Cons: the flight was 2 hours delayed but the staff continuously kept us up to date
Cons: Wifi/tvs didn't work for a bit
Cons: Everything was perfect!
Cons: The plane was full, there were barely any empty seats. Everything inside the plane was old. The bathrooms were gross. The TV didn't work for most of the flight, and when it did start working you couldn't choose movies or shows to start from the beginning.
Cons: Lots of turbulence but our pilot handled it great!
Pros: Theres no earphone, how to watch?
Pros: Paid seat was comfortable, entertainment was great
Cons: The elder gentleman was very rude throughout the flight. Paid for front row seat mostly due to covid and he made us seat and wait for people that had a connection flight to exit the plane all the way from the end of the aircraft defeating the purpose of me buying the front row seat at $65 which was more than the seat was worth. The way the crew asked was was very rude because he stated if we stand up he would keep the door closed. I understand about the passengers with connection flight but its Jetblue responsibility to get these people to their connection but it shouldn’t jeopardize me.
Pros: Crew is nice.
Cons: Snack options. More frequencies of passing snacks. Limited options for movies
Cons: It was a 6 hour flight and I didn’t know only 2 snacks and a water were available on the plane until I got to the airport. Almost everything was still closed at the airport. We were quite hungry and thirsty.
Cons: COVID19 is over.
Cons: Maybe Food? I don't say during the COVID19
Cons: Temperature oscillated a lot,
Cons: Old planes Small screens My remote control (BOS-FLL) didn’t work Wifi was slow Old plane for such a long flight (FLL-LIM). Only snacks on such a long flight?! International should give food.
Pros: I liked the male flight attendants on my flight. They were nice and cheery and was always willing to help. The inflight entertainment and WiFi was great. The snacks were also good.
Cons: I forgot to the flight attendant’s name but she was quite rude. I traveled with an infant who required warming up of her milk in a bottle and I would ask for hot water and she failed to bring it over. I requested hot water twice. Initially when the plane was taking off- she stated she cannot bring anything while the flight was taking off but even after take off and in cruising altitudes she did not come over until we rang the call bell and another flight attendant came over. Second time mid flight we happen to ask the same flight attendant for hot water as she passed by— she nodded her head but again never returned with the hot water. Again I hit the call button and another attendant came over and gave me water. I felt that she did not like attending to the flight guests and always seemed to give an attitude. I understand traveling with a child may be hard for others, but imagine the parents who have to care for a starving baby. The flight was also a bit too warm.
Cons: Flight was late leaving Boston!
Cons: Information on delays, accurate information on where our bags were, offer to help short missed connections
Cons: Free earphones for the TV
Pros: The delay
Cons: Don’t be delayed
Pros: The crew was fine. The seat was not very comfortable. I was quite sore after the 6 hour flight. Entertainment was pretty good and I am happy it was free. I'd appreciate a better selection of current movies, though.
Cons: My SEA to BOS flight was 6 hours late; BOS to SEA departed 30 min late. It was my first time on JetBlue and both my flights were late. Not a great first impression. Also, I hate that JetBlue charges $30 each way for checked baggage. This causes overhead bins to be too full of carry-ons.
Pros: Boarding process was smooth, and attendants were kind and entertainment system seemed good.
Cons: Attendants could allow passengers to use extra leg room seats if they are empty once in the air. Would be great if the default setting for the screens was OFF.
Pros: My experiences flying with JetBlue have been consistently great! Delays happen & are of course out of the crew’s control, but offering free snacks while we waited & the efficient boarding process, along with the free movie & TV choices on the seat back screens, make the process great!
Cons: My only issues have been with LAX itself & staff there (nothing crazy, just less than stellar service & somewhat rude staff occasionally) but flying with JetBlue has been awesome.
Cons: Absolutely nothing could have been improved. Easy to get on and off. Flight attendants were AMAZING. I love flying JetBlue and the free WiFi is awesome.
Cons: It was way too hot in the plane.
Pros: Plane was clean and on time
Cons: Staff really wasn't friendly. Tv's are getting old and many didn't work. Sick of having to drag bags thru security only to have them take them at the gate.
Cons: no overhead availability due to full flight; entertainment sucked
Cons: Multiple delays getting out of the gate, no on-demand movies for a cross country flight, and a delay after we landed at a half-empty airport because "another aircraft is at our gate." Why can't you just go to an empty one then?
Pros: Fly crew were friendly
Cons: The airplane seamed VERY WEARED OUT, even the winds, when you look through the window. Crew had to beat really hard carry-on luggage containers to close them. There was a lot of turbulence and because of the visible bad conditions of the plane we heard noises from the fuselage that were not normal. We feared for our lives... when in the way for landing we were loosing altitud softly, as it should, but there was a moment that the pilot pushed SUDENLY up again in a very hard way, after a few minutes he said it was to allow more time between planes, and that we will do one more tour that will take 10 more minutes. When we finally landed people were clapping, we also clapped celebrating we were alive. I think, if Jet Blue doesn’t replace or at least FIX this kind of rusty planes, I’m done with this company. It was a couple of dollars cheaper, but, my life is worth more than this.
Pros: I liked the snack options and that the drinks were full size.
Cons: I did not like how tiny the screen was. I paid extra to sit in the extra leg room option, but when I went to sit down the screen was disappointingly different than the others. I wish I would have known this before purchasing.
Pros: Great service and smooth flight. On time, all good things.
Cons: An individual who was very overweight sat next to me and took up half of my seat as well. I understand we all deserv to ride comfortably and my intent is not to shame them. That said, if someone can’t put the armrest down I think the airline should require them to purchase both seats as it’s very uncomfortable to be in the position of having no seat for the entire ride. I’m an average sized person so it was a challenge but even tiny people deserve the full seat they purchased. There really should be a rule or something.
Pros: The Entertainment was fine and I appreciated the Captain communicating with us that there would be bumps on the last part of the flight.
Cons: This was the most unnerving, uncomfortable flight I have ever been on. I really do love Jetblue and I know that this particular flight doesn't define you. That being said I was sorry to have to have experienced this. Even sitting on the runway before taking off the ride was uncomfortable as we swerved our way to the take off position. The weather was nice and it felt so strange that were going back and forth as if the path was filled with sharp S-curves. Then the entire flight was bumpy as we went up and down and all around. I would say there was about 20 mins of smooth air the entire flight. Then there was the last 90 minutes which was absolutely terrifying. I know that the turbulence can't be helped but I do feel the Flight attendants were not very accommodating during it. I sat near the back and they just sat there and chit chatted about something they were meeting up to do later while people were up and about when the seat belt sign was on. Then there was a baby screaming for many hours and they never tried at all to help the parents or anything calm them. They mostly just sat in the back, complained it was bumpy and laughed about how people were agitated because of it. I found it to be so much more frustrating that in addition to the bumpy air, crying baby and passengers just roaming around we also had to deal with the attendants laughing about how uncomfortable we were. It was not what I have ever experienced before and I truly hope I never have to experience again on JetBlue.
Cons: The security and boarding area in Boston needs to be larger to accommodate a full plane of people and all others boarding their planes.
Cons: I never got the opportunity to fly because I was stuck in unusual traffic in a tunnel for over an hour just minutes from the Boston airport. I was later told there was a fire. I called the 1-800-JETBLUE number and I explained that the situation. The agent said that there would be a $75 change fee and at 4:47 pm there were no more flights out that night and that I would also be charged the fare differential the following day. I quickly went on line and found a deep discounted fare on United for $56! When I got to the airport there were several other people with the same situation. Not a enough agents on staff and no concern that I might miss my new flight on United. Thank Gid I acted fast and got another flight that evening or I would have needed to spend the night in the airport like a woman and her mother traveling to San Jose! Need more professionalism !
Pros: Entertainment was great. Plenty of room and very comfortable. Will be flying jetblue when available to where I am going!
Cons: The option to move to exit row if open without paying for the seat.
Pros: The TV was free, thats about it.
Cons: My plane boarded 20 minutes late. Jetblue forgot to de-ice the plane so we missed our takeoff spot and left an hour and a half late. We arrived in SLC over 2 hours late, and then proceeded to wait 20 minutes for an open gate. The entire flight I was seated next to an elderely couple that were making out literally on top of me. When placing my overhead bag, one of the straps were caught in the lock mechanism. Instead of the flight attendant moving my strap and closing the bin, she gave me attitude and told me to fix it myself. 2 hours into the flight i wished to sleep, but my television display was broken. As a result, the brightness of the screen was on the max setting the entire trip. The last two hours of my flight I spent dealing with a headache because the rest of the plane was dark, and the display was half a foot from my face. To top off my horrible experience, the row across from me, and the row in front of me, had a screaming infant which wailed the entire flight long. I will never fly with Jetblue again, and will advise anyone considering it to pick a different airline.
Pros: I liked that I arrived safely albeit it 6 hours later than I was supposed to land.
Cons: Our flight was delayed. We were not told our flight was delayed until an hour before the flight was to take off. Then they kept switching the time we were going to take off later and later then earlier then later and later. It would’ve been nice if we got an updated time that we were going to leave- just say come back in six hours rather than make us get up and get down, board the plane, then get off. and get up again then change gates I could not get any work done. I understand that sometimes schedule can be unpredictable but this was ridiculous. One plane that was supposed to leave after us actually left before us and people were getting upset
Pros: Plenty of room for legs and attention from flight arttendent regarding overhead storage.
Pros: I didn't like much of anything EXCEPT THE FREE WIFI. While it's nice to have all the bells and whistles (free in flight TV/movies, snacks/beverages, etc.), the basics need to be met too - which they weren't.
Cons: I didn't like that the plane was delayed 1.5 hours for no good reason. Why have us sit on the plane in a cramped atmosphere instead of delaying it at the gate first until your ducks are in a row? Then the in-flight entertainment audio periodically cuts out, and they were resetting the TV system over 3 times. In addition, I had requested a price reduction when I booked the flight since JetBlue's website is buggy and the price went up $80 in front of my eyes while other people booked the seat I wanted, and they weren't willing to give me anything.
Cons: It was just a mechanical issue that forced our plane to turn around 2 hours already into the flight, return to JFK, and then wait another two hours to board a new flight to go to PHX. So a planned 10 pm arrival in PHX turned into 6 am. I'm not sure there's anything that could have been done other than checking for that situation before we departed originally (if possible), and maybe being able to land somewhere closer than having to return all the way to JFK. I know JetBlue doesn't have a ton of locations or planes yet, so our options may have been limited. We did receive a $100 credit, but it was a pretty painful flight, basically turning into a red eye after departing originally at 6 pm. Again, I'm not sure if there were any other options, just wanted to report my experience. My flights have typically been on time with JetBlue and I am a Mosaic member. It may have helped if there was better communication back at the JFK airport (knowing it would be two hours instead of thinking we were getting right back on the plane), maybe we could have relaxed in a restaurant or something. It was just exhausting waiting and getting later and later. There isn't an Admirals Club or anywhere relaxing for passengers to wait in a circumstance like that. Thanks.
Cons: Normally I don’t complain, but from the jump this flight was a nightmare. I fly JB all the time but this time was not nearly as enjoyable. I asked my attendant 2 times to buy headphones. She never brought them and maybe she forgot but She sat in the front on her phone the whole flight which was just irritating. After being delayed (for no apparent reason) Then having to sit for 20+ minutes because of a “jet bridge that’s too cold” (aren’t these made for the out doors?) this JB flight was less than satisfactory.
Pros: I can’t say there was a single thing that I liked. I suppose if I had like something I would say the pizza I ate before my flight was pretty good.
Cons: I didn’t like that yet again, my flight (to PBI) was delayed for hours and then upon boarding and making it to the runway, was told that I would be getting back off the plane because we no longer had pilots. I think its good that there is a limit for the amount of hours pilots can fly but to leave an entire plane, the last flight out in particular, to have to wait an additional 2 hours to wait for new pilots is a little ridiculous to me. On top of that, I decide that I would rather go get a hotel than wait to fly out at 1am in the morning, I come to find that I will have to leave my checked bag on the plane and go to my hotel, in Boston, in 17° weather, without a coat or my toiletries, my phone charger....everything I would have needed went to PBI without me. Needless to say, this was by far my worst experience flying Jetblue. And to top it off, this was the second time this trip (flying out of PBI to Boston earlier left me delayed for 5 hours) that I felt like what I enjoy about Jetblue was not at all what I receieved. I understand that the holidays are a challeging and busy time for airlines, but it feels like PBi flights are by far the worst and that for some reason, Jetblue flights for PBI to Boston, and Boston to PBI are nightmares. Very disappointed.
Pros: I find Jet Blue to have great prices. The airplanes are clean, staff is friendly and helpful. We take off and land on time and my checked bags are cared for.
Pros: This was a quick trip to Florida for the weekend. Boarding etc. was easy and The flight was uneventful. We landed early… A successful trip!
Cons: I was traveling with a friend and we were unable to sit together.
Cons: Unfair refund policy. We tried to cancel MONTHS ahead of time, upon early departure from our Peace Corps service. I don't feel airlines should have no refund policies starting from the date of purchase. There should be a window for refunds.
Cons: I came 40min prior to my flight and found out that it was too late to check in my bag. I rescheduled my flight for $50 fee to make sure I get in in time for my meeting. When I went inside, I found out that my original flight got delayed and was leaving only 15min earlier than my new flight, which then got delayed for another 45min...disaster. Essentially, I paid extra $50 for nothing. In fact, I would have been on my original flight and gotten to my meeting in time had they not had you are on your own attittude toward customers.
Pros: Excellent service
Cons: Too long flight time I noticed the plane speed was 440 MPH most of the time. This may be the first flight I sat which was flying this slow
Pros: ground crew, pilot, flight was smooth and gate connections to Jet Blue in Boston were fantastic!
Cons: leg room
Pros: All good.
Pros: Great pilot! Awesome experience. Very safe. Pilot was diligent
Cons: Boarded half hour late. No explanation. Pretty standard on Cape Air these days
Pros: The pilot was amazing
Pros: Amazing view
Cons: Warning about what to take from carry-on, since it wasn't available during flight
Pros: Professional crew
Cons: Leg room. New planes.
Pros: Pilot did a great job, flight was as smooth as glass for the 7 of us passengers!
Pros: Such a small plane didn’t expect the seats to recline. Liked the view but Boy is it warm onboard
Cons: Not much you can change on a puddle jumper
Pros: Fun flight to the cape. Awesome pilot
Pros: I flew in from Houston, TX to visit family in Sharon, VT. The closest major airports are Boston and Manchester and both are several hours away. For a few extra bucks, I can fly to Lebanon, NH thanks to Cape Air and save my family members hours and hours of driving. Very convenient. The Cape Air staff and pilots are always super friendly!
Cons: The plane can be kind of loud; it is certainly a good idea to pack hearing protection.
Pros: Quick flight. Excellent service.
Pros: Excellent woman taking care of a delayed flight. Handled passenger and boarding process as well as check in beautifully and so kind and efficiently!!
Cons: The delay due to mechanical problems
Pros: Staff were great - courteous, professional and friendly. Plane was a fun experience as always.
Cons: Not Cape Air’s fault, but the smoky haze (from fires in CA, OR, NV) diminished some of the long views - vistas were not quite as beautiful as on past flights.
Pros: Smooth flight. Nice option to fly to small airport closer to home.
Pros: Got to sit next to the pilot!
Cons: Nothing, it was an absolutely breath taking flight!!
Pros: All except TSA check
Cons: TSA check for domestic flys
Cons: Connection booked too close. Missed flight, new flight delayed. Kayak booking does not leave enough time to transfer.
Pros: Friendliest flight crew, airport attendants and security agents anywhere.
Pros: Good people quick flight
Cons: I'm a big guy and it's a really small plane.
Pros: Crew was pilot and helpful in explaining the situation to me.
Cons: Got bumped from a flight to make way for a pilot in training. The fact that this happened on christmas eve made it even worse. Had to wait until boarding to find out that was being bumped and was told I shouldn't have been allowed to check in.
Pros: Friendly service, helpful, comfortable flight for a small plane. Good pilot, very professional.
Cons: My only complaint is when we landed in WestChester we deplaned and had to stand in the -5F wind-chill for a good 10-15 minutes while they unloaded our bags. I don't know why they couldn't have taken us inside to wait.
Pros: small plane soft landing
Cons: pilote acts like army general single pilote only air vent poor in plane
Pros: The View was spectacular. The plane was a little bit too smelly.
Cons: The View was beautiful
Pros: I was pleasantly surprised by everything! It was easy staff was friendly and the piolet was great! What more can be said! Planning on using Cape Air again!
Pros: The ease of changing flights.
Cons: Of the three women at the gate one was rude to everyone. The two others seemed ditzy and clueless. The announcements they made were incomprehensible to many in the passenger audience. There was substantial eye-rolling.
Pros: You see there was a terrible storm that closed the EIS Beef Island Airport. But because I booked through ya'll I was totally screwed. The individual Airlines are not permitted to rebook my ticket because you are a third party carrier. and You would not rebook because the airline could not change the flight status on the first plane from Mayaguez to San Juan - that flight was not cancelled due to the closure but because I would be stuck in San Juan for possibly 2 days with no money and no where to sleep, well you get the point. So InterCaribbean and Cape Air came to the rescue and after a 4-5 hour ordeal and having to travel to Mayaguez airport I am now rebooked.
Cons: Y'all and will never ever ever book through a third party again.
Pros: My first time on a such small plane and the ride and the landing were very smooth with great views!!
Pros: Ride was smooth.
Cons: No information nor staff at counter, so one was uncertain when flight would depart.
Pros: Flying over the traffic heading to Hyannis where you take the ferry to Hyannis. Experienced pilot who told us the stewardess would be passing out food after we were airborne. Good sense of humor in a 9 passenger plane.
Pros: I love the small planes and the overall friendliness of the pilot and the other employees - reservationists, ground crew, and others in the terminal. Once I landed in Nantucket, I had a 1 1/2 hour layover to Hyannis. When I went to check in with the reservationist, she asked if I wanted to get to Hyannis faster or if I had business on the island. I said I would like to get to Hyannis as quickly as I could, so she put me on the next flight which left within 15 minutes. After a long flight from LA to Boston, then to Nantucket, and then to Hyannis, it was nice to get home earlier than expected. I live on the Cape, and I love that I can fly into Hyannis. Then I only have a 25 minute ride home.
Cons: No complaints
Pros: The flight itself was good, pilot was nice, I got to sit in the copilot's seat which was fun.
Cons: At the Nantucket airport, they don't let you through security until your flight is called. I heard mine called and went up but the woman at the desk said she hadn't heard it so wouldn't let me through. Ten minutes later, I'm being paged over the intercom. Again, I wasn't let through until I tracked down someone from the airline. By the time I finally got through, my flight had gone and I needed to be rebooked. Incredibly frustrating as the intercom is the only way to know what's going on with your flight, so I couldn't look at a board or anything to know the status.
Pros: It is always a pleasure to fly with Cape Air. The staff especially in Owls Head are phenomenally nice and helpful.
Pros: It was a brief, smooth, enjoyable flight.
Cons: My checked suitcase weighing <30lbs. was not put on the plane because of a weight constraint (combined weight of passengers and their luggage). I collected my suitcase from the airport the next day. Of course, airplane safety is a must, but I saw others dealing with their luggage also having been "bumped". Traveling this way is unreliable and, for me, less than satisfactory.
Pros: The pilots were really friendly, the plane was comfortable, and the trip was short. Nice take off and landing. Very smooth.
Cons: The lady behind me kept showing my seat around and pulling on my hair. Apparently she didn't have enough room or something because it lasted the whole 45 minutes. We hit some turbulence which was pretty rough but not terrible. would have been nice to have arm rests. Also boarding and take off was late and which made me late to my appointments.
Pros: They plain didn't crash although it sounded like that was likely when we were taking off.
Cons: The lack of ear protection to cancel out some of the loudness of the small aircraft would have been REALLY nice.
Pros: Everything! Staff, captain, plane, efficiency, intimacy of the small plane. I don't love flying - it's a means to an end. But, this flight was fun. No food, but it was a 30 minute flight, so no refreshment needed.
Pros: It was a smooth ride. Best flight I haven't had in a long time
Pros: But it came on the next flight to Rutland and was delivered to my house that evening.
Pros: Good, efficient flight to Bar Harbor from Boston!
Pros: There was no food or entertainment so you should include a column in the survey that reads: N/A Otherwise excellent pilot!
Cons: It was a rain night fly.... but that is no ones' fault
Pros: Great. But you have to not be scared of small planes. The plane only seats 8 people. You can high five the pilot.
Cons: Very small. I'm 6'4" very tight fit
Cons: AIRPORT SHUT DOWN TO EARLY AND NO AVAILABLE CAR RENTAL WITH DEBIT CARD. I BECAME STUCK WITH USING TAXI CAB.
Cons: Was very disappointed. I missed my next flight in Boston because this one was cancelled 15 mins before we were supposed to take off- leaving little to no time to make other arrangements. When I first checked in I was told there was a slight delay due to 'wildlife management' then we got word that it is cancelled because of ice in Boston- it was 46 degrees. There was no compensation because the cancellation was due to weather. However, we were later informed that it was due more to lack of equipment. I have lost my faith in cape air
Pros: Our pilot, Danielle, was very professional and friendly. The flight was absolutely beautiful. The flight was 22 min in a Cessna, so no food or entertainment needed.
Pros: Old plane but great crew and smooth landing
Pros: Im usually not one to sleep on ttransport but I was very comfy on this flight and was able to sleep the whole three hours
Cons: The snacks.
Pros: The seat seemed broken. The main issue was that all shades were down. I thought when we took off and landed , window shades were supposed to be up? I felt like I was in a dark tunnel with shades down and lights the entire flight out and it was mid-afternoon.
Cons: Great flight, ontime departure and early arrival. Bags were delivered within 15 minutes of Ariosto the gate.
Cons: More legroom and monitors in the seat back like Jetblue.
Cons: Feed me
Cons: Too many travelers on the same flight, but I know its the day before thanksgiving so its the way it is.
Cons: Wifi was not functional, making me unable to do work for the duration of the flight. Rude flight attend literally stormed off mid-conversation as I was asking for assistance with wifi. And this was in FIRST CLASS. Unbelievable. And Unacceptable.
Pros: Crew were exceptional!!! Organizing the passengers and make the arrangements to meet the requirements of social distance. Bravo!!!
Cons: Cookies had a very bad taste. Water was perfect!
Pros: The crew was respectful and friendly, the seat was comfortable
Pros: The comfort of the plane and aircraft crew.
Cons: Customer service. Ridiculous when buying flight tickets, regardless the economy “restriction” if you buy two tickets together you put them together even if your picking the seats. A money scam charging more for us to pick our seats. Common sense isn’t that common
Pros: Lisa Inzerillo is amazing, I don’t know how she kept everyone happy and safe. What an amazing employee she is, please thank her supervisor for such great training and service!
Cons: If Lisa was our flight attendant on previous flights!
Pros: Entertainment was good for the length of the flight.
Cons: Delayed several times, one of which was because they didn’t have enough gas for the trip. The pilot also came in so fast and hard that he slammed on the planes breaks when landing - violently shaking the entire plane.
Cons: Sat on tarmac for over 40 min waiting for gate
Cons: They make flights to depart on time. Also they should tell anything about the reason when they are delaying four times for a flight
Pros: Left right on time and arrived at early. Relatively efficient boarding. Seats ok.
Cons: Nice to have inflight entertainment to own devices. Would have been helpful to have emails in advance letting you know what browser/app requirements are! Bathrooms are at a premium on a full flight!
Cons: Plane was delayed for 1 hour, electrical problems, which were never fixed. No entertainment no wifi, unable to charge battery on cell phone. Cabin very warm.
Pros: My legs were sandwiched behind the seat in front of me. I hate that kind of seat spacing.
Pros: The crew members were extremely helpful. It was a full flight and hard to find space for all the carry-on luggage, but an extremely helpful stewardess did a great job of finding space for my bag. She was attentive and friendly for the beverage service and really made me feel welcome.
Pros: Plane left and arrived on time. Otherwise uneventful, which these days is good.
Cons: Others got I choice of snacks. I just got a cookie.
Pros: Crew was nice. Boarding and deplaning was quick. Flight was on time
Cons: WiFi was super slow
Cons: The chairs
Pros: Pilot was very careful went around the storm that we could see from out flight nicely got us home safely. Great job.
Cons: Even though I had a priority boarding I was told that I was suppose to stay with group 5. As a BA silver traveller I didn’t get the boarding priority.
Pros: It was fast
Cons: They could have offered headphones, the charging outlet didn’t work
Cons: No complaints, great crew, great service, great flight!
Pros: Flight crew were very apologetic
Cons: Missed connecting flight from Miami. Only one flight per day. Had to take a flight to an alternative location, drive for an hour down the coast and take a ferry to my final destination.
Pros: What you expect from an internal US flight: no food, crowded flight, cramped seats. I have come to expect two things - arrive on time and arrive safely. The good, we arrived safely.
Cons: Pulled away from gate and sat on tarmac for over an hour while technical difficulties fixed. We should not have boarded until plane was ready. We arrived over one hour late and just made connecting flight. Our luggage was not so fortunate.
Pros: There was an excellent selection of movies to choose from. The seats were pretty nice and clean and modern. A power outlet at every seat, and not just USB.
Cons: Flight was delayed due to paperwork and some people were racing to their connecting flights. Lots of turbulence. The seats seemed comfortable at first, but actually hurt my tailbone pretty quickly, while the 17 hour flight we took next did not. Tray tables are the folding kind and a bit awkward. We were in the last row by the bathrooms and our seats didn't recline at all. You had to pay for any kind of snacks other than a little bag of pretzels and a package of cookies. We were in one of the last two boarding sections, and the woman letting us on the plane tried to make us check out carry-on luggage, stating that the overhead bins were full. Well, we didn't want to be without our bags for the next 24 hours, so we argued and she let us "try" to bring them on. There was PLENTY of room back there! It's just the standard line they feed, apparently, so beware if you're sitting in the back of the plane!
Cons: No message to call with passengers with kids to board first or any military personnel boarding first.
Pros: Generally clean plane with good entertainment system and technology overall. Diabetic meal much better than in the past.
Cons: Didn't announce meal choices at the start so flight attendant had to repeat herself every. Single. Row. They forgot my diabetic meal on the last part them forgot to include cutlery and it took a long time to sort out but they were otherwise lovely.
Cons: I wish there was another option for a snack. There are many companies that would probably love to advertise through distribution to airline passengers.
Pros: Nice flight, great leg room, staff was friendly and flight was on time.
Pros: Due to a strong tailwind we arrived 45 minutes ahead of schedule. Great service with attentive attendants. However the plane was older than me, no real entertainment system or outlets to plug in smart devices.
Cons: Plane needs to be retired or retrofitted to accommodate smart device charging.
Pros: The terminal seating
Cons: I am a 100% disabled veteran and I was being rushed by flight stewards with no regard to my physical limitations. I wanted to try the kayak route but after this last experience I don’t know if I’ll still with Kayak
Pros: The crew was really nice and caring
Cons: The music and entertainment collection was very limited
Cons: The plane was dirty, the window had a leak, the TV was too far away and the sound system to watch the movie was broken. When the plane is in that poor of a condition, it's time to replace it. F.
Pros: Everything great. Rate food and entertainment moderate because there was no dinner, which we did not require, and we went to sleep so didn't pay attention to entertainment.
Pros: The flight crew was professional, friendly and competent. They served the dinner as early in the flight as possible.
Cons: This was a plane with central screens along the aisle, and the airline chose to broadcast a sci-fi action movie with almost constant flashing blue light, and violent action scenes. This was first of all a movie that many people, including me, would never choose to watch, but since it was on the aisle screens there was no getting away from it. It was also unsuitable for children, even without sound. But mainly, I object to the showing of any film in that situation - only aisle screens available, and on a night flight where most of the passengers are trying to sleep. I was awakened several times by the flashing lights. Other things: one of the bathrooms was not very clean, and the plane felt like the usual cattlecar, with just 3 seats on each side of the aisle, which is unusual and unpleasant for a transatlantic flight.
Cons: I do not like that I am missed my flight and got stuck in a city without any re-embersement. I usually use United, but decided to use American Airlines this time. Sleeping in an airport tonight. Thanks.
Pros: Was on time
Pros: Cabin was clean. Flight attendants were courteous.
Cons: Their snacks were merely a cookie which was okay, but not what I would have wanted.
Cons: It was not obvious that I was flying American arlines out of Boston. I was very confy
Pros: The crew were pleasant and friendly. They tried the best that they could given the circumstances.
Cons: My flights were delayed so I missed my connection. I had to fly a red-eye from San Fran to Boston getting in at 6AM with meetings that started at 10AM...had to BUY a day-pass at the Admirals Club (I feel this could have been provided as it was mechanical issues that caused the delays). THEN my trip from Boston home were delayed so they switched me to another flight and then THAT one was delayed twice so I actually got home later than if I had taken the original flight! Overall the flights really sucked!!
Cons: they were keeping delay, delay, and delay when I was on the aircraft. My flight was from BOS to PHL on June 13,2017 was delayed and cancel then they pushed me back. They pushed my flight back on the next morning and without any apologize or responsibilities for me and I have been sleeping in the AIRPORT all night! never go to this airline again! bad and worst airlines ever!!!
Pros: Flight crew somehow noticed that we had someone in our party who could use some extra consideration. They pre boarded us as a result! They were also extra considerate during the flight.
Pros: That I got home safely
Cons: From the get go it was an awful experience ... I travel with an emotional support animal as does my husband because we don't do well with flying. I have anxiety to the max about it & my husband gets ulcerative colitis flare ups any time he's stressed out which is usually while we fly and having our dogs with us turkey makes us feel better. When I called to tell them over the phone we would have our emotional support animal I got an attitude as if I hadn't been doing this for the last 4 years. She reiterated to me that we needed in addition to the letterhead from the doctor a form filled out (which we both did ) . Brought to the airport and sit had to sit at the counter like the girl didn't know what she was doing. Fast forward to finally getting to the gate after being stressed and our flight was delayed. This now only made our 50 min layover in DC 20 min by the time we landed. We ran from one gate to the next hoping we wouldn't miss our flight and when we got there they wouldn't let us on the plane saying things like "your dogs are not on this flight" "there is no documentation" "well then you must not have the right paperwork" ... in front of a bunch of people in line, out of breath, and now embarrassed I am forced to take out my folder and give them all the paperwork I had just given to the customer service desk before our first flight. They let everyone on the plane and still made us stand there and finally said "just go but your dogs aren't on this flight". Fast forward AGAIN to sitting on the flight the flight attendant comes over and says "guys where's you carrier the dogs need to be under the seats" .. we peoceeded again to explain for the seventh time that they were emotional support animals ... she then proceeded "no they are not they are not even listed on this flight" at this point I'm EXTREMLY embarrassed because people on the plane are paying attention and drawing attention to us but not only that ... I have been doing this for years .. I ALWAYS have the proper documentation as does my husband and we have never ran into this kind of disappointment and embarrassment from any airline until now. I was so stressed out to begin with and this deffinately didn't help ... nor did it make us wants to fly on American again. I felt pushed aside, embarrassed, and belittled by multiples employees ... all because the first employee clearly made a mistake and didn't document things correctly ... that should have never been put on us .
Pros: I liked that there were no stops.
Cons: I had an instant panic attack when our flight was delayed because a box cutter was found under a seat on the flight that just arrived. I get honesty, but I was seriously reconsidering getting on the plane, because what if they missed something? I was working out in my head what would happen to our pets if we died on this flight, because we don't have a will yet.
Pros: The airplane had screens that tracked the flight progress, which was nice once we finally left.
Cons: The delay leaving Boston caused me major ground transportation problems in Philadelphia. Also boarding agents did a lousy job getting people to check their carry on bags, knowing with a full flight they wouldn't have room. This further delayed take off.
Pros: There's nothing good about AA
Cons: One of the few things SouthWest, Alaska & United did was the proper queuing of people to get into the plane. AA is a free for all - those who follow regulations will fall behind. In this flight from Boston to LAX - I heard there were 80 Priority checking - are you kidding me. Group 1 does not help if I have 80 Priority seating and one family took 12 people in with one elderly. It's good to place Elderly and Military up front first - but to take the Whole entire family - that's not fair - you have 8 able bodies who should be in line with the rest of the crowd. Also who heard of 80 Priority check ins - normally, that's Group 1. Never flying AA unless I a desperate.
Pros: We didn’t crash.
Cons: First class seat was uncomfortable and had very little padding. Meal service was not good. No drinks offered.
Pros: The crew was great as was the check in crew.
Cons: The comfort of the seat and leg space.
Cons: Less people because of COVID
Cons: Food could have been provided
Cons: I paid $100 for an upgrade on a United which turned out to be the first row, and right beside the rest room (which was erroneously showing as occupied for the first 20 minutes). The traffic made it feel like I was sitting on a bench in Grand Central Station. I chose an aisle seat but ended up mysteriously in the middle seat. I had extra leg room but if I’d eaten the free 5 pretzels I wouldn’t have been able to fit it my seat any longer. The WiFi wasn’t working for the first hour of the flight. The flight attendant got really annoyed when we didn’t look up when he came by with beverages the first time. We all had headphones on and were looking at our personal screens. The activity by the rest room was constant so we didn’t notice it wasn’t just someone waiting for the loo. The luggage took so long to come out I thought my conference would be over before I got it. Overall, I thought it was bad and confirmed why I don’t fly United. Old, dingy planes, poor service. The pilot was pleasant and communicative so there was at least that...
Pros: The crew and the entertainment were excellent.
Cons: The seating area is very tight and the aisles were extremely narrow.
Pros: Great plane and crew
Cons: Flight was delayed twice
Pros: One attendant did it all. And very well. Impressive.
Cons: More snack options.
Pros: Great take off and landing. My ears were not even plugged up after landing. Great piloting skills by the crew.
Cons: Long delay.
Pros: Salmon and rice.
Cons: Tvs not working and staff pretending as if they would fix it but actually the problem been going for a while with that airplane. The pizza should not only be a vegetarian one .
Pros: The flight from BOS to NEW was great. Great plane, great crew. The flight from NEW to BOZ was not great. The seats were not as comfortable. The staff was not helpful but the were friendly.
Cons: They skipped our row for beverage and breakfast. Never offered food. Didn't even know they were serving others. We paid for an upgrade for economy plus and got less than economy. Also the inflight entertainment was down. 4.5 hr flight and you had to pay for wifi if you didn't bring a book. 2 young kids , one phone and a long flight means unhappy customers.
Pros: Professional staff and clean seat with smooth pilot who was not constantly announcing things
Cons: Small seats
Pros: Good. Seating. Not too crowded
Pros: The flight attendants were so nice, and although our flight was delayed and hour and fifteen minutes and our layover was an hour and fifteen minutes, we were able to make our connection! Since our connection to Portland in Denver was the last flight of the night, they were able to hold it for us. This was wonderful because there weren’t many flights out that weren’t booked solid for the next day. The attendants on this flight were great about updating us with information for the connections and telling us when we would land in Denver.
Cons: The plane was delayed over an hour for cleaning. It was frustrating to say the least.
Cons: United Express flies out of Terminal A at Newark (EWR) and routinely they do not have Precheck lanes open. Despite flying on the Saturday after Thanksgiving they only had one mixed security line open. When I asked TSA they said they simply weren't staffed to have a Precheck line open. Everyone was working diligently but this happens every time we fly United out of Newark. Traveling with 2 small children it is incredibly frustrating to have to go through the full security line, take off our shoes, and take all of our electronics out of our bags.
Pros: Everything about this flight was good...EXCEPT the wifi.
Cons: Wifi is so madly expensive I will not fly United for business EVER (or a lot of pleasure--since often I have to catch up on work when in flight). Very disappointing. $40 for wifi is obscene...and the service was spotty. You know: my last few JetBlue flights had COMPLIMENTARY wifi--and it was good. I will fly JetBlue in the future whenever I need to be online. Really annoying, United.
Pros: The flight was short and sweet. However, the customer service rep checking me in at Logan could have been much more friendly. I was bringing my parents lobster from Maine, and I ended up having to check my box of lobster. I have a United Explorer card and a Chase Sapphire Preferred card and I was juggling my luggage and had to sit my money clip wallet on the counter. Since I had cash in my wallet, the customer service rep abruptly told me, “we don’t accept cash.” I have been flying for most of my life and I know that you have to pay for baggage fees with a credit card. This interaction was disappointing to say the least.
Cons: No beverage service.
Pros: The crew was excellent, very friendly and helpful. the pilot announcements were unintelligible. I appreciated that the crew anticipated that overhead luggage space would run out and offered gate checking of luggage all the way through to my final destination. I took advantage of their offer and it made my connections so much quicker and smoother
Cons: The room for seating is way to crowded, I need more leg room and don't feel I should have to pay extra for a minimum requirement for air travel. Beverages were skimpy, should be offered more often.
Pros: I loved being in economy plus! The meal was a wonderful surprise and after my tv screen was reset, I enjoyed 2 movies. Nice staff and service.
Cons: Having to go to the back of the plane for the bathroom.
Cons: The delay in my flight and that nothing was done to compensate that my entire schedule had to be redone to meet the needs of late air crafts, not enough fule and cargo doors not being able to shut.
Cons: Took 3 days to deliver my case. They have daily flights. Very poor.
Cons: Took 3 days to get home got stuck in a hotel pregant stuck between airport and planes for 2 days makes me never want to fly again horrible experience
Pros: The flight was fine once we were airborne.
Cons: The flight was delayed SEVEN times. After boarding, we sat on the ground another hour. We didn't take off until almost 5 hours after the expected departure. Baggage claim took over 30 minutes, as well, which was exhausting after midnight when we were supposed to get in at 8.
Cons: Sat in the middle of two people who took up part of my seat too.
Pros: I liked the comfort that the plane gave. I also enjoyed the fact that the crew was all very friendly and kind.
Cons: There was no music or free tv to watch on flight. There were delays due to high traffic.
Pros: Took off late but landed on time
Cons: Packed in like sardines. Hot on board.
Cons: 1. Comfort: the headrest on these seats is so uncomfortable! It just props your head forward and causes a lot of neck strain. For most short haul flights, this is not a big deal, but it really makes for an unpleasant journey on the cross-country flights. Also, the four-seat middle section is so poorly designed. There is no way to store personal items under seats without invading the space of your neighbor because the metal frame supporting the row of seats doesn't match with the seats themselves. 2. Entertainment: United could not support continuous streaming of movies/TV shows for every passenger. My movie paused and froze so frequently that I gave up on finishing it and then felt like I had wasted my time. The speed and reliability reminded me of trying to watch movies on a dialup connection. It would be so much better to just have the TV screens built into the seats. All in all, United got a bad batch of planes and should try to take this into consideration when working with Boeing/Airbus on the next order.
Pros: Flash for mac did not install
Cons: I felt like I was on my way to my death
Cons: was supposed to originally leave on Friday April 21st at 7:00 pm, was delayed until 10:45 pm, so I decided to take Saturday April 22nd at 10 AM, and even that was delayed until 11 AM. very crappy
Pros: Ease of boarding and security checking bag at gate
Cons: Check in kiosk couldn't scan phone was glad to unload my carry-on and check it for free. Should be encouraged to check 1 bag for free from start for smaller bags. Flight attendant was crabby when I tried to squeeze past into my seat. She kind of apologized by being nicer to me after that. They kind of yelled at passengers to take their seats to take off. I liked United. Too bad about the incident I read about. I was on a flight with no available seats to LA and thought someone had taken my seat. Turns out I was reading it wirong on my phone abd the last seat available was actually mine.
Cons: Flights was delayed and connection was unable to be made. My younger brother is now im limbo in newark nj and is not getting much help at all. Very dissapointed in united. He may have to spend the night in the airport they said. Smh
Pros: I have no complaints. The staff was very helpful and courteous. Flight left right on time and we even arrived in Cleveland 30 mins early. It was a full flight and was even overbooked, I volunteered to take another flight to provide room but then it turned out I was able to take the last seat. Small but clean airplane.
Cons: No complaints
Pros: Rebooking me on another flight was uncomplicated.
Cons: We had a long delay in Boston that resulted in missing my connection. I only had 10 minutes from gate to gate to make my connection. I understand that the FAA levies heavy fines on planes every minute that they are late. If so, how does it explain the delay in Boston of almost an hour? Needless to say, I was NOT happy.
Pros: The flight was bumpy but otherwise pleasant
Cons: There was a rude passenger that yelled at me as I was exciting the flight suggesting that I cut her off as we were getting off the plane thinking that I took her bag. It was outrageous and completely ruined the flight for me. I realize this has nothing to do with the flight but it just made me feel so crumby and attached that I felt the need to share it. Also the leg room was a joke. We barely had any room to move. I probably won't fly coach on united again due to the bad taste it left in my mouth. Unfortunate because it's hub is in chicago.
Pros: The staff was very friendly and accommodating
Cons: There was some sort of mix up with seat assignments two guys had the same seat assignment. The very nice gentleman who was sitting in my seat due this stood and allowed me to have my seat as it was on the isle and I was in boarding group 5 and my seat was all the way at the end by the bathrooms and needed to be able to stretch my legs into the isle. There was absolutely no leg room what so ever. The dude next to me spent the entire trip jabbing me in the side with his elbow so that he could access what little space I did have. I was unable to move my legs because every two seconds the entire plane was trekking to the back to use the bathroom, because while there was a third bathroom on the plane towards the front, for whatever reason nobody seemed to be using it.
Cons: Because United scheduled flights without regard to airport Construction in Boston my flight was changed 3 times and I still missed my connecting flight. After I missed my flight, they refused to schedule me on the next available flight even though people behind me were scheduled because they were preferred customers. They refused to pay for my hotel and the customer service was rude arrogant and dismissive. I will absolutely never fly United again. The crew on the Boston flight to Newark was lovely everything beyond that was absolutely abhorrent. We got to our connecting flight exactly as boarding closed and they refused to let 11 people board. And subsequently, United staff was rude to us saying it wasn't their fault.
Pros: Once flight began it ran quite smooth
Cons: I chose seats when I booked the tickets. So... Not quite sure how both myself and my partner didn't end up seated together, and both ended up in a middle seat sandwiched between 2 overweight people... Are you little people profiling to break up the overwhelming number of big people? another couple with 2 kids were also broken up into distant areas on the plane. I know everyone complains about so many things, and this wasn't the end of the world, but still, it's not ideal. The seating/etc seemed more disorganized than usual for this flight.
Pros: Flight staff was wonderful.
Cons: Newark Airport. The terminal was probably 60 degrees. Navigation signs were the least helpful of any airport I've flown out of or into.
Pros: The crew was fantastic
Cons: I really didn't like how the TVs were running to make you think you could watch whatever you want but then you had to pay. No one is going to pay for such a short flight, it would be really nice to offer it for free.
Pros: Finally arriving at the destination.
Cons: We were stranded in Newark with little to no air conditioning in 90 degree heat. Our flight was delayed 9 HOURS. I lost an entire day of my family's vacation because of United Airlines and their massive blunder. They said it was because there was no air conditioning, but at the same time they said their crew clocked out and we had to wait for new personnel to man the plane. I find it hard to believe that this couldn't be foreseen and avoided. By the time we finally got our crew, we then had to await for a storm to pass, and then 40 other planes had to take off first. All United offered in apology were $10 vouchers that expire in two days, and a free drink on the plane.
Pros: Except for the boarding process, the flight went smoothly, the crew was friendly and I had no problems.
Cons: The boarding process was confusing. I was issued a boarding pass with "see agent" instead of a seat assignment listed. When I saw the United agent at the gate I was told "don't worry we'll find you a seat." I was confused because I felt that I was treated as if I was flying stand by when in reality I booked my ticket in advance. Everything worked out in the end--I was one of the last on the plane but I got a seat and had no issues with finding a place for my carry-on--however, I prefer having an assigned seat to avoid the anxiety of not knowing what is going on during the boarding process.
Cons: Hour delay that made me miss my connecting flight. Customer service agent, Theresa, at the United gate was more interested in checking her cell phone text messages & handing out $10 food vouchers than the long of people who have conflicts with connecting flights or missing events in the destination they were flying to. Every minute lost could prevent customers from obtaining another immediate or comparable flight to their destination. Customer service agent sent those who were going to have problems with their connecting flights to the United Airlines service desk, of which, there were no customer service agents at any of the four available stations. I waited 10 minutes for an agent & no one arrived. When I went back to the original line I was standing in, I was forced to go to the back of the line rather than the place I was originally standing. Therefore I waited in line an additional 20-30 minutes. Once I was served they did not have any more seats available on direct flights to Melbourne. They wanted me to fly to NY, then Sydney & then Melbourne. Additionally the customer service agent did not seem confident this flight was not going to have any hiccups. Worst of all, I had been planning this trip for months & it was ruined by United Airlines.
Cons: The second leg of my trip was a disaster. Dealparture tike change 5 times from 6:50 PM to 10:15 PM. Exhausting! Then the flight attendant was aggressive and rude.
Pros: Crew friendliness
Cons: Boarding was a mess with an adjacent gate exiting at the time of boarding creating a melee of people crossing queues. You have a carry-on baggage policy - stick to it. I wasn't carrying any roll-ons or large items but many of my fellow passengers were carrying multiple items in the hope of either getting them on or having them checked for free. Complete shambles with later boarders running up and down the aisle trying to fit their carry-ons into overhead lockers. Solution: Enforce one item only; Apply free checked items at the gate early. Apply a fee for items that don't fit and were not offered up for checking.
Pros: The flight attendents were attentive and did a great job.
Cons: Customer service was rude to us about our carry on. It was fine on the way to Boston, but made to pay and check it on the way back. other customers had bags our size but we we're rudely told "you need to go pay for your bag that's it". The bag fit effortlessly in the top on the way there.
Cons: For reasons known only to them, United managed to separate the reservations of my wife and mine. Having paid for the trip with the Mileage Plus Explorer card, the first checked bag is free for each traveler. At the kiosk check-in at Logan, the machine wanted to bill us $25 to check my wife's bag. It took another 20 minutes to get this rectified.
Pros: Crew was very nice.
Cons: Plane aisle was a tight squeeze with carry on bag plus seats were very close together, and I'm a small person at 5'1". Otherwise flight was good.
Cons: Recently United decided to cancel all of their flights to Denver due to an April snow storm. United was the only company that chose to cancel rather than delay flights. Our flight was cancelled 24 hrs before any snow fell. Their solution was to offer us another flight over 72 hrs out. After spending 6 hrs on the phone with this company (not exaggerating) I feel entitled to say that this company holds zero accountability or concern for their customers. We had to spend an additional $500 to get to our destination last minute through JetBlue.
