Flying five hours to Maui, Hawaii is a bit different than a 1 hour flight to Portland or Seattle. Price of Alaska economy ticket no less than their next competitor (i.e., Hawaiian Air, etc.) on the same flight route offering meal service. May want to rethink pricing model?"

Cons: "While traveling recently with Alaska Airlines, my traveling partner and I were offered seats in the exit row, by the lady who checks your boarding pass at the gate. We gladly excepted the roomier seating. We were issued new boarding passes, and made our way to our seats. Once we settled in, a flight attendant asked to see my boarding pass. She looked at it and said, "Yep Amber so-and-so, seat 17B." Apparently, the airline had combined 2 flights, so people were all crammed into a new tighter space. There was even a bumped "first class" customer all squabbling over the seats. My traveling partner and I, eventually just asked them to please give us our old seats back. Finally, we were seated in our original seats. We never asked to be moved in the first place, it was offered to us. The whole thing was humiliating, and unnecessary."
Cons: "The whole boarding process by the time my group was boarded there was no overhead bin space for either my wife's or mine one carry on piece. The flight amendments did nothing to try and help me find room for any of them even though there were coats backpacks and purses filling the overhead bins. So we had to ride with both our carryon jammed under our seats and no legroom for 5 plus hours. Miserable never again!"

Pros: "Our ticket handler at Alaska Airlines ( Sep 21- SMF Airport) was the most helpful and patient person we have ever encountered! The tickets we had purchased through Kayak were charged but not booked. Juan did everything in his power to get us on that flight. And when the kayak company failed to book in time Juan got us on the next available flight, being to sure to find us the best price and a direct flight, versus the one we had booked earlier. Over all Alaska Airlines will be the standard my future experiences will be based off of if I am unable to travel through them"

My little girl got the Delta wings pin (including a second one when she lost the first one), and was able to visit the flight deck. Extra kudos for my daughter being able to see a female pilot! :-)"

I appreciate that the flight boarded and departed on time and landed slightly early. However, the plane was completely full (I suspect overbooked) and took a long time to board, during which time the CO2 level in the cabin climbed over 2,200 ppm, which is NOT SAFE given that COVID-19 is still being transmitted at a substantial rate across most of the country and airlines no longer require passengers to mask. Also, the midflight credit card sales pitch was tacky. It's like our airlines are being run by Ferengi.

Cons: "When I booked the flight, I hadn't realized that British Airlways had contracted the flight out to be operated by American Airlines. The flight was delayed in Paris and I ended up missing my connecting flight through JFK to DC. Though we were told on the plane that we would be given assistance upon landing and helped in an expedited manner through customs, instead I was briefly informed I had missed my connecting flight, handed an envelope, and told I needed to now travel to Laguardia Airport. No other information or assistance was provided. I was not given a reason why I needed to travel an hour in NYC traffic to switch airports nor was I given any help through customs. The shuttle I was told to take was unable to take me to the correct terminal, so I needed to get on a secondary shuttle. Again, after a 7 hour international flight, little assistance or aid was provided. I was barely able to make it through security in time to catch the new flight. Additionally, the actual flight from Paris to JFK lacked basic in-flight entertainment that almost any international flight would have. I will not be traveling on American Airlines again, and I am hopeful that Kayak and BA will be more clear in the future."

Upon arriving they announced that they did not have the Hawai'i agricultural forms, so we would have to wait until the "agent" cam on the plane with the forms, fill out the forms, and then disembark. The crew was not organized, so it took about 10-15 minutes to get off after we arrived in the gate (late) because they could not get people sit down and fill out the forms. Chaotic. I plan NOT to fly American again. Ever."

Cons: "THE TEMPERATURE WAS FREEZING. THE COLDEST FLIGHT IVE EVER BEEN ON AND IVE BEEN ON A LOT. IT FELT LIKE IT WAS 30-40 DEFGREES."
Cons: "It took 45 minutes for the luggage to arrive at the carousel, and they sent it to the wrong carousel. Not sure if it was at the other one the whole time, or just took that long."
Pros: "The hotel price did not include taxes breakfast"

Cons: "We were delayed in Detroit due to deicing the plane. We landed in Houston late. They let us and a few other couples off the plane first so we could make our connection. We sprinted off the plane and arrived to the gate two minutes after they closed the door; plane was still there and they would not let us on. United knew we were coming and they closed the door anyway. The next flight out to Liberia, Costa Rica wasn’t for two more days. They ended up rebooking us on a flight to Panama which had a connection to San Jose, Costa Rica. Much farther of a drive from that airport. Very disappointed in how United handled this situation, we were told if it was a bigger group they would have held the plane for us. I will never fly United again but I know it has nothing to do with Kayak. Kayak has always been great and is my go to for booking plane tickets."
Cons: "I had to cancel my trip due to family illness. And I guess that is not acceptable to United Airlines for a refund or reschedule without a fee that I could actually buy a new ticket for the cost of their fee. So I am losing out $578.00 Not happy."
Pros: "The flight was fine. Nothing that should have been positive stands out as missing."
Cons: "The first class flight attendant (male) was the worst. No interest in being on the plane, didn't bother to speak clearlybon the announcements. United should pull this person off of flight duty and deal with this person. The second is a terrible parent who let their kid cry the whole flight and afterwards in the jet way. This wasn't an infant had to be 4-5 years old and there was no parenting at all. The kid was old enough to be talked to. If you're kids can't handle flying, you don't get to fly."
Pros: "Flight was quicker than expected. The flight attendants were very nice!"
Cons: "The flight was delayed by 30 minutes due to air control in Newark."
Pros: "The agent in San Francisco was awesome and even went out of her way to bump me to a better seat. Leaving Portland was easy, crew were super organized!"
Cons: "No entertainment systems were working at all. Leaving San Francisco to kahului we had so many unruly young adults that were just out if control. They kept switching seats, spilling alcohol all over me and my stuff and the flight crew could not care less. We even had an older Asian flight attendant on flight 1749 that was just overwhelmed for the job. She would hand the person on the isle a handful of pretzels and say 'here, pass these out'. The other flight crew members made it worse by treating her poorly. You could tell they didn't like her and were agitated by her. Instead if being polite and educating, they were exasperated and impatient. Overall was super disappointed. I have flown United so many times back home to Maui and was always so please and excited to brag about how great United was. Not this time. Thanks for reading."

Cons: "The flight into Newark was delayed four hours because the airport was shut down for political officials. This probably should've been expected."

Cons: "The flight was delayed and was given another longer flight and had to pay for the luggage twice. Totally disappointed."
Pros: "I loved the pilot taking time to greet my boys and give them wings! My boys loved sitting in the co-pilot's seat and hearing "the plane talk." Once we got to our seats, the flight attendants were very helpful and kind and we, actually, landed early! Yaaayyy! My boys won't forget their flight to Houston because of the cool female and male pilots they met while traveling. Thank you!"
Cons: "I did NOT like how the seats are grouped in twos. I flew with two small children who could only sit together and I had to sit by myself and watch them; which was very hard. If I could change anything about my flight, I would change the age of children who need to purchase seats to four and up as most children under 4 want to sit with their mothers, so why should I pay for a seat they will not be using?"

Cons: "We wasted six hours at the airport to find out we would not get to our first destination in time to catch our jointing flights. Then they had to rebook us the next day and our luggage it was sent to Chicago . It was not a good experience at all just very frustrated and we missed a day of vacation"

Cons: "Revise your website to state accurately of the luggage allowance. I watched the people in distress because their carry on was a little too bulky."

Pros: "Flight crew was great, cockpit crew top notch, very smooth landing, entertaining and informative post flight info from pilot. Food was almost non existant, entertainment non existant, leg room cramped. Can the airlines do any more to make passengers miserable?"

Cons: "I received a " see agent" instead of a seat. When I asked about it at the gate, the woman said , I'll call you up" .?? Well no one called me up and when there were less than 10 people to board, I went up again. This time the gentleman handed me my new boarding pass. This was not cool!!!"
Cons: "Headphone jack was also broken on this flight , and my seat also did not go back"
Cons: "In flight wifi not worth money. Cant stream on paid for inflight wifi. Didnt want to watch pre loaded movies on united app. Should have free in flight movies that you dont have to pay for or allow you to stream what you want on paid for wifi."

Pros: "Boarding was very smooth, and flight was very timely (landed early)."
Cons: "Male flight attendant was extremely rude. I was asleep when the food was being served and politely asked for a tray of food once I woke up. Fight attendant that I asked was at the time collecting trash and snapped back saying that he had to finish what he was doing first. After about 10 min the lady attendant walked by so I simply mentioned that I was waiting for my food in case he had forgotten or was busy. She asked if I had mentioned it to the man attendant and I told her that I had and that I was simply waiting. She proceeded to go to him (not sure what she told him), but he later came by and angrily handed me my tray of food and annoyingly explained that he had to finish handing the trash In order to then handle my food. I told him that I completely understood, and he AGAIN snapped back saying "oh really? Because I heard you were complaining!" And walked away. The rest of the flight he proceeded to ignore me. I had been nothing but polite to him. The lady across the isle was looking his way and the man next to me made a comment to me that I had done nothing wrong and mentioned he he noticed how rude the attendant was to me. That even if I HAD complained, he was in no place to confront a customer about it. Regardless, I hadn't even complained one bit."

Pros: "That was the worst traveling experience I've had to date. Yes, I understand there were storms and natural circumstances that held the flight and for that - I understand. What I do not care for is the lack of customer service. There was only one person at the counter in the airport. And let's not mention the unpleasant flight attendent on at 5 hour flight! Nothing offered for the inconvenience. Everyone including the pilot was just as irritated as the passengers. I usually prefer United when flying coast to coast but...worst experience yet."

Pros: "The crew were all very nice and clearly well trained. The seats had plenty of leg room. For being an early flight I was able to take a nap on the plane comfortably."
Cons: "It listed that there was private tvs for each passenger but I didn't see a single screen. Maybe I needed to be more proactive with asking about them."

Cons: "flight crew could give a sh!t. Had to connect and came in late, made no assistance to get connecting passengers off first. Tv option sucks. Have to pay to watch anything. Couldn't even watch plane progress. Pay for that too. Only thing on is a cooking show. And yes you have to pay for food. Interesting. Food is decent though. That was a plus. All but one of the crew seemed pissed about being there. I know passengers suck. At least the guy that looked like Tim meadows from snl was nice. A 5 hour flight and they plane has no wifi (I get it) but also no charging ports??? Just gives the feeling of being held hostage for 5 hours and the only savior is your Visa. I'd hate to see how parents with kids handle it."
