I was connecting from Atlanta to Chicago to get on this flight. Unlike other airports I've been to, I didn't need to go through security check point which was very convenient and very efficient. I'll use Chicago O'Hara to connect from now on.
I am request a total refund and suffering. Fight JL7519 from Miami to Los Angeles on June 9. I paid my Covid test $300usd (antigen then PCR). I also booked three Hong Kong Hotels. W's Hotel, then Homy inn North point. The last Hotel was with Japan agent, he said Regal Hong Kong is "fine" but after I booked and paid the Hotel. Then the Japan airlines said "no". I lost my non-refundable hotel money and didn't get the ticket to go to Hong Kong. Overall experience from checking in to boarding off - everything was painless and comfortable. Nice treatment. Special meals was good. Nothing to complain about. The seats were quite comfortable and had ample leg room. Will fly again with them,

Crew is a little too efficient- got woken up 90 minutes before landing to clear the mattresses. Lots of announcements- a bit too much. On time, and quick to respond to requests. The flight had numerous crying babies on it, it was warm and stuffy once in flight, the crew brought you meals you didn't have a say in ordering and having to sit for an undetermined amount of time with the used tray in front of you really made the modest space even more so. I love JAL but this flight was not one of the better ones for me. Not through any fault of the staff, they are top notch, but certainly this flight ranks as just "okay"."

No drinks offered, not enough chairs to sit and wait......etc The main blame is to put on Geneva Airport Authorities. Not dramatically different, but the little things add up. Back support in the seats are vastly improved. Under-seat storage is actually usable for a change. Overhead bins are capacious and easily accessible. Great choice!"

Didn't have the courtesy to alert us to our baggage terminal. I don't think I will ever get used to paying for my small bag to be stowed rather than fill up the passenger area."

My son and his GF did not have TSA pre-check, yet they went through security much faster than my wife & I. 3. Seats too narrow. It was right side bulkhead on 2-3-2 configuration. There was no way to stretch out my knee. The configuration of the inside of the aircraft placed the bulkhead wall too close to the seat. My leg was at about 70 degrees the entire flight (0 degrees is completely straight). Notably, the same row on the left side of the plane had about another 12 inches of leg-room. That's just the way the plane was configured. 5. No WiFi 6. Entertainment device rip-off. I wasn't interested in renting an entertainment device, but I was offended by their offer. If you signed up for it at the desk before boarding you would pay $15 and would get the device 20 minutes after take-off. If you waited until you were on the plane you would pay $17. The worse part: YOU WOULDN'T GET THE DEVICE UNTIL 2 HOURS INTO THE FLIGHT!!!"

Cons: "So cold! I asked 4 times for the temperature to be adjusted. Each time the crew member said that the temp was adjusted, and it would be getting warmer. Let me be clear: IT NEVER GOT WARMER! Furthermore, Hawaiian Airlines had the nerve to charge econ seats $10 per blanket. Even for babies! And we even heard a toddler say, "Mom, it's sooooo cold!""

USB plug did not work in-flight and it seemed super bumpy from start to finish. Not sure if it was because it was a much smaller plane, but I fly generally 2ce a week for work and this was by far the bumpiest and wobbliest(not sure if that is a word..haha) I've had this year. Also, in Albuquerque the gates shifted from what was on the boarding pass to what was in the terminal which caused some confusion. Then landing in Austin for my layover to Tampa the flight was delayed and then back on time on the in-app boarding pass, the gate changed too and when I got to the gate my flight was not posted. I thought I was going to miss my flight because it was supposed to have been boarding right then and I couldn't find the gate for my flight. Finally someone showed up to the desk and I was able to ask, and she confirmed that it was that gate and was delayed. There were several of us going to Tampa that were a bit stressed and confused. After all was said and done we were delayed about an hour, but it was the confusion that made things so much more stressful. I like to fly American quite a bit, and have a MC as well, and although there have been some delays, which I understand will happen, I haven't experienced this level of confusion.
Same as above. American Airlines is an absolutely the worst run airline I have ever used. There was no one at the gate in the first airport to help us. Whiplash from the emails about the flight time and no one was able to give us a definitive answer. Had to cancel our flight to charlotte, never even got to make it there. Big thumbs down to American Airlines.
Flight got canceled due to weather. Stranded in DFW with my elderly father. Will flight again with AA out of necessity but they offer a terrible service.
Columbia has a small airport with very crowded terminal. Plane’s WiFi was not working so NO entertainment. Sad excuse for an American flight. At least it was quick.

Since it was a night flight and overhead lights were off to prevent disturbance, I needed to use reading light. Well, the reading light was not working. I called a flight attendant to assist me. She tried to help me, but confirmed that it was out of order. 4) There was not information regarding terminal for my connecting flight. Captain kindly referred us to look up this information on our individual screens. Mine was not working, neither was the screen of the passengers next to me. Not helpful at all."

Group 1 does not help if I have 80 Priority seating and one family took 12 people in with one elderly. It's good to place Elderly and Military up front first - but to take the Whole entire family - that's not fair - you have 8 able bodies who should be in line with the rest of the crowd. Also who heard of 80 Priority check ins - normally, that's Group 1. Never flying AA unless I a desperate."

Cons: "Attitude of many employees--" tough on you, suck it up. stuff happens". poor communication re flight change, rejection of AA Advantage Mastercard to pay for baggage check and get boarding pass and seat assignment. Rerouted me by 200 yards to TSA checkpoint I could see was 30 yards away. When flight arrived in SFO the arrivals board never showed it and there was no carousel shown for checked baggage. I finally had to go to customer service, where attendant just pointed to my bag on the floor with lots of others from the flight, shrugged, no apology, and chewed her gum a little faster before turning her back."
Cons: "Barcelona airport boarding area is a disaster. Poorly designed and not travel friendly. Very minimal choice of movies on the plane."
