The seat was ok, but I found the pillows to be very small and flat. I needed multiple pillows. The head rest was not adjustable, so I also found this to be uncomfortable. Usually when I fly AA, the headrest is adjustable. My final dislike was that the beverage selection was limited. I'm quite sure there was plenty of alcohol, but what about those customers who do not drink alcoholic beverages? I asked for hot chocolate, there was none. I asked for hot tea with honey, there wasn't any. So all in all my flight was okay, but that is solely because of the flight attendant and pilot. They did their jobs and they did an excellent job."

A 7-hour flight from NY to Zurich travelling with small children without the movies was not as pleasant as it could have been."

Cons: "We had seats at first where there was what looked like bubble gum bits stuck on one of the food trays. The flight was clearly not cleaned although it landed 2+ hours before the departure. We had to ask for a wet tissue and clean it up. That was of no use too as it wouldn't scrub off. My wife was feeling under the weather and so we asked for a blanket. The blanket was hardly a blanket and more like a towel. We then luckily could switch seats as there were 2 vacant. But, the air conditioner was leaking water in the seat to our left. The crew was callous and just stuck the passenger with some napkins saying it does that. I don't fly Delta a lot and my experience in this trip isn't inspiring much confidence."

It is nice that you can play movies for free over WiFi on your phone or tablet (since the in-seat system simply didn't work...), but, bizarrely, the WiFi movie selection was different from (and substantially smaller than) the seat movie selection. What's that about? And the WiFi movie scheme is way more painful than it needs to be, requiring you "check out" movies using your web browser, then switch to a separate app to actually watch the movies. Clearly the product of a company mindset whose ONLY concern is "can we check some box", with absolutely no interest in "how can we delight our customers?""
Cons: "So we get the same entertainment system all these flights use: some ghastly totally non-optimized Linux setup that was rebooted three times during the flight, took 20 minutes for each reboot, and never worked correctly after any of the reboots. (The only movie my system would ever play was the very first one, and none of the on-screen controls worked. The seat next door could choose multiple movies, but each movie froze after 40 minutes). The amazing thing is: why don't they just install a damn iPad mini or Android equivalent in the back of each seat? Would be lighter than what they have today and would work FAR better. You'd need some co-ordinating/provisioning software to provide for OTA announcements and movie updates, but basically it's not that hard... At the very least, hire a Linux-head to optimize your startup scripts! It's just sad to see this 20 minute startup process (all dumped on the screen) with its constant repetition of time-wasting startup steps that just generate errors on this plane's particular hardware setup..."

I never received an apology from anyone I encountered throughout the process, and some personnel were rude even though I was polite."

Cons: "My initial flight from PWM to DCI was canceled within an hour of boarding time, and reschedule for a whole day later. Despite calling customer service, I was offered no form of compensation or alternative route at that time. My rescheduled flight for the next day had a last minute gate change, and then was then delayed for over one hour. I wasn't alerted until I was already at the gate. On my return journey from DCI to PWM, I was not given a seat assignment, my gate was changed 5 minutes before boarding, then the flight was delayed 45 minutes before the initial boarding time. After boarding, our plane was delayed on the runway for over an hour due to a mechanical problem. I was supposed to arrive home at 11:30pm, but did not land in Portland until 1:15am. I understand that unexpected problems occur, but not ONE part of my trip went according to the itinerary. Even the adjusted schedule eventually had to be adjusted (or readjusted). Each of these schedule changes meant I missed out on some very important events. This flight was affordable, but not cheap. Had I known I wasn't able to make certain appointments, I would have reconsidered even spending the money to make the trip. I'm very disappointed that American not only did not over some form of compensation, but flat out denied me any sort of voucher when I very meekly asked. Why should I consider spending money on another flight with American in the future, when I CANNOT count on any sort of schedule reliability? Or, when things go wrong, I cannot count on being supported as a valued customer through some sort of compensation?"

Althiugh the flight is only 1.35 hours, I was surprised that flight attendants didn't even make an effort to offer a drink service. No turbulence or anything, just seems they were lazy."

I love the pet friendliness as well as every employee through United I met today from the bdl check in crew , to especially the flight crew on flight558 iAd to phx who I believe was from Houston and their Texas roots truly shined. Every crew member was Sooo attentive professional Cleanly pleasant and always smiling and happy to come around. Other crews could learn from this crew please take notice !!! I have never been so impressed (and I am a frequent flyer )"

I pay bag fees while others get free checked bags at the gates. Many people are able to carry huge extra backpacks w no enforcement from staff Slows the whole trip down"

Pros: "PRICE - fabulous price Boarding - worked great Carry-Ons - Enforcing the overhead storage only for those that pay for a carry-on is great. There are plenty of notes, emails, warnings that carry ons and checked bags cost extra. I loved not having to fight for overhead space."

Cons: "Serving a little snack is a sign of welcoming the passengers. At least they could offerONLY water instead, but that was not free a well as other snacks. The baggage check-in is a bit overpriced considering that there is a flat rate of 25$ for either a large suitcase or a normal-sized carry-on. The 25$ is only when you check-in your luggage before your flight online. If you do it on site, it costs 40$."

Cons: "I booked a round trip ticket with Frontier and on both flights the crew was rude. They need to send the flight attendants of this airline to a hospitality course or something. All other airlines I've traveled on I've never had a problem with the crew. I will stick with Delta and United from now on even if it costs more."

Cons: "Talk about hidden fees! You have to pay to choose a seat and pay for a carry on. You're allowed a "personal item" that has to fit under the seat in front of you, but what they don't tell you is that the seats are "sardines in a can" seats only about half as deep as traditional seats (so that personal item has to be smaller than you'd think). So let's talk about these seats. They are literally an inch thick. Like I mentioned previously, the seat part is only about half as deep as normal seats. It ended at mid-thigh for me and I'm short (5'3"). Accordingly the tray tables are only a hand's width, put a drink on it and that's about it."

I couldn't have my personal bag with me in the first row at all, which was hugely inconvenient. Doesn't seem like that should cost someone more, even if there is a bit of extra leg room. Nickled and dimed for everything, including carry on bag, beverages, snacks. No entertainment options."
Cons: "The ticket price doesn't include anything. Had to pay for seat. You can't have a carry on bag, you have to pay $30. 00 to $40. 00 for your carry on bag. You have to pay for water or soda etc. Nothing comes with the ticket price. By the end of the trip I paid more then if I would have gone with a different airline. Will never fly frontier again. Not worth it at all."
Pros: "I am pleased that I was able to get such a great deal on the flight. I also find the firmer seats to be comfortable.. There's no pillowy headrest to push against the back of my head. (For me this is important because headrests make my neck and back hurt.)"

Cons: "The agents at the ticket counter as well as those boarding the flight wee very unprofessional. They should be working cleaning bathrooms instead of interacting with the public. There was a manager present who acted more like a monitor than a manager. eventhough I have a return ticket, I will not use it and prefer to purchase a ticket on another airline. You can keep the money. I wouldn't subject a mango dog to your airline and service."

Cons: "They advertise really cheap flights however they don't tell you that you'll have to pay $60 for a carry-on bag. That's right.. any Carry on bags. Checked bags were also $60+. I also had to pay $50 for my "premium" seat because I didn't choose a seat at check-in. By premium they mean you get a few extra inches of leg room. On a 4.5 hour flight plus 1 hour of sitting on the runway, the only free amenity was a small cup of water. I will never be using this airline again."

Pros: "I was charged $40 for my bag, $2 for a soda that I didn't finish and my seat was $42. The 6 gate crew members in Atlanta were a joke (1 was eating a bag of cheetos). They allowed 4 people to run up the gangway to the plane without checking their tickets before the plane was cleaned from the previous flight. They had to call security to be sure the men never made it on board. They were extremely unprofessional and unorganized. Upon embarkation I had to remind her that I had a ticket that she needed to check! I required assistance with my bag, and had to shove it under my seat because i couldn't lift it. I will not be using them again. BTW, my American ticket was $26, included 1 bag and beverage service."
Cons: "I have never flown an airline that has to explain to the passengers that they must sit in their assigned seats. This statement was repeated several times during the boarding process. I have never experienced a flight quite like this one, the gate agents boarded no less than 6 or 7 times to escort people to their seats. We were over 30 minutes late leaving because of "weather" but I believe that it's code for incompetence. The flight crew were the only professionals on board. I have to say the woman at the ticket counter was quite helpful and very calm even when passengers became upset with her for charging the bag fee. The flight attendants were friendly but not attentive."
