Cons: "The crew went 8 hours without food or beverage service. When asked for water, they directed us to a shared (COVID!) bottle of water near the bathroom. Terrible service and in fact, dangerous."

Attendants in the airline could have communicated much better to give update on delay, but they did not give any information despite several times getting up to ask questions at the main check-in. Many of the passengers were very discouraged. Plane left nearly 2 hours late due to an unclear maintenance issue, paperwork and also no fuel put in the plane until all passengers we on board."

I am very surprised that they would not take families traveling together into consideration, especially when we booked all at the same time and far in advance. At the very least sit two together. My daughter sat between two straight, and was very uncomfortable. It made her ill. I will not fly long flights with American again."

Cons: "The first plane was broken and the pilot kept coming to brief the passwngers that it was broken but it may be fixed and so on, it would have been better if he had just let the counter clerk say the plane is delayed due to maintenance. As a customer, i dont need all the rambling explanation every ten minutes about the issue. I was told that we could board another flight leaving in 30 minutes, so i went to that gate, crew was not there and we boarded the plane. We had to de- board and wait for the crew. After the crew showed up, the rest of the flight was pretty standard."
Cons: "Missed my connection in London due to a computer malfunction that took over an hour to remedy. In getting to London, I was automatically rebooked, but with a flight that got me in 10 hours later than expected. I asked customer service about alternate flights, with or without connections, that might get me in earlier, but was given a quite curt, "that is not possible," and turned away. Even if that was the case, which seems unlikely given the multiple other flights arriving in Luxembourg from European airports earlier in the day, it was not particularly friendly."

Why would an airline schedule the same plane for an international flight and then a short hop from Newark to DC without adequate time in between? The departure gate at Newark was absolute chaos! Announcements were overlapping and not understandable. There was inadequate seating."

We were appalled and embarrassed in front of many others in the gate boarding area. The gate agent in Houston has no place in customer service and was on some kind of a power trip. This surprised me with recent events. We are done with United now for many reasons"

Cons: "United delayed the flight over for 2 hours with over 24 hours of flight time. The reason was one of the crew memeber called in sick. When we showed the flight, we were told the flight has to make another stop in San Francisco thus delaying the flight for amther 3 hours. If they know hat they are missing a crew member over 24 hours and cannot find a replacement, this is a serious problem with United. They must be running a very tight ship."

Pros: "After I boarded, the flight experience was fine for a 16 hour flight. Service was great and helpful, lacked wifi but the inflight entertainment kept me satisfied. All together was pleasant."

When I got to the gate I purchased 2 bottles of water (INSIDE SECURITY RIGHT ACROSS FROM THE GATE) only to find out at the end of the jetway, like 100 steps from where I purchased them, I had to give them up. Who would of thought, why would a human want 2 bottles of water before boarding a 16 hour flight, weird right, so that was really frustrating and just a plain waist of money. Thanks UNITED..."

People were constantly coming and out as well as stepping on my feet while they stood and stretched so I never had any actually "extra leg room". I didn't get any sleep from the bathroom lights contasntly shining in my face. The entertainment was horrible there were no tv screens expect for the small ones going down the aisle. Felt like I was on a flight from when I was 10. When we made it to our destination baggage claim was a mess and our carsoul kept changing. None of the passengers or employees knew what was going on. It was a mess."

Could not get us out until the next day on another airline. They did give us hotel voucher but did not arrive at hotel until after midnight cue to late notice of flight cancellation and long lines at the airport. Sent bag on another flight even though we could not fly out as scheduled. Therefore we were stuck overnight without our luggage, change of clothes, cell phone charger etc... Seems United has these issues more than any other airline. Will avoid flying united in the future"
