Cons: Originally, they were putting me on a flight connecting through Atlanta. However, I was traveling with my brother and there was only one seat on it. After looking again, we were put on a much better route through Detroit. I did not have a seat on the second leg and was stressed that I could get bumped. I made the flight but was given a middle seat. Since I have clostrophobia I began to panic. My brother sacrificed his exit row seat for me. He had booked through Delta. I wondered if he got better treatment because of that

Cons: flights all on Delta - about one a week for 3 months straight - and yet when Delta cancelled my flight and re-booked they did not give me any upgrade or loyalty as I saw it - I had paid extra for Delta Comfort and they told me the flight they re-booked me on simply did not have any comfort available. However, I was not the one canceling the flight and re-booking - that is their problem and after so much loyalty for years I feel like I should have gotten some kind of upgrade for free...If I have to cancel - I have to pay fees - but if they cancel - I lose ...despite being a very loyal SkyMiles customer. I am quite disillusioned with Delta now and will have to look around to see what other airlines there are now - and my entire family - and what kind of loyalty they give to their loyal customers. It needs to be a two-way

Pros: The last time we flew Delta, we were underwhelmed. Our flight was delayed several hours and there was nothing exceptional about it when it did finally leave. That was 5 years ago, and there's been a lot of changes. There I'd now in-flight entertainment, reasonably comfortable seats, and everything was on time.

Pros: Although we ended up being stuck on the plane for 2 hours prior to take off due to high volume, weather and as the pilot put it, "possible military activity" the crew kept us informed every step of the way. There was one flight attendant in particular who was so full of energy and made the unfortunate circumstances not so bad. She entertained us and kept us in the loop the entire time as did the pilots. It made the 2 hours not feel so bad which was appreciated.

Pros: There were many delays and cancellations due to bad thunderstorms at LGA. Despite a few hours delayed (because the airport was closed due to the storm), the flight was still schedule to leave! I was very happy about that. They did issue waivers for those who could not make the later time. Once delta got the ok to fly.. The flight left the gate very fast and we arrived and exited the plane super fast too. The process was so efficient and quick, I did not feel the waiting period. The flight attendance were so happy and positive, they made he flight very enjoyable. Great job delta!

Cons: The flight left three hours late while the crew was waiting for an oxygen tank to arrive. We were boarded onto the plane after it was nearly an hour and a half late, then waited in out cramped seats for another hour and a half as we continued to wait for the same piece of equipment. At one point a Delta employee announced over the plane's PA system that we'd be getting vouchers to compensate us for this absurd delay, but there was no explanation of how to claim those vouchers.

Cons: Due to weather patterns, we sat on the runway for 3 hours waiting to take off. There was approx. 50+ planes ahead of us. I know this because I was sitting next to an off-duty pilot on his way home. About 2 hours in, there was 30 planes left to take off, and then us. They air traffic control people were only letting off one plane per minute which is what was holding us. THEN after the 3 hours on the runway, our crew timed out and the brought us back to gate saying we were not taking off. At the gate, they informed us the flight was not 'cancelled' but 'delayed' to the following morning. I/m not sure how a 16 hour difference is considered 'delayed', but I digress. All Delta reps had NO idea the time of the new flight the following morning and told us all to just 'keep checking the app'. Now, fortunately for me I live in Brooklyn and could just go home. But what about everyone who was at LGA as a layover? I heard from multiple passengers they had to spend the night in a hotel, that Delta did not pay for. We finally got notice the new flight was scheduled for 9:30AM, which they AGAIN delayed until 11:30AM. Many people did not get the second change, and were already at LGA for the 9:30AM flight. To say Delta's handling of this was poor is an understatement. We knew when we got on that plane the crew was going to time out. Again, I was sitting next to an off-duty pilot who told me to 'get comfy, we're gonna be here awhile' the minute I sat down. Delta should have given us a fresh crew, or had a backup one prepared. I understand the weather is out of there control, and I understand you can't have a tired crew piloting an airplane, but there are other ways to have us take off remotely on schedule.

Pros: For a short-haul flight on a small CRJ, it was the most pleasing and comfortable flight. No delays and everyone was pleasant from ground staff to flight crew.

Cons: Gate changed in the last minute and non-English speaking wheeler chair customer (my 89 years old mother) was left at the old gate by their wheeler chair services and no agent at the gate knew about her. Both round trip flights! This is totally NOT acceptable. She could have been lost and with no ability to help herself and miss the flights. It was lucky that she found Chinese speaking customers to help her.

Cons: Delta doesn't manage their flight schedules and personnel with backup or standby crew in order to assist whenever there are delays across domestic flights. The plane was late to arrive at the gate and we were also told that while the pilot was ready to take off, we couldn't leave because we were waiting for a flight attendant to land from Pittsburgh (we were in La Guardia airport in NYC). delta would rather I convenience the flyer instead of hiring more personnel or figuring out standby or backup plans for delayed flights.

Cons: My seat was broken and when the seat in front of me reclined, it was very uncomfortable. I was just thankful it was an 1.5 hour flight and we didn't get stuck on the runway in NYC like my last two flghts.

Cons: Boarding process was ok (they bused us over to the plane and then had us walking out halfway to the plane's stairs before frantically sending us back on the bus because the plane wasn't cleaned yet). Not a big deal but we were traveling with a 10 month old so miscommunications like that cause a larger inconvenience than usual. The real downer on the flight was when we needed hot water quickly to warm our infant's bottle. The stewardess had begun beverage service and was about 8 rows away from us. My wife hit the call button, expecting the stewardness to come over somewhat quickly. Instead, she just continued beverage service and got to us about 15 mins later. By that point it was too late and the baby was wailing from hunger. When we asked why, knowing that we had a small child, the stewardness didn't just push the cart forward and attend to us more quickly, she said she didn't want to do that. No apology, not even a sense of remorse. At the end of the day, a customer's experience will always be tainted by poor service and that is what we received on our flight.

Cons: Out of all the airlines I have flown, this was quite disorganized in my opinion. The fact that I was not able to select a seat, nor did I have one assigned to me until prior to an hour before boarding, gave me a bit of anxiety. I don't think it's fair to take away this option to those that get the "cheap, standard" tickets.

Pros: From curbside check-in to landing the plane, overall excellent service ! Very pleased to find out they offered a shuttle from checkin to the gate. I am having knee surgery soon and the walk from security to gate 34 LaGuardia would have put me over the top with pain! It was a very nice gentleman that gave me a ride to the gate and even stopped to let me use the bathroom. Thumbs up *****
Cons: The fact that I was charged $150 to check a small cosmetics bag is no loose change ! I would have carried it on but my hand is in a brace and I has to have extensive surgery. Then yoy get to the gate, and they repeatedly asked for volunteers to check their bags for free. I think this is a very unfair policy and try to explain it to the curbside attendant. I literally cannot carry more than five pounds in my left hand until I get bone replacement surgery. I'm also having knee surgery soon and this small additional weight would be caused me excruciating pain ! They didn't care and still charged me $150 for a bag thats no bigger than 12 inches and weighs less than ten pounds. Thats the way you treat your first class passengers? One other quick note: the sausage and egg sandwich? that was served for breakfast was absolutely horrible! Thumbs down !

Cons: Multiple delays, from 8:15 to 8:49 to 9:05 to 9:39 to 10:12 to 10:19 to 10:25. I am not joking. Honestly, if the delay is due to 'maintenance' for an incoming plane that has not left its originating destination, why quote any time at all? The check in rep did provide an announcement at 8:15 that although the time of departure had moved to 9:05 , he did not see how that was possible since our plane was on the ground in Richmond undergoing maintenance. I was in LGA. When I heard that, I changed to another flight, so the outcome was not as bad as it could have been. I am aware of these other times since my email is packed with Delta's notifications, which I welcome usually.

Pros: I fly frequently and this is the first time I've travelled with West Jet. The big difference was the staff. Unlikely many airlines the West Jet crew - in flight and the ground crew - were all very friendly, helpful and actually seemed like they enjoyed their jobs. I called West Jet prior to checking in on-line and my call was answered within a minute by a real human who was so helpful. That's the polar opposite of so many airlines like Air Canada.
Cons: The seats are too close together but that's not unique to West Jet. And the in flight crew was so helpful that it makes up for the lack of space.

Cons: Unable to upgrade delta flight because it was a westjet code share flight, westjet unable to upgrade delta flight because it was to be done on delta servers. I was finally able to upgrade at the delta check-in counter for a higher fee than usual (ontop of the perfered seat upgrade I already paid for). I waited 1.5hrs after takeoff before I called staff for a drink. Over 2hrs before they officially started serving main cabin drinks and snacks. There was some turbulence but they could have served people by hand without the cart. They had no problem serving first class before, during and after takeoff.

Pros: Easy to change flight same day to one flight earlier.
Cons: Forced me to check in my (undersized) duffel bag carry on. Then forgot To load the bag onto the plane. WestJet cited a questionable and unlikely reason, that the bag was not loaded due to baggage to passenger weight ratio for safety reasons, even though flight was far from full with multiple empty rows. Plus there was a grand total of only approximately 12 pieces of baggage at the carousel. Also the plane’s auxiliary power generator was broken, which meant no a/c while on the tarmac before and after takeoff. Cabin was warm though not intolerable, however led to delays at both origin and destination airport due to having to wait for an external power supply truck. No in flight service due to supposed turbulence. Which would have been fine, except there really wasn’t much turbulence. Didn’t affect me, but my neighbor’s entertainment system was broken. However, these multiple issues and the broken power generator makes me wonder about what other maintenance issues have been overlooked or not addressed. Most of all I was offended by the clear lack of honesty about my baggage. If there really was a weight limit safety issue despite the plane being far from maximum capacity, then there are much bigger issues with the plane that makes me never want to fly WestJet again. But don’t insult your passengers by lying to cover up your carelessness. My baggage arrived on the following (my original) flight, but that which was delayed by nearly two hours. I’ve flown on United, Delta, Southwest, JetBlue, WowAir, AA, Alaskan, Virgin, American Airlines, United Airways, China Air, EVA, and Air Canada. So far, WestJet has been by far my worst experience.

After deplaning and waiting for all passengers without checked bags to be rebooked, we eventually were on our way by car from LGA to JFK airport to meet a British Airways ECONOMY flight with only minutes to spare

Cons: Personnel at West Jet counter did not communicate clearly and loud enough for passengers to hear compare to other persons from other airlines like Delta wherein person spoke clearly. Suggest further training on communication skills.

Pros: The cabin crew were outstanding on WS709 today. This is my fourth trip with Westjet, and today stood above. Diane was beyond efficient and pleasant while maintaining a smile and grace, while a number of unattended children were onboard. My seat was changed, and that's fine - mostly because of the manner in which the crew at Pearson handled it. Then, I couldn't resist giving up my re-assigned (centre) seat so that two sisters could sit together. The two folk in my row were lovely, they talked more than I did, but when I joined in, it was a genuinely pleasant conversation. Three strangers, meeting per chance. The woman next to me had given her seat up for a family to sit together, so it really was a chance encounter! Diane needs to be promoted!
Cons: While things happen, I wonder why when I was readied a seat, it was missed that two children, sisters, were sitting in separate rows? Should they have automatically been assigned two seats together - they were unaccompanied. As happens, an 'aunt-like' woman was seated next to them, and again, Diane was an another in-charge auntie!

Cons: - The unprofessional way the staff "sorted us out". Especially the lady at check-in. Our flight was from NY to Toronto and then connecting after a nine-hour layover from Toronto to London. On all flights, we got the seats in the middle of the aircraft allocated, which is challenging when you are on crutches. - The second flight to London was in a terribly old machine where the overhead compartments were not well equipped to accommodate my crutches. The only way they fitted was at the very back underneath all the luggage. So when I asked the flight staff to help me get my crutch to go to the toilet, as I could not get it myself, he asked: "do you really have to use it?". I considered that very rude! - The selling of the entertainment systems took forever, which meant that the food sale was very late. Almost 4 hours into the flight on an overnight flight is really late! Especially when people would prefer to sleep. Due to my medication, I had to wait for food, but it took forever. All in all, not the best experience

Cons: Even though it was the first flight of the day, WestJet still left an hour late which meant I missed my connecting flight. That meant I also had to rebook my ground transportation an additional cost. Why they couldn't manage to get the first flight of the day out on time, I don't know. This stuff happens, and I am generally a patient and understanding person. That said, WestJet not only caused inconvenience and added expense, the airline had absolutely destroyed my snowboard bag. It was damaged so badly that I had to tape it up just so I could get out of the airport without losing my stuff everywhere. The WestJet employees didn't say anything about the damage, and clearly hoped I would just go away without making a claim. To make matters worse, they only pay part of the cost to replace my luggage.

Cons: In a flight that is only 1:45, to have an incoming flight delayed by 1:45 for non-mechanical issues can create a lot of havoc. On the turnaround, we boarded and arrived very late. We missed our connection to Sydney and had to wait 24 hours for the next flight out.

Cons: Seating was cramped and claustrophobic. I'm only 5 feet tall and my legs were stiff after a 90 minute flight. "Snacks" were kind of pathetic - tiny bag of pretzels. The worst part was the crowded gate area at Boston. It made me feel like a cattle holding pen. Since we're told to get there two hours early, it would be nice to have more than a tiny little snack bar with overpriced pre-made sandwiches and salads that have been sitting out for who knows how long. Crappy lukewarm coffee. Starbucks is right outside security, but of course we can't bring liquids through.

Pros: Employee in Boston terminal great help in sign in process. Volunteer, I believe, in Air Canada terminal in Toronto helped me find my way to another terminal.

Pros: The crew at the gate were courteous and handled my inquiry professionally. Did not experience much because I slept through the whole thing. But the seat was comfortable.
Cons: Air Canada receptionist (a blonde lady) at Logan took care of luggage poorly while checking in. She was impatient and threw my luggage like it was trash.

Cons: Flight delayed out of Boston. This seems to be the normal state of things. I dont think I've ever flow this route on and had an om time arrival This caused me to miss my flight in Toronto, forcing me to spend the night. I pressed their customer service rep for a hotel, but they refused claiming it was a weather related incident and they were were therefore mot responsible. The weather in Boston and Toronto was fine and at no poi t on the flight did anyone offer Any Reason Whatsoever for the delay. Moreover when i protested the customer service agent mocked me for not realizing it was a 'weather related incident'. I spent the night on the floor on YYC. Needless to say, Ill never fly Air Canada again.

Pros: I never got in my flight home for my aunts funeral and to get back to work because nothing on your website warned or notified me that I needed a visa just for a connecting flight on Air Canada so not only did I lose my money I was denied my flight denied the chance to be at my aunts funeral and get back to work. So my honest opinion is that I am extremely disappointed and deeply saddened by this evtire ordeal now I have to spend more money to purchase another ticket with another airline to go home. Pros: My flight was delayed and I did not get my baggage when I arrive at Boston airport.. I had no clothes or anything to wear for three weeks when I got to Boston. I complain the very day I got to Boston airport. Up till now the bag I checked in at Toronto airport has not been given to me. The funny thing is after I checked in, it was not scan at any other place except Toronto. So it got lost at Toronto where I checked in. All that am told of is the baggage can not be located. Three weeks I spend at Boston, I had nothing.

Cons: Onced arrived to my Montreal destination, I get informed my bag never made it onto the flight once we connected in Boston... Now dealing with AC to get it back. Very dissapointing

Pros: The flight had to abort take off due to an issue with the pilot seat. We had to return to the gate for them to fix the problem. Left the gate a second time only to sit on the runway with no explanation from the pilot.

Pros: The tremendous effort to support our making our connecting flight.
Cons: The nightmare between flights in Toronto airport

Cons: The USB port in seat 26A was pushed in and wouldn't connect for power. Unless this was exactly the same plane it was true on both flight to and return from Boston. The LCD entertainment system is very slow to respond to touch. The default sound level is always too loud. The commercials take up the first 10 minutes (or longer) of the experience and make for an excruciating long wait.

Pros: Very nice new plane. The special "natural" lighting made it easier to sleep and wake up.
Cons: Both flights were significantly delayed and the boarding process for the flight to Tel Aviv for some reason took absolutely forever. Then we waited on the tarmac for almost two hours.

Pros: The staff was accommodating.
Cons: The flight had two legs: from Boston to Toronto and from Toronto to New Delhi. The layover was 1 hr 6 min, which was tight. After checking in our bags, we found out that the first leg of our flight is 2 hours late, so obviously we couldn't take the second flight. Looking at the TV monitors, I noticed that pretty much ALL Air Canada flights are seriously delayed. Luckily, there was an earlier flight to Toronto (which was scheduled to have already left, but it did not leave because that was delayed, too). The staff put us on that flight and double promised to make sure that our checked in baggage gets transferred to this alternate flight. The checked bags did not get transferred. When we arrived at Delhi, after an exasperating 1.5 hour delay after a 20 hour flight, the airline told us, and many others in the same situation, that our baggage did not arrive, and we have to come the next day to pick them up. The issue was, we were not staying in Delhi, just transiting through it. No luck, the airline said, because the customs have to be cleared at the port of entry. We are still waiting for our baggage. Oh, and if that was not enough, the airline allocated well separated seats for all the members of our family. I'd think it would be a common sense that people who have been booked on the same ticket must be assigned consecutive seats. But apparently Air Canada does not have much common sense. NOT flying with them ever again!

Cons: The waiting room in Boston was awful and behind security, hot, small crowded. Delayed

Pros: The crew at the gate and onboard were exceptional! At the gate they made sure I could get on this flight even though the computer auto booked me for 2 days later.
Cons: My bags didn't make it on the flight because of a close connection. Then I was rebooked on a flight 2 days later. This is unacceptable. I was expected to stay in Toronto for two days.

Pros: Bos->Toronto Good Air Canada at Boston Logan airport has there own gate area with only 3 gates. This reduces the security line for faster security check. However this also causes problems with PreCheck. See below.
Cons: Bad There is only one line for security at Air Canada Boston Logan because of the small volume at this check point. Because of this, PreCheck passages need to hold onto there bording pass as they go through security. The first security person who checks ID and boarding pass only told my wife not to take off her shoes. He did not tell her to hold on to her boarding pass, so she put it into the bin for x-ray stuff. So later security personnel then told her to take off her shoes and gave her a body scan because her boarding pass was already in the x-ray machine. I always hold on to my boarding pass thru security but had to take my computer out of my carry-on.

Cons: United needs stricter rules about boarding and de-boarding during Covid. They lag behind other airlines. De-boarding especially needs to be controlled. Very disappointed. Also, after row 21 there are no screens and you have to use your own device. Then provide outlets! Jeeze that's ridiculous. You need to have plugs if you have to use your own device during the flight!

Pros: It was a small plane. Seats we’re decent. Crew was great.
Cons: The flight was a late night flight to begin with and it was delayed because the plane wasn’t pulled out of the hangar and at the gate. Flight was delayed by more than 40mins due to this.

Cons: The flight was supposed to leave at 9:15pm and didn’t leave until 12:00 am.

Cons: I had my back and they made pay extra to check in. After inside the airplane everyone had their back back with them.

Cons: I was in coach. I am 6’2” and my legs were pressed against the seat in front of me for the full 4 hours. Uncomfortable.

Pros: On flight entertainment was nice, so was extra legroom although way too much more money for a seat one way.
Cons: Temperature was not well controlled. Stewardess was rude when asking about food and beverage. Tols is that she was only doing food when we tried to order a drink from her but proceeded to get one without hesitation for the gentleman sitting next to us. Did the same thing a second time also, just very off putting

Cons: Forcing people to pay for wifi is ridiculous, this was a cross country flight. The united app was super confusing to use. Don't plan on using this airline again, unless I have no other option.

Cons: I was told that I had to gate check my bags which had all of the necessities to travel with my child ( snacks, books, toys) due to it being a full flight. When I boarded, there were still several overhead storage bins completely empty. Very annoying. The crew could have physicallt assessed and checked before assuming due to flight capacity.

Pros: Fast and easy check-in. Attentive service. Good food. Great wine. Speedy baggage service.
Cons: TSA absolutely sucks at LGA. TSA shut down all lanes except Precheck for a crew switch, and I almost missed my flight! Awful. Someone should be fired for causing the delay today. Everyone was angry and stressed out.

I will not be flying with you guys again because no one cared that I was basically stranded in NY with no where to go and I wasn't given any options to make my trip with you guys better.

Pros: We were upgraded to first class on our connecting flight and my husband and i sat together. That made up for the first flight, because our seating separated us three, which I didn't like.

Pros: The plane didn't crash
Cons: I was originally scheduled to fly to Cleveland from LGA at 8:30PM. At 12:30PM I got a text from United informing me that my flight had been cancelled. My only rebooking option on the same day was a 9:45PM flight out of Newark. Newark is significantly farther away from my apartment (2 hours vs. 30 minutes) but I took it because it was my only option. After a 2+ hour trip to Newark and going through a disastrous check-in process I found out my flight was delayed until 10:30, then 11, then 11:41. Hardly any real announcements were made until the end when the gate agent stopped hiding. No apologies were made and wasn't even offered water for the inconvenience.

Pros: Great crew. Good communication.
Cons: Lazy airline. Wouldn't tell me before hand whether or not flight was delayed or canceled. Waited until flight was invevitably delayed before were were told it was. Cost me a day. Lost work. Asked airline beforehand about conditions due to whether and was blown off like I was a dumb person who didn't matter.

Cons: Last row smelled like throw up and crew didnt care to resolve . Then someone else came aftr people complain. Still didnt get resolved. And they gave my 8 month pregnant wife a hard time walking in front and said she technically doesnt have a disability. Worse flying experience. Then my bag was ripped half open i carasel.

Pros: The staff was friendly and helpful. A young lady on my Houston to Austin flight helped me find my seat. A young man on my New York to Houston flight was very kind.

Cons: Flight was very late. Boarding is rediculous. They load from the front of the plane and people go to the back looking for overhead storage and then try to more forward again while the people with seats in the back are coming in.

Cons: The snacks were horrible. And the fact you get a sip of a drink makes no sense.

Pros: I had a blood coat on my leg 2 months before my flight and the pain and swelling sometimes were unbearable, United was extremely accommodating, kind and courteous from the check in all the way to helping me retrieve my luggage in a wheel chair and that alone ease my pain, not having to do any extra effort was a huge relief on my legs. Definitely booking again with United and Kayak
Cons: TSA were less than basic, making me go up and down twice trough two different metal detectors and a body scan machine, then asking me to put both my hands above my head while standing up in the body scanner, a guy in a wheel chair who could only stand with a cane, these guys are barbaric but that's not the airlines fault.

Cons: the stupid old white man at baggage check in in New YOrk who was EXTREMELY rude and made me HATE flying with UNited

Pros: I arrived safe and sound. A United ticket clerk at Chicago O'Hare was super nice but didn't really help my situation. I appreciated her effort and warm demeanor.
Cons: After booking the flight I noticed that there was a 25 minute window between the time my flight was scheduled to land in my connecting city and the departure time of my connecting flight. Aware that most airline close the gate door and the flight 10 to 15 minutes before take off and the fact that it takes about 15 minutes to get off a flight after the aircraft door open, I was sure that this would be a problem. Also if I then had to change terminals that would be another 20 minutes. Long story short, I thought this was poor customer service on United's side. I called united the day before my flight and customer service rep assured me that it would be the same terminal and that these times are customary on the part of United. I then also mentioned this at the gate as well and talked to a very kind Flight Attendant. Everyone worked to put me at easy about this. My flight left 20 minutes late but made the time up while in the air. We landed I got off the flight in record time and asked a gate attendant to check my flight status. The flight and gate had been closed. They then had be go talk with a very kind woman at the customer service desk. She then moved me to a AA flight. She said "now the fate closes in 10 minutes so you probably won't make it but run". "You've got to be kidding me" i thought but she was so nice so I didn't question it... But I RAN!!! I didn't make it and AA customer service rep put me on the last flight out. I say in the airport for an extra 4 hours and ate lots of food I'm sure is slowly killing me as we speak. Happy to be safe and at home.
