Cons: "Terrible late. Kept getting delayed then finally took off and lost cabin pressure. Had to circle back and land. I finally gave up on the flight and rented a car to drive to Fort Wayne."

Cons: "There was some grouchy lady working the terminal and she put a damper on everyone mood. Could put my seats together without me paying an up charge."

Pros: "Seat was narrow from side to side; so short from front to back that only half my thigh was supported; hard; and pitched slightly forward from uneven wear. This was an exit row, so I had legroom at least. I’m 5’4” and trim. A taller, or broader person would not fit!"

Pros: "Nice crew members always polite and courteous.maybe over polite if anything. Australians don't require subservient service deliverers. The constant "your very welcome" regardless of the service and response to that delivery is off-putting to me. But al in all pretty good in most areas."
Cons: "ON ticketing at New Orleans I wasn't allocated a seat number. At the gate shortly prior to boarding I needed to attend the desk for that allocation. I was also not told which Terminal the plane would go to in LAX and which terminal the connecting flight would be leaving from. They were not sure! Consequently I floundered around at LAX wasting time and bothering people for information that should have been known to me. The security checks are over the top and inconsistent in the US."

Cons: "I upgraded my seat and paid extra for one with more room. And I wasn’t impressed with my upgrade, doesn’t feel like more leg than regular seats. Comfort was below average."

Pros: "Hartsfield rental car train broke so it made me miss my original flight to DCA. Delta ticket agents rebooked me w/no problem and could not have been nicer or more professional. Thank you Delta, you are my hero! Hartsfield Airport, not so much."

Pros: "What I USED to like was the no hassle, no problems getting the tickets right through landing on the tarmac."
Cons: "I had a family emergency and because I had used a mileage ticket (as opposed to a paid ticket) I was told that I needed to give them 72 hours notice. I tried to explain that I had no control over the situation. It fell on deaf ears. I was so upset and frustrated that I could barely speak. My miles are now lost as the entire round trip ticket was cancelled and I have no way to regain all those miles that I wasted. It was the first time Delta did not come through for me and I must say, it's left a very bitter taste in my mouth. I couldn't believe that there isn't some provision (there is if I had paid for my ticket) and have lost all those miles that I use to fly Delta. So much for customer service."

Pros: "The most humorous and professional flight attendants that I can remember on any flight. The ladies were friendly and efficient, but th male attendants were the same, but quite humorous! And at ten o'clock at night, after a long day, that made the flight relaxing and "fun.""

I have taken this flight several times in the last 2 years and written about this issue but now doubt anybody cares about these comments. To make things worse, my seat would not recline!"

Cons: "Economy seats have no leg room and seats are very uncomfortable to your back during a 8hr flight. Flight attendants skipped rows for drinks, snacks, etc and would have to be called back. Paying close to a thousand per ticket, you'd expect a little better experience but oh well."

Cons: "I had a 2 hour stop in ATL with a final destination of Guadalajara. Since the hub system used by Delta required me to go north in order to go south, Delta decided to charge me $40 for my luggage. If I had flown directly to GDL there would have been no charge. But since I had to go through ATL, I added hours of travel and additional fees."

Pros: "I commend the gate agent for trying to get the plane boarded by herself. But it was a SNAFU, very unusual for a Delta flight. By herself, it was almost impossible to deal with passports, visas, and people cutting inline."
Cons: "Didn't use the priority boarding lane. Once we boarded and left the gate, The plane stopped 30 ft away to proceed to unload and reorganize luggage in the cargo hold for about an hour. Flight was late in arrival by about two hours."

Cons: "There was no social distancing on the flight due to it being full. We had to switch out planes which caused an hour delay. No food and no one came for trash which I just left my empty cup on the seat. No flight attendants came through during the duration of the flight. The Wifi didn't work but I didn't need that for once."

Cons: "Crew was rude, and we had to wait an hour to leave, I understand things happen, but then we were rerouted mid flight so it was inconvenient and again I get it, things happen. But the landing was incredibly rough and the pilot didn’t apologize. That would have made things better, but he said nothing about being sorry we were delayed and nothing about the rough landing."

Cons: "Flight delayed due to weather issues then compounded by crew issues. Would have been tolerable if they had been upfront about it instead of doing the one hour delay, then another hour, then another hour ad nauseum. More than 3 hours total."

Cons: "Flight from Gulfport was delayed 3 hours and carry on bags with wheels were not allowed on the plane even though there met the size requirements for a carry on. I was allowed to bring it on the incoming flight, which was the same kind of plane. Not a pleasant experience and will definitely avoid American Airlines in the future."

Pros: "The flight attendant was one of the best that we have ever had on this flight. Since we were a late afternoon flight out of O'Hare we did had a departure delay. But the flight attendant served us drinks and snacks while on the ground. And after we took off he came around again and offered us more drinks and snacks. As we departed the plane he even offered us snacks to take with us."

Cons: "The boarding area was dirty, and the gate changed twice, once when I was already in a different terminal, so having me to ride the shuttle twice. In general I hate to have to pay extras for baggage, seats and pedale food. This is not AA specific, but if AA would lead change I believe it would soar in 1st place for customer satisfaction."

There was only one movie option (terrible selection) and the screens were spaced out so far I couldn't have seen it anyway. All of this would have been ok for a short flight but for an overseas flight it was the worst I've experienced."

Cons: "The flight left almost 6 hours late, and the delay was not directly due to weather. Another flight from and to the same airports left as scheduled 3 hours before this one finally left."

Cons: "The "valet" checking of larger carry on bags was not acceptable. Passengers were expected to load their bags on a large cart while airline workers stood by watching them struggle, including the elderly. I was very disappointed and embarrassed for this airline. Customer service is definitely not a priority!"

Pros: "My 17 year old daughter flew American Airlines to attend a wedding. She recently had spinal surgery and is not able to lift more than 5lbs. After being assured by the airline that staff would help her with her carryon luggage, she was abandoned and ignored by both flight attendants. Each flight attendant referred het to the next, so she is walking back and forth tor their amusement. Tears rolling down her face, finally an elderly passenger helped her. Then the staff gave her attitude the entire flight. She may appear healthy, but she was cut from her neck to her waist and had two rods inserted along with bone grafts. I just cannot believe how awful she was treated."

Cons: "I'd didn't like that we'd had to pay 50 dollars for a medium size luggage,when other passengers have,slightly smaller suitcase,a carry on a lap top or big purse."

Cons: "The crew was grump,y even when I checked in at the counter it was as if they couldn't be bothered to do their job. I have not experienced this on other American flights. The crew will at least attempt a smile and greating, not at Piarco. When we arrived to Miami it took 2 hours to receive our luggage and no one told us why, we just stood there, waiting around like it was the 2nd coming of Jesus.... I'm glad I can still smile, hopefully the Trini staff can too"

And finally when the problem was finally resolved we nearly missed the flight; despite being there nearly 2 hours early."
