The pilot kept us up today on info, the flight crew brought water & anything else people needed before take off. It was the smoothest flight (THERE WAS CRAZY WEATHER EVERYWHERE!!) but our pilots made sure we had the smoothest safest flight possible. I could go on forever! This airline went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure we were comfortable and had a great flight."

Travelers already tired and anxious about flying this only compounds the problem.They did get me a hotel room,but only issue meal vouchers one at a time. Alaska's ticketing and check in area is only manned for a short time and not on the weekend. Talk abourt a "Catch-22" I would rather have my money back than a flight voucher. I would only use Alaska if it was the only option."

Although the flight was fine the combination of these things made it a very unpleasant experience."

Cons: "Flights was delayed and connection was unable to be made. My younger brother is now im limbo in newark nj and is not getting much help at all. Very dissapointed in united. He may have to spend the night in the airport they said. Smh"
Pros: "Kelly is an exemplary employee at the United counter at Logan. She showed compassion and caring after the passing of my brother and changing my ticket . Kudos to her!"

Cons: "Were held up by TSA in San Francisco because we were not given receipt for our dog who traveled with us. (We had a 2 hour layover in SF and took dog outside the security area for relief). Then the ticket counter in SF was understaffed and it took a long time to get the receipt printed (Once at the counter the agent was very helpful, efficient and quick). Should have a pet area inside the security of airports, like Palm Springs does."
Cons: "They mis-tagged my bag and still haven't found it and have not been helpful or informative when I call to check the status"

Having paid for the trip with the Mileage Plus Explorer card, the first checked bag is free for each traveler. At the kiosk check-in at Logan, the machine wanted to bill us $25 to check my wife's bag. It took another 20 minutes to get this rectified."
