Cons: "Ordered a vegan meal for flight companion pre-flight; we *both* received a vegan meal (it seems like people with incompatible diets cannot book their flights together). Flight seemed to have run out meals since a random third person in my row requested an extra meal and was told they were out. Flight etiquette of other passengers would have been nice; for example, it was also fairly unsafe for a father and child to keep walking up and down the aisles, let alone the bumping into people they kept doing."

Two other fellow travelers booked flight VA 7516 through Expedia for $218 (USD) one-way. I was able to open the same flight / departure time / price with Expedia but could not book. I then switched to Kayak and located this same flight (as I wanted to travel together with them), and it was for approximately same price. Upon check-in I was told it would cost $120 to check my luggage in (which I reluctantly paid). They indicated my ticket did not include this. I later discussed this with my two travelers and their check-in luggage plus a meal were included with their Expedia (Virgin Australia) ticket. Why was my Kayak (Virgin Australia) ticket so different from Expedia when our bookings were done about the same time? I no longer trust Kayak for future bookings."

Cons: "I payed $50.00 USD on a seat so I would have a bigger seat. However, when I got into the plane, the lady that was going to be seating next to me asked me if I could change my seat with her husband; which was a regular seat. In order to avoid an awkward 12 hour flight, I agreed to change my bigger seat for a smaller seat. I felt disappointment that Air New Zealand separates parties and leaves room for uncomfortable situations. I really did not know what to do in this scenario, I paid for that seat but was in a way forced to give it a away without any refund in order to avoid 12 hours seating with some stranger's wife."

Economy seats are pretty narrow. I am of average size and I was often bumping and being bumped by the passenger in the adjacent seat as well as by people walking up and down the aisle."

Pros: "Air New Zealand has some of the friendliest cabin crews around. Their food is above average and they have a delicious array of wines served free with meals. My flight was interrupted by a medical emergency. We had to backtrack to the nearest airport, which added several hours to the flight. This meant a very long day for both passengers and crew. The crew remained cheerful and helpful throughout, in spite of cranky passengers."

Cons: "The flight was delayed by 4 hours because maintenance needed to change a tire on the airplane. The delay would have been acceptable if it wasn't for the excuses the airline offered. First, they said maintenance couldn't find a spare tire, and when they did rob a tire from another plane, they said the delay was due to FAA paperwork. These reasons, most likely true, suggest American Airlines (British Airways sub-contracted this flight to its partner, American Airlines) was not prepared to handle such an emergency."

Cons: "Unfortunately, the passenger beside me a young man was over served by the flight attendant and became extremely inebriated so that when I tried to ignore him and sleep, he kept touching me, rubbing my arm and leg. The crew were aware of what was happening and tried to reprimand him. It made my flight extremely difficult and it was all because the flight attendant served him doubles of whiskey (which the passenger was drinking neat) on six occasions, two bottles of red wine and that does not include the doubles the passenger procured for himself from other attendants. In all the behaviour of this passenger made my flight a complete nightmare and it was totally unnecessary for him to be served this much alcohol."

Pros: "The crew s oustanding. They were courteous, helpful, very professional and made the flying experience a pleasure for my family. With respect to the Miami ticket agents, there are 3 people I want to highlight for excellent service. Denise, who courteously accommodated our family and rescheduled our flight as needed, another young lady who checked us in. She was sensitive to our party of 5 and was extremely pleasant. The check in process was chaotic at best and she helped make it a pleasant experience. The person is Diane, the manager at the Miami airport. She helped bring order to a completely disorganized check in process and ended up personally escorting us through security toe sure that we made our flight on time. Diane is an excellent leader."
Cons: "The check in process was completely disorganized, due to a cancelled flight from Miami to Heathrow the night before. And there were 3 scheduled flights already that people were checking in for as well. There had to have been at least 600+ people in line to check in, plus those from the night before. The Miami airport doesn't have kiosks for passengers to easily check in and bag drop, which doesn't make sense in such a large and busy international airport. That would have made a huge difference in this case. Also, we paid for our seats to select them prior to 24 hours and we ended up not sitting together."

Pros: "The food and service was good. The seats in coach were uncomfortable and the entertainment was subar as there were only 8 or so movies no being recent release"

Pros: "We took off with an hour delay but we caught up so there were no delays in London. Smooth flight. The guy at check in was great, very helpful and pleasant (I forgot his name unfortunately)."

They did not smile and one crew basically yelled at me becasue he did not hear my reply when he asked what I want for dinner so instead of asking politely again he started to yell at me "Chicken or pasta?'"- I think Allistair was his name. The other lady also came across rude to me when she said "You have to speak up becasue I cant hear you!"- sorry, English is not my first language but I think the polite way should have been "Sorry m'am I could not hear you, could you please spak up?" - entertainment needs better selection"

Cons: "The plane was quite old so there were no individual TVs. For a long flight, this is a must."

Pros: "Good choice of entertainment."
Cons: "Thd boarding was delayed. The food was terrible. Thd breakfast was barely edible. For such a long flight, our flight attendant didn't even check on us after serving the meal and appeared bothered to even be there. In all fairness this was an AA flight not British Airways."

Pros: "The flight got us home"
Cons: "American Airlines, which ran the flight as B.A.'s partner, didn't give any reason for the on-ground delay, and acted as if we all should have expected to be an hour and a half late leaving the terminal. They offered very little information and didn't really care that we were so late leaving."

The overhead reading lights flashed on and off periodically making me a bit concerned about the electricals. Our main piece of luggage was sent on a different flight. It took us over an hour to locate that had happened. We waited at the distribution point. We got one Piecebut not the other. After all we’re taken from the belt we went in search and found it."

Cons: "Tight squeeze into seats. TV selection wasn’t mainstream programs - nothing of interest to an older person."

Pros: "There is not much to like when you over charge for seats and have staff who don’t accomodate for family to sit together or someone with a disability who needs to use the restroom often to sit on an aisle seat."

Cons: "American Airlines postponed my flight for 12 hours without a concrete explanation. After complaining they offered for us to travel with Latam but my luggage wasn’t transferred to the other flight. I arrived more than 12 hours ago and I’m still waiting to hear from them."

Pros: "Our seat was in a row with more leg space and this was wonderful for my husband who is tall. Also the entertainment system was great and the crew very nice."
Cons: "The food in this flight was TERRIBLE! It had been a long time since I had had such poor food on a flight. Also the delay on this flight made us miss our connection to Madrid and navigating Heatheow was a bit of a nightmare."

Cons: "No signage for checking bags. Was total cluster. No one knew where to take bags or what line to be in. Employees kept telling us we were in the wrong line but didn’t seem to tell us what was the correctly line."

Pros: "Nothing special just another flight another day"
Cons: "AA...they delayed flights and were very unprofessional. i will definitely choose BA over AA anyday."

Cons: "Dinner was so so but nice and hot. The breakfast in economy class was awful. The apple and cinnamon cake had too much cinnamon and left an aftertaste. The yogurt and granola was ok but not everyone has a yen for either of them. The dried apple and berries were too sweet. All in all we found this meal to be unsatisfsctory. The staff had only the most necessary contact with us which was to serve and remove trays and garbage."

Pros: "It was worth while upgrading to premium plus for the first time I was actually comfortable flying the crew is always kind and caring and the food was. Better than usual. Unfortunately Heathrow employees board handicapped people and the are horrible. They didn't come to board us until the plane was 75 percent boarded which is just unacceptable for a wheelchair user who cannot stand. BA had to stop boarding to get us aboard the plane with the help of BA crew who are great."

They scheduled us a new flight with Vianca and Iberia: Bogotá-Madrid + Madrid-Brussels. My partner and I could not sit together on any of these flights! 1 of 10 hours and of 2 hours! I would NOT recommend AA to anyone! This was full responsability of AA!"

Cons: "This 767 is a bit long in the tooth. It has very limited entertainment options, and although business class seats have power outlets, most seats on the plane do not. Ten hours of an overhead movie and no power for individual devices is tough. In business class, individual tablets are provided."

Cons: "It was the same crew from my previous flight from San Juan to Miami. They were not nice before and they were not nice on the second flight. It was a long day for us too."

Cons: "Hanging flown on several wide bodied aircraft, it’s been my experience that the A330 has a much better coach experience than the 777 aircraft models. For me, it’s a matter of legroom. Fortunately, I didn’t have anyone next to me on the flight and was able to spread out a bit (I’m 6’5”!!) My only other complaint was that while this was booked as an Iberia flight, the flights were all serviced by American Airlines. Check-in, seat selection were all handled by American. It was a little confusing in the online check-in process, because for months, the AA app wouldn’t recognize anything but the return legs of the trip using the record locator provided by Expedia."

Cons: "The only thing I was a bit disappointed was with the meal. I don’t eat red meat and requested it theough the website, but nithing special was arranged and I ended up eating pasta. Pasta is fine and I love it, but people that don’t eat meat need to have vegetables added to their meals, or at least an egg. And for breakfast the only option was a ham and cheese sandwich, so I didn’t eat."

Pros: "No issues — all good. Departure & arrival times as scheduled. Food & entertainment marks are low b/c they don’t apply (there should be an N/A selection as an option)."

Cons: "The power source wasn't working, Premium Economy pax can't go to the Business class restroom, although is just next to their area and have to cross half of the plane for the 1st Economy class restroom."

Bag was eventually found and sent to our home in US. Iberia had connecting flight to Berlin so close to arrival in Madrid that we barely made it on flight and bags never did. We will never fly iberia again."
