So we up graded to first class on this return flight. Is that the only way to get out of being profiled to sit in the rear of the plane with the crying for three hours?"

Raked me over the coal, and created an endless catastrophe, needless to say barelly made it out of mexico. Good thing is, card worked to get me the hell out off there. BYE BYE PUERTO VALLARTA. Had to rob the bank just to get the heck out of there, but was never so happy in my life when the plane started take off. Never again"

After already spending 10 hours in ATL because of an earlier delay due to human error I was extremely disappointed in Delta that my flight out of Atlanta was delayed by an hour because they LOST the plane and couldn’t find it or the truck to bring it to the gate. This kind of error on Xmas eve is embarrassing. Delta didn’t do anything for the passengers affected by this. I was dumbstruck by the apathy of the Delta employees at the gate (the exception was the flight crew, who tried to get the aircraft there earlier). Because Delta did nothing but make error after error I arrived at home 11 hours later than my original flight was booked for on Christmas Eve, missing Christmas Eve Services and family traditions. When I need to get somewhere on time I’ll never rely on Delta after this experience."

Food was not very good a croissant with a small piece of meat and a small slice of cheese in it. Once service began, those of us seated in the middle of the plane could not get past the carts for at least 30 minutes to use the restrooms. Overall, I expected more from the country's principle carrier."

Aeromexico is bad at enforcing sitting zones. One of the worst ones to do so."

Tacha and avianca airlines are also great alternatives for traveling to Peru. If you don't mind connections. For a straight flight try LAN for flying to Lima Peru they are the best."

Cons: "Wihout question, the most uncomfortable seat ive ever been in. It was obviously a newer plane, long haul flight, and thw configuration maximized space for more passengers. Width of economy seat was tightest I've ever experienced, with the arms of the seats literally right at my legs, nearlt digging in. The leg room was very short with my knees nearly touching the back of the seat in front of me. When i put my tray down, it actually rested on my knees, and was not level because it pitched up due to longer legs (and I'm only 5'9). This was a long haul, 8 hour flight. I've never beeñ so uncomfortable on a flight in my life, and have never counted the minutes I could get out. Seemed obvuous that meal service had taken a hit when corporate looked for places to cut expenses, its one of the lower quality meals. If compared with an international carrier, the food was really sub par. Mostly really friendly crew members, unfortunately, one who really didnt seem to enjoy the job any longer."

Cons: "Flight from Columbus was delayed due to crew member family emergency. AA said I would miss my connection in Charlotte. The only alternate connection was too late to complete the trip. I nearly canceled the trip. I reboarded and made my connection with 10 minutes to spare. Also, my destination (Greenville) was only 90 miles from Charlotte, the connecting airport (unbeknownst to me). AA should have offered the option of driving to my destination."
Cons: "Sat on runway for 30 minutes before the announcement was made that the First Officer had called out. Deplaned. Then once we reboarded an 1.5 hours later, we sat on the runway for over 2 hours waiting to be deiced, then waiting to take off with absolutely NO TRANSPARENCY from the crew or the pilot. We were updated ONCE every HOUR. I missed a day of my vacation because a crew member didn't arrive on time. UNACCEPTABLE."
Pros: "They refunded my ticket (although I spent over $65 on cabs to and from the airport)."
Cons: "The flight was delayed by almost two hours - I knew I was going to miss my connection before I even left my airport. They told me they could not put my family and myself in a hotel and that we would need to take another flight the next day that had ANOTHER layover."

Pros: "The staff was very helpful in assisting nearby patrons, attentive to the people with disabilities, and carried through smoothly."
Cons: "Few staff people were clearly having an off day and seemed very unfriendly and crabby, especially obvious when almost everyone else was so friendly and attentive. Makes them stick out like a sore thumb."

Cons: "Temperature in the aircraft was extremely cold and when I asked the stewardess for a blanket one asked the other if there was a spare blanket and very bluntly answered no. Only toilet in economy class was cloughed up and was not functional therefore a very disgraceful situation, they sent me to the other toilet in 1st class area and there I notice several blankets on empty seats after I was told there weren’t any spare blankets."

Cons: "Price tag to travel within the country was more expensive than transatlantic flights despite leaving from a major hub. Wouldn’t allow carry lbs either. If you’re going to fly basic economy, might as well just do spirit and save several hundred dollars."

Cons: "I’m a tall person so sitting through a 9-hour flight was hard for me. I tried to go to sleep but leg room was an issue. I sat in the middle row in the back center section of the plane."
Pros: "Great customer service, very friendly and helpful. The whole experience went considerably better than we expected since we did not know how our son was going to handle it. All in all we were very happy thanks to the wonderful AA staff that helped us at each stop."

Pros: "Started when 7 am flight from Knoxville was delayed - multiple times until finally at 4 PM there were no options. Nobody with AA saying a single word all this time even when asked. Finally called their customer service line only to learn that I could get on another flight that left in a few minutes. Door was still open but gate agent argued with the lady on 800 line about who could ticket faster. By time they finished arguing the door closed. That began a 14 hour nightmare of bumping between flights and delays and the inevitable lost luggage. Paid for $300 hotel room at Vancouver that I will get to stay in for 4 hours. Will NEVER fly American again"

Not only did they RESELL and REASSIGN our seats to someone else -- we could not get a refund for the upgrade we paid for. To add insult to injury, the only seats they could give us were in the back of the plane next to the toilet. Having heard so many similar nightmare stories about American Air I can say I will never ever fly American Air again. We now have to spend our firrst few days home from vacation disputing that charge, writing letters and making calls to get that damn refund. I will be sharing my discontent far and wide. Whoever at corporate thinks it's best practice to sell and sell and sell seats and live with the aggravation of the customers has an upside down notion of how to run a successful business. NIGHTMARE."

Cons: "We were summoned to the gate area with an announcement that boarding would start in 5 minutes; this turned out to be L-O-N-G before boarding began. After standing around for at least 30 minutes with no information as to what was happening, departure time was delayed several times. This was around lunch time; when I finally decided to buy lunch in the terminal, the departure time was changed again to an EARLIER time, and I had to board without food."

The flight left on time and the flight attendant was not only kind and professional she went out of her way to make sure each passenger got personal attention. I fly very regularly and this was one of the top 3 experiences I have ever had. I will definitely fly United again and hope to be lucky enough to have Linda as my flight attendant."

Cons: "I chose to fly UA back from a trip to Fort Worth because your price was cheaper than the airline I normally use. Boy do I know why! You have the rudest staff I have ever encountered. My day started out at 6:30am with one of your staff members rudely telling me I had to check my bag, which met all of the dimension requirements you put in place, because two notches on the back side of the carry on did not allow it to completely slide into the display. This women waited until you were halfway through the security line to call you back and make you measure the suitcase. So then you had to walk back through a long line and find yourself even FURTHER back in the line to get through security. She was so unprofessional- not compassionate, unpleasant attitude, and was all about making sure as many people as possible had to pay the extra $25 for a checked bag. The person I flew with is a military wife and you would not honor the free checked bag because her husband was not on the trip and this policy was not included anywhere on her flight documents. Again, the "customer service" reps were rude to her about this and she had to pay the $25 to check her bag. You do not believe in offering quality customer service or ensuring that we have a pleasant experience, you want our money and look to us as an opportunity to make a dollar. Never again!!!"

Cons: "My husband, sister, brother-in-law and myself flew into STL. We thought we had booked the same flight but when we got there found out our departure flight was different. We asked about moving them to our floght but it was over booked so we asked if we could move to there flight. They had 15 open seats. They told us no. There would be a charge of 500 dollars if we wanted to change. We decided to just fly out first and meet them there. We stood by the counter to speak about meeting. As we did we could hear them telling the next couple that they would have to move to the later flight. It was a huge problem for them as they would miss there connection. We then offered again to take the later flight so they could take our place on the over booked flight and make there connection. They where unwilling. Then we get on the flight and the plane was nasty and dirty. We put out tray table down and there was drink and dirt all over it. When asked if they could be cleaned we got an attitude. They never came back to do it. Luckily I had a wet wipe to do it. The plan smelled like urine. Same was true for our return flight. The plane was very old and not taken care of. This is not the first problem is we have had with United. We will not be flying with them any longer."
