Pros: "No surprises. On time. Courteous. I suppose the most amazing thing is their app. It tells you when your bags get on! Also I forgot that I had a knife in my pocket. I ran back to the desk and she went back, found my bag, put the knife in there. Wow. What service. Also I notice that Atlanta is a lot nicer than it use to be. Attendants are more friendly and loading is more organized. Way to go Delta."
Pros: "I loved the flight attendants and the desk staff everyone was so friendly and made me want to travel delta again."
Cons: "Delta doesn’t offer military spouses free checked bags and I found this out at the airport. It was disheartening, but at least it’s Delta and not the airline that is supposed to represent America."

Pros: "Crew was kind and helpful. Snacks were great!"
Pros: "Great flight . Even got here early"
Pros: "The outbound crew was terrific. The flight itself was fine. We even arrived early."
Cons: "Upon deplaning in Cancun, ALL passengers are put on a bus and driven far away from the terminals to an arrivals area. Those of us with connecting flights are royally f*cked at that point, especially if your connection is short, as mine was. The so-called shuttle to the departure terminals, which are entire kilometers away, was to arrive in like half an hour. HALF AN HOUR. Who has this time to spare?? The alternative to the shuttle is paying a taxi that charges a hefty fare--and God help you if you don't have cash. The departures terminal was swamped and only thru begging assistance and line cuts did I make my connection...and then only by the skin of my teeth. It was a complete nightmare."
Pros: "Really helpful staff, clean plane, attentive and easy boardiing"
Cons: "The check in was a bit confusing at the airport."
Cons: "Paid first class. Got served after people in coach."
Pros: "New aircraft A320"
Cons: "Late,"
Pros: "Smooth and on time boarding, early arrival, comfortable flight."
Cons: "1 hour flight delay"
Cons: "Flight was delayed nearly 2 hours without any compensation to the passengers. I frequently fly jet blue and whenever they are that delayed not weather related the staff frequently gives the passengers a complimentary cocktail. Also your boarding process makes little sepnse to me why board from the front of the plane more sensible to board back to front"
Pros: "Crew and landing were fantastic"
Pros: "Helpful, and kind"
Cons: "Na"
Pros: "The gate person was very accommodating"
Cons: "It was over 2hrs late due to mechanical problems. Seems to be the norm."
Pros: "It wasn’t bad or good."
Cons: "Long delay due to maintenance of oxygen masks issue. Why hadn't this been taken care of with preventive maintenance?"
Pros: "The staff are fun and friendly. One of the hostesses stepped into the vacant seat where I was sitting and stepped back further when people where pushing by. We were almost cheek to cheek. The closest I've come to a cute bum in years."
Cons: "The gratis food offering isn't healthy - those bread pretzels, versus the almond & tomato juice I had on the next flight, with ...can't remember the name."
Cons: "Seating was tight"
Pros: "They ran out of food on the plane"
Pros: "Personnel and crew handled the problem in a professional manner doing everything in their power to make the best of a bad situation. Another plane was provided within a reasonable time frame."
Cons: "Four hour delay. Boarded and then being told after 40 minutes that the problem was not fixable."
Pros: "Got grounded for five hours stuck on the plane."
Cons: "No space."
Pros: "Crew professional and courteous"
Cons: "5 flights cancelled, poor communication, total chaos in rebooking, lines 5 hrs long to get rebooked."
Cons: "They claim to be cleaning these planes but I find that hard to believe when there is Gum on the window sill. We were also delayed quite a bit in the boarding process. Also I would imagine that during Covid-19 these companies would do a better job of not overbooking flights but all of my flights with American this past weekend were overbooked. Which delayed us even longer as they searched for volunteers to adjust their flights. In today's age of technology the idea that they are still overbooking planes makes no sense to me in the slightest. I will be walking, driving or taking a boat before I fly American Airlines again."
Cons: "Bumped from first class to coach."
Cons: "WiFi"
Pros: "Crew was very nice."
Cons: "N/A"
Cons: "More room is what everyone wants. It’s unrealistic though. First class was pretty comfortable."
Cons: "The salad was included two unmentioned items that were unwelcome: bleu cheese and pasta."
Cons: "Everything, especially an AA customer representative. Very rude, inconsiderate, and unprofessional."
Pros: "Crew was great. Flight delayed due to lavatory door not closing. Then+0, 20 minutes of papaerwork. Followed by no one able to operate bridge when landed for 20 minutes."
Cons: "Delays,"
Pros: "Not happy having to spend the extra money to fly 1st class because the flight from Phoenix was so terrible."
Pros: "Crew was very helpful."
Cons: "Because our first flight was delayed over 4 hours we missed our connection and had to be re-booked on the only other flight that still had seats that day. We had previously booked and paid for Main Cabin extra seats in the second row that included extra leg room and free drinks. We ended in an airplane with two exit rows, one near the front and the other near the back. Our seats were right behind the rear exit row in the back of the plane. The seats did not recline and there was limited leg look because the exit row seats were aligned differently due to the crew seat next to the door. Also, the bathroom was right in front of the row in front of us and so it was busy, noisy and smelled. Obviously we didn't get our free drinks either. Now I'm having to fight with American trying to get a refund of the money we spent for the Main Cabin extra fees. The fun never stops. I will never fly American again."
Cons: "Paid for upgraded seat with complimentary drinks that I still got charged for."
Pros: "Staff were friendly and efficient"
Cons: "No snacks because of short trip, so can’t rate properly."
Cons: "They lost and cant track my baggage. Very poor customer service."
Cons: "How does a ground crew not know a plane is coming in late. How is there no one here for baggage. It's a joke."
Cons: "inadequate ventilation"
Pros: "LOVED the spacious leg room on that aircraft!"
Cons: "The lady beside me and everyone else listened to her audio book."
Pros: "Entertainment options."
Cons: "This new low life category where you cannot even pay to be treated like a human."
Pros: "It was as good as one has gotten used to"
Cons: "It was only as good as one has gotten used to"
Pros: "Seats were nice, service came pretty quickly considering the size of the plane, boarding went reasonably quick"
Cons: "Started boarding and didn't announce another delay till we're on the aircraft, sitting in the gate for an hour and a half. My audio jack was broken and regardless, it will still trying to charge me for everything even though i was force to be squashed between two people who are also frustrated about sitting doing nothing."
Pros: "None of the experience was pleasant"
Cons: "First flight was delayed causing us to miss the 2nd flight and we ended sleeping on a chair at the airport waiting for a morning flight. AMERICAN AIRLINES didn't even have the decency to put us in a hotel for the night due to their delay. Then they added a 2nd lay over which was delayed for hours also. Traveling was to visit my mother who had cancer and I was sick so this made the trip even more distasteful."
Cons: "Never got to take flight. Concerned now that I will lose EQM, EQD from flight because AA rebooked me on DL. Also, original flight was in F. AA rebooked in DL in economy all the way. So I paid F fare for economy flight."
Pros: "Attendants are always friendly; always a peaceful travel event"
Pros: "Travel time"
Cons: "No snacks on flight. The charging stations come in between legs space and very uncomfortable they got to be re adjusted. Make sure these are taken care in upcoming flights."
Pros: "it was a bit bumpy all the way to NOLA, but we still got drinks and snacks, and flight attendants were very nice"
Pros: "pleasant crew"
Cons: "CRJ900 is a small plane. no WiFi"
Pros: "Plane was newer, had TV/interactive entertainment centers in the back of all the headrests. Crew on board was polite, cheerful, & friendly. Excellent service from the on board staff. Plane had WiFi & plug ins to charge/use items"
Cons: "Almost missed our flight home because American Airlines lost/screwed up our round trip tickets. We were not able to check in quickly or efficiently, & service was appalling, staff was either poorly trained or uneducated. We tried using the kiosk to check in, to avoid the long line. That didn’t work, so we found help. They told us to retry, wasting time, finding out what we had already informed them of. They passed us off to another gate/service counter, who’s line was closed off. So we had to duck the divider. They then redirected us to the kiosks after we informed them it couldn’t find our reservations, so they tried (wasted more time) failed & sent us back to the line we were already in. After that wait we talked to the person at the desk, who also couldn’t find our reservation. They said “I don’t know it’s not in here, what do you want me to do?” I had to tell them to call a manager to get it fixed, we were going to miss our flight. They called & found the problem, then at 3:15ish reissued us tickets for our 3:30 return flight. Still had to get through TSA! There was also NO phone call to hold the plane or to arrange an airport people mover cart. They talked with the TSA agent who told us to go 2 checkpoints down where the line was shorter. So the American Airlines attendant told us to run. Turns out in Miami Airport there is almost a quarter mile of poorly labeled counter space. Went through TSA having 12 min before our reassigned flight left. TSA was helpful, & did their best to get us through quickly. We were then informed we were near gate 22 & our gate was 3, so rushing down another concourse we barely made our return flight home. Where we were forced to check our carry-on. My girlfriend was crying, we were sweaty (from hustling when we never should of had too), hungry, embarrassed, enraged, & not sitting together for our 3+ hr flight! Unacceptable after a 4hr drive to the airport in traffic & returning the rental car at 1:40!"
Pros: "Left on time"
Cons: "Some glitch said the flight was delayed, when it wasn't. Good thing I checked with the Check In Counter."
Pros: "The movies and food"
Cons: "The cabin temperature was freezing both ways to the extreme I had to cover up to my neck with a blanket for 8 hours."
Pros: "Cheap fare"
Cons: "American advertised free TV and movies streamed to your device via a card placed in the seatback pocket and in the flight attendant's announcement. Although the card stated, "This Flight. Free Entertainment..." I was informed that there was, in fact, no such feature."
Pros: "Bad weather came in n I was rerouted on Time"
Pros: "Cabin was clean. Flight attendants were courteous."
Cons: "Their snacks were merely a cookie which was okay, but not what I would have wanted."
Cons: "Middle seat and one of the last ones on. Enough said"
Pros: "Liked that one of the flights ha a usb connection to charge my phone"
Cons: "It was slightly more cramped in the seating and it was very warm for the duration of the flight"
Cons: "Again American Airlines was LATE. It was boarding time and no agent was at the gate. 10 minutes past boarding time the screen shows that the flight is delayed 25 minutes... but wait, there is still no plane at the gate! After 45 minutes the plane arrived, again had to be "cleaned" and prepared for flight back to SF. Customers were told the flight was delayed because Air Traffic Control issues in SF, but there was no plane in sight... Again I felt we were being lied to. The plane was filthy with garbage everywhere still. I will never fly American Airlines by choice!"
Pros: "I made it safely to my destinations and in a timely manner."
Cons: "The lack of space to breathe. Being herded like cattle to our seats. The fact that in flight service BARELY made it to the back of the plane before we landed."
Pros: "The entertainment system. It was awesome. The crew was friendly."
Cons: "Nothing notable."
Pros: "Pilot was very communicative, which was great but plane was 1 hour late and we had a mechanical problem while taxing, pilots fixed it while still on the ground. Not their fault those planes are 35 years old, come on!"
Cons: "Stop flying MD80's, please! 35 year old planes!"
Pros: "I suppose the food / wine was okay."
Cons: "The plane was one of the oldest I have been on in years. The center aisle overhead bins were not even big enough for luggage and there was one TV every 5 or so rows. We were at the mercy of the crappy movies American Airlines chose for us. Most flights these days have individual entertainment and at a minimum room for luggage. The plane was old, dirty and not up to date. Never flying American again. Extremely disappointed with the service on the flight, as well. A little more than halfway through the flight, the woman in the row next to me began reading the airline magazine. Her window shade was up and the sunlight caused a horrible glare on the magazine pages that beamed like a laser over everyone near by. My friend seated next to me and I both have extreme sensitivity to light that causes migraines. I asked the woman to close her shade which at first she did about an inch or two. This didn't do anything to help the glare so I asked again and she refused to do anything more. I explained it was giving us migraines and she didn't seem to care. I asked the flight attendant to help navigate the situation, which was just as useless. She said she could ask but not force her to close her window shade. While I understand that AA can't control that some people can be selfish, I find it incredibly hard to believe that the crew can't intervene when a passengers actions are making other people physically ill. Our only other option was to be relegated to the last row, next to the crews stinking pile of garbage that had been accumulating for the first five hours of the trip. Almost every crew member we interacted with was completely apathetic to the situation. We spent the rest of flight nauseous and with splitting headaches. But I sure hope my row mate and fellow human being in 32A enjoyed the article about the dinosaur flea market in Bolivia This entire situation could have been mediated by the flight attendants who chose to disengage. Furthermore, when we were deceding to land, overhead bins were still open, and people were starting to stand up to gather their belongings in the overhead bins. Again, the apathetic flight attendants were no where to be found. Overall, disappointing experience. Glad to never have to fly them again."
Pros: "The flight assistants were nice"
Cons: "The entire flight from Miami to New Orleans, the ac felt like the heater was on. I was sweating and felt nasty."
Pros: "Easy to navigate site. Was given Pre-check on one leg, which was nice."
Cons: "Had to purchase a seat on one leg, resulting in an extra $12. That was a surprise."
Pros: "Captain and crew were capable and friendly."
Pros: "I loved the price more than anything else. All the staff were friendly and professional. Every flight was on time with no delays."
Cons: "The flight got late and then were told its early And I literally had to run terminals after Finding out that my luggage was still missing. It's been two days and I haven't got my luggage yet"
Pros: "they cancelled the flight and they did not say anything, then the crew in the airport were very rude with everyone."
Cons: "seats were very uncomfortable"
Pros: "I like the seat is comfortable, I have enough legroom everywhere (by every seats)."
Cons: "I didn't like the snack what I get."
Pros: "I sat in seat 2A. Excellent food and service. Flight was smooth."
Pros: "power outlets & TV"
Cons: "crew was cranky"
Pros: "Very smooth, through customs, getting luggage, etc."
Cons: "seats were rather cramped. Food wasn't very good"
