The aircraft problems overheated engine, caused us to get out of the plane, move all luggages and wait foe a new plane that also had to be cooled off before reboarding. We were tired and hungry. They wouldnt tell me what was wrong, and i didnt want to chance that it was the last dlight to Oakland and went with Stockton. The flight was good, you have to pay for your water."

ALLEGIANT SUCKS from its nose to its tail fin."

On top of this, most of the seats did not recline and had very little padding.........I guess you could pay for reclining seats. Although the Exit seats were empty, you could not sit in them unless you paid for them. My wife's reading light did NOT work.......I guess she didn't pay for the light!!! The flight attendant apologized and said it's been on a work order to fix and offered to provide another seat ONLY for her!!! I'll NEVER fly Frontier again."

I got a cheaper flight than the competitor and then they charged me for everything they could.30 bucks for luggage under 50lbs, an extra 40 for a single pound over 50. 40 bucks for a carry on and no free drinks but they will pour some water into a cup for free. I spent the extra money for the front three rows because I'm 6 feet 4 inches and there is extra leg room in the front. I get there and and they say "oh, those are reserved." I said "yeah, I reserved them." I get screwed out of that seat so they try to give me a credit for an airline I will never use again. I got my 30 dollar luggage checked in for free instead of the 50 dollars I spent for the seat. Then!!!!... The SAME thing happened on the way back!!!!! The seats are comaparible to a 100 dollar go cart seat and I had to become a yoga master to use the bathroom, which is due to my height but just icing on the cake or dirt on my mud pie. Spent the extra money on free luggage, padded seats and competency."

The previous 7 times I've flown since my injury each and every airline has given me priority boarding AS WELL as priority seating with more leg room. I cannot bend my right knee enough to sit in a regular airline seat. The entire 4 hour plane ride I was in pain and had to consume more then normal pain medication to make it through the flight. It's absolutely unacceptable in 2016 to comepletely disregard persons with disabilities when it comes to flying. I plan on writing a letter to Frontier airlines, as well as any affiliated companies they work with. I will not rest until it's assured this does not happen to anyone else."

Cons: "By the time I paid for all the "EXTRAS" like checking one bag and a seat with some leg room, I could have bought a ticket on Southwest. Again this is not an airline for someone like me and I really miss Midwest ."

Cons: "Paid for a seat but unfortunately only had about 3/4 of the seat available because of the size of the person next to me. Asked the attendant to let me sit in one of the Exit Row seats that were ALL available as no on wanted to pay the $50 upgrade charge. I made this request AFTER the seatbelt light was off to not be disruptive. The attendant finally came by and offer a free drink for my inconvenience which I obviously refused as that would not help the fact that I was having to either sit sideways or lean all the way forward for a 3.5 hour flight. I explained I was not looking for a free upgrade, just to be able to get what I paid for. I do not blame there person that was sitting next to me, but the crew for not making arrangements when the customer boarded the plane. Anyone could clearly see there would be an issue with this person in a full row. Instead they ignored it and expect someone else to pay for an upgrade to solve the problem. That was my first Frontier flight and will be my last."

Cons: "The flight attendant was laughing during the safety speech, which was a little discomforting if you like to feel as if you may make it alive. If you like to not move your legs around or not be able to recline slightly while in an air plane, then this is your airline. The flights are cheap but they forgot to tell you they charge for one carry on! You might as well fly with a legitimate company and not end up paying the same price if not more because of all the "fine print". The saying goes "buy cheap, get cheap" but this airline is a little out of control."

Cons: "I had a 7 am flight The boarding pass I printed the night before would not scan so I could not get through security. I went back to ticketing to print from a kiosk and that wouldn't work either. I got an error message. Finally I waited in line for a ticket agent and by the time I got to her I has missed my flight. The next flight they had was at 6 pm, which would mean missing all the meetings that I was flying to attend in the first place. Since the failure to scan was their fault not mine, she refunded the ticket cost and I booked a new flight on Southwest which has about 10 flights a day to my destination. I was 3 hours later arriving than I had planned. Why don't they provide mobile boarding passes? My only option was to print out. But maybe that wouldn't have worked either."

And we got there safely which was the main thing I suppose. Although they're nice I will pay for better next time."
Cons: "I flew an airbus 320, and these seats were much more comfortable than the flight I had just got off (airbus 319 for a five hour flight). The seats on the 319 were awful, but these were better. Spend the money for the bigger seats if you can because there is seriously no room to move. It was impossible to even try to nap on my red eye which sucked."

Cons: "This trip was lousy. The ticket taker called everyone up to board 45 minutes early and the plane wasn't ready to board. The on board process was lacking in courtesy. The seats are WAY too narrow. I had an aisle seat and the stewardess knocked me in the head every time she passed which was over 30 times. The pilot announcements left me concerned for my safety. The flight attendants were required to yell annoying advertisements for 15 minutes even though the flight is only 75 minutes. And some weird teen sitting behind me kept putting his head between his knees and head butting the back of my chair. Flight crew couldn't care less. The best part of the flight was getting OFF!"

Months later, Spirit Airlines decided to change my itinerary, which got me home 12hours later than I additionally booked it to be. I also did not appreciate the 4hr layover flight-change that was made for me. And don't even get me started on the rest of the reasons why Spirit Airlines sucks!"

Pros: "Customer service in Manila speaks with heavy accent talks so loud. Do not undestand what they are saying. Then they became rude, asked for supervisor, they refused. Oversea customer service may be cheaper labor for the co, your customers have hard time understanding them. How can we use spirit? My mother handicapped senior ended up missing the flight because customers service put on a hold for 75 minutes. I called them to speak to a manager refused first time then put me on hold for an hour. I will put this terrible process experience on google, so people should, must know especially if this is concerning children or elderly seniors. The higher management should acknowledge and be accountable for people suffer great deal."

Cons: "TSA made me go back to the ticket counter to get a printed boarding pass, because a digital copy was insufficient. Hopefully Spirit will be able to send digital boarding passes soon."

First time I flew spirit they cancelled my connecting flight, escorted me out of the terminal, stood in line for 3 hours to be rescheduled to a flight the following day. They put me in a hotel an hour away with a shuttle that ran every 2 hours so I was able to sleep for 3 hours. Second experience... 5 hour delay from 730p to 12:30p departure. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. Never booking spirit again. Absolute garbage airline."

Pros: "Everything! 1.Cost of flight 2. Was running a little late but was pulled out of a huge line to be placed upfront because my flight was about to leave.. advise, don't take it for granted be there early. 3. Had been told seats were uncomfortable but they are not. Will definitely fly with Spirit again!.. For those who gave bad reviews, you just didn't do your homework! Advise for newbies like me.. Book your flight online, pay for baggage online, get your boarding passes online all at once I guarantee you, you will save tons!! Not true that website is a disaster, just read carefully and follow instructions because they guide you step by step, I'm not a computer savy but I know to follow instructions.. Try it you will never want to pay hundres of dollars more elsewhere!!"

Cons: "High surge charges, seat was very uncomfortable, they did not provide anything to eat"

Pros: "I liked that all the information about pricing and boarding was on the website, and was easy to find, although I don't think most people would check this out before purchasing tickets. The loading was quick and easy. Our first plane was okay, the second was newer and more comfortable. Really efficient flight for shorter trips."
Cons: "I didn't like the price for a carry on - each way. Making your savings a lot smaller. Fortunately I checked the site before hand and realized I would have to pack light for the trip, because it was $35 each way for a carry on. I could have gotten another flight closer to home for $70 more. It all worked out though, just make sure to research ahead and compare pricing with the extras in mind."

Cons: "I have not yet boarded. Should be there by now. Still sitting in an airport."

Cons: "Waiting for 2.5 hours only to hear my flight was canceled. Also, standing in a line or hundreds to not get rebooked was also not fun."

Cons: "You think you are getting a good deal but they nickel and dime you for everything. They charge $40.00 for carry on and that's if you paid online otherwise at airport it's twice as much. The plane broke down at take off...took them forever to have a mechanic look at it once we got back to gate. Had to de plane and wait 30 min for them to cancel flight. All 200 passengers were sent down to ticket counter where most of us waited for 5 hours or better bc they were understaffed and EVERY person who walked away was very upset. Wouldn't refund all of fares people paid and many of us couldn't get onto other flights. I have never experienced any thing like it in all my years of travel. Was at airport for 7 hours. Unacceptable! Dispicable. Was my first and last experience w Spirit."

Pros: "Boarding was efficient and planes are pretty clean."
Cons: "I didn't like the fact you have to pay for hand carry. That makes no sense to me and is misleading with your plane fares. The new planes have no seats that recline even though your take off and landing instructions call for having see in full upright position. It is always in that uncomfortable position. And the tray tables are way too small. you can't fit anything on there except a glass. For someone who travels often Spirit Airlines would definitely be my last choice. I definitely wouldn't recommend this airine to anyone."

Cons: "Will never fly Spirit again. Poor customer service, an awful website and brand, and charged extra for a seat AND a carry-on. Which is fine if I knew that when the ticket was purchased."

Pros: "It was my first time flying and I had no problems with boarding or late flights. Everything went smooth and I had a great experience for my first flight. I would take Sprit again if I could fit all my items in my personal carry on that is free of charge. If I need to pay for any other carry on or check in bags I might want to check out a different airline. Overall great experience. Seats had a lot of room and the plane was pretty clean."

Pros: "I arrived alive."
Cons: "Flight took off early and I was rescheduled to another flight missing a funeral. Spent 4 hours on layover in Vegas only to find out that flight was delayed for an hour. Spirit airlines charges for EVERYTHING including water and cary on."

Cons: "All flights were late at least an hour and the seats were not clean."

Pros: "It was cheap for a last minute flight."
Cons: "But, there were extra fees at the last minute that did not expect. I spent an extra $100.00 for my carry on, misc. fees and for my seats. I wish Spirit would have told me about the extra fees when I booked the flight!"
