ve flown on United, Delta, Southwest, JetBlue, WowAir, AA, Alaskan, Virgin, American Airlines, United Airways, China Air, EVA, and Air Canada. So far, WestJet has been by far my worst experience.
Pros: Nice staff. Comfortable seats.. easy boarding.
Cons: No air conditioning til we took off, both on our outgoing and incoming flights. That was very annoying as I actually had trouble breathing!
Pros: Free beer
Cons: 2.5 hours late
Cons: Poorly organized departure lines had plane boarding late, resulting in a long wait on apron for takeoff slot. Late arrival in Toronto meant waiting for a gate, and then customs delay due to multiple arrivals at once
Cons: Faulty weather radar on a stormy evening cancelled our WestJet PREMIUM ECONOMY flight. After deplaning and waiting for all passengers without checked bags to be rebooked, we eventually were on our way by car from LGA to JFK airport to meet a British Airways ECONOMY flight with only minutes to spare
Pros: Liked that personnel are diverse and inclusive.
Cons: Personnel at West Jet counter did not communicate clearly and loud enough for passengers to hear compare to other persons from other airlines like Delta wherein person spoke clearly. Suggest further training on communication skills.
Pros: WE HAVE SPECIAL NEEDS AND THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL TO HELPING USE WITH ARE NEEDS THANKS SO MUCH IT WAS A PLEASURE TO FLY WITH WEST JET CHEERS monica formosa and josephine formosa thankyou to all west jet employees such wonderful kind hearted people
Pros: The flight was delayed, so I was going to miss my connector. They made some calls and got me booked on a British air flight straight to my destination. Thank you!
Pros: The cabin crew were outstanding on WS709 today. This is my fourth trip with Westjet, and today stood above. Diane was beyond efficient and pleasant while maintaining a smile and grace, while a number of unattended children were onboard. My seat was changed, and that's fine - mostly because of the manner in which the crew at Pearson handled it. Then, I couldn't resist giving up my re-assigned (centre) seat so that two sisters could sit together. The two folk in my row were lovely, they talked more than I did, but when I joined in, it was a genuinely pleasant conversation. Three strangers, meeting per chance. The woman next to me had given her seat up for a family to sit together, so it really was a chance encounter! Diane needs to be promoted!
Cons: While things happen, I wonder why when I was readied a seat, it was missed that two children, sisters, were sitting in separate rows? Should they have automatically been assigned two seats together - they were unaccompanied. As happens, an 'aunt-like' woman was seated next to them, and again, Diane was an another in-charge auntie!
Pros: The flight attendants were so helpful ....I have a special needs child and they helped me all the way and made sure we were comfortable
Cons: Late leaving NYC but, I guess weather related
Cons: The plugs don't actually charge anything... :-/
Pros: They were quick and efficient
Pros: staff very pleasent
Cons: delays cancelled flights
Cons: I will say our flight took of a bit late which was a bother so late at night.
Pros: I like the fact that there's a free snack even though its a short flighy. I love it! Cabin crew are so nice and friendly. Very accomodating. Im planning to go back to New York on September.
Cons: - The unprofessional way the staff "sorted us out". Especially the lady at check-in. Our flight was from NY to Toronto and then connecting after a nine-hour layover from Toronto to London. On all flights, we got the seats in the middle of the aircraft allocated, which is challenging when you are on crutches. - The second flight to London was in a terribly old machine where the overhead compartments were not well equipped to accommodate my crutches. The only way they fitted was at the very back underneath all the luggage. So when I asked the flight staff to help me get my crutch to go to the toilet, as I could not get it myself, he asked: "do you really have to use it?". I considered that very rude! - The selling of the entertainment systems took forever, which meant that the food sale was very late. Almost 4 hours into the flight on an overnight flight is really late! Especially when people would prefer to sleep. Due to my medication, I had to wait for food, but it took forever. All in all, not the best experience
Cons: Snack options...
Cons: Even though it was the first flight of the day, WestJet still left an hour late which meant I missed my connecting flight. That meant I also had to rebook my ground transportation an additional cost. Why they couldn't manage to get the first flight of the day out on time, I don't know. This stuff happens, and I am generally a patient and understanding person. That said, WestJet not only caused inconvenience and added expense, the airline had absolutely destroyed my snowboard bag. It was damaged so badly that I had to tape it up just so I could get out of the airport without losing my stuff everywhere. The WestJet employees didn't say anything about the damage, and clearly hoped I would just go away without making a claim. To make matters worse, they only pay part of the cost to replace my luggage.
Pros: The flight was on time, there was enough room for carryons in the overhead bins
Cons: I did not have any food or use the entertainment options so that’s why I scored them low as I don’t know how good they were.
Pros: The flight attendance are always so humble and helpful
Pros: Gave me accommodations for the night and rescheduled my flight.
Cons: Misinformed me about where to catch shuttle for the hotel. A representative told me I was to be given a free entrance to the flight lounge for the inconvenience and it was not approved.
Cons: Flight was late to leave
Pros: Boarding was fast and we were up in the air in no time.
Cons: Seats were a bit uncomfortable
Pros: Very good
Pros: Complimentary drink.
Cons: People bringing large items as carry on and thus making the overhead bins too full.
Cons: no entertainment at all. boarding proccedure at LGA absolutely sucked. the zone system was ignored and we were herded in like sheep. No need for that at all. uncaring staff at the counter.
Cons: We were delayed by two hours and didn’t take off until 10 m which was a huge inconvenience
Cons: pilot should have informed us as soon as plane left gate that we would have extended delay due to missed take off window-we do expect some type of reimbursement!!
Pros: Seats and the crew
Cons: Checking in takes a long time
Pros: Friendliness of customer service (phone), gate attendant and flight crew. I travelled with a pet and their organization is seamless! Well done... again!
Cons: Everything was great
Pros: The crew were very helpful but no refreshments because of turbulence. Flight was low so very interesting to be below clouds and just above. Good notice of flight delay in time to stay home for two hours.... thanks!!
Cons: The flight was two hours late leaving.m Arrival in Toronto was so far from exit and thru customs was very slow... new machines.
Pros: I was only a few minutes late and was not allowed to check in my bag or to board the flight.
Cons: They could have let me board!!
Pros: Great staff!
Pros: Nice seats fast boarding
Cons: Snack can be more richer
Cons: In a flight that is only 1:45, to have an incoming flight delayed by 1:45 for non-mechanical issues can create a lot of havoc. On the turnaround, we boarded and arrived very late. We missed our connection to Sydney and had to wait 24 hours for the next flight out.
Cons: i got to the airport 2.5 hours befor my flight to play it safe and waited at the check in for about a hour befor a air canada employe even showed up. vary poor service on the airlines part i will never fly with air canada again.
Pros: Crew on board pleasant and fluent.
Cons: Check in at Boston rather snotty. Lounge atrocious. The employee at the gate was not able, or willing, to help with seat mix up on next lap, Toronto/Santiago
Pros: Passengers were kept well-informed by staff on flight status. Boarding process was efficient. Gate agents and crew were professional and friendly. Appreciated the in-flight entertainment.
Cons: Seating was cramped and claustrophobic. I'm only 5 feet tall and my legs were stiff after a 90 minute flight. "Snacks" were kind of pathetic - tiny bag of pretzels. The worst part was the crowded gate area at Boston. It made me feel like a cattle holding pen. Since we're told to get there two hours early, it would be nice to have more than a tiny little snack bar with overpriced pre-made sandwiches and salads that have been sitting out for who knows how long. Crappy lukewarm coffee. Starbucks is right outside security, but of course we can't bring liquids through.
Pros: It was on time.
Cons: I wish the entertainment system had had closed captioning, and/or that the inflight wifi had worked.
Pros: Many airlines have code share flights but it is better to buy ticket directly from the original airline as they keep on ignoring the code share flight bookings
Cons: Till last moment we were kept hanging if we will board or not as no seat number was allocated. I believe it was as we were from the code share airline not the real one
Pros: On board entertainment
Cons: No real food for purchase
Pros: Actually, everything was perfect.
Cons: I don't have any complaints at all. Except a ticket agent who tried 2 give me hard time, fortunately I handled the issue. After all, everything was well done.
Cons: All good
Pros: At least the entertainment systems worked this time.
Cons: I've never thought that airplane food was bad before, but they ran out of the main options and I was left with macaroni and cheese. It was bad.
Pros: I have limited mobility and I was very well taken care of by the crew.
Cons: flught was fine.
Cons: Flight was delayed by 10 minutes but had to wait 45 minutes on the plane before take off. Quite stressful and tiring!
Pros: Quick little hop . . . I find that everyone (passengers and flight crew) tend to be in a good mood on these.
Pros: Employee in Boston terminal great help in sign in process. Volunteer, I believe, in Air Canada terminal in Toronto helped me find my way to another terminal.
Pros: The crew at the gate were courteous and handled my inquiry professionally. Did not experience much because I slept through the whole thing. But the seat was comfortable.
Cons: Air Canada receptionist (a blonde lady) at Logan took care of luggage poorly while checking in. She was impatient and threw my luggage like it was trash.
Cons: Flight delayed out of Boston. This seems to be the normal state of things. I dont think I've ever flow this route on and had an om time arrival This caused me to miss my flight in Toronto, forcing me to spend the night. I pressed their customer service rep for a hotel, but they refused claiming it was a weather related incident and they were were therefore mot responsible. The weather in Boston and Toronto was fine and at no poi t on the flight did anyone offer Any Reason Whatsoever for the delay. Moreover when i protested the customer service agent mocked me for not realizing it was a 'weather related incident'. I spent the night on the floor on YYC. Needless to say, Ill never fly Air Canada again.
Cons: Wireless system slow and costly.
Pros: Service was amazing. Flight was intime and they helped me with my luggages to be transferd directly to the last country eventhough they are two seperate booking
Pros: I never got in my flight home for my aunts funeral and to get back to work because nothing on your website warned or notified me that I needed a visa just for a connecting flight on Air Canada so not only did I lose my money I was denied my flight denied the chance to be at my aunts funeral and get back to work. So my honest opinion is that I am extremely disappointed and deeply saddened by this evtire ordeal now I have to spend more money to purchase another ticket with another airline to go home. Thanks for the hassle! Aslim Hosein.
Cons: Seriously? NOTHING AT ALL and I wish I could select no stars
Pros: I liked the service crew and flight attendants help. It was amazing to come home safe. I enjoyed my flight.
Cons: Nothing at all.
Pros: My flight was delayed and I did not get my baggage when I arrive at Boston airport.. I had no clothes or anything to wear for three weeks when I got to Boston. I complain the very day I got to Boston airport. Up till now the bag I checked in at Toronto airport has not been given to me. The funny thing is after I checked in, it was not scan at any other place except Toronto. So it got lost at Toronto where I checked in. All that am told of is the baggage can not be located. Three weeks I spend at Boston, I had nothing.
Cons: Onced arrived to my Montreal destination, I get informed my bag never made it onto the flight once we connected in Boston... Now dealing with AC to get it back. Very dissapointing
Pros: Quick, cheap, great service
Cons: Nothing bad, really
Pros: The flight had to abort take off due to an issue with the pilot seat. We had to return to the gate for them to fix the problem. Left the gate a second time only to sit on the runway with no explanation from the pilot.
Pros: The tremendous effort to support our making our connecting flight.
Cons: The nightmare between flights in Toronto airport
Cons: The USB port in seat 26A was pushed in and wouldn't connect for power. Unless this was exactly the same plane it was true on both flight to and return from Boston. The LCD entertainment system is very slow to respond to touch. The default sound level is always too loud. The commercials take up the first 10 minutes (or longer) of the experience and make for an excruciating long wait.
Pros: Very nice new plane. The special "natural" lighting made it easier to sleep and wake up.
Cons: Both flights were significantly delayed and the boarding process for the flight to Tel Aviv for some reason took absolutely forever. Then we waited on the tarmac for almost two hours.
Pros: Good service
Pros: Service on the flight is always good and the transfer in Toronto was seamless.
Cons: The departure area in Boston is dreadful. no room and no amenities. Straight out of the 60's.
Pros: Very smooth easy flight there were no delays!
Pros: Wish the longer portion of our flight was as pleasant as the short leg to Toronto.
Pros: Wheel chair request on arrival in Toronto was very poorly implemented resulting in two long delays
Cons: If Air Canada can't get these basics right it will be difficult to be competitive with Porter Air
Pros: Clean plane, attentive efficient staff, easy boarding.
Cons: Flight staff forgot to pass out customs forms upon landing in Toronto - caused some confusion at customs entry.
Pros: The fast boaring
Cons: The 3hr delay. Not many announcements. No one at the gate/desk. Had to be in a crowded gate area with no choice.
Pros: Good movie selection
Cons: Poor organization and late takeoff
Cons: fitst leg was late. no communication about the connection. was not not clear whether we're going to make the connection - too much stress
Pros: i didn't like anything about this flight
Cons: The flight was over an hour delayed and everything else since boarding was a mess. It was hard for the fly hostess to keep her calm and we knew she was stressed, as much as many passengers who lost their connection or who had really tied ones. I noticed also that it wasn't the only flight delayed so I am not sure if this is usual with Air Canada.
Pros: Food and comfort were okay.
Cons: My first plane sat on the Tarmac for 45 min, thus I missed my flight to
Pros: Seating in two's very good.
Cons: Both going and return had to wait an extra hour.
Pros: Not much
Cons: It was delayed which caused my connection to be cancelled and rebooked for next day. Was extremly uncomfortable and very expensive
Pros: The staff was accommodating.
Cons: The flight had two legs: from Boston to Toronto and from Toronto to New Delhi. The layover was 1 hr 6 min, which was tight. After checking in our bags, we found out that the first leg of our flight is 2 hours late, so obviously we couldn't take the second flight. Looking at the TV monitors, I noticed that pretty much ALL Air Canada flights are seriously delayed. Luckily, there was an earlier flight to Toronto (which was scheduled to have already left, but it did not leave because that was delayed, too). The staff put us on that flight and double promised to make sure that our checked in baggage gets transferred to this alternate flight. The checked bags did not get transferred. When we arrived at Delhi, after an exasperating 1.5 hour delay after a 20 hour flight, the airline told us, and many others in the same situation, that our baggage did not arrive, and we have to come the next day to pick them up. The issue was, we were not staying in Delhi, just transiting through it. No luck, the airline said, because the customs have to be cleared at the port of entry. We are still waiting for our baggage. Oh, and if that was not enough, the airline allocated well separated seats for all the members of our family. I'd think it would be a common sense that people who have been booked on the same ticket must be assigned consecutive seats. But apparently Air Canada does not have much common sense. NOT flying with them ever again!
Cons: Late and overbooked Toronto Airport Dodd is bad. --- no veggie optional
Cons: The waiting room in Boston was awful and behind security, hot, small crowded. Delayed
Pros: Excellent crew and comfortable cabin.
Cons: I have no criticisms to offer.
Pros: The crew at the gate and onboard were exceptional! At the gate they made sure I could get on this flight even though the computer auto booked me for 2 days later.
Cons: My bags didn't make it on the flight because of a close connection. Then I was rebooked on a flight 2 days later. This is unacceptable. I was expected to stay in Toronto for two days.
Pros: Bos->Toronto Good Air Canada at Boston Logan airport has there own gate area with only 3 gates. This reduces the security line for faster security check. However this also causes problems with PreCheck. See below.
Cons: Bad There is only one line for security at Air Canada Boston Logan because of the small volume at this check point. Because of this, PreCheck passages need to hold onto there bording pass as they go through security. The first security person who checks ID and boarding pass only told my wife not to take off her shoes. He did not tell her to hold on to her boarding pass, so she put it into the bin for x-ray stuff. So later security personnel then told her to take off her shoes and gave her a body scan because her boarding pass was already in the x-ray machine. I always hold on to my boarding pass thru security but had to take my computer out of my carry-on.
Pros: Flight and in flight service
Cons: Bit chaotic in the departure area and at the gate
Cons: United needs stricter rules about boarding and de-boarding during Covid. They lag behind other airlines. De-boarding especially needs to be controlled. Very disappointed. Also, after row 21 there are no screens and you have to use your own device. Then provide outlets! Jeeze that's ridiculous. You need to have plugs if you have to use your own device during the flight!
Pros: It was a small plane. Seats we’re decent. Crew was great.
Cons: The flight was a late night flight to begin with and it was delayed because the plane wasn’t pulled out of the hangar and at the gate. Flight was delayed by more than 40mins due to this.
Pros: Fast boarding
Cons: Wi-Fi could be better with no interruptions. My movies were interrupted 2 times.
Pros: Minimal amount of announcements
Cons: Seat was uncomfortable and toilets were in need of cleaning.
Pros: Amazing crew !!!
Pros: The crew was cool! No problems whatsoever, didn’t know what was leaking on me! And the flight was horrible with Turbulence! I was scared at every moment and the landed was ok! I have had better flights!
Cons: I’m not sure at this point! Probably just Mother Nature!
Pros: great job over all.
Cons: No meal service, old entertainment system.
Pros: The boarding was quick.
Cons: Flight attendants weren’t 5 out of 10 on the friendly scale.
Cons: Flight attendants were very inattentive. After their initial go through with beverages and snacks, they were in the back chatting with each other for the rest of the time. One attendant was extremely rude to me when I was taking my daughter to the bathroom.
Cons: It was very hot on the plane and uncomfortable for most of the flight.
Cons: The flight was supposed to leave at 9:15pm and didn’t leave until 12:00 am.
Cons: We sat on tarmac for two hours after the scheduled take off and weren’t even offered a glass of water...
Cons: I had my back and they made pay extra to check in. After inside the airplane everyone had their back back with them.
Cons: I was in coach. I am 6’2” and my legs were pressed against the seat in front of me for the full 4 hours. Uncomfortable.
Pros: On flight entertainment was nice, so was extra legroom although way too much more money for a seat one way.
Cons: Temperature was not well controlled. Stewardess was rude when asking about food and beverage. Tols is that she was only doing food when we tried to order a drink from her but proceeded to get one without hesitation for the gentleman sitting next to us. Did the same thing a second time also, just very off putting
Pros: Extremely uncomfortable flight
Pros: Flight was smooth and shorter than I thought.
Cons: Forcing people to pay for wifi is ridiculous, this was a cross country flight. The united app was super confusing to use. Don't plan on using this airline again, unless I have no other option.
Cons: I was told that I had to gate check my bags which had all of the necessities to travel with my child ( snacks, books, toys) due to it being a full flight. When I boarded, there were still several overhead storage bins completely empty. Very annoying. The crew could have physicallt assessed and checked before assuming due to flight capacity.
Pros: Fast and easy check-in. Attentive service. Good food. Great wine. Speedy baggage service.
Cons: TSA absolutely sucks at LGA. TSA shut down all lanes except Precheck for a crew switch, and I almost missed my flight! Awful. Someone should be fired for causing the delay today. Everyone was angry and stressed out.
Pros: Excellent service. On time. No complaints
Cons: Was great
Pros: It was quick.
Cons: An old lady was tryna bag, but I just wanted my Hulu show.
Pros: Alex and Marcus -- flight attendants -- were awesome. They thanked passengers directly and personally for flying United, and this was a very nice touch and I observed that passengers were touched by this gesture.
Cons: It was after 10p. The lights were going on and off for beverage services and garage pick up. The lights were the stewards were were on, either for them or for people going back and forth to the bathroom .
Pros: The staff was great, very helpful and courteous.
Cons: Theres no food whatsoever and no options for the tv unless you pay. The seats aren't spacious.
Pros: free movies on the flight with the united app
Cons: The flight attendant was late delaying boarding 20 minutes. Once they started, people were lining up to board. This is a normal behavior however, there employee decided to stop boarding because she said people were crowding. she stop boarding for another 20 minutes. Now, this was a large flight and there wasn't enough room for everyone to stand off to the side. She was rude and there was no reason for this especially when the flight attendant was already late. The plane was delayed 45 minutes due to this
Cons: Can't think of i enjoy it
Pros: The flight at the time was so crowded with people
Cons: Experiencing a delay in my flight and waited 4 hours in the airport.
Cons: My trip was poor because my flight got cancelled and I couldn't get on another flight until 24hours later and there were NO hotels available at all that night and this was an emergency flight I needed to be on. I will not be flying with you guys again because no one cared that I was basically stranded in NY with no where to go and I wasn't given any options to make my trip with you guys better.
Cons: My luggage lock was broken.
Cons: The default on the browser defaulted to April 9 when I was actually booking the ticket for April 2. So I had to forfeit the $317 ticket. I use kayak a lot - can anything be down ?
Cons: I was delayed and missed my connecting and then was not helped in Denver.
Cons: All of it. EVERY SINGLE BIT...
Pros: How helpful and polite everyone was.. This is only my second time to fly and was a good experience. Thank you
Cons: I did not like the seats. I was unable to recline and rest the way I wanted and did not like having to wait 45 minutes for baggage claim to drop my bags
Cons: The father in the row who wouldn't leave his kids alone and didn't let anyone sleep
Cons: My plane was delayed so my connecting flight left me so I had to sleep in the airport.
Pros: We were upgraded to first class on our connecting flight and my husband and i sat together. That made up for the first flight, because our seating separated us three, which I didn't like.
Cons: Delayed flight to Denver and our seats were not together.
Pros: Pilot was great in keeping us informed. Flight was late getting in, then in line with a lot of planes waiting to take off. Then at O'Hare our gate wasn't ready and had to circle. And then we were at the gate farthest from baggage claim. At least the was relatively smooth.
Cons: See above...lateness of everything
Pros: The plane didn't crash
Cons: I was originally scheduled to fly to Cleveland from LGA at 8:30PM. At 12:30PM I got a text from United informing me that my flight had been cancelled. My only rebooking option on the same day was a 9:45PM flight out of Newark. Newark is significantly farther away from my apartment (2 hours vs. 30 minutes) but I took it because it was my only option. After a 2+ hour trip to Newark and going through a disastrous check-in process I found out my flight was delayed until 10:30, then 11, then 11:41. Hardly any real announcements were made until the end when the gate agent stopped hiding. No apologies were made and wasn't even offered water for the inconvenience.
Pros: Great crew. Good communication.
Cons: Lazy airline. Wouldn't tell me before hand whether or not flight was delayed or canceled. Waited until flight was invevitably delayed before were were told it was. Cost me a day. Lost work. Asked airline beforehand about conditions due to whether and was blown off like I was a dumb person who didn't matter.
Pros: Not too much
Cons: Last row smelled like throw up and crew didnt care to resolve . Then someone else came aftr people complain. Still didnt get resolved. And they gave my 8 month pregnant wife a hard time walking in front and said she technically doesnt have a disability. Worse flying experience. Then my bag was ripped half open i carasel.
Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful. A young lady on my Houston to Austin flight helped me find my seat. A young man on my New York to Houston flight was very kind.
Cons: Flight was very late. Boarding is rediculous. They load from the front of the plane and people go to the back looking for overhead storage and then try to more forward again while the people with seats in the back are coming in.
Cons: The snacks were horrible. And the fact you get a sip of a drink makes no sense.
Pros: I had a blood coat on my leg 2 months before my flight and the pain and swelling sometimes were unbearable, United was extremely accommodating, kind and courteous from the check in all the way to helping me retrieve my luggage in a wheel chair and that alone ease my pain, not having to do any extra effort was a huge relief on my legs. Definitely booking again with United and Kayak
Cons: TSA were less than basic, making me go up and down twice trough two different metal detectors and a body scan machine, then asking me to put both my hands above my head while standing up in the body scanner, a guy in a wheel chair who could only stand with a cane, these guys are barbaric but that's not the airlines fault.
Pros: they gave us the whole can to drink on the flight for drinks
Cons: the stupid old white man at baggage check in in New YOrk who was EXTREMELY rude and made me HATE flying with UNited
Pros: I arrived safe and sound. A United ticket clerk at Chicago O'Hare was super nice but didn't really help my situation. I appreciated her effort and warm demeanor.
Cons: After booking the flight I noticed that there was a 25 minute window between the time my flight was scheduled to land in my connecting city and the departure time of my connecting flight. Aware that most airline close the gate door and the flight 10 to 15 minutes before take off and the fact that it takes about 15 minutes to get off a flight after the aircraft door open, I was sure that this would be a problem. Also if I then had to change terminals that would be another 20 minutes. Long story short, I thought this was poor customer service on United's side. I called united the day before my flight and customer service rep assured me that it would be the same terminal and that these times are customary on the part of United. I then also mentioned this at the gate as well and talked to a very kind Flight Attendant. Everyone worked to put me at easy about this. My flight left 20 minutes late but made the time up while in the air. We landed I got off the flight in record time and asked a gate attendant to check my flight status. The flight and gate had been closed. They then had be go talk with a very kind woman at the customer service desk. She then moved me to a AA flight. She said "now the fate closes in 10 minutes so you probably won't make it but run". "You've got to be kidding me" i thought but she was so nice so I didn't question it... But I RAN!!! I didn't make it and AA customer service rep put me on the last flight out. I say in the airport for an extra 4 hours and ate lots of food I'm sure is slowly killing me as we speak. Happy to be safe and at home.
