Flight from Miami to Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport

FAQs - booking Thailand flights

  • What is the Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok like?

BKK is one of the largest single terminal airports in the world. This modern structure almost looks like a spaceship and has a hotel inside the airport, day use rooms, and sleep capsules. BKK has many exclusive lounges, and some, such as Miracle First Class Lounge, offer pay-at-the-door access. You can also find a 24-hour food court, several currency exchange kiosks, and a play area for kids.

  • Where can I go in Thailand which is away from the crowds?

Away from the hustle and bustle of big cities, Chiang Mai is an ancient and mountainous city in the north of Thailand. Flights from MIA to the Chiang Mai International Airport (CNX) most often have two stops. For instance, you can book a flight on JetBlue and EVA Air that stops in Los Angeles and Taiwan. You can book a flight on Korean Air or Delta that stops in Atlanta and Incheon. At CNX, you can pay to enter an exclusive lounge, eat at some 24-hour restaurants, exchange currency, and rent a car.

  • Does MIA have a children’s play area?

Yes. If you are traveling with kids to Thailand and would like them to burn off energy before your flight, take them to enjoy Plane Fun, the play space at MIA. This indoor playground features a toddler’s soft section, an assimilated ride on a hot air balloon, and a kid-size control tower.

  • Does MIA have a hotel on-site?

Yes. If you want to stay near MIA the night before your flight to Thailand, consider checking in at the Miami International Airport hotel, which is located right in the airport in the Central Terminal in Departures on Level 2 of Concourse E. Amenities of this hotel include room service, a business center, a restaurant and bar, and wheelchair accessibility.

  • How does KAYAK find such low prices on flights from Miami to Thailand?

KAYAK is a travel search engine. That means we look across the web to find the best prices we can find for our users. With over 2 billion flight queries processed yearly, we are able to display a variety of prices and options on flights from Miami to Thailand.

  • How does KAYAK's flight Price Forecast tool help me choose the right time to buy my flight ticket from Miami to Thailand?

KAYAK’s flight Price Forecast tool uses historical data to determine whether the price for a flight from Miami to Thailand is likely to change within 7 days, so travelers know whether to wait or book now.

  • What is the Hacker Fare option on flights from Miami to Thailand?

Hacker Fares allow you to combine one-way tickets in order to save you money over a traditional round-trip ticket. You could then fly from Miami to Thailand with an airline and back with another airline.

  • What is KAYAK's "flexible dates" feature and why should I care when looking for a flight from Miami to Thailand?

Sometimes travel dates aren't set in stone. If your preferred travel dates have some wiggle room, flexible dates will show you all the options when flying from Miami to Thailand up to 3 days before/after your preferred dates. You can then pick the flights that suit you best.

Very good from the beginning to the end. Amazing experience

I liked the newer aircraft CRJ-550 since it had WIFI and the seats are more spacious.

Fly Dubai takes low cost and thrift to new depths in terms of service levels, terminal 2 is grossly inadequate for capacity and resembles a crowded buss or railway station,, the fly dubai( Emirates) flight is never on time(was 2.5 hrs delayed), and this is not an isolated experience, the flght air conditioning was turned low while we waited on the tarmac for take clearance to save fuel, should say more!!!! The depths! I only fly this airline from a compulsion, emirates code shares for connections to Muscat

They changed the flight time without telling us and were unwilling to help with rebooking because we booked through orbits/kayak

Emirates did great! I liked the service, the food, cleanness, and the flight was on time. Much better airline than Qatar Airways I flew with last year.

No kids provided. Instead we were told to have contacted the airline that we have kids and require kids meals. We were not the only ones who inquired about kids meals. It’s odd. Emirates and other airlines give kids meals as standard and before the adult food comes out. The rice in our meals was gluggy and under cooked. The chicken was also raw. Sadly not the best experience with Finn Air. The hostesses tried to compensate with the snacks and drinks but missed the mark by a long way. Especially when paying Emirates/Qantas prices

I lost my lock from my luggage, I don’t know someone took something from my bag.

Except for the uncleaned tray, and the delay in serving food for our section (which may have been due to the location of our row) everything else was good. The crew were very professional and responded to our requests promptly throughout the flight. We as a family were not disappointed by Emirates.

It was great, a little more leg room would have been better particularly since we were in premium economy

The boarding process was smooth and the stewardesses were nice. Some delays with drinks at the end of the flight, but no issues.

An awesome flight crew. FC seat cushion just doesn’t cut it for a 3+ hour flight.

Delta continues to set the benchmark for traveler-friendly service with minimal disruption and clear communication within the mainland US (coast to coast). I am consistently pleased to be a Delta customer, and this experience once again met my expectations. There was a brief delay departing from MIA due to a technical issue that required the aircraft to return to the gate. However, the situation was handled professionally and transparently. Fortunately, my planned layover allowed ample buffer time, so the adjustment caused no stress. Overall, another smooth and reassuring experience.

Totally worth the miles to upgrade to Delta Comfort. Plenty of legroom.

This was my first time flying Delta ever and I had a great experience!

The flight was great as well as the airline staff

Comfort seating was on the tight side. Maybe it was a smaller plane(?)

Excellent flight and got us around tough weather. Only issue was seat TV did not work and crew tried to reboot.

Connection through Atlanta was difficult. Mechanical issue on plane caused a two hour delay. New gate was a mile away.

No WiFi. Comfort plus should have alcohol provided, crew only offered water or tea. Who the heck wants tea?

I have diamond medallion status and usually we are in comfort plus . We were in main this time ( which was fine ) and my husband wanted wine . I have at least 10 vouchers for drinks that are good for this year and next! The attendant would not take the picture of the voucher as proof and never came back to check as She asked me to pull it up on delta Wi-Fi. Instead my husband just used his Amex to buy the wine . Disappointing!!!

Extremely uncomfortable seats with very little cushioning, unable to recline enough to sleep comfortably on this 13 hour overnight flight. My body was in pain by the end.

When we checked in at the Siem Reap Airport in Cambodia, we were only given three boarding passes and told that we would have to check in with American when we arrived in Boston. This was a source of stress for us. After we landed in Boston, we had a long passage from Terminal E to Terminal B (American Airline ticketing counter). Because the electronic ticketing kiosks for check-in would not recognize our Confirmation Code, we had to wait for an hour in a long line where only two AA reps were taking care of Special Services passengers. In many years of both business and recreational travel, I have never had this experience. I would expect more from AA being in partnership with other airlines to do a better job with this.

This flight was a very good trip for us. The crew were very friendly and helpful. They made arrangements for my husband to have assistance in boarding. We were not expecting a meal, so it was a pleasant surprise on this short flight to have a meal and beverage from a very courteous crew.

Our experience on the Doha to Hyderabad segment was extremely stressful due to prolonged delays and a lack of clear communication from the airline. We were traveling as a family, including children, and the uncertainty around timing and next steps caused significant distress. There was very little proactive information provided during the delay, and we were not given clear written explanations about what was happening or how long it might take. This made it difficult to manage the situation, especially while caring for children in a transit environment. In addition, one member of our party was ultimately unable to continue travel, which added to the emotional strain and disruption of the trip. Overall, the experience highlighted gaps in communication, customer care, and handling of unexpected situations. We are sharing this feedback so that future passengers, especially families, are supported with clearer communication and better assistance during irregular operations.

The seat cushions are absolutely lacking, not sure if they know the passengers are traveling for 14 hours straight, but the padding made our back and butt ache like crazy. The entertainment console had its own problems, either the headphone jack wasn't working or the power outlet via usb or ac outlet was not working. Not to mention the seat handles were not adjustable in some planes in the middle or on the aisle. Qatar/Indigo may be operating a very old fleet of planes to make as much profit as possible, but passengers may not be following them for long, should this treatment of its customers continue. Qatar/Indigo, wake up and do it right by your customers, or they may not be your customers anymore.

It would help id flight crew were not rude and showed some courtesy. They were shouting at passengers and yelling instructions as if we were school children at lunch cafeteria!!

All good. Over four hours flight if provided snacks like Qatar Airways would be better

Lobster starter in business class was not good, tough, served cold, and without butter. Movie selection was missing latest releases, did not offer older classic, high quality movies

Food was absolutely pathetic. I wasted so much food which I thought was inedible. I also loathe the inflight entertainment system which has very little content

My entire row did not have power for the full duration of a 14.5 hour flight. Could not charge any devices such as laptop or phones for the entirety of the long flight. The flight attendants tried to remedy the issue by resetting the power, but were not successful. The only other solution provided was to move me to another seat on the plane which was in the middle row. I had paid for a “preferred” seat that was a window seat. This was a downgrade being offered due to the power issue.

Terrible because it was cancelled due to volcanic ash clouds in Guatemala while all other airlines kept flying. Had to pay for a hotel to stay overnight in Houston and try to fly next day.

Flight delayed for more than 16 hrs and no effort was spent to provide an alternate

Plane outlets in my row not working to charge phone. Staff response was, well it should be. Plug into seed for volume not working well. Had to find the sweet spot for plug in or it would shut off and on.

Everything was absolutely wonderful from check in to baggage claim. Staff was very professional and sweet. Will definitely recommend United to family and friends.

Very turbulent trip made it pretty bearable, plus the lack of refreshments served and the lack of any air conditioning before takeoff which took an hour or more.

It was nice to have gotten up upgraded to first class with a meal on a three hour flight

They charged a fee for 1st bag checked. Others in same party were free.

Flight team stood out for perzonal attention, kindness at bright cheery attitudes at 8am. Very helpful.

The worst landing I have ever had on a domestic flight. Thought we would lose the landing gear on landing in Newark. Then we spent 40 minutes trying to position the plane in the right place to be able to get the jet way to the plane. The plane arrived stopped. The announcer was that we were there. Everybody got up, then we were told to sit back down because they had to have us towed to a different position. We got towed and then everyone stood up and they told us we were in the wrong position to sit back down again, and then we got towed to a different position This did not happen immediately. It was 30 minutes while we wandered around a small section of the tarmac in Newark close to the gate, but apparently not close enough. Horrifying experience The CAB should be investigating that flight

Boarding was organized. Plane seats comfortable and service was attentive. Food options were good.

Good overall. Seat spacing a bit tight between IST and ISB.

Excellent staff despite some trying passenger situations. Very impressed with their good attitudes and kindness.

Crew were unfriendly, touch screen for movies didn't work very well, seats were tight and uncomfortable

After arriving in Istanbul, the transit information on the electronic board showed a tight departure time, and the gate changed in the middle, making it difficult to make it on time.

Typically good service onboard but baggage delay in airport was significant

My, Syed Zawar Hussein Shirazi frequently flyer membership number was not included on my boarding pass from O’Hare to Istanbul despite my reminder to the attendant at check in. Further she forgot to give me my boarding pass form Istanbul to Lahore and she needs to improve her customer service, please 🙏

Everything about that day was great I was happy with how things went as a first time traveling with the airline thank you for all that you’ve doing by taking us there to our various destinations thanks.

They oversold the tickets by one which was my ticket so I didn’t have a ticket till last second

Not good. I was supposed to be in Mint but got in economy class

Service was slow and checked bag was off last evening when flying business
